A Life to Lead ^_^

Roxas looked down at the ground for a moment, knowing this part was always the hardest to explain.Still..she deserved to know the truth, just like any other Nobody."..Xioi.." he narrowed his eyes, concentrating on how to begin.If only Xemnas made a tape recorder to explain everything to the new members they were recruiting.It was all up to him to shed light on the darkness in her mind.She didn't understand..and maybe once she found out, she wouldn't want to understand.

He looked up at her, fearing how she'd take it.With sadness in his eyes, he sighed silently and approached the bar, placing his hands on the counter."You and I..Nobodies..we were never meant to exist..see, hearts are taken by creature's known as heartless.From that, a Heartless and a Nobody are formed, but the Nobody can take human qualities if its somebodies heart was strong enough..like us." he turned around and snapped his fingers, a Samurai appearing on its knees."That's a high ranking lesser nobody..people like me control certain types that fit our style..I'm in a group called Organization Thirteen, and our goal is to become whole again..to reach that goal, we..take hearts from people to complete something known as 'Kingdom Hearts'..it's complicated, I'm barely understanding all of this." with a wave of his hand, the Samurai vanished, and Roxas finally turned around, looking her in the eye.He stood and waited for her to say anything, as this would be plenty to take in.

 

Cloud's eyes widened for he didn't feel that was called for at all. "Geez you starrting to sound more like a bully than an actual fighter," he felt pity for the other organization member who was dubbed over in pain trying to be strong.

Instantly he inhaled and quickly exhaled after the strong impact that sent a throbbing signal to that very sensitive region. "Why the hell did you do that?" he glared at her, his edges of his eyes ready to bring forth tears that were beginning to show. "Great way to make me look bad. I really appreciate it," Just back off!" he shoved her as hard as he could not caring if she fell or not and had to sit on the ground for now he felt sick from eating all of those cookies and milk earlier. Breathing in the air he hoped he wasn't going to throw up, but felt like he was going to. " I just pulled your stands as a joke and you punch me in the gut. That was not cool," he leaned up against the wall

 

Xigbar paused for a moment. A noise caught his attention. Xigbar turned his attention towards the direction. There was someone watching them. He was sure of that much.
"I'll be back, Axel." Xigbar said to Axel, as this was both an excuse and a possibility of a good investigation. With his words, Xigbar was quickly off. There was quite the commotion from what Xigbar could hear. It just sounds like a useless argument. As he rounded the corner he could see familiar black cloaks and another new face. Xigbar didn't say anything nor do anything, but simply waited until his arrival was noticed. He was aware that Demyx should be somewhere else at the moment. As ordered by Xemnas. He wasn't going to snitch on the kid for now though.

What he turned to was more than bickering. Normally he would stay quiet but at this he didn't. Larxene had struck out, that was expected of her. Xigbar wasn't going to let this be unnoticed nor let another fight start. "Number Twelve," Xigbar said and started forward towards them, "Why the fighting?" He asked in a calmed voice and stopped a few feet from Larxene as well as Demyx. He kept his eye focused on Larxene though. Fights were not expected between members and as such, were not to be tolerated.

Xioimara looked at Roxas in the eyes as he finished speaking and looked down at the counter and stayed quiet for a while. The world seemed silent itself. Alphonse had even calmed down and no longer made noise for the moment.
"Organization Thirteen?" She said more to herself. "I'd prefer to meet your superior first." Xioimara said to Roxas. The last thing she wanted was to end up in a bad neighborhood as the one she was located in at the moment. Xioimara looked back up at Roxas as she waited for his response. She didn't want to be part of something she didn't like. She didn't want to be used.

 

Larxene raised an eyebrow, her insides twisting with guilt. Demyx... I'm sorry...so sorry. I didn't want to. I really didn't. beleive me when I say this... I lo-She coughed, blocking the thoughts from her head. She inhaled, then exhaled, exaggerating the effort it took to not jump on him and make him feel better. She looked at cloud, her eyes examining him. "trust me.." she sighed. "I didn't...I didn't want to." she looked away, not letting her voice be heard by the Melodious nocturne. Her eyes revealed too much lately; they had softened since being with demyxShe sniffed, then began to slowly walk away.

 

Sai walked to where he heard loud noises, tieing his red hair in to a ponytail. Seeing a few people in black cloaks he stopped in his place and stared at them like they were crazy, shaking his head he let out a sigh. Walking up to them he smirked.

"And what have we here?"He asked out loud seeing demyx, larxene and the others.

 

With a force not to be reckoned with, Axel used his speed ready to give Leon something to worry about, but instead of laying a finger on him he seized the security control and smashed it with his foot. "Good now I won't get zapped anymore," he noticed that Xigbar had left, kicked Leon in the leg hard and he took off where the one eyed senior member went off to.

"Hey get back here. I'm not done with you!" Leon cirnged from the pain and ran after him where the others were not knowing what had happend. He stopped when he saw Cloud in that area along with two others new ones in the cloaks. "Oh no not more of them and another person I don't know. Wait is that a heartless!"

 

"Leon! We've got our hands full here. I was just about to battle with that bully over there," he pointed his sword at Larxene. "She did not have to hit him hard in stomach like that. How dishonrable to hurt one of your teamates. I would never hurt you. By the way I think we have a chance to get some work which will solve our financial problems," he greeted his friend glad to see a familar face and someone he could trust.

Demyx got up on his feet, staggering a bit until he was forced to ignore the sensation for others were now in the area. His gaze caught Axel and Xigbar's first followed by another warrior, a heartless, and Larxene who was backing up. "Larxene," he sprinted over to her and seized her hand. "You and I will talk about this, but right now is not the time. As you can see we have an audience with Xigbar, and Axel and other warrior and now there is a heartless here. Let's just deal with that thing first and then we will talk alone," he said in a stern tone.

 

OOC: water mage told me Xemnas (whoever is playing him) is recruiting Xeol into the Org, can i just have Braxen and Kexant join up with Xeol and them?

 

..Whoa, she was full of surprises.Roxas was astounded that she didn't take it as shocking as anyone else would have, but living in this neighborhood must have taught her to expect the unexpected.What Roxas said was, in fact, unexpected.He merely blinked at her and nodded slowly, beckoning her to finish up and come out from there.

"That was easy.." he mumbled to himself, extending his arm towards the door and opening a portal.He beckoned her one more time before walking through.

 

"It doesn't take a lot to offer a person a ticket out of Hell and a possible road to Heaven." Xioimara commented to Roxas and looked in his aqua blue eyes. Xioimara glanced at Alphonse as Roxas opened a portal. She'd never seen such a thing and wasn't so much in awe as the question of whether she would be back?

"I'll be back, Alphonse." She said and got down on her knees to Alphonse's level and massaged his ears for a moment before standing up. He stood up as a will to just want to follow his master but when she gave him a simple glance he sat himself down and watched as she left through the portal to follow after the blond haired boy. Alphonse's tail stopped wagging and his ears went back once Xioimara left.

Xigbar glanced at Larxene and looked around. 'What a crowd.' He thought. It had excelled from four to seven in a matter of seconds. What a wonder.
"Larxene," Xigbar said as Larxene started away, he kept his voice firm. She wasn't going anywhere. "Quit faking these emotions and explain yourself." He said to Larxene. She shouldn't be showing such signs of feeling guilt. Even for someone like Larxene, he'd never expect that from her.

 

What met Xioimara was not the cheerful Roxas, but a man with darker skin, amber eyes and long white hair, who wore the Cloak each and every member had.She was standing face to face with the Big Cheese, the Don, the Mafia Boss, the Principle, the Gym Teacher, the President, the Father, the Leader of every member of Organization.Xemnas..number I.

His immediate reaction to her appearance was just..blank.He looked her over, and then gave a look at Roxas, who was right beside him.He wasn't amused by his pick, and rather found this to be a joke."..I gave the order to find members...not children, Roxas." he said with his emotionless tone, displeased with the blonde's find.If this boy wasn't Sora's nobody, then he'd probably have been rejected long ago.But every nobody counted.

Roxas nodded to Xioimara, glad she wasn't afraid to step through.Now all he had to do was deal with Xemnas.He looked up at him, defiance in his eyes."Her name is Xioimara and she's not a 'kid'..there's something special about her.I knew when I first found her.She can be just as much a help as anyone else can.Just give her a chance." he finished, confident in Xioimara, regardless of only know her for a short time.

Roxas was always the rebellious one, along with that Axel, which is why Xemnas wasn't surprised with his defiance.He turned back to Xioimara and narrowed his eyes slightly.If she gave off a good impression, she'd be accepted, but if not..she'd be sent off, and Roxas would be disciplined if he was wrong about her."Xioimara..there is no need to change your name, as an X is already present.But tell me..what is it you desire most." he asked her.It should be a Heart..otherwise she had no real reason of being here.

 

Xioimara was met by a new person. He wore the same clothes as Roxas and she was already being questioned. She would've probably been terrified of him if she had met this man yesterday.

She could all ready see the reasons behind his questioning of Roxas. She wasn't presentable the least. Xioimara was still in her street clothes from the night before. Her torn black and red T-shirt and ragged, also done-for jeans. Besides her clothes she appeared fine except for a laceration on her arm and followed from just below her elbow to her wrist. It was a deep wound from the butcher knife and as well was painful. She should've thought better before she wandered into this place.


The question he intended to find was if he was pleased with Xioimara. If she would be a good enough fighter. The answer in her mind was that she was displeased with this Superior. He hadn't even introduced himself and had gone right into questions. This was regarded as disrespect to Xioimara. The alleyways always introduced the newest stranger to that. If you had a name you just better say it before you speak. If you didn't have one you'd better make it up fast and keep it.

However, this was a simple mistake. She was aware anyone could make it and in the different Worlds, respect varied she was sure.
If she had ever dared to pull a stunt like that she would get a smack across the face.

"A lot of reasons within one. Apparently my Heart has gone. I want it back." Xioimara said to Xemnas. She could tell all ready that he wasn't going to re-act to many things. This was going to be tough.

 

Amber smiled but yet was surprissed her flirting was not working that much have she trully lost her touch she doubted it. "well i heard you say something about lets see what was that" she said to Sora innocently acting like she was forgetting. "oh yeah it was called organization 13 can you tell me what they are so this pretty girl wont be scared can you handsome" she said as she got closer to him. "lets see if this will make him go wild then when he is happy ill walk into that portal make him feel used and worthless" she thought as her emotionless nature made her smile.

Xeol could see the heartless gather around him they did not attack once again. "these beast like hearts so why are they not attacking me" he said to himself while the heartless continued examening him. The fog wielder leaned against memory skyscraper it seemed like he was waiting for someone but he did not know who.

 

FUCK YOU XIGBAR. her mind echoed what she was tempted to yell. She shook her head and looked at him, her eyes glistening slightly. her teeth dug into her soft lower-lip as she searched her mind for what she could say to Demyx in an apology to her earlier actions. "...I'm sorry demyx.." she mumbled, her hand raising and touching his - only by instinct, she told herself. That action was only by instinct.

 

Sora raised an eyebrow and took a step back as she drew closer to him.Normally he'd have been blushing but the girl was acting strange, so clearly she was up to something.He was young, but wasn't stupid.Still..he'd give her the explanation, only so she'd ease off of him a little.The girl looked a couple years older than him and it was really awkward that she was making moves on someone so young."Well..they steal hearts from other people, that's all I can really tell you." he couldn't reveal other worlds to her, but he was sure she'd figure it out if she kept sticking her nose in everyone else's business.

Sora looked back at Donald and Goofy, who in turn looked at him, then Donald went back to clutching his munny bag tightly, while Goofy tried telling him they shouldn't keep it.

Good answer, but completely expected.Having a feeling Roxas told her ahead of time what they were all about, he let it slide with little to no questioning afterwards.In response, he only gave her a barely noticeable nod."That is the goal each member hopes to achieve..some more than others." he thought back to the more rebellious members and turned his gaze up to the sky for just one second, then back down at Roxas."Are you willing to teach her, train her, and keep her in check?" he asked, prepared to give the young member a chance at responsibility.

Roxas, who was relatively silent throughout the conversation, turned his attention from the heart-shaped moon to Xemnas.Kingdom Hearts certainly did put one in a trance, so it was no wonder why Xemnas stood here for so long, awaiting the completion of his plans."Yeah, leave it to me." he nodded toward Xemnas and moved to Xioimara, standing beside her and turning around, giving another nod to Xemnas.

Xemnas extended his hand toward Roxas and created a void of darkness around it.Moments later, a black cloak was formed from it, and Xemnas allowed Roxas to take it.It was a good thing he was the only one who could successfully do that.Turning his attention to Xioimara, Xemnas spoke: "I am Xemnas, the Superior of this Organization.I personally welcome you to our ranks Xioimara..if you'll allow Roxas to take you to change and answer any more of your questions, you may leave." he turned around and looked towards Kingdom Hearts once more.

Looking toward Xioi, Roxas grinned and nodded towards the stairway."You can change in my room, and then I can show you yours..after that, we're free." he explained.

 

Xioimara nodded to Xemnas once he had finished speaking. Her eyes followed him and then up towards the Heart-shaped moon that shone in the sky.
Her thoughts went back to Alphonse. She had doubts that he would be allowed to stay with her and Xioimara wasn't one to sell off an animal. It had a soul like any other being and it loved her even if she couldn't. Xioimara watched Xemnas quietly and remained quiet for a second once Roxas spoke, "Uh," Xioimara started and glanced back at Roxas from the corner of her eye. She would've spoke up and felt she should've but didn't. Something told her it would be in her best of line not to bother Xemnas.

"Y-Yeah." She hesitated and looked at Roxas, forcing a smile. Her eyes softened a little as she smiled. Xioimara went over to Roxas, it was more of a gesture to lead the way. Xioimara kept the idea in the back of her mind that she could just hide Alphonse. Once she was out of earshot Xioimara knew she could trust Roxas with this idea. She could take Alphonse for walks when the Superior wasn't around, or when everyone was busy or asleep and give him the exercise he needed, food and water wouldn't be a problem. That would be easy to hide. The only problem would be keeping him quiet and keeping him hidden once he gets older. She knew he would grow to a big size, the reason why he was given to her originally was to be a guard dog since she was constantly in fights and better yet, owned a bar.

'Perfect.' Xioimara thought and a real smile appeared on her face. More of a smirk than anything.

 

Now getting confirmation, Roxas placed Xioimara's cloak on his right shoulder and headed down the nearby stairway with a hurried, but peaceful pace.He didn't want to remain near Xemnas anymore if he could help it, and he was certain that Xioi felt the same way.Reaching the base of the stairs, he looked back towards her while still keeping on his way toward his own room."..Hey, what about Alphonse?I don't think Xemnas will let us keep pets." he smiled faintly, but still worried about the little puppy.

 

Cloud brushed his hand through his blond hair as he looked at the others that were gathered around. ""Okay so are we going to fight or not?" He asked her. He was tired of waiting around and was willing to deal with this matter right now. He looked at Demyx who was still upset with Larxene and he didn't blame him.

Glaring at her, he twisted her arm and hand pulling her against him. "You owe me," he bitterly added and pulled his hand back letting go not wanting any other member to get any ideas or use what she did against him. If there was a relationship going he would keep it private and between them only.His stomach still ached from her forceful punch and she was not the fondest nobody to him right now. Moving away from her, he hurt her arm and hand and he hoped it hurt just like his stomach.

 

Xioimara glanced back to make sure no one was around but Roxas and herself. Xioimara was glad they had been thinking of the same thing. "I was thinking the same that I wouldn't be allowed to keep Alphonse and in any case," She started, "I'll hide him and if he's found we'll see what happens. I don't want to put Alphonse for adoption. He was given to me as a protector and as such I will do the same for him. He is under my care and I guess I'll hide him for now." She started, "If anything, I think I'll have more time to care for him now." Xioimara said to Roxas and smiled.

"If it's possible I'd like to get him now." Xioimara said to Roxas, "Since the Superior is busy at the moment and we are going to your room I think it will be easy to hide him for now until we get to my room." Xioimara said to Roxas, "In any case, I'll be right back." She concluded. Xioimara had seen Roxas use a portal earlier. She wasn't too sure how to use one herself but it was worth a try. She figured it had to be either by name or by imagining the place. The image of the bar came into her mind, it wasn't a foggy picture but she remembered it still. She wanted to go there. A portal of darkness opened in front of Xioimara and she didn't hesitate to step forward, in doing so her being disappeared into the darkness and reappeared in the bar.

Alphonse was eager to see her.
"C'mon, Al." Xioimara said to Alphonse and knelt down picking him up in her arms. He put one paw on each shoulder and hugged her to make sure he wasn't to be dropped by mistake. Xioimara quickly grabbed his leash and his collar from behind the bar counter and retrieved a rawhide for him to keep him quiet. This took her all but a few minutes. Xioimara then opened the portal back to where Roxas was and went through. Reappearing by Roxas.

"And I'm back." Xioimara said and Alphonse' ears perked up at the scent of Roxas. He squirmed in Xioimara's arms for a moment and tried to look around at Roxas, ever so glad to see him again. Xioimara placed Alphonse on the ground and held him still as she placed an aqua blue and dark blue checkered collar around his neck. She removed the tags quickly to ensure that he his collar wouldn't make any noise. "Follow my lead, Alphonse." She said to him firmly. She knew he would want to explore this knew place but was also sure that he would listen to her command and as such Alphonse sat by Xioimara until she moved.

 

marluxia walked through the portal which led to Hollow Bastion, Shaking his head with a smirk on his face remembering this place. Looking around at all the designs he gave a sigh shrugging his shoulders as he continued to his room.

"Things need to change"He said to himself.
