A Life to Lead ^_^

Roxas nodded and watched her create her own entry back home."I'll be here." he stated the obvious and awaited her return, looking back up toward the Altar hoping Xemnas wasn't listening.Before he had time to check, Xioimara appeared again with her puppy,Alphonse."Welcome back, boy." he whispered to the adorable furry bundle of joy as he nodded toward Xioimara.He looked towards the exit to the alter and ran through the tunnel, heading for the halls which held the rooms.

After about two minutes of an easy jog, Roxas was just outside his own room, waiting for Xioimara to memorize the way before opening his door.White was what met his eyes.He'd change the wallpaper but found that it would be sort of childish on his part.That was exactly what Xemnas would expect from him, and then reject the idea.Killjoy.

"Well..it isn't impressive, but it's my room.." Roxas said, entering and holding the door open for her to step inside.It held every necessity.Bed,Drawers,Desk,Bathroom,etc..everything he'd need."And between you and me..this is one of the largest rooms.I was lucky to get one so big." he smiled and shut the door once she was inside, looking towards the bathroom."You can change in there or anywhere your comfortable."

 

Leon crossed his arms as he thought this fight was just another chance for Cloud to show off his skills. "Okay Cloud I know you are raring to fight, but what ever for? You say a job to help us pay our bills and other things, but what kind of job is it?" He wanted some answers.

"So are you still going to fight me or will you chicken out?" He smirked at the brunette warrior who had asked Cloud a question regarding their conversation. Across the way, he noticed that Demyx had twisted Larxene's arm and hand letting her feel pain like none other. "Hmph serves her right," he mentioned to himself.

 

"I think Xemnas is trying to blind us." Xioimara said, her eyes squinting slightly. It was hard moving from a dark town to a crystal white walls. No dust. No dirt. The air felt cleaner too. Xioimara made sure Alphonse followed her into Roxas' room and he sat down. Xioimara took her new clothes from Roxas.
"Okay, thanks." Xioimara said to Roxas and smiled once more. "Al will keep you company." She said to Roxas while looking at Alphonse and he started to wag his tail. She knew in some ways he could understand her.


Minutes later, Xioimara stepped out from Roxas' bathroom in her new clothing. "I'm not normally one to wear this type of clothing.." She started as she looked at her arms. It was more slimming than what she had been wearing before. It brought out her shape more.
"I'm not too fond of my body so I normally wear anything but this type of apparel." She had to admit she didn't feel better about herself already. Alphonse stood up and trotted over to Xioimara and sniffed her leg and looked up at her wagging his tail.
"Like it, Al?" Xioimara asked, looking down at Alphonse and then looked at Roxas and shrugged.

 

With the young members now gone, Xemnas could think on other matters..one concerning Demyx, who had chosen NOT to search the Underworld for Nobodies, but instead chose to pick up a mercenary?Demyx might not be the brightest in this group, but even HE should have understood the orders.

Xemnas turned is attention back to the Dusk, which still swayed nearby.He wouldn't threaten the messenger, but instead chose to send a message back to Demyx."Prepare to explain yourself as soon as you arrive back..do not wait too long to contact me.You wouldn't want me to come after you." he said loud and clear for the Dusk to remember.

Xemnas looked back up towards the Heart Shaped moon before heading back inside the castle while the Dusk left yet again to deliver another message to the incompetent Demyx. It wasn't easy leading a group, but someone had to do it.

Roxas played with Al for a little while until Xioimara returned, and as soon as he saw her, he smiled.The change in wardrobe fit her better, and her shape was more drawn out and noticeable.He looked her over before walking towards her."I think it looks good on you Xioi, really does bring out your shape more..!" he rubbed the back of his head and seemed to shrink before her.A light blush on his cheeks his eyes looked towards his right side."Not that I was trying to check but...I mean..you know.." he struggled to find the right words, but hoped that she understood what he meant.

 

"It's okay. I understand what you mean." Xioimara said to Roxas and smiled a little more. She lowered her eyes to the ground, she never smiled this often. When she did it wasn't a real smile.

"Thank you, I guess." She said after he complimented her and found herself feeling a little red in the face but it quickly disappeared. She wanted to keep the conversation from going quiet. She was aware it would quickly start to feel awkward, "So, is my room nearby?" Xioimara asked Roxas and looked back up at him.

 

Oh, Thank Kingdom Hearts she said something.

Roxas straightened up and put his hand to his side, nodding a couple times and laughing nervously.He completely forgot, but didn't want to admit it out loud.He'd try and play it cool so as to not look like a complete dolt in front of her."Y-yeah.I'll show you--..wait..its next door too." unfortunately he was next to number XII, Larxene as well, but with Xioi nearby he wouldn't mind the mean blonde girl anymore.

He walked for the door and waited for her to exit with Alphonse before heading to the door on his right.An empty room, open for settling in.Once he opened the door to her room he allowed her to check it out first, making sure it was suitable.It held the necessities as well.

 

Xioimara followed Roxas and whistled for Alphonse to follow and he did. He trotted into the room and started to sniff out the room. Xioimara could tell he already knew this was his new home. She had to go back and get all of his things. Mostly toys, she was thinking of leaving behind the pillow he normally slept on and anything else he didn't really need.

"Perfect." She smiled and walked into a room. It was a little bigger than her own room. Xioimara wasn't used to the white walls. She graffitied her walls to make it more colourful and not just a brick wall. She wanted to change the colour immediately. Alphonse was pleased with the room also. He spun around in a circle and ran over to Roxas and then to Xioimara.

 

His blue eyes were prepared for the next assault for he had seen to much happing at once. "What else can go wrong?" he thought before heard Leon speaking to him. "Ok Leon before you say anything that you'll regret I'm only going to fight her to find out what the job will entail. I have no choice, but to do this so you can either stick around and watch me or fight that guy over there," he pointed to Axel. "It looks like you got yourself into trouble doesn't it?" he added with a smirk.

Demyx felt that was the absoulute perfect thing to extract a hint of revenge for what she had done. And it was all of her fault that the situation had gotten out of hand with just a playful battering. Sighing, his footsteps crushed some pebbles that were littered on the ground and he kicked them away with the side of his foot for some reason those pebbles were bothering him. But it wasn't the pebbles, it was Larxene who had upset him so. Trying to let the whole matter go, his curiousity got the best of him when out of the blue, a small dark void appeared and from that ambyss was the same messenger he had sent before. Starring at the dusk that moved from side to side, its slimy silver sheek body moving around he placed his left hand on his hip and asked in an annoyed tone."All right what is so important that you want to bug me about this time?" While listening his cockyiness, melted replacing with dread as he felt sick to his stomach again. "Oh... I got the message. Maybe I'll make this easier on myself and save himself the trouble," conjuring up his void he disappeared with the dusk. Traveling through the Corridors of Darkness, his steps were slow as he emerged from it and appeared at the Altar of Naught, his face with a concerned expression and his hands held together in back of him."I am so busted," he cursed himself. "Boss I got your message and I can explain," he cast his eyes to the ground and shivered imagining what could happen to him.

 

Just as he was about to leave, Demyx came back sooner than Xemnas expected.Might not be bright, but he was quick when intimidated.Now glancing at Demyx, Xemnas turned around and approached him, trying to see through him with his piercing amber eyes.The Nocturne may have meant well, but an order was an order, and it was an order that he refused to follow correctly."..Then explain, explain how you decided to go against my orders and not search the Underworld." his arms at his side, the Superior waited for Demyx' excuses and rants.

With Alphonse around, it would certainly bring more happiness into this dreary place, Roxas had no doubt about it.And he was happy that Xioimara liked her new room.Bigger place, slightly better neighbors, what was NOT to like? "I'm glad you like it..do you have any more questions, or do you want to go out?" he questioned her, entering the room and shutting it behind him.

 

Demyx was not prepared to be dealing with this matter at the condition he was in, but he had no choice. "Well to be honest Superior, I had a moment when memories of my past surfaced and it made me afraid to go there by myself and so then you sent Larxene to go with me since its so dangerous down there." His teeth were beginning to chatter, but he held his fake emotions in check. "So I decided we would go to Hollow Bastion since there would be more people there anyway. All there is in the Underworld are dead souls screeches and big monsters and..." he paused letting his fear get away with him. Inhaling and exhaling once more to calm himself down and not appear weak,he stepped forward keeping his eyes on the Superior. "Well getting to back to what I was saying I... I... I found this warrior who was mumbling something under his breath, but I heard every word of it and I could tell that from what he was saying he was desperate to find work and would be of good use to us so I wanted to test his skills first as a warrior. I decided he should fight Larxene to prove his worth. He questioned me about what kind of work it was, but I didn't tell him and said he would find out after he battled. He seems to handle himself well and has a strong heart, but also has a lot of darkness in it for he seemed bothered about a lot of things. My plan is to gain his trust and use him for the organization's means especially your own."He paused to let this information sink into Xemnas's head. "One more thing, Larxene agreed with my plan after I took her to the side and told her where no one heard us." He didn't want to tell him everything that had happened so it would be a waste to say that Larxene had punched him in the gut and that he twisted her arm and wrist in retailation.

 

Demyx shouldn't feel fear, regardless of memories, but he still did, no point arguing that.Demyx will be Demyx, after all.The story was mainly about this stranger needing to find work, and Demyx had the brilliant idea to recruit him.Could he be serious with this?After it was entirely over, Xemnas narrowed his eyes before closing them."I asked for members..not a hired hand.It seems you cannot comprehend a simple order to search out for those like us.Even Roxas, the youngest out of this group, had successfully found a member..entirely..by accident." he opened his eyes, looking down at Demyx with a mix of disappointment and disgust.

Still..it was a mistake, and with the mention of this warrior's heart could prove more beneficial to the Organization than actually using him.Xemnas saw an opportunity.

"I will allow this to slide..but only if you successfully take that warrior's heart.You yourself have just told me he had a strong heart, but much darkness..correct?" Xemnas turned around and took a couple steps ahead, wishing that Demyx understood these orders perfectly."..With Larxene and any others, defeat that warrior..take his heart..we may gain a Nobody, and add his heart to our goal of getting our own.I am offering you the chance to redeem yourself for the misinterpretation, Demyx..carry out this order without fail, and a need for punishing you will not be necessary any longer...if you fail, you know the highest penalty.Go." he finished.Of course he was going to turn Demyx into a Dusk or Creeper if he disobeyed him or even dared misinterpret this order.

Marluxia walked to his flowers and precious plants, smiling seeing that there fine...and that no one has entered his room. Feeling another presence in the room he frown,how can someone get this far without anyone's attention.With his scythe out he walked further into his garden with a glare, but to his surprise someone indeed is there and with long red hair.

"Who are you and what do you think your doing here?"Maluxia ordered.

Sai looked up slightly startled by marluxia and the fact the he made in one piece to Hollow Bastion.Looking up at a girl with pink hair, sai tiled his head a bit to keep from laughing as marluxia holds his scythe.

"I am sai and I want to join...and you look pretty holding that if your actually a man"Sai said with a smirk.

 

"No. Not that I can think of now." Xioimara said and kept her eye on Alphonse. "Where to?" She asked Roxas. Alphonse had settled himself down in a corner for the moment while Xioimara and Roxas talked. He would never understand the ways of humans. They had such an odd language and so many words too. It was hard for him to understand Xioimara and now that her Heart was gone, he wouldn't be able to sense how she is feeling. If she felt anything. He understood her body language so that was enough for him. His tail thumped against the ground, he felt happier here. Out of that danger trap they used to live in.

This place was so much happier for him. Xioimara and Alphonse never left Twilight Town. He was hoping that this new World would give Xioimara and himself more of a chance to explore. There was always something new to each day.

 

Leon's emotions were mixed with confusion and anger from his friend and the other nobody sabtaging the town's security by destroying the remote. Sure the warrior could fix it, but it may take some time which would mean he would have to go back to the computer center in the center of Radient Garden and reset everything. So that meant that this one nobody had messed up their entire security in the meantime and they would be vulnerable to those dark creatures as well as the heartless or any other enemy of the sorts. "There isn't time to be threatening me, this creature sabtaged our entire security and he needs to pay right now." He pointed to Axel as he starred at Cloud with disbelief. "Cloud, that is a crazy idea, how do you even know if they can be trusted? You do know that they are heart stealer's so what if that is the trade off?" He predicted it. Something did not sound right and the warrior didn't like it.

Axel was getting annnoyed with the whole situation as he had noticed that Demyx was gone and he knew that he was supposed to be in the UnderWorld in the first place. There was tension between them and Larxene that was what his gut instinct had told him, but he would find out later. The voilent act he had witnessed, but kept his silence from seeing Larxene try to slink away. The only thing that made sense to him was that Demyx had disobeyed, but with a dusk being sent out he knew it could be the worst nightmare that any nobody could face. Not wanting to visualize of the other nobody in trouble the flurry eyed Xigbar and whispered to him. "Don't try to stop me, this human is dead," He then confronted Leon not bothering with any introduction and still revealed he blazed toward him and sliced him in the chest without any mercy on his part. No hint and bent on vengence of being electrocuted by a small device had anticipated this kind of act and making this warrior into a heartless was the only thing on his mind as of now. He could feel the surge of pure rage of blood rushing through his body like an adrilene.

 

Demyx, with his head down in shame, only stood as Xemnas gave him the example of how much of an inempt nobody he was. He was only trying to assist and have a very good reason for not going to the Underworld and it wasn't right that he was being disciplined in such a manner, but he knew for a fact there was nothing he could do about it. "It's not right," he said to himself. "I can't help the way I am. I'm afraid of that place," his mind kept telling him as he listened to the rest of Xemnas's conversation. He felt awful that he a higher member had to listen to the words of Roxas the youngest member even find someone that they could use. "My plan is good. I know what I'm doing. I would rather have allies than enemies that could destroy me," he thought to himself once looking up into those orange eyes. He froze when the boss was asking him a question pertaining to the warrior Cloud. "Well I could be wrong. I don't know so much about him except from what I heard. I just know he really needs a job and I thought we could give to him? It would be good to have allies on our side besides our own kind so he has a heart and later on when I get him to trust me we can find more about the heart from him? Why take his heart when we can learn from this guy about what we want to know? He could come in handy against those that threaten our goal right? Demyx heard bits and parts of the conversation as he waited for Xemnas to answer his question. "Don't you think it would work? I mean no disrespect at all Superior, but I just wanted you to hear me out if that is all right? I have ideas too to help out the organization get our goal. Once he is under our control, think of all the countless hearts we will get from him working for us."

Cloud was lost in his thoughts as Leon yelled back at him. Of course he knew what he was doing, but what choice would he have to surive? He needed money and if that was the only way then so be it. No one else wanted to hire him since they knew he was not postive and was like a sign of bad luck that plagued their town. Sephiroth was always after him, never giving him a moment's peace and always wanting to destroy the very likes of him. His influence was affecting Cloud's mind, altering his thoughts, bringing up horrible events that happened in his past, and brought forth the guilt of regrets that would remain with him for his whole life. Cloud felt it was worth a chance to take this challenge not only to improve his fighting skills, hope to gain employment, but as well as have a better mind set. When he least expected something to happen and when he thought matters could not get any worse Axel had sliced Leon in the chest with his chakram. "Leon!" He ran over to attend to his friend. He didn't know why that the nobdy had struck his friend in the chest, but he wasn't going to let Axel get away with it. "You b@*****! He didn't do anything to you!" His sword was ready to to slice him in two, but he attended to Leon's wounds first. Pulling out a exlixer, he uncorked the bottle and had Leon drink it. "That was a cheap and cowardly thing to do," he pointed at Axel staying by his friend to protect him from anyone who would try to hurt him again. "Get lost now! Go back where you came from. Your kind is not wanted here!"

 

Frowning as he approach sai, as he walked their gazes never left each other no flinching,widening,lowering nothing it almost made marluxia want to laugh but he didn't he knew better then to do something foolish as that.

"And you followed me from where?"He said as he stood a few inches from the redhead.

Staring at the man before him he somehow had a smirk on his face which in return caused marluxia's frown to deepen. Shaking his head of the image he just got sai let out a small chuckle, closing his eyes gently he silently let out a sigh and opened them looking at him once again.

"So you've notice huh?, well I been following you since you left Twilight Town...and I must say impressive flower power"Sai said with a smile.

Apparently Demyx didn't get the picture, at all.To further backup his point, Xemnas raised his right hand and formed his Aerial Blade, putting it at Demyx neck, not looking amused at all."Perhaps you did not hear me well enough..I said to go.No matter how much anyone can convince you otherwise, you will never accept anyone's opinion but your very own.Get out of my sight..take his heart..you've got one hour, and if you cannot complete the job, Xaldin will be paying you a visit." he threatened, drawing his blade back and threatening to break the Nocturne's neck if he did not comply with the order and leave.

One word..one single word, and discipline would be in order.Roxas and Axel were bad enough, and now this fool thought he had a feeling such as fear?Blasphemy."Get out of my sight..one hour.." he repeated.

No matter where Demyx ran, and no matter how hard he tried to conceal himself, he'd be found.Xemnas knew..he always knew.

"Well we could go out and I could show you the city outside of this place...or we can go to Twilight Town." The Key suggested to Xioimara, watching Alphonse with a small smile.He loved the puppy already, but it would still be difficult hiding it for long.God forbid Zexion could smell dog.Turning back to her, he remembered one more place they could go to."Or we can go to another place..an island.It's just as relaxing as Twilight Town..what do you think?"

 

Larxene clenched her teeth, gripping her arm quite tightly. the send a small surge of electricity through it to numb the pain. I try not to let it show, and I draw more unwanted attention to myself. now he hates me. A small slice of hurt siered through her stomach. These feelings are fake; yet I feel the insane urge to follow them. what is happening?

 

Leon drunk the vival that instantly healed his wounds. "Good thing for these," he stood up. "Cloud this is my fight. I can deal with this guy," he was determined to face the one who had sliced him and he patted his friend on the shoulder letting him know that he was all right. "You do what you have to do. That was a cheap shot and he's going to pay for that. I refuse you to fight my battles for me Cloud," Leon stepped forward unsheathing his gunblade at Axel. "You wanted a fight so now you got one," he lunged at the fire wielder ripping a small tear of his cloak by his chest with his weapon. His stance was open and he was now on the defensive.

He was expecting the warrior to react so suddendly for he thought he was hurt before, but those miracle drinks had healed him completly. "I should get some of those even if I have to scout this place out," he said to himself. Before he could react, Axel felt his cloak sliced by the weapon and it was an unsettling feeling that a small rip was now present and could be fatal to traveling through the corridors of darkness since the black cloaks protected them. "Damn it. This sucks. Now I have to worry about this," he sighed while glaring at the warrior who was prepared to fight. "You should of not eletrocuted me with your toy so you had it coming." Turning his attention to Cloud, he gripped his chakrams tighter. "I hope Larxene kills you cocky son of a b****!"
