A Life to Lead ^_^

Axel looked at Phenox carefully as if studying him. "Ok, I will judge you then, Tell me about yourself and why you want to join us?" he wanted to see if this nobody had the right acquirements. If he failed then Xenmas would not be very happy with the flurry. Recruiting a new member was a big responsible. At least someone had spoken up so he wouldn't be bored anymore.

 

"fair enough." Phenox said. he cleared his throat. "three years ago, i was attacked by an army of heartless that were invading my world. that led to me becoming a nobody. i wandered around for 2 years, perfecting my skill by being taught by a wise nobody with no name." Phenox sighed. "sadly, he was killed and i was left on my own. i continued training even harder than before. for six months i was a mercenary, a hired soldier. i eventually quit and dedicated every day of my life to training." Phenox finished "now, why i want to join.... i believe i can be a great asset." he said

"i'm here to serve..."

 

OOC: Idk anymore, you people move too quickly anyway.He was in the medical area last time I posted.

 

"Gex, you idiot." Larxene growled, letting her hands drop from his shoulders. "You frightened me for a sec there." she mumbled, stepping back from him and looking to the floor.

The floor looked cold, and rather dead. It reminded her of what she should be: A cold, emotionless brick in a large plan to sucess. Said sucess being herself and the other members obtaining their hearts and emotions again.
But why have our hearts when we have these 'phantom emotions' so strong? What is the difference between these phantom ones and the real ones? They couldn't possibly get any stronger, right?
That weakness, the weakening feeling of pure guilt had literally burned a hole in her insides and crushed away any form of sanity she had left. And that was because it was but a new 'feeling' she had encountered, but what about when her heart is back? What about when the new - and stronger - emotions return again?
What will happen to the sadistic little cow-bag that inhabited castle oblivion?
Will I be a cute, gigglish blonde girl obsessed with my own self and not others?
I don't want to change. I want to stay as sadistic, evil and twisted nobody I am, and not into some boring human.

 

Gex began to stand on shaky legs. His arm spasmed violently. If he focused he could control it a bit. The damage however seemed permanent. Never again will that arm have any composure. Now and forever, the limb will thrash and flail as if it was under the command of emotions. Always, it will be a manifestation of his essence with a heart or what he might be. Today was a close call. Never before had he come so close to death to where he faded. He had to be more careful, more calculating.

Turning his back on the Nymph, the masochist of insanity limped our of the room.

 

Watching Gex walk away, a confused look masked itself over larxene's expression.
"Gex?" she muttered, walking towards him. She was beside him in a flash, holding his malfunctioning hand tightly. "I'll take you and get this healed..." she whispered, pulling him into a portal, and through the corridors of darkness.

 

While in the portal, Gex pulled his insubordinate hand out of the nobody's embrace. She had to understand, she had to understand that this wasn't about her. It was about himself, it always was about himself. He was always trying to prove his existance to himself through pain, flirting with oblivion each time. This was only the first time however that death kissed him on the cheek. Similar to a blank slate, Gex murdered every trace of expression that decided to reside on his face and in his body language.

"Larxene, member of the Organization, my superior, It is not possible to heal this wound. This was caused by damage to the nervous system, Possibly my neural interface. What is done is done. To prevent another chance at destruction, I would wish to refrain from prior activties."

 

Xion smiled at the rainbow, her blue eyes taking in every small detail. "It's so beautiful....." She looked back at Demyx. "I do trust you. More then anything."

Aerith sighed, then abruptly left the house, going back to her garden. It wasn't like she didn't want to fix her mistakes, but she had to do so by helping others, and Cloud......she didn't need to lose anyone else. Life was hard enough.

Riku sighed. he stood up, and looked around. Everything was quiet. The blood stopped pouring out of his arm, thatwas a good thing. "Sora, are you alright?"

 

After thinking for a while on who they were and how best to describe them, especially the one that hadn't shown his powers, Mixt eventually siad "There was a muscular one with control over stone, a scrawnyer one with control over ice, and an adolecent that didn't do much but had a large book."

Vexen saw this from his security center and portaled into the scene "Who are you calling scrawny? You don't look much better if you ask me. But then again no one would ask me. Or rather not even no one, But anyway, how are you even still here? Someone should of sent you out by now, and why are you not being attacked by the lesser nobodies all over this place?"

 

"Glad to hear it," Demyx touched her hand. "So are you willing to come with me then? We can stay here and eat something first and then we can go somewhere else after that before we have to go back?" He wasn't sure of what she was going to say, but at least he hoped to convince her of his plan.


Cloud wandered over towards his friend placing his hand on his shoulder. At first he wasn't sure if Leon wanted to go with him, but it looked like he had changed his mind. "If that is what you want Leon then you can come." He wondered where Aerith had gone off too and maybe it was something he said that upset her, but he couldn't lie to her. That was the kind of person he was.

 

"Let me see it..." Larxene took Gex's hand again. Her touch had changed; her hand was softer, more gentle on the mad man's skin. His hand was shaking in hers, but she continued to look at it with serene concentration that was so strong, it radiated straight through her cobalt eyes.
With a slight bite of her lower lip, a small sigh rolled from her diaphram and caressed the hand she held in hers.
"We can try and heal this, Gex. Beleive me, I won't take no for an answer." She looked up, her blue eyes meeting his emerald greens. "I promise I won't."

 

The maniac shook his head and offered up a fake smile. She was so stubborn. What he was saying wasn't being deciphered in her head correctly. He wanted to live, live and suffer. The woman, this beast with sapphire eyes...she was his death if he wasn't paying attention. That was a problem, a problem he would have to fix sooner rather than later.

"Very well then, but only because you are so kind."

 

Xion smiled, taking his hand and pulling him to his feet. "You have to talk to Aerith, she was going to take me back there. She's like......my mom." she smiled at the word, pulling him toward the garden.

Aerith smiled, gently brushing dirt off her dress as she stood up. She turned to see Xion pulling Demyx toward her. "Xion, be gentle." she said, walking over to them. "What's the matter?"

 

"I'm always kind." Larxene replied with a flash of her white teeth. Her tone was sarcastic, with that bitter edge she had once reserved, lifted away.
Still leading him into the medical cupboard, her surroundings were dark with only slim sheds of light being thrown from narrow windows on the high walls securing the room they both stood in.
She looked up, her eyes narrowing as she identified the exhiler she wanted to obtain to help Gex and his arm.
"This is gonna take some effort.." she muttered, her forhead creasing at the thought of actually climbing those dusty, awful shelves. ​

 

Looking up, Gex could see the vial that Larxene was going to obtain. She was too short to reach it. Maybe if he helped her out a little. How would he do that with only one good arm however. Improvise of course! Summoning his power, Gex manifested his puppet's right arm and connected it to his shoulder. A decent enough limb for what he was about to do. He gripped the blonde around her waist with his real and phantom hands. Gently, he lifted her up high enough in order to get the elixer.

 

"ah!" Larxene looked down at Gex, a mask of uncertainty looming over her features quite suddenly; she wasn't used to people man-handling her like this. She felt rather uncomfortable in them doing so.
Jumping from Gex's grasp, she leapt onto one of the higher shelves and gripped it tightly. Her breath-taking speed was that of an advantage once lumbered into this situation, as her weight was nothing when lightening fast; gravity had nothing on her if she put her mind to it.
She climbed. One, two, three shelves up, until stopping to check how far she had to go. Only three more. If she was fast enough, she could grab it and be back down without making the shelf wobble anymore than it had already, and into Gex's arms once again.
But that was only if she was fast enough.

 

Gex stared up at the girl. Forget nymph, cat seemed far more suitable a title. It had been a long time since he had seen such agility. The speed during his trial didn't count. Such a woman, fast and strong. He truly would die by her hand one day.

 

Larxene jumped, in doing so, she grabbed the small glass vail in her hand.
On her decline to the shelf she once stood on, her footing slipped, sending her in the opposite direction to the shelf. Instead, she fell towards the cold floor.

On the note of quick thinking, she placed the bottle between her teeth and spun her body forward so her hands were heading to the stone below. There was but a mere 50% chance that this would work, but hey, it was worth a shot.

 

Crap, he took back everything he said in his head. So much for agility without any traction. Gex hurried to get under the nymph and try to break her fall. If she fell more would be lost than some funny looking liquid. This day used to be going so well. Why couldn't he have just snapped his arm in to instead of blacking out? Things would have been so much easier.
