She was alway great when she was pouty. Her edgyness always was followed by pain.

 

Larxene shook her head, still looking to the floor. "Forget it." she mumbled, her forehead creasing slightly. "Your numbness will fade in a few minutes anyway, and it will take a while to explain. So just forget it.

 

"Oh come on. Just tell me. It isn't like it is some big emotional secret now is it? don't ya trust me?"

He'd get his anwer sooner or later. He was as curious as he was crazy.

 

Is it too late to join. If it isn't, I want to be King Mickey.

"Gex." Larxene snapped, small crackles becoming evident in the air around her. "will you let it go? It's nothing, okay? LET. IT. GO."
Her teeth were suddenly tightly gritted as she soon realised how touchy she was on this subject, and how soon she felt like she was going to lunge over and tear Gex's throat apart. ​

 

"well it sure doesn't sound like nothing. Would punching me feel any better? I'm still numb so the enjoyment will be one sided. Still, there is no problem with that. Come on, it is either tell me or punch me. Your choice really."

 

"Do not blackmail me." Larxene spat, looking him dead in the eyes. "The enjoyment wouldn't be there; I wouldn't witness the pain on your features, now, would I?" she smiled slightly, raising one eyebrow.

 

"really, you do it to witness pain not to simply creat it? Weird, I always did it as a form of...release."

Gex flashed his signiture smile, taughting the sadist. Just a little more. Come on now.

 

"that is only part of it. That takes up 50 percent of the satisfaction that causing pain provides. The other half is that of knowing that I have made a large impact, and have flared an emotion of pain, then triggers another emotion which differs from anger to sadness. On some cases, it is both, and that is even better.

 

"But you don't trigger those with me. All I feel is pain, nothing more. I have no anger or sadness to invoke. All I have is what you see before you. I know it isn't much, but that doesn't change things now does it? "

 

Xion smiled, waving at Aerith, then pointed to the white flower. "I planted that." she said proudly. "Aerith helped me." She touched it gently, then looked back at Demyx. "Did I do okay?" she asked nervously.

Aerith smiled, watching Xion with Demyx. The girl was amazing, she could bounce back from her experiences and concentrate on making others happy. She shook her head, her green eyes troubled as they went back to the decision she had to make. She didn't know what she would do....but everyone else had to be taken care of.

Larxene continued to look at the mad-man with a look of slight irritation on her features. This was also one of them questions of which puzzled her.
"It's different with you." she replied in a low tone, her eyes not averting - not even blinking - when looking into Gex's. "Everything is so different when it comes to you."

 

Gex return the glance, only with softer eyes. The drug seemed to slow his thoughts and actions. So strange, after all this time he still could figure out what to do with her.

"Diffrent?" He laughed.

"That is what I always hear. It is diffrent with me."

 

Demyx kneeled down and touched the pedals of the white flower. He felt so soft and with his hand he sprayed some water on it for it to get its nutrients to enrich the soil. "Yeah you did. Marluxia would be proud since he is the flower lover." He felt the dirt making sure it wasn't to moist then stood up on his feet. "So what else did you plant or want to show me?" Xion was so innocent and he wanted her to be happy, not worry about the concerns and pressures of the outside world mainly the organization.

Cloud smiled as Xion reminded him of some young children in a cathedrial that were lost and alone. Aerith and Tifa were like role models or mothers themselves to them. They offered kindness and reassurance against the storm of the cruel world. If only life could be simply once more? Looking over his shoulder, he waited for Leon to join him outside. He was glad that his friend said he would go with him which meant true loyality and comradeship knowing he would have his back if he got in a bind. Cloud's hand felt Xion's shoulder and he grinned with a small quirk. "I won't hurt you. Demyx is my friend."

 

Xion smiled, taking his hand. "Aerith helped me plant all the flowers on that side of the house, that tree, and.....that bush." she grinned. "It has thorns. And the tree will make fruit. Aerith says it has to blossom, so the bees will come. I like bees." She stopped, feeling a hand on her shoulder. She knew without looking that it was Cloud. She looked back at him nervously, then smiled. "Demyx is my friend too. My very best friend besides Aerith. But Aerith is like..." she hesitated.

Aerith went to her room, touching an old photograph she had there. She smiled slightly, her green eyes full of memories. So much had happened, they had lost so much. She sighed, letting her hand fall to her side, then went to the doorway, smiling as she watched Xion, Cloud and Demyx interact. She knew Xion would not retain her childlike ability to trust for much longer, and sadness moved over her face for a second.

 

Cloud noticed her hestination and waited for her to speak once more. "Like a older sister or mother?" He attempted to help her finish her response. "She has a very loving heart and seems to care about all especially those that are deeply troubled like myself. She has helped me in more ways then one." He kneeled to the ground and felt the soil with his hand, picking out a earth worm from it and placing it elsewhere away from the flowers. He looked at his new friend Demyx and felt he had a connection with Xion. "Yes, Demyx is one of a kind. It's rare for a nobody to have so much compassion for one that doesn't even have a heart and I bet he will get his before anyone else of Organization XIII just for that reason." He was glad that everyone was at peace for the moment and Xemnas's task of getting more hearts would have to wait. What he didn't know wouldn't hurt the blond warrior and Demyx in fact since he was supposed to be getting hearts as well. Xemnas had no idea what was going on.

Demyx smiled as he listened to Xion and Cloud interact and was especially proud when he heard that he could get his heart before any of the others. It made him feel important and wanted. Xion needed somoene to look after her, like a mother figure and Aerith was the perfect choice. She was teaching her kindness and that the world wasn't all that bad. No wonder, Cloud himself had a close connection to the brunette woman. She had a lot of good traits about her for she saw the good in everyone. Xion needed to be around the postive influences and besides Aerith being one, and Cloud being another, Demyx thought of himself as being put in the same catergory. He felt very comfortable around the humans, and it made him feel like a human himself rather then a vessel that was living and breathing. "Xion, how would you like to go eat some icecream with Cloud, Leon, Aerith and I?" He offered his hand out to her.

 

Aerith watched them, smiling, then quickly wrote a note and put it on the counter. She picked up her basket of flowers, then walked out into the street, smiling slightly. She headed to the edge of town, walking slowly to keep suspicion away from her.

Xion smiled. "She should have babies of her own." she said, then looked up at Demyx. "Aerith isn't going to go." she said. "I would like that, though."

 

Cloud looked around for he thought he heard a door close from behind him in the distance. "How come?" He asked. He was concerned about her, but knew she would be all right. She could take care of herself. Perhaps she had something she needed to do? Cloud would find out soon enough.

Demyx's smile broadned once more. "All right if that's what you want. She is welcome to come if she wants though. We can bring her something back," He lifted his head towards the sky and felt the cool breeze swipe in the face. "The wind is gentle unlike Xaldin who creates tornados or huge gusts in his way. Why am I even thinking about the rest of the members of the Organization anyway?" He hated to admit it, but all of the members in some way made him know that was like the only family he ever had if you could call them that. He looked over his shoulder feeling like he was being watched, but didn't want Cloud or Xion to see him in distress. No, this day was about them all having fun and enjoying the time they had together.

 

Aerith walked into an old dilapidated building. She set her basket down by the entrance, then walked into the darker part, no expression on her face. She smiled as a figure stepped out from the light, his back to it. She hugged him, ignoring the ghostly feel. This was their time now.

Xion quieted at the mention of Aerith. She took Demyx's hand. "She brought me to the place once. It's her place. No one else goes there except Z-." she stopped, blushing. She had almost said what Aerith didn't want her to say. "What kind of ice cream do you like best?" she asked instead.

Sora nodded to Riku as he released his Wisdom form, going back to normal. The Organization wasn't all they were cracked up to be. That fight was just so easy to him. "Yeah, no problem!..now we can keep going.Can you go on?" he asked.

With the drama over, Roxas portaled himself back to Twilight Town, standing on Sunset Hill and gazing out at the town below.It was a beautiful sight..too bad Xioimara was still in her room.He'd love to spend more time with her.Axel and Demyx..drama never left those two. Roxas felt more alone than ever now. All he wanted to do was feel complete again, and to stay out of the way of the worse members in the group.

Hearing what the fairies saw, the master of magic, Yen Sid, clasped his hands together and stood from his table in the Tower, heading out towards the moon-shaped window. He told the fairies once, and that should have been enough. But they were gentle and kind, so it couldn't be helped. "..As I've said before..it is an act. Nobodies do not have true emotions..what you saw was a fake joy. The Organization are fooling you..do not allow it." he looked around to the three fairies and shut his eyes for a moment."But..Cloud going over to that side on a whim is not something I've seen.His heart is strong..but his mind is not. He is willing to turn on the side of good for material items such as munny..the treachery of the Organization knows no bounds."
