A Life to Lead ^_^

Xion smiled, turning and hugging him gently, careful not to put any pressure on her stomach. "You had doubts?" she teased, wincing as her head pounded slightly. She touched his face gently. "Don't be worried. I'm fine, really. First time's always the hardest." she smiled gently, trying to ease his worries despite her ragged appearance.

 

"It was stupid." Larxene sighed, closing her eyes to remember her dream again. "I was drowning... or, asphyxiating, rather, from the lack of air present where my dream was situated. I was gaspig for air, but it wouldn't come at all. It was vacuumed out of me rather than being sucked into my lungs, and it was starting to burn at one point. I eventually got desperate for a release from this pitch black hell I was in, and I screamed. When my silent scream seemed to echo, cracks in the black surface above me cracked, and I woke up.
Looking back up at Reno, The Nymph smirked. This really was stupid, afterall. Soon, she giggled, and nudged Reno playfully.
"Enough of my embarrassing idiocy. I suppose we had better get off this beach."

 

"Still, you should get some rest ..you aren't feeling well." Roxas said softly, taking the hand on his face in his own and giving it a gentle squeeze.He didn't want to see Xion up and about when she was in so much pain.He now regret spending so much time in Twilight Town without her in his sight, but money was something they needed. On top of all this, he hadn't really spoken with Axel int he past few days.He hoped his best friend was okay.He couldn't always run and find him like usual, since he now had other concerns to take care of.Xion was confirmed for pregnancy and he couldn't just run out and leave her, especially with how frail she was now.

..Heavy dream. Reno took both of Larxene's hands and pulled himself up, taking her with him.He cracked his neck and stretched, getting used to moving ater such a long sit in the sand."Wanna go for a walk then?" he asked her, taking her hands once more.

 

Xion smiled, her blue eyes content. "I will, in a bit. I need to stretch my legs." Her eyes closed for a second, then opened again. "You did what you needed to, for us." she added, quieter. "Aerith is here, and Demyx. I'm well looked after." Her smile became slightly strained as her stomach turned again, but she controled it, then sighed. "This one's a fighter..." she murmured. "Do what you need to, Roxas. I'm fine here."

 

Larxene smiled, and walked past Reno and down the stretch of sand that snaked along the sea shore. If he wanted to walk, then he would have to keep up, wouldn't he?
Walking ahead, she awaited the return of her red-headed 'boyfriend'. He had probably tripped up or something... or got bitten by a crab.
Now that would be hillarious.

Turning, she looked back at Reno.
"Come on then, or am I going to fast? You like it slow?" she asked with a giggle.

 

Behind Larxene, a dark portal opened up. Out from the void came number XV, Gex. Something was diffrent about him however. His eyes were cold, just like they were a few days ago, during his fight with the blond. Standing tall and cold, he seemed to mimick the superior, but lacked the sense of power.

"Larxene..." Gex tried to get her attention.

Being the gentlemen that he was, Reno allowed Larxene to move ahead, but as she passed by his attention flew from the top and went down towards the bottom ..or 'her' bottom, shall we say.As she walked on, Reno licked his lips and hummed under his breath, just using his imagination to fill in the rest.She was dead gorgeous in a bikini, and was likely even better without it.It was when she looked around that he straightened up and tore his eyes from her trunk, filled with junk."..Fast and Slow?..my choice?" a smile curled on his lips at the thought.He could have her any way he wanted,eh?

Taking the time to move towards her, Reno slipped his arms around her, holding her closely be the waist."How about..cruise control?" he joked, bringing his lips back to hers and kissing her for a few moments.He would always find that his heart skipped a beat when he did this.

"Your my responsibility above anything else ..me and Demyx still don't click properly, and Axel ..he'll come back, I know he will." Roxas brought his hands to her shoulders. If it came down to it, he'd have to seek out Axel and bring him back.He was one of the very, VERY few people who were truly welcome in this house

 

Larxene returned the deep kiss, only to cut it short. She had heard his voice, and she could smell his dusty scent, but there was something about the masochist that was off slightly.
How annoying. She had been interrupted when actually feeling a slight flicker of happiness burn inside, and only for that light to be extinguished by the raincloud that is Gex, and how he reminded her of where she should be right now.
"What are you doing here?" she demanded, now fully turned and looking at Gex in his eyes. "I asked not to be disturbed. Now you had better have either, a good explanation, or some damn fine legs to run on." With another piercing glare, she finished her threat by folding her arms across her chest.
"I'm waiting."

Gex bared the glare with his head bowed. There she was with that attitude of hers. If she keeps this up, she may actually follow through with one of her threats.

"My apologies number XII, but there has been a development as of late. On request of the superior, I have been jumping from world to world in order to find you. There is some killing to be done."

 

Reno titled his head to the side as the exchange of words between the two went down.The guy looked creepy ..and he smelled like a dead corpse almost, it just flickered across his nose and smelled rotting, off. Did this man ever brush his teeth? Despite the possibility of hygiene issues, he was now thrown off due to the request by that Superior ..what was his name, Xemnass?

Eh, who gave a damn anyhow?

"...." he waited to see Larxene answer.

 

"Oh, I know that there is some killing to be done here, and it sure is gonna involve you and I." Still, Larxene glared at Gex. She wanted peace. Peace and quiet. Nothing more, nothing less.
"Do the killing yourself." she retorted, her eyes narrowing. How dare he try and take her away from her haven. "Now go. Before I go too far and hurt you severely." taking one step forward, away from Reno, The Nymph stretched out her fingers, smaking a low cracking noise as her joints made the adjustments from her previously made fists, to her claw like hands, hooked at her waist. "I want to be left alone, Gex. Now go. I will come back when ready."

 

"These are the superior's words, not mine Larxene. I am merely the messenger, any other complaints can be filed with the superior."

Walking backwards, Gex slowly reentered the portal he arrived in.

"I shall do it myself. One more step to the wish of all of you. Till then miss."

Without another word, the portal closed, sealing the haven from the outside world once again.

She used Roxas for support, her head spinning. "I wish you two could get along." she whispered, but smiled. "If Axel doesn't come back, you still have to go get him, okay? I'm perfectly safe here." She looked up at him, or tried to. "Can we go sit down?"

 

OOC: Will wait for time's next post before Reno again.

"Of course ..the bed? Demyx is taking up the couch." Roxas brought an arm around her and carefully eased her out of the bathroom, not wanting to make her pains any worse.He felt helpless in this situation.He wanted to make her feel better ..but he didn't know what he could do."Xion...if I knew you'd be in so much pain then .." he mumbled.He wouldn't dare wish the baby away ..but this pregnancy was causing her all this pain.

 

Xion smiled up at him, her eyes world weary. "I'm fine." she said comfortingly. "It could be a lot worse, and it'll be over in a few days. Then I'll just be tired." she made a face, then grimaced. "And don't regret it." she whispered, leaning heavily on him.

 

Taking the bed as her choice, Roxas brought an arm around her and continued down the hall, heading to her bedroom ..or rather the bedroom they now shared.He smiled softly at her.He would do his best not to regret it ..but he dearly hoped she'd live to be a mother and not just be a mother to give birth to it."..It's never been done before ..with Nobodies. I hope there won't be anything wrong with either of you." Roxas brought his free hand to her lower stomach, something he found himself doing a lot lately.

 

Xion smiled, then looked up at him, wincing slightly as her stomach jolted. "Even if I did die, you would be fine." she murmured, her long lashes sweeping downward as she watched her step. "The baby will be healthy, no matter what." she continued, then placing a hand over his, smiling.

 

As he entered the bedroom, Roxas took careful care into setting her gently on her side of the bed, making sure her pillows were fluff and comfy."..Xion..I can't do this without you..our baby needs a mom, and that's you .." he said, expression sad.He didn't know what to do without her ..she was too wonderful to die so young ..and the baby would never know her if she died.

 

She leaned back, closing her eyes to fight off both weariness and dizziness. "Don't think I'll leave so easy." she murmured, smiling. "I'll fight to the bitter end, Roxas. I promise." she opened her eyes, then touched his face gently and smiled. "It'll be fine."

 

With her eyes closed, The Nymph nodded at the closed portal, and the dusty scent that the nobody left befind slowly began to fade away. Gex could be such a sweet bag of bones at times, but now was not the time for a disruption.
Turning, Larxene looked at Reno with the same irritated look; she couldn't manage to let the fact that he had found her here go just yet.
"Sorry about that..." She sighed, one hand motioning backwards towards where Gexlion once stood. "That was Gexlion. Him and I are very good friends... He always used to talk to me about things, but I get irritated too easily when it comes to interruptions." Letting her hands entwine with his, she averted her blue eyes to the sand they stood on.
"I'm not ready to go back yet. We still have a lot of things to do. I hardly know you, for christs' sake."
