A Life to Lead ^_^

Cloud picked up the contract once Leon had signed it and once the blood mark had dried. He would be especially careful when handling it. Making a copy of it with the printer/copier and scanner he handed the oringinal back to Xemnas. "I will keep the copy," He stood up from his chair punching in coordinates in his comlink to let Aerith know Leon and him were on his way. Leaving the room, he walked outside and realized how was he going to get home.

Demyx watched Cloud walk away and he assumed Leon followed in pursuit. "Boss, clean up your hand." He excused himself walking after them and ignoring the look he was getting from Axel. "Axel everything will be fine. Don't worry my friend," he touched his shoulder and then turned away to catch up with Cloud. "It looks like you need my help to leave don't ya?" He summoned forth the darkness and waited for Leon to come and enter through it as Cloud took the iniative allowing himself to go through.

 

xemnas began to walk back to his resting area. Demyx was right. He needed to clean his hand. pressing against the paper, his thumb danced across the back of the paper and left all of his freed red on the page in the shape of an X. The things he did for his heart. It better be worth it.

 

Luxord smiled at how Gex figured out one of the reason why he would be considerd a knight. "yes its one of the hardest pieces to play but yet it has one of the most majestic and honorable roles then the rest of the pieces my dear companion" he said smiling. "also as you probolly figured out by now that is why my fated nickname is the Gambler of Fate" he said to the man smiling.

"Maybe, but I'd trade all my honor just to live. everything is nothing without life. Without life we are truly nothing. I don't want that. without life then I cand suffer. a dead knight has less value than a living pawn."

 

Luxord smiled as he listend to the man he listen but it was hard for him cause he was a knight once but that was in the past. "Well said my dear man but remember a knight is never truelly died if its dearist friends remember his gallient deeds even if he became a nobodie" he said to Gex. The Gambler of Fate quickly changed the subject cause he did not want to talk about it. "well since your a quenn have fun having a nice chat with the unforgiving blade of the galluten" he said to the man smiling.

 

"yeah yeah maybe. But what if your friends get removed from the board aswell? Then you truly were nothing then. Still, this was an interesting conversation. We should have this again. The queen has spoken."

 

Axel crossed his arms listening to Mixt and narrowed his eyes at him. "I still want to know why you would want to dress up as one of us? You and Phenox somehow found your way in our castle. You weren't recruited, but you seem to have some kind of fancy towards us. If you do join and then betray us you will be hunted down," He added smilling somewhat if somehow amused. He had heard what Demyx had said and only sighed thinking of the worse possible outcome. Normally Axel was not a negative thinker, but there was just something he did not trust with the two Hallow Bastion humans. "Demyx, you better come right back home or I will be forced to go after you," he added. There was unsettling feeling to him in Hallow Bastion as if some known presence he had remembered from before.


Leon swallowed as he stepped into the portal. He hoped that this would take them home, but knowing a nobody the void could go to all sorts of different places. He wasn't afraid at all, but just curious. "That is a strange looking portal."

 

Phenox turned to face Axel. "so what happens now?" he asked. he scratched the back of his head.

 

While waiting for certain people to answer him he focused his attention on Phenix. "That depends, tell me what you want from us and I will decide to let you live or not," He answered in a matter fact of kind of reply though it was pretty much blunt if anything. He most almost annoyed, but kind of intrigued on some of these people were get to their floating castle. They must have some kind of powers or something, but he misplaced the object of knowing the true way of getting to the castle. One would have to fly or create a bridge of some sort.

 

Phenox smiled. "i think i'd like to join." he said "of course, if your boss, or whoever is in charge doesn't mind. my intentions are pure. i'm just a nobody trying to get by."

 

Xion finished the kitchen and went to the backyard door way. She smiled, watching Aerith work. She was so content with her place in life......it made Xion ashamed to want more.

Aerith hummed as she worked, tending one flower that was a little dry. She smiled as it bloomed more openly, a beautiful pure white. She noticed Xion in the doorway, and waved the girl over. "This one reminds me of you." She pointed at the white flower.

 

Larxene opened a portal to the alter, appearing a few meters away from Gex. SHe was wondering where he was at. He seemed to be talking at the moment, but that was besides the point; she wanted to cause pain, and he always wants it.
Clicking her fingers, she sent a small bolt of lightining ot his back, a small smile apparent on her features.

 

The sudden blast surprised the mancer. He turned around and saw the assailant. Larxene, it appeared that she was better from whatever gripped her prior. That's good. For a bit he thought he lost her. Gripping his back, Gex displayed his smile for her to see.


"owowowowowow!!! what is wrong with you?"

 

"Wrong with me?" Larxene smiled, hurling herself onto Gex's back at lightining speed. "Nothing is wrong with me, hun." she giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck loosely, whilst letting a minor current flow from her body to his. "You're the one who desires pain, right?"

 

Luxord smiled at Gex "true if theres not a friend standing on the board to remember your valuable deeds and what you did in your life you never truelly existed then fate choose that unfortionat path for you to endure throught out the fated life you play a part in" The gambler said to him smiling."yes it was quet a splended chat my dear companion" he said to him he was about to talk some more untell he noticed larxene doin her favorite activity. "oh Larxene i unfortionatly did not see your gracefull showing up but it does matter anyways" he said to the savage nymph smiling. "i wonder if you was a card would anyone be able to call you queen that you so portray yourself to be" the gambler said to Larxene.

 

Gex hugged her close while falling backwards from the momentum. It wasn't pain, but he'd make do. She seemed oddly cheerful. He wondered why she put on such a facade.

"We both desire pain...just in a diffrent context."

 

Hearing what marluxia said Sai gave a nod as he followed behind as he was summoned. Looking around the halls keeping a memory map of the place in his mind. "I Shall be where you put me Luxia"He said with a smile. Walking in marluxia's room, stopping he looked around taking in the design isn't what he thought it would had.

 

"If we are to be talking about cards luxord, I assume we are talking but only of the beauty they behold." Larxene answered luxord in a cocky tone. "For I shall take nothing but the highest and most elegent of cards to suit my description." she sniffed, taking a tighter hold on Gex's neck whilst she took the other from its position to run her fingers through her hair - an action she would only allow herself to do. "I would actually class myself as an Ace, to be perfectly honest with you; they are elegent, swift, and rather deadly in the hand of the right man." She took her attention and based it on Gex.
"And yes, you are right Gex. I like to cause it. I have way too much pride to bear that damn stuff though."
