A Life to Lead ^_^

She turned from Demyx and smiled at him, her blue eyes warm. "A little bit. Don't worry, it was enough." she didn't add the rest, about why she couldn't sleep. "You slept okay?" she asked, worried that she had kept him up in some way.

 

(OOC: Asterisk stop repeating some lines of your post for the third time now. That's considered a mark in my book and will not be tolerated. Please edit especially the boyfriend part. >_<)

Eyes now alert upon hearing such a distress call, he whipped his head around completly forgetting Reno and the others at this time. He was worried about her after all. "Xion? Save your breath. It's okay I'm here," he scooped her small body up and held her in his arms not even noticing or hearing Roxas for he was concerned about her. Glaring at Larxene, he felt she was the one that had done something even though she remained silent the whole time except that comment about killing Cloud. Softening his expression, he asked in a quiet tone. "What do you need?" His eyes were wide as his bottom lip quivered for he felt something was wrong himself, but he didn't know what.

Whatever Reno, Axel or Larxene had to say it would have to wait. He was starrtled by this sudden need for help and he would be there like Zack had promised him to be. He would watch over her and Demyx and make his friend proud. "We should take her back to the house." He was concerned of Aerith seeing this display and didn't want her to get worse. Picking the braided hair woman in his arms, he held her like a protective boyfriend doing what it took to keep her safe.

 

"Yeah..I got some rest ..it probably would've been better if you were beside me most of the time." Roxas smiled at her, then took notice of Reno and Larxene prepared to fight Cloud.Then he looked at Axel and Demyx ...did Vexen clone Axel?

"Hey, you with the red hair ..what's your name?"

Looking over his shoulder at Roxas, Reno responded with a grin. "I'm Reno ..and the blond guy over hear is getting violent ..you might wanna watch out,y'know?"

Roxas grinned"Thanks for the warning ..I'm Roxas by the way."

"Roxas, huh?..not a bad name at all." Reno complimented him.Oddly enough, the teenager handled lack of sleep better than the grown men here. Funny."Nevermind, looks like the guy has some much needed 'gettin' some' to do.."

Roxas held back a laugh at that, not caring if Demyx wanted to hold Xion like she was a baby.

She held her chest, her eyes wide. "Something...something's coming. Please....It wants..." all she could do was point at her chest. She could feel that whatever it was, it wanted hearts. Aerith's and Cloud's were strong enough, and there was someone else nearby. She smiled, her eyes opening.

Aerith looked up at Cloud, then smiled gently. "Do you remember?" she asked, lightly pressing her palm to his cheek. "Do you remember the creatures that destroyed our world? So long ago? You thought you lost her."

 

(OOC: Whatever, Cloud would beat Reno any day of the week. My characters? No how about the characters I control in the rpg on this forum. They are Nomura's characters. I'm sick of warning you to watch what you put especially about the boyfriend stuff. They are not that way, just friends geez... Pedo? What the hell? It doesn't make any sense and get your head out of the gutter. I'm sure others would appreciate that. If you have a problem or want to rant and rave about something you don't like then pm me and it's the last time I'm saying this otherwise other actions will be considered.)

"It wants? What?" He didn't understand what she was saying at all. He was getting more confused then ever. The only reason he had picked her up because it sounded like she was out of breath and he was going to take her back to the house. Now noticing Roxas after he heard him talking to her, he began to walk away with her. "You need to rest so I'm taking you back. I don't know what you're talking about though. All I know is you don't need to see anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable," he was referring to Larxene. Ignoring the others, he stepped back into the house and layed her on the couch sitting next to her.

"Yes... yes I do." He followed wanting to be away from Reno, the one who almost made him get into battle. Reno just needed to grow the hell up and if he had got his heart taken by Larxene or Axel then it would serve him right.

 

Xion trembled with nervous energy, her blue eyes turning fever bright. "I don't know how it got here, but we have to-" she cringed, covering her ears. She coudl hear the screaming now.

Aerith looked up at Xion, her green eyes worried, then back at Cloud. "Go down the street, and take a right." she directed. "You'll find her." She smiled, then gently patted his cheek. "I know you'll come back." she murmured, green sparks coming off her finger tips.

Axel stayed completely silent though he was terribly hurt that Demyx would think of him that as a murderous monster. He had nothing else to say, but the musician was wrong. Axel loved to fight and it was driven in his blood and spirit, but yes he had a temper. It wasn't his fault nor could he help it. Though he was pretty perturbed when Demyx ignored him and ran off. Also with his new friend trailing on behind him. What had happened to Demyx? He was never to side on a human's side, but now he is belieivng everything and taking Cloud's side on everything. It was annoying and irrtating to the flurry of dancing flames. It was another reason why he hated that contact in the first place and grossly detested that Xenmas had agreed to it. However, Axel didn't promise to not harm anyone, nor did he sign the contract. Leon did. If only he could kill Cloud, but then most likely a nobody would reside then the pryro would be in more of a nightmare. No, it wasn't worth it. He thought it was very rude for Demyx to leave like that. There was nothing he could do about it now though. He eyed Roxas and gave him an look of skeptical as he wondered how long he was standing there. The target blaming had finally shifted, but he wanted to say what he needed to say to Demyx, but now was not the time since Xion needed attention. Being selfish wasn't a judgment on his part no matter how wrong he thought Demyx was about, but if he thought that way then he really didn't know how. Axel didn't kill for sport, but yet he loved to make people suffer to a certain time if he felt they deserved it. It wasn't his fault that many humans needed to be ridded off the earth. He secretly wished that Demyx never met Cloud. Doing his best to calm down the flurry looked at Roxas. "You should keep an eye on Xion," he told him though he held back in anger and fury coursing through his veins for the mullet haired nobody and the older blonde warrior. He wondered what Reno thought of all of this? "It is true that Larxene did in fact fight Cloud, and unfortantly lost to him," He muttered.

Larxene shook her head, growling slightly as her kunai faded from her knuckles. How could one nobody change so damn much? And as for Cloud.. What a hypocrite. Bad mouthing the ones who, for one, were higher than him, secondly, could kill him there and then, and thirdly, were in the same organisation of which he was expression such bad taste for. All of a sudden, both him and Demyx seemed to be betraying them, but in a discreet way. They were slowly unsticking themselves from the organisation and all they stood for.

Looking at Axel, They Nymph seen the portrayal of what she felt in his eyes. So she wasn't the only one thinking similar to this about the two.
Responding to the Flurry's comments on what was a terrible moment for her completely, she nodded in agreement. "That will never happen again; as of tonight, I am finished with holding back for the likes of an over-emotional wreck who uses a mere ex-warrior or whatever to defend him. What a fool that man was to mess with us. Who does he think he is? Does it register in his mind that we are two of the greatest fighters of the organisation?" Shaking her head again, she leant back against the cold wall behind her. Her eyes closed, imagining such a world where none of this idiotic rubbish was to occur.

Aerith walked in after Xion, thinking. Tifa was moving quickly, as if trying to avoid detection. That was odd in and of itself, but what made it even weirder was the fact that she seemed to be lower in energy. That would mean she was wounded, but she hadn't been fighting. She sighed. Tifa would be alright, and Cloud would find her, eventually. She had to stay with Xion.

Murmuring to herself, Xion slowly closed her eyes, feeling exhaustion wash over her. She knew it was coming, but...when? It had just disappeared again, after she had told them, taking that weird feeling along with it. The only thing she could think of was the strange young woman she had sensed earlier. That person had ties to Aerith and Cloud, strong ones, and small ones to Sora.

"Ta ta Cloud ..have fun." Reno waved playfully as Cloud carried his little excuse to drop the fight away.Finally both of the loud mouths were gone, and he and the others could get back to their lives.Placing his hands on both ends of his Rod, Reno forced the weapon to extend back to the very base, having it grow smaller and able to be contained within his suit.He slipped the weapon back in the suit and turned around to face Larxene, Axel and Roxas. "Well, glad that that's over ...Larxene, you feelin' all right? I'm all ears if you need to scream." he shrugged, rather hearing a rant than a whiny little emo kid or some geek with a sitar.

"And hear Demyx tell me off, or talk period? Yeah right ..If Demyx wants to help so much then he can coddle her for a while.." Roxas protested. Honestly, it was three in the morning, he was tired, cold, and didn't want to hear anything about 'you should be keeping a close eye on her' or 'why weren't you there with her'.He wasn't going to have it, not this early in the morning.He wanted to be part of the family, then he could carry her away from him all the time then and be a selfish jerk about it.It didn't matter to him.

Larxene thought for a moment in a screamingly deafening silence. This was not the place for her to be... It wasn't right. Cloud was slowly becoming a higher rank, the Demyx she once knew had changed, and life was as confusing as ever in the castle. This certainly wasn't a life to lead...

Opening her eyes in realisation, she looked at Reno. He was her ticket out of here... He was the one willing to listen, care and look after her. He was the one supplying that attention rather than being an over-emotional, antagonistic prick.
Grabbing the red-head by the hand, she looked him in his eyes. "I have to get out of here..." she muttered, analysing his expression.
Axel? What about him?
Turning towards the flurry, she swallowed and shook her head, taking a deep inhale of air to supply her words forming on her tongue.
"I'm taking a break, Axel. I can't bare to be around them anymore. I'll be at Destiny Islands... Do me a favour, will you? Don't tell dumb and dumber where I am. I don't fancy having to put up with them."

Islands? Now that was sounding pretty nice right about now.The warm sandy beach, the sun shining down on you, the clear blue skies. Peace ..and quiet.Now THAT was a destination he wanted to get to more than anything.That incident with the overemotional pair had racked his nerves and caused his entire attitude to grow too serious.And being serious was only something he did in serious situations ..weren't many of those, now were they? Still, it was a change, having contact with her like this, even if it was small.And the best part was that she made the move to grab his hand ..maybe this wasn't so one-sided after all.

It was nice seeing that she needed to talk with him ..maybe he could really help her.

Turning his attention to Axel as well now, Reno decided to say something before he left as well."I'm going with her, apparently.Don't worry ..I'll take care of her, so you've got nothing to worry about.My hands are clean." he raised his free hand and grinned.

Larxene listened to the waves, sighing as her skin began to tingle from the sun. Her exposed skin from where her cloak used to be wasn't used to such rays hitting it, especially at the intensity it was at today.
The sounds of the waves made her body relax a great deal. She didn't like water, but the sound of it relaxed her.
It had been three days now, and she was yet to have a proper conversation with Reno.. Perhaps now would be a good chance?
Perhaps..
"Thankyou for coming with me." she mumbled, opening one eye below the sunglasses she managed to get from her detour into Twilight Town, along with her swim suit and towels. "It's appreciated."

 

Over the past few days Reno had gotten to know this woman, Larxene, much better than before.He understood her troubles, her annoyance and agony with living under the same roof with people like this 'Demyx' character. And ..she didn't have a heart.She was this being called a 'Nobody' ..it was stunning at first, but he placed his head on her chest afterwards to confirmed.As afraid as she might've been, nothing changed between them.

He knew of her job ..what she had to do under orders of that Xemnas guy.And honestly ..he wanted to take her away from all of that, Axel and Roxas too if he could do it.

But for now, he rested on the sandy beach beside her,resting back on a scarlet towel of his own.Red swim trunks, of course, and a toned bare chest exposed to the world.He was right beside her, finally alone ..and here she was, finally making an attempt to have a conversation that wasn't a rant.That was new."You think I'd leave you hanging like that?..it's nothing ..besides, this more than makes up for any trouble." he was supposedly talking about the beach, but from time to time he took a small peek over at her.Now that was something he'd like to take home and cuddle with.

 

"I think you might be the only one I know at the moment, who would trust me enough to be alone with me." Larxene mumbled in reply, chuckling slightly as she closed her eyes again. What an odd situation. She was with someone she didn't want to slaughter, and finally lost the need to take a violent approach to things.
Yes, she may have screamed, thrown things around, and possibly said some things she shouldn't have in the past couple of days, but Reno didn't seem phased at all by her actions at all. Hell, it seemed to take an opposite effect..
Every now and then, The Nymph would glance over at the red-head, and catch him take a glimpse of her.
Now, if that were one of those guys at the castle.. She would have torn their eyes out. But after all this, she guessed she owed him something. With him being normal...sorta...He would at least have the memories of what she looked like, when this is all over.
..When this is all over? Does it have to end?
Turning her head again towards the TURK, a small smile curved around her lips. "..you do trust me, right?"

 

"It's not like people take the chance to know you ..especially a certain ****** I know." obviously he meant Cloud, the one who had passed judgment on Larxene three days ago, calling her foul names and words without actually sitting down to know someone.Well, screw him, he was just a mess load of problems that neither he or Larxene wanted to deal with anymore.It was just him, her, and the beach right now. He was a little embarrassed with her catching him running his eyes along her firm, slender figure ..but she didn't seem to mind. Maybe it was out of appreciation that he was still alive after all this.

"If I didn't trust you ..I'd be gone by now ..I like you Larxene, a lot, despite what you are."

 

Looking at Reno with a smile, giggling at the fact that he liked her for what she was. "Even though I am a self admitted sadist..." She shook her head, sitting up from her cobalt towel, and ran her feet into the sand.
Resting her weight back into her palms, which were situated behind her now, She squinted as her eyes looked out at the sea.
What would he make her out to be now? A mental whore who's going to slaughter him?
Certainly not...
Hopefully not.

 

"Hey, people can change, can't they? Reno asked her, bringing his right leg on top of his left.He brought his hands under his head and yawned, letting the suns rays bathe him in warmth."You know ..I could see myself living like this later on in life ..home near the beach, never any bad weather or people around ...with the company of a beautiful woman.." he sat up and cast a glance to Larxene, who was a stretch beside him."Minus the house ..I think I've got the peace and quiet ..and the company of a beautiful woman ..I'm about halfway there." he joked with her, slowly leaning in closer to her."Now, if you're really a sadist like you claim, I'll probably be dead after this ..but I wouldn't change this for anything, y'know?" he questioned softly, ending up bringing his lips to hers and bringing out his passionate side, kissing her softly and hoping she returned the favor.

If not, he was a dead ...no biggie.

For added effect he brought his left hand forward and began caressing her bare stomach softly to comfort her more, maybe even send chills down her body.Pleasurable ones hopefully.

 

Wow. That... wasn't something she had experienced before. How odd. It felt good, but still odd to say the least. Her skin tingled underneath Reno's as his lips lingered on hers. She had to respond...
She just had to. Without hurting him, that is.
Slowly, Larxene brought her hand up to his neck, letting her fingers curve around the back of his neck to pull the red head closer.
A soft exhale of air sperated her lips from Reno's for a moment, before soon, The Nymph grew hungry for more.
She pulled him back again, returning the deep passion that flared within their first kiss, if not a bit more.

...I think I like this Reno guy.

 

His heart rate steadily increased as they went, even more so when he found that she reacted in a way that meant she wanted this as much as he did.Moving his hand across her stomach and placing both of her around her waist as his kiss deepened, Reno gently picked her up and laid back himself, having the position different now.Her body was in complete contact with his this way, but that was not the sole reason he changed the position.

He felt ..something with her, something he never felt with any other girl, as they were either trashy, skanks, or just plain obnoxious, focusing on how much money he had in his wallet.

He pulled away his lips from hers and took a moment to catch his breath.Thank god this was an empty beach other than them, otherwise some kids might be scarred for life. "Larxene ..I may be rushing things a bit ..but I want to know if you'd ..be my girlfriend?" he asked her, still holding her waist with a soft grip. Now he was nervous ..maybe she wouldn't give him a chance, and he'd try not to blame her. I mean from the stories she told him, living with Demyx was hell ..she might not trust a guy again."It's all right if you don't want to ..we could still be friends."
