Jumping down from his seat marluxia walked out of the room snapping his fingers smirking as sai appeared behind him following."Sai I have agreed to your conditions and may stay with me but if you get caught by any other member especially the Boss you are on your own am I clear"He ordered as he opened his door to his room.

 

Gex bowed to the golden haired member.

"I am not stupid sir. Crazy, but not stupid. I could under stand most of your words. I can even speak as you speak. It simply seems uneeded is all. If we work together, I hope you understand that."

 

"Oh no," Cloud was exasperated as he tapped his fingers on the table once more. How difficult was it to sign a contract with his name. "No no no. You don't understand. I need your signature. Not your bloody thumb print. That is not evidence and anyone could have done that."

Demyx cringed when he saw what Xemnas did and shook his head. "Boss just please for the love of Kingdom Hearts just sign the contract with your signature meaning your name and only your name. You know X-E-M-N-A-S. That's it and then Cloud, Leon and I will be on our way and you can do what ever you like afterwards."

 

Luxord watched as the man bowed to him it made Gex show some honor and loyalty that is something the gambler wanted to see in the members but unfortionatly he was not pleazed lately. The Gambler of Fate put his hand on the mans shoulder "thats splended to hear my fin gentlemen now you may raise" he said to the man smiling. Then the gambler of fate bowed to the man aswell "now i would like to say my humblest of appoligies for myself deminishing your knowledge even if you are crazy im enlightend that you allowed me to witness your honor and respect thats something my luck does not witness as often" he said to gex smiling.

 

Xemnas pointed down at the print. blood still dripping from his thumb

Look closer demyx. This is my signiture. my symbol, and all that is important of my name is right there. Don't you see it?

Gex could only smile. That was what he was good at as of late.

"Well that is the life of a gambler though is it not? you win some you lose some. If I remember right, that is what makes it fun. the anticipation and the tension."

 

Demyx cringed once more from the blood dripping from his boss's finger. Was that act needed honestly? Sometimes he swore Xemnas did act like he had emotions otherwise he would of not been dramatic. "Okay that is offical and is the best you're going to get Cloud. Boss, you really need to clean that up before you touch something else and we all get infected by your germs." Demyx didn't know where the sentence came from except when he recalled when he was human his mother was a clean freak and also satitized everything. Perhaps that was why he mentioned that out of the blue.

Cloud leaned up thankful that Xemnas finally made the contract offical and all he had to do was wait for Leon to sign. "Okay Leon I need you to sign and then we can leave." He was going to shake hands with Xemnas, but decided aganist since he saw the blood and didn't know whether the gloves Xemnas wore were clean or not.

"Geez that took a long time. Agreements are so time consuming, but it will be worth it I'm sure," he stood up from his chair and stretched his arms and legs from sitting so long.

 

Seeing that the contract was wrapping up Mixt walked forward to Xemnas. He thought the bloody thumb print move to be odd but didn't give it a second thought. "Alright, as far as I can tell once you deal with me we are set for the time being. I already have a coat so once you give the word I can create a proof of existence."

Axel looked at Phonix and saw his weapon and this bothered the flurry of dancing flames as he threatend him with his chakram. "How did you get in here and what are you after?" He asked his arms folded. His glance turned towards Demyx, Xenmas, Cloud, and Leon. He shook his head not liking this arrangement whatsover. "This can't be happening, if that is the way things will be then expect something drastic, traitor..." He muttered not giving away his answer as well. He was pretty pissed off right now. His eyes giving the death glare at he swaying Demyx in the chair as he slammed his fist on the desk. Disappointment and anger had ranged on his features as he couldn't believe he had no say in the matter. He lived in this castle so how the hell could he have no say in this. Why was Marluxia okay with this arrangement, especially Xenmas and then naive Demyx. He turned towards Mixt. "Wait a minute you can't just join without a test?"

Leon looked at Cloud and then slapped his head. "Okay, I will do that right now." He viewed the contract and then signed it. "There we go," he smiled at him.

 

Aerith went to tend her flowers out back, leaving Xion alone in the kitchen. She knew the girl would get used to the new home, it just took time. Just like with Cloud...

Xion finished scrubbing the counter and moved onto the table, concentrating. If she didn't she might just freak out.

 

Mixt turned back to look at Axel "My assigned test was to defend myself against you and thus far you've made it very easy. If you don't want me here then it is your job to make me leave." Mixt had left his sword behind, he would need to transmute something if this got started again.

 

Phenox looked around at everyone in the room. "test?" he asked. "what do you mean by test?"

Luxord smiled at Gex talking about the chances ,the risk, and the fun he looked at the man as he pulled out his cards playfully shuffling them. "yes indead Gex the gamblers fate is to always see how lady luck deals the fatefull hand of judgement on the fortunat and the unfortionat" he said to the man smiling. The Gambler of fate was starting to like the recruit he was loyal to Xemnase and now to the gambler he became loyal to him. "the tension and the enthustic excitment is what the gambler always seeks to witness in their fatefull lives but the one who seperates the average and the great is how they take advantage of fate and luck itself" Luxord said smiling as he held up an ace between two of his fingurs.

 

the masochist shook his head at this man's devotion to utter chance. Didn't he even care what he could lose?

"I don't like lady luck unless she puts a spike through my arm. I feel no pleasure from tension. I don't feel much of anything, that except pain. That is why I joined this organization. I don't like leaving things to a lady that mood swings every which way."

 

Luxord listend to man explaining what fate did not take away from him. "so pain is the only thing you can fell that dissappointing my dear companion but fate always makes decision without us choosing" he said to Gex. The he laughed when heard the massochist oppinion of realying on luck. "true its unfortionatly unpleasent when the dear lady goes off on a rampage but unfortionatly we dont have anything to counsoul the ladys heart before it goes off on a mealstrom of hatred and misfortion" the gambler said to Gex smiling.

 

the bone mancer played with the empty hole in his mouth. He still hadn't regenerated that tooth from that fight. Listening to the gentleman, Gex developed his counter argument.

"Then let us go steal her heart away and fix it so that all of you can get your hearts back."

 

Phenox turned around. "i'll..... just go...." he said hoping to avoid a fight. he began walking away. he just wanted to go in peace... but if there was to be a fight... so be it.

Luxord was having fun having a friendly argument with the missochist he smiled. "oh that what the opportune moment would provide but to our misfortion lady luck cant be seen but yet its distict grace can be resembled in our everyday lives so we are simply chest pieces on the chestboard of fate" he said to Gex smiling to continue the argument. The Gambler continued to playfully shuffle his deck of cards as he waited for Gex to respond to his words.

 

the new guy began to play with the hole in his jaw. His tounge dancing about.

"I hope I'm the queen then. being a pawn suck. Knights are to confusing. A rook or a bishop would be ok I guess. What about you? which piece are you one this big chess board?"

 

Luxord smiled when he thought about what his piece would be he smiled when he figured it out. "so the quenn you pick with her beutifull yet with her infinite prosperity and harsh judgement" he said to Gex smiling . "my fated piece is the honorable knight he stand by the king and also my companion he can agnore the unfatefull restriction of the chestboard by jumping the other pieces and take advantage of the time it would take the others to do the samething" he said to the man smiling. The Gambler did not like the quen piece and was because of his past life being an royal guard of quen of hearts and unfortionatly his sister dissappeard from existence when the quenn tried to kill Alice his sister but instead the heartless did the queens job.

 

"You do know then that the knight has limitations. preparation for attack is difficult. and you strike range is limited. You'd basically be nothing more than a fancy pawn. every move you' make would be..a..gaaamble."

Gex facepalmed at the obvious reason for the choice was.
