Actually that person was Riku who was doing the whistling. Riku's actions were very subtle but if you looked you could tell he was doing more than people assumed. When Kairi and Axel did their debate on DI, Riku actually appeared and was the cloaked being in the portal of Darkness. Pluto was following Riku around. Riku also is the one who grabbed Sora when Saix had made him disheartened and Maleficent showed up. Just about any scene with Pluto around in KH2 had Riku around somewhere, even if he wasn't showing himself.

As for the letter, I had debated if at first Pluto wasn't trying to get that letter to the King, not to Sora really. Sora was led to the Castle Oblivion because of Namine, but King Mickey was also somewhat that way, or heading that way, and aided Riku mainly, so I pondered if the letter wasn't for Mickey...but maybe it was just something that was forgotten, or the symbol was supposed to get Sora to follow Pluto knowing that it was the King's seal. It could really be something that was forgotten about, which would be amusing.

 

Hmm...I'm not sure Namine guided him them there, I believe Marluxia did. As for the letter, it WOULD be amusing if the letter was forgotten, yet holds some sort of clues we've yet to discover. I mean half the people that visit this thread completely forgot about the letter (Actually, most people did.), so it wouldn't surprise me if that letter held some sort of clue to something.

 

No, Namine did it. She started luring Sora to the castle on her own because she was lonely and felt a link to him and for rescue from being stuck there. Marluxia caught her and demanded she bring him there to be a part of his ploy to get rid of Xemnas and take over the Organization so she finished the job of luring him there.

No problem. =:) I do also want to know if we'll find out about it. Someone mentioned it could be the message in the bottle at the end of KH2 but I'm pretty sure that's not possible since the color paper is not the same, and well, it's in a bottle and not delivered by Pluto. Maybe it has something of an important yet lame part in KH3. I still find it amusing to think that Nomura forgot the purpose of it.

 

I'm fairly sure that the world is Twilight Town. 2 reasons. 1) There was no world switch seen from COM to KH2, granted there was a large gap in where the container could of been moved with need of a cutscene. 2) If you are at Sunset Terrace you can a huge feild. Most people seem to think its a sea but if you look carefully you can see trees and a river.

It couldn't be the letter that was in the bottle because that was from Kairi. I don't think Kairi would say " Sora. Riku. Look!" just to show them a letter that they already read from her.

The wrold with castle oblivion I think is Twilight town. If you go to sunset terrace (the area with 6 of the 7 wonders) you can see the feild. not the crossroad but the feild.

 

It's a possibility. DiZ and Namine brought Sora (While he was sleeping) to Twilight Town for his safety, while regaining his memories. So there MIGHT be a connection to Twilight Town and the fields (Crossroads).

 

That's true, I just thought that Twilight Town, along with Destiny Islands, had been connected with Castle Oblivion. I think Destiny Islands was just connected to another world, like the realm of darkness. Twilight Town could be the same way, though.
