A Life to Lead ^_^

(OOC: Cloud has keen senses and she is near him. That's why it makes sense. He's the lighter half of Sephiroth after all.)

Cloud's eyes wandered around and he began to walk around the town, his instincts telling him of something good or bad was going to happen. With the Turks it was the latter. Brandishing his sword, he kept it by his side and listened for any other information, and his eyes glanced in every direction. He was completly on his guard. "Come out!" He called.

Demyx was amazed by her knowledge of music. This was a side of her that he liked. She had actually taken notice of his performance and even helped him out. "So it was you! I didn't know you took a interest," he felt some what uncomfortable with talking to the one that had hurt him severely before, but she did aide him in her own way. He watched her foot and almost became cross eyed until he shook his head. "How have you been?" He asked in a quiet tone wanting to begin a conversation and hoping he wasn't boring her. He walked closer to her, his element sencing her own as it sparked between them having his azure eyes being drawn to hers. He remembered the other man Reno she was with, but he decided not to mention that guy at all. He didn't know what was going on, but in his mind it was just pleasant talking to her again without getting hurt again.

 

Larxene looked at The Nocturne with a slight fascination. So, he was comfortable now without his bodyguard? Hmm. Now might be a chance to spread her thoughts.
"Cut the small talk, Demyx." She answered, her voice turning a tad sharper to her previous tone applied. "...You're a lucky boy, you know that, right?" With her left arm folded across her abdomen, she took her right arm and stretched it out towards the floor. With her fingers extended, she let minor sparks fly from her fingers as her eyes narrowed in a small phase of anger. "The way you presented yourself when in the Alley a few days back.. You are lucky I didn't tear you and cloud to pieces. I am not for one moment exaggerating on that fact." Looking back up at Demyx, her eyes met his again. "I was actually willing to break the promise. I was seriously going to injure you... But for once, I thought about someone else." With a sigh, she licked her lips and continued talking. "I thought that, if a fight would have errupted, Reno would have been hurt. I didn't want that and left."
With a shrug, she let her hands dangled at her waist. "I'm telling you how it is, of course, and that's why what happened, happened... Other than that.. I would say that I'm okay."
Once finished, The Nymph cleared her throat and placed her hands on her hips in the confident fashion as always.
"So, Demyx, how are you?"

 

Continuing to ignore that bullcrap, Elena traveled further and further away, ignoring any more bullcrap she received.
"Hey ..turns out one of them with red hair uses fire as an element ..just wanted to fill you in on that.."she told Tseng through the phone before he gave his thanks.Shutting the phone, Elena looked around, deciding to user her 'keen' senses to seek out Reno if he was around.Sure enough, using her 'supersonic' hearing, she found Reno by hearing his footsteps using her 'keen supersonic' senses.Finding him, Elena ran to his side, noticing the bottle in his hands."Where have you been ..and where's Rude?"

"Hell if I know ..probably back at the bar we went to ..I've just been doing some thinking." Reno responded, opening the bottle and holding it towards her.He'd call Larxene momentarily, but for now it would do good for him and Elena to talk."Care to make patrol interesting?"

"...You never take work seriously at all, do you?"

"Damn right I don't ..did you hear that crappy music earlier?..If I had a gun like you did I would have put a bullet through my head." taking turns drinking, the two began chatting for a while as they walked the streets of Hollow Bastion.

 

His smile was small and he was nervous especially at the point of interest he had discovered about her when she showed how upset she really was and he stepped back, cringing at how aggressive she was being. " I uh..." and when he was about to say something, his words did not come out of his mouth for he was focused on the sparks. He finally spoke when she had finished. "Well I'm confused in what you see in that guy and I don't know why you were going to hurt me like you did before? Larxene why?" He uttered and rose his arms up in defeat. "Why are you being this way?" He walked up to her and touched her shoulder, his cool touch sending some currents of electricity through him a tiny bit. "I mean the guy is human and well... he's not on our side. In the end he'll have to listen to his boss if he has one and remember he has a heart and we can't feel stuff as humans do." He held her hand now, his orbs now sincere as he wanted to know what had happened between them.

Cloud continued walking along the streets of Hollow Bastion and he heard two of the turks talking amongst themselves. Just wonderful his suspisions were realized. He knew exactly who the female Reno was with and it the resemblance she had to Larxene. "Great," he muttered under his breath. What the hell were they doing in Hollow Bastion for?

 

(OOC: I"ll take Roxas since Asterisk doesn't want him anymore. He is welcome to have him back anytime. Anway before I have to add this for the Sora rper.)


The double of Sora parried his mirror's self move and laughed in a dark tone as he spung his key blade around as if it was in fact a sword. "You are the one who created me, but as of now my goal is to kill you," it muttered with a dark smirk. He jumped and twirled in the air landing on his feet as he scaped the glass flooring with the keyblade he had. Concentrating deeply he released an fire spell on its actual self.

Leon followed Cloud as well as with his last encounter he didn't want to be left alone. Especially if he might run into Axel. He was a bit curious that Cloud had detected some other Turk, but he thought maybe Cloud had too much on his mind right now. He had heard of them, through talks that Cid had given on the Turks, but the brunette himself only had recognized the name Reno the others though he was oblivious towards. "Cloud, who are we looking for?" He asked his friend.


A heartless had ployed right into him as the young keyblade wielder dashed out of the way from certain doom. He knew it was a mistake to leave Xion unattended, but it wasn't his fault that he was dragged out of bed by an flying heartless. The worst thing was that he was still in his sleep clothes. A zig zagged t-shirt with sweats. Luckily for him he wasn't wearing the organization outfit. "You want a piece of me?" Roxas smirked as he held his keyblade swiftly in his hand as if taunting the heartless. The heartless seem hesitant for a moment, but then decided to try its luck. "Bad move," he swung at it and right after contact made it disappear as of course a heart had resurfaced from it. Completely satisfied he started to head back towards the house in Hallow Bastion which he resided at.

 

Larxene twisted her arm in an instant retaliation to Demyx's actions towards her. She now had hold of his wrist, as she looked straight up at the Nocturne. "..Don't, Demyx..." She muttered, shaking her head slowly. With a small sigh, she slowly removed her hand from his and wiggled her fingers about.
"That is one of the most frequently asked questions... One of which, I cannot provide an answer to. You changed when Cloud came here, you acted superior to your own abilities. As for Me and Reno... I can't answer that question. It's strange when I am around him, as I have such a strange mixture of phantom emotions boiling inside, and for once, it isn't being released as pure aggression or intimidation."
She looked at ther glove and swallowed again, then looked back up.
"...Do you understand what I mean?"

 

Cloud took notice of his friend and continued on his way. Turning his neck to the side he acknowledged him. "I'm looking for any of the Turks that I sensed."


He shook his hand, the one that she had grabbed and then released. It was true just as he had feared. She wanted nothing to do with him right now. Sighing heavily, he bit the inside of his lower gum and felt dizzy that the current was traveling faster in his body. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to have touched her after all. "No I don't and you're the one who has changed ever since you struck me for no good reason either. Cloud retailated because of what you did and he had a good reason to. He doesn't like seeing others get hurt or in pain like I don't like. Larxene, I thought you and I are were getting along well until what you did and still don't know why you had to do that. Don't you even care about me at all anymore? Silly question we can't care, but at least you acted like it or was it all to hurt me in the end?" He was the verge of nearly breaking down, but still remained strong in the end for her.

 

"Spare me the sob-story." Larxene retorted. "This is all an attempt to make me admit what we both know is true, so just leave your stupid questions." With a shake of her head, she crossed her arms again and looked away. "Would I have kept the promise for this long? huh? Do you really think that I would go through all the trouble of holding myself back from tearing you apart, if I didn't Care!?"
With a slight groan, she brought her fingers to her temples, more static filling the air around her. Was he really trying to push her?

 

Demyx glanced at her and then looked away himself. He really needed to be careful of what he said he would find himself her newest electrical rod. "So you do care, but I still want to know why you hurt me? No one likes to feel pain Larxene especially me, but if that is what you want for us to get along then by all means do as you wish." He held both of his hands up and shook his head not believing he had just said that. "I just can't take it anymore the bickering between us and I want us to get along peacefully, but can we at least... um...." he couldn't say what he wanted to speak from his mind. How he wanted to be with her since she still had an effect on him, but she had hurt him and it was hard to forgive. If she had been hurt seriously, she would of never even thought about accepting forgiveness, but Demyx was different for he always saw the good in everyone no matter how rotten they seemed. "Can we at least..." his throat was now dry and he swallowed like he had a huge luimp there. "I can't say it. You'll refuse." He played with his fingers, his back to her.

 

Aerith opened her eyes slowly, then pulled herself into a sitting position, groaning slightly. She rubbed her temples, feeling a headache come on, then listened, both with her ears and mind. No one near was hurt, but no one was close besides Xion. Then again, her powers had dwindled for now. Tifa must have gone after Cloud...she sighed, then tried to pull herself off the couch, only to sink back down. Maybe she had put too much in..but it had been worth it, and it would be worth it, to make sure Xion was alright.

Xion pressed her face into the pillow so only her eyes were visible. She listened to Aerith, realizing she was awake. Her stomach turned, and she mentally told it to hush, still listening. If she was such a burden, why did she stick around? Why did she put everyone, including her own baby, at risk? She buried her head into the pillow, crying silently. Another stage.

Tifa ducked a heartless, then punched it, making it disappear. She sighed, then slumped against a wall. She had lost Cloud's trail long ago, but didn't want to go back to Aerith empty handed. Her mind whirled, and she sighed again. She was never as good at tracking as Cloud had been.

 

"..Hold on a sec ..I need to make sure she's all right.." Reno and Elena came to a stop outside of Scrooge's Ice Cream shop.Reno handed the nearly empty bottle to Elena and dug in his inside suit pocket, pulling out his own cell phone.Flipping it open, Reno went down the list of numbers.Luckily, Rude had told him Larxene's number before entering the bar.Now it was programmed onto his phone, and he could call her anytime he wished.He pressed 'call' and watched as it began trying to reach Larxene.He placed the device to his ear and put the free hand in his pocket as he leaned against the wall next to the shop.Hopefully Larxene was available ..a nice dinner sounded good for them.

Elena nodded, not minding Reno calling his girlfriend in the slightest. She still had to apologize ..as hard as it would be.Swishing the alchoholic liquid around in the bottle, Elena placed it to her lips and took a small sip of it.At least Reno was smart enough to pick a weak drink to take with him.

 

With her mouth open and ready to speak, Larxene stopped. A muffled ringing could be heard from the inside of her jacket. Wow. What a moment spoiler. How timing could ruin everything.
"oh shi-hello?" She answered, zipping her cloak back up to it's original spot. "Reno..? Hi, what're you ringing for? Kinda a bad moment to call..." Glancing up at Demyx, she swiftly looked back at the floor again after clearing her throat.

Axel sighed as he rubbed his hands against the moutain wall. He then punched it hard having two spying heartless come tumbling down. The place was very familar to him, but he wondered why he was still here to begin with. With his chakrams still out he slashed at the creatures and watched them fade into nothingness. His mind was else where, though he had no idea where to go from there. A few of his assassins had showed up and he cringed when he heard some news that seem disatisfying to him. "Go interefere then," He told them, but his voice more cold than before. He was plainly getting sick of being ignored by the lightning nobody. Not even giving him the time of day, but somehow always ended up to find Demyx. What was he chop liver? She came back and didn't even tell him. Yet he kept her secret. He placed his hand over his face and looked down at the ground as with disinterest before putting it up again. "Demyx is at it again. That player. Man, why can't he leave Larxene alone....Wait a mintute? She is back in Hallow Bastion then that must mean that Reno may be with her." He could go after them, but then they might think that he was spying on them. No, he couldn't do that. Making a decision he put his weapons away and looked out in the distance of Hallow Bastion.

Else where the assassins were silently watching Demyx and Larxene and wondered what else may happen. They knew it wasn't time for child's play, but still they were ordered to just observe and only attack if threatened. They had sensed all kinds of people, but decided to leave them alone for now.


Roxas soon made it back towards the house where he quickly went to Xion's side. "I am sorry that I left, but I was dragged away by some heartless," He apologized to her. "I didn't mean to abandon you," He sighed as he tried to make the tears from her eyes go away by laying beside her.

 

Xion shook her head and brushed the tears away, smiling a little at him. "It's fine." she murmured, sitting up slowly. "Aerith made me all better, but she isn't...." she shook her head, then hugged him. "I'm glad you're okay."

 

OOC: Thanks! Now I can move this along.
"You're lying!" Sora yelled as he cast Reflega, "My heart could never create something as dark as you!" Sora could taste sweat in his mouth, a result of his anger and rage. The splashback effect of his Reflega seemed to stun the lookalike. Sora noticed something unusual though. As he brought his hand to wipe his brow, a short, dark wisp of energy. And then it was gone.

"What? What did you do!" Sora yelled, surprising himself, "Or... was it me? My Antiform has been becoming more and more frequent. What if... what if I'm becoming like Riku? Or Cloud. I... I don't want to give in!" Sora yelled that final sentence at the top of his lungs, hearing it echo through the shadowy realm.

 

Roxas sighed in relief as he was glad that Xion was okay. "Are you sure that everything is okay?" He asked with concern. Even though he had no heart he still could express his emotions. He had no idea that some other people were mad at him, but Xion was his priority. He rose his hand and placed it around her waist as he hugged her back. "I am fine," He admitted.

 

The tension had defintely changed and Demyx didn't think Larxene would ever have a cell phone on her. How did she get that anyway? His eyes narrowed when he heard her mention the guy's name who would soon become the newest addition to the heart in the sky in the World That Never Was. So now Reno thought he could call her any damn well time he pleased huh? Not if the nocturne had anything to do about it.

Edit:

Seizing the cell phone from her hand when she had her head down to the ground, he hit the disconnect button and thought about something that occured in his mind. In his thoughts he imagined, the phone sizzling from the water striking it having it short circuit and explode. With the pieces now on the ground, he stomped his foot on them. It wasn't until then he brought his mind make to his senses and did something else instead.

Taking out an extra notecard from his pocket, it had one of the rules inscribed on it as sent forth from the nobody manual that Xemnas strongly forced his minions to go by. This was written down for Demyx's own purpose as he was one to forget and it was ironic that he would be giving her this very card though a copy of it that was given to him before. "The boss forbids any human devices Larxene. If he saw you with that, you would sure have to do a lot of talking and kissing up to save your self from his wrath. I just did you a favor by warning you of what could happen and saved you from a certain fate, a fate as a dusk or nothing at all." He tossed her the copy and kept the one he held on for himself. "I don't want to see you get killed Larxene. Take my advice and get rid of that phone before you're caught with it and you have to face the wrath of our boss. Do you really what that? I think not."

Ragingwaters was watching and listening to her master's whole conversation and what juicy information she would have to report back to Xemnas with. Making a void, she disappeared out of sight and was back in the castle in the World That Never Was locating Xemnas's presence.

Elsewhere Cloud was picking up on Reno's presence as well as another Turk. He wasn't going to just approach them for they may see that as a threat. He waited for the right moment, not knowing that Aerith was getting weaker while he was away.

 

OOC: Time is in some trouble at home and won't be posting for a week or less unless things are fixed. She also said that 'throwing the phone away' won't fly with her, which I agree with.Got a problem with it, you talk to her.

Reno tapped his foot patiently as the dial tone continued.He knew someone was interfering with her phone calls for a bullcrap reason, so he'd wait and see if she answered. If not, he'd merely search around town.Wasn't hard ..he had eyes in a few places.The Turks can get things done with ease as long as they worked together."Isn't picking up ..I'm gonna need to search for her soon.." he told Elena, waiting to leave a message at least.

Elena nodded, puzzled.Of all times to be busy ..Reno and her split apart merely an hour or so ago, and now she was unreachable.Maybe ..she wasn't in this world anymore.

 

Sora's clone only laughed as it saw how the hero was becoming more panicked if anything. It was priceless if anything to see him act this way. "What's wrong? Don't you know this is your fate? Don't worry it won't hurt much," It answered as it plummeted the keyblade down and was going to hit Sora in the ribs with it.

 

Xion nodded. "I still feel sick and dizzy, but I felt like that before." she murmured, closing her eyes. "I'm glad you're okay, I should be able to fight with you." she sighed. "Just another day or so and I'll be back to normal for a bit."

Tifa darted out into the street, touching Cloud's shoulder gently. "Cloud?" she needed to tell him, when a sudden flash of thought occured. How had she not thought of this? She grabbed his shoulder harder. "Cloud!"
