A new Avatar

Based on Avatar: The last Airbender.

It's been 100 years since Aang and his friends defeated the Fire Lord and brought peace and balance. Air nomads have risen agean and inhabit the Air temples once more. A new Avatar had been born after the passing of Aang's succesor, a member of the Water tribe. This new Avatar, a young man named Dosu, is from the Earth Kingdom. Having already mastered Earthbending, he is about to head out and learn the other elements. But unknown to him, Sozin's comet will be making a return in a year's time. And now, the current Fire Lord plans to use it to finish what Sozin and Ozai started.

Rules-
-No god modding or controlling other characters.
-No killing without permission.
-Talk with me before doing a time-skip.
-There can only be one master for each element, and they are the one's who will be teaching Dosu.
-Bloodbending will not be allowed at all.
-Keep romance PG-13, any higher, take to PM or IM.
-The Fire Lord can't be the Fire master, for obvious reasons.
-Only one element for a character, Dosu is the only exeption, being the Avatar.
-Please use OOC (Out of Character) and BIC (Back in Character)
-If you want to be a master or the fire lord, put it in Other on the character format.
-If I think of more rules, I'll post them here and in OOC.

Can I have him be someone sent to hunt the avatar?

 

Idk. I mean, it would reveal the Fire Lord's plan way too soon.

 

What if he's just like a bounty hunter who knows nothing of the plan and is just in it for money? Like Combustion man.

 

True, but how would he know he's the Avatar? Dosu recently found out himself. Besides, we really need a Fire Lord and a Fire Master to start.

Added. Also, they all know martial arts, because the bending is just different forms of martial arts. Like waterbending is really Tai Chi. Hung Gar is earthbending and Chu Gar Southern Praying Mantis is Toph's blind version of earthbending. Northern Shaolin is firebending and Ba Gua is airbending.
