A Life to Lead ^_^

Larxene grew easily bored after running the excess water from her body and skin. She needed someone to take her anger out... Who else than a maniac like Gex?

Steppeing forward, she placed on hand on Gex's shoulder, and sent a blast through his entire frame. She felt a sudden release, a warm feeling of satisfaction and pleasure roll through her, and out through her lips into a warm sigh.
The feeling was good. So, so good.
There was a slight chance that it may be a little too good. Like she was taking this false emotion, and coating it with another to mask a form of pain away.

Wincing, she stepped back. What had that damn nocturne done to her?
Guilt?
hah.
I have too much pride to obtain any form of guilt.

 

The pulse took the maniac by surprise. It is kind of ironic considering it was to be expected. he was comforting a psychopath afterall. Either way, the lack of preparation and the force of the attack dropped Gex like a rock. He lay on the floor, twitching. What that pain or numbness? Gex wasn't quite sure. everything seemed blurry, like when fog is draped over a mirror. Slowly, his eyes closed.

 

Larxene smirked, laughing slightly at Gex's pulverised state.
"you're weak, Gex." she smiled, walking over to him and looking down onto the top of his enclosed eyelids. "Very, very weak."

With her right hand, she lunged down and gripped him by the coat with her maliciously tight grasp; she had no time to provide sympathy to him right now. It was too fun to hurt him.
With her strength, she pulled the maniac up and steadied him on his feet.
"Wake up you wuss." she spat, shaking the mad man in an angry fashion.

 

Gex was unresponsive. He exibited a slight spasim now and then, but wasn't really awake. With his lack of conciousness, he had no stability. The only thing holding him up at this moment was the nymph's vicious fist feasting on his apparal. Flecks of darkness began to flake off of the masochist and dissappeared into nothingness.

 

Larxene sighed, rolling her eyes. "Gex, you're being a drama que-" She stopped, her eyes examining the flaking shards of darkness that peeled away from him like that of an orange skin.
With a gasp, she steadied him again. This time, she held a tighter, more secure grip on his arms. With sharp eyes, she examined his fading body as it gradually wore away.

 

Four minutes into the dilema, the mad man's eyes began to flutter. Like a swimmer in murky water, Gex tried to make out what was infront of him. What happen? Was it painful? could he do it again? Or had nothing happened at all? maybe the world simply stopped.

"Wha...wha?"

Shards of darknes still radiated off of his body, like inked snowflakes falling upwards or embers coated in soot.

 

Larxene shook the madman, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"Gex open your eyes and speak more. now. Or I swear I will not cave my fist into your head." She growled.
Was this guy a weakling or something? I didn't hit him that hard!
Oh... I feel like I've been in this situation before. But this time, I don't have a big meaty neanderthal barking abuse at me, or a ginger-haired bad-tempered know-it-all causing my breathing to go to pot.

 

Gex's eyes snapped open at his revelation. He slowly felt himself lose contact with bits of his frame. he was dying! No not he couldn't! Not when he was so careful!

Serving under impulse, the mad man shoved the blonde from his view and clutched his head. He knelt to the ground.

"No, No I will not go like this! Not when there is no existance, not without complete sensation

 

OOC: *facepalm* I completely missed this. Are you still there or did you move on?

 

"Gex...." Larxene mumbled, knealing down to his level. She slid her finger under the maniacs chin and lifted his head up. Her gaze met his and she focussed, attempting to draw all the excess electronic particles she had passed from her body to his, back. This, although contridicting the technique, took energy from her. "Gex....stay awake...Don't...Don't panic, okay?" She mumbled, her eyes dazed as she still gazed into his.
I must stay strong. I am not weak, and I will not fail at this. I have not failed, and I do not wish to in the future.

 

Gex's stared into her eyes, but saw nothing. His mind wasn't registering, only using all of its broken focus to keeping the lunatic together. He had to live. That was all he had and all he ever will. Leaving the underworld was a bad idea. There you could never truly die. out here, in the world of nothingness, reality did everything to dust you from existance. In time, his fading slowed to a crawl. A few minutes after that and it was done. It was as if the situation never occured.

 

Cloud took hold of her hand and then placed it down by her side. He shook his head repeatly. "Because some voice inside me told me to. I kill heartless anyway so why not get payed for my services. The munny will help us all out." He crossed his arms in a simple fashion, his mind made up. "No, you can not come where I'm going. The castle is not a hotel. There are dangerous nobodies that can easily take your heart. I don't have to be concerned about that since I have the protection of Demyx. It is only agreed that I go there and it will only be part of the time not all the time." He cast her a lonely gaze, his eyes shifting to her green ones. "I have to do this."

Demyx hugged her again, and patted her shoulder afterwards. He had so much to tell the youngest female member that was sweet to him. " I missed you too Xion." He gave her another hug and then held onto both of her hands as he stood in front, flashing his pearly whites. "Yeah I'm fine except for a few injuries that didn't need to happen, but that what I get for standing up to the likes of her," his voice trailed off as he did not want to recall those events once more. "The important thing is that you're safe and seem to be happy here."

 

Aerith sighed. "Who else is going to keep you sane?" she smiled slightly. "Besides, Xion and I were going to go anyways. She needs to...get an article she left there." She understood what drove Cloud but.....she looked down, thinking. "Are you sure you have to?"

Xion smiled slightly. No need to trouble him. "Is Larxene still the same nasty bi-girl?" she asked. Looking at Aerith through the window, she wondered at the worried look on her face. Most of the time Aerith was at peace...

 

"Yeah, but since Xion plans to go to the castle with you this changes my decision." His eyes shifted to the ground. He was lost in throught of his next plans and what Xemnas would have him do next. What world would he and Demyx be going to? Clicking his boots on the ground, he shifted his weight on his other leg. "Aerith since you and Xion are going back, then wait until Demyx brings me back. The only way to get to the World That Never Was, is by having a nobody take us there or have Sora drop us off with his gummi ship and you know that is not going to happen." He was ready to go back inside with her.

Demyx chuckled under his breath at that statement. Xion knew the members of the organization like the back of her glove. "Unforuntely yes and we have more members as well. The goal is still the same to get our hearts and the boss has been more rough on me lately, but that could be because of what I have done," he grinned sheepishly tapping his fingers onto the top of his left forehand. "You know how Xemnas gets."

 

Aerith nodded, then grabbed his arm. "Cloud.....you can't bring anyone back by doing this." Her green eyes watched him earnestly.

Xion smiled slightly. "I know.....so you're going back with him?" she asked, looking down.

 

Feeling her touch, his eyes glanced at hers as she was trying to tell him something. "I know, but it eases the pain." He walked away from her. Coming to the back door, he walked inside, his mind else where remembering what she was saying. "I know that what I do will not make up for all the lives have been lost, but what else is there? He will always be there haunting me." Cloud's thoughts raced in his head as he took his place against the side of the wall.

Demyx noticed her forlorn body language with her head looking down at the ground. He didn't want her to feel that way. With his right hand, he lifted her chin up and kneeled to on his knees so he wasn't towering over her. "Xion come back with me."

 

Aerith looked at the flowers, walking over to them and sighing. So many.....she couldn't help everyone....she touched the white one, smiling. She stood up again, walking back into the house.

Xion looked up, seeing Aerith's face. It was so....sad...She looked at Demyx, touching his face with almost childlike wonder. "Xemnas doesn't like me." she murmured, smiling slightly. "I have to go back for something, then I have to stay away."

 

He rubbed her hand, her gentle touch making his breath still for a moment. She was such an innocent child. "Xion, I'll make sure you're not harmed in anyway. I'll protect you." Moving his left hand, he felt her left cheek. "I promise I'll be there for you." With his element of water coming forth from the ground, he let it spray outside creating a beautiful rainbow from the water particles hitting the sunlight. "That rainbow is a symbol of my promise. Please trust me."

Cloud had settled himself in the kitchen and had his head buried in his cross arms that were on the table. He was tired from the confrontation and the emotions from her gentle words were getting to him. He looked up and addressed his best friend. "Leon she seems to know what is best for me, but I have made my decision and I want you to explain that to her when I'm gone.

From the hustle and bustling of the people in Hollow Bastion, the good fairies Flora, Fauna and MerryWeather had heard and seen everything through their spot in the keyhole where no one could detect them.

"Quick we must tell his Master Yin."

"But they look so troubled Flora. I wish we could help them. The other gentleman from the Organization doesn't seem to be mad. He's not at all like Malifacient. He knows all about love and kindness and..."

"Ohhhh he's from Organization XIII and none of them can't be trusted. I would like to turn him into a dolphin or something."

"Oh no dear, he hasn't attacked us. He's helping his friend Cloud and there is nothing wrong with that."

"Well that Cloud is no better. Trouble also happens where ever he goes. He's like a curse and now that he is teaming up with Organization XIII just means bigger trouble for all of us."

"But dear, he's lost and so is oh what's his name Demyx I believe. He cares for that young girl too. How sweet is that Merriweather?"

"Yeah well... He's in denial he has feelings since Master Yin said that nobodies are not incapable of having them."


"Oh listen to you two. You both sounding like a bunch of biddies. We'll discuss this later. Now let's leave."

And so the good fairies disappeared into Master Yin's quarters and told him the whole story and the events that had happened.

 

(OOC: Yeah Axel is still there, but he is bored if anything.
watermage, which keyhole are the fairies looking at the events at? Oh and Gatekeeper where the heck is Roxas?)

Axel just stood around waiting for Mixt to answer about who the three men that he had met. The flurry was bored with just waiting and he wondered if Roxas was still around their world if anything. He should be since the pyro hadn't sensed him leave or anything. He wanted to leave this popsicle stand, but he just wanted his answer first. Demyx was taking too long and he hated playing the waiting game, but he was to keep an eye on him. The idea about Cloud and Leon joining forces now made sense to him in his perspective though hoped it wouldn't backfire in his face.

Leon nodded his head, though he was curious and did not like the idea of Cloud going off by himself again. "Cloud, you know how much she cares and Aerith is extremely stubborn, maybe I should go with you," He added as he leaned on the back rest of the chair.

 

Phenox looked at Axel and tilted his head. "i think i'd like to join this organization. that is of course, if it's alright with whoever is in charge." Phenox smiled.
