Kingdom Hearts II A little Xehanort Identity Rant

I remember this a while ago, and TheWertle helped me confirmed it, but now it's gotten me curious as well, why does everyone not know who Xehanort is, when every booklet, even Jiminy's Journal shows a picture of him. I mean Sora's heartless looked exactly like Sora did, so it's only natural Xehanort's heartless would look just like Xehanort did. What we don't know is Xehanort's memories, which as far as we could tell might not have anything to do with the character Xehanort, might have a relation to him though. Which also brings me to believe the old man can not be Xehanort, might be some grandpa or left over darkness or whatever of Xehanort, but can't be Xehanort himself, unless Xehanort lost hair in the past, and re-grew it at that point.

Anyways yeah, I can't believe it took me months to realize we already pretty much found out who Xehanort is.

Not Anti-Sora either, after Sora lost his heart, and became a heartless, when he returned to his normal form thanks to Kairi, Sora was STILL a heartless, he was just a heartless in human form, just like Xehanort's heartless is. This is mostly confirmed through an interview a while back, and I believe, it's either the KH1 Manga, or Novel that also confirmed this, because of something Kairi said.

I guess when he merged with Roxas he was no longer a heartless but i don't know.

First of all, Xehanort does not look exactly like his heartless. I wish I had a sufficient render to show you, though I know you probably have plenty. There are differences in their hair and eye color. Second, every heartless holds a captive heart. Sora's heartless held Sora's heart. When Kairi "revived" Sora's heart, Sora somehow became himself again. Thus his shadow heartless was obliterated and Sora once again held possesion of his heart. I tend to think that Sora's heart overpowered the darkness that created his heartless, allowing him to gain control of the heartless' very thoughts and actions.
The reason why people associate Xehanort with the Bald Man in the Secret Ending is because he is dressed similar to Xehanort's heartless. However, nothing is confirmed, so we can only speculate the reason why this is. And that is part of why this forum exists, am I correct? XD

That is odd about Sora being a heartless in human form. Especially since Namine was able to rearrange the chains of memories in his heart when he was in Castle Oblivion. I missed that interview that stated that. Can you send me a link please?

 

That is what I was trying to tell you guys , if the old bald guy wears the same clothes as Xehanort's heartless , that does not mean that he is Xehanort , it's just Xehanort's heartless who wearing the same clothes ,you guys , not the real Xehanort, himself.

What I think is that the bald man's name is Xehanort,but not THE Xehanort we all know.I also think that Terra and 'Xehanort are related,maybe father-son.At the end of the secret movie,you could see Terra's eyes turning yellow,just like 'Xehanort'.Then Terra forgot his memories.Maybe Ansem the Wise found Terra and when he asked Terra for his name,Xehanort was the first thing in his mind.....
That is my guess.You know how Kingdom Hearts make some weird plot...

 

Not because Jiminy's Journal said so I never trust that, but because even in KH2FM+'s Ultimania and other things, they've been keeping a straight fact that Xehanort is Xehanort, I mean yeah they'll probably turn it around, in the next series. But I'm just gonna stick with the Xehanort we know is the one that Ansem, and everyone else calls Xehanort. Because in KH1, yeah Xehanort claimed to be Ansem, but also back then no one at all really clerified this besides, Sora and the others, but this time we even have Ansem the Wise who did so.

Anyways, what I'm just saying is the way they keep strongly stating Xehanort, is Xehanort in KH2, the Ultimania and everything, they seem to be keeping a much stronger grip on it, since around the first Ultimania, whenever Ansem was brought up Nomura wouldn't really touch the subject on him, or the name at all. But for Xehanort, Nomura's brought up a few things, some htings we figured out for ourselves that he brought up like "No Heart X" and "Another X" and most of the time whenever he does bring up Xehanort mixing with the three knights he says "Xehanort's Memories". Though it's also quite possible, that the man we currenlty know as Xehanort, and the Old Man could very much be one and the same thing. Which would also then yeah, lead to Terra too.

Which actually brought up more questions for me, what the hell happened between the time, for Terra, and Xehanort to look like so of a mix, which is yeah, where I believe the possession comes in.


Damnit I'm not thinking when I'm typing now, but I'm beginning to think if Xehanort is really the one we know as, for somereason, I see a mixture of names of the old man and terra, though the name's probably co-incidence. Xehanort can be ripped out as Tera, and Nohx and if we add one more letter for Tera, we get Terra, and maybe if we add one more letter to Nohx we get the bald man's name.

Though it's 3:33 am when I was typing this, so ignore it please, haha.

 

I agree with that. I think that Xehanort is Terra, who lost his memories.

 

Sora can't possibly have remained a heartless until the time he merged back with Roxas : a heartless is a heart enslaved by darkness, and could never use the keyblade, which apparently requires a heart worthy of its power. Rather than a heartless, I'd say Sora existed only as a heart until he merged back with Roxas : somehow, he was powerful enough to create a new body and a new mind for himself until he could get the originals back and be complete again.

About Xehanort's origins and identity, that's something we've been speculating on for quite some time : one of the most popular theories is that Baldy took Terra's body for himself because his own was too old, but that somehow he lost his memories in the process. The ES Sora fights in KH2FM would be either Terra's heart or his memories that went on to exist on their own, and that hate the man named Xehanort, because it is his body and his enemy's heart and mind.

 

Don't forget that we had a roxas lookalike there. Whats not to say HES just a look alike? I mean Ven was confirmed being his own charecter. But yet looks like roxas with very minor differnces. Terra could be the same.

BUT there are factors which bring me against it. Like how Xemnas said 'friend' to the knight. And how Terra = Earth = Riku = Xehanorta heartless. Which is similar to how Ven is said to have a connection to sora and roxas.

Also didn't Xigbar see the three knights? Probebly when he was human but Ill leave you to ponder there.

Ya, thats what I think. I don't really like the possestion theory. I think that the bald man's name what Xehanort, and after he lost his memory all he remembered was 'Xehanort' because of his extreme amount of hate. Or maybe, since Xigbar saw the knights, he may have heard one on them say 'Xehanort' and when they found him on Ansem the wise's door step, he thought that that was the think that was most likely his name.

It explains why the terra that Sora fights (it would be in the past, which he reached through the portal) hates Xehanort.

 

ooo i got quoted lol anyways i think the reason hes wearing xehanorts heartless clothing is merely an allusion to Xehanort not that baldy is xehanort but that the clothing is meant to represent darkness or maybe the clothing is the clothing of anybody who like xehanort retained sense of self ans body shaped after becoming a heartless and i also think that xehanorts heartless's guardian is what he looked like under the brown robes before he took over rikus body

 

Exactly, It sort of forshadows their connection. Thats a cool way to say it.. It was an allusion.

I don't know why, but I always thought that the gaurdian was suppost to be Riku. Since He had taken over Riku, and since Riku had the same..uhh...Wirey look. I'm not sure though...

 

What if i say that Xehanort was the apprentice of baldy and so they have their own little team and have the same clothes also if he was baldys apprentice that would explain why terra would hate him as well, coz you know he hates the master, so he would hate his followers.
