A My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic movie?

    Perhaps some dark force convinces Luna to revert back into Nightmare Moon? or Discord returns to reak horrible vengeance? Or perhaps a Nightmare Moon/Discord Double feature?

    Man, i really dunno about a movie in theatres. Sometimes once there's a movie, the show goes down hill.....It can be a 1hr television movie, that would be awesome. More Discord please!!!

    I wouldn't mind a TV-movie, but I really think it's WAAAY too early to even think about a theatrical movie. That would be too risky.

    I wouldn't mind having an hour long tv movie.

    A theatrical release would just be too much unless they have a good enough story to back it up (possibly the Discord meets Nightmare Moon thing that was mentioned earlier).

    After the epic season 2 finale.....sooo much potential for a movie. =D In fact, the season finale was really close to being a movie. The song, "This day Aria" was basically Disney quality! Let's get a movie with Changling queen and Discord? =D Doesn't have to be theaters.

    That little musical number reminded me of Ursula from The Little Mermaid.
    I don't think there will be anything in theaters (Despite the large fanbase) and TV movies are a possibility as they've done with previous generations. Wouldn't mind seeing some form of team-up involving antagonists and people who stormed out of Ponyville such as Gilda and Trixie.

    I completely agree! The season 2 finale is easily my favorite episode (or episodes if you count them as two episodes). But like I said, only TV movies in the future.

    Even though we have had 2 seasons already, with a really good season 2 finale, i would doubt its time for a full theater movie.

    However, as pretty much everypony is aware, they are curently in production for a 3rd season, but i do not know when/how long we have to wait, but hopefully the wait will be worth it~

    I kind of feel like the season 2 finale already was kind of already a TV movie. The setting was almost completely new, there were multiple musical numbers, with a freaking badass villain who had her own villain song, and there was a great conflict; basically everything you would need or ask for from a TV movie. I wouldn't want to see a theatrical movie, I think it would somehow ruin it.

    The movie will be of their older selves having to destroy a new creature from outer space. Well that would be my idea but who knows. Barbie had a movie so why not My Little Pony.

    As much as MLP fans would like that, I don't think that's such a good idea. For one thing, it could end up being a waste of money if you really want it to become the kind of movie in theaters. Another thing is that the double episodes can already suffice as a movie. But the series does have the potential to become one I would think, considering the first two episodes ever, the first two episodes of Season II and of course, the season finale. Totally my opinion, though.
