A Life to Lead ^_^

Demyx rose his eyebrow surprised at her outbrust. He could say that he was savoring seeing her having internal turmoil. It was about time someone had showed her what guilt was. "I didn't do anything, but talk and get you wet. Geez stop embarrassing yourself. You're not normally like this you know? Turn that frown upside down," He grinned showing his teeth and then frowned when Gex had barricaded himself in front of him. "Um what are you doing?" He lay one hand on his hip. "Remember I was the one that brought you from the Underworld so you should be grateful and stop acting like you have feelings for her. Just because you like pain doesn't mean you can take her away from any of us. She needs to learn what she did was wrong so stay out of it and do as you're told." He pushed him away from her. "Larxene get a hold of yourself. You're embarrassing yourself in front of the boss and normally you would never do that."

Cloud listened to Xemnas's words and was about to answer when he arched his neck seeing another organization member appear with a blond gotee and two younger ones. "I see there are more members I don't know about," he said to himself. "Fine, but heartless are my main objective and if you get a nobody from them that just increases your numbers. Perhaps Demyx will be able to get another dancer." He looked at the confrontation that was occuring. "Do you want me to do something about that?" He signaled with his hand to Gex.

 

"I'm not acting right now and I have no desire to feel obligated you. This isn't about her or what you think are my emotions. This is about pain and this is the best way to get the most at this moment. You have ruined my past pain. This is all I have."

 

Luxord looked at his superior with a smirk he listend to him. "Xeol was more effective but then again Amber has better defense" he said to himself thinking. "my honorable superior i think Xeol should be 16 and Amber be 17" he said to Xemnass. "also what i observed Xeol skills is more effective if he is not fighting in a narrow area and Amber skills are effective for defensive purposes and ranged" The Gambler said to Xemnass telling his information.

 

"Okay then..." he rolled his eyes. "One thing you should know is that new recruits have to listen to the members of the organization that are higher than them, so as we all have to listen to the Superior Xemnas, you have to follow orders from me and anyone higher than you which would include Xigbar, Xaldin, Vexen, Lexaeus, Zexion, Saix, Axel, me, Luxord, Marluxia, Larxene and even Roxas." He grinned. "But you haven't met the others that I speak of except for Axel right?" He waited for his response.

Cloud waited as Xemnas remained silent. "Let me prove my skills to you first hand. Let me show you how I beat Larxene so easily. I can break this little confrontation up in a matter of seconds."He added, placing his hand through his hair and his other hand gripping his sword.

 

Larxene held her fingers to her temples. "You have done something, Demyx." She growled under her breath. "Why else would I hear them words in my head? hmm?" She looked up at him, her eyes instantly connecting with his. "I feel like you've sent an insanity spell upon me."
Pausing, she took two deep breaths. Her mind was racing in a fast-forward motion, and the voice became a mere whisper.
That same thing she had said to Demyx on their past mission, slipped past her lips so only he could hear.
"Whatever happens, I'll come with you. We are in this together." with her eyes narrowed, she didn't stop herself from the words that flowed smoothly. "I'm sorry for hitting you like that..."

 

Leon folded his arms knowing Cloud would do just that. It was like he was stuck in a soap opera. How could these nobodies be acting in a way humans would? He had to know more about them and thanks to his friend they would be given the opportunity to learn some of their ways. "Cloud? I would like to see you show off your skills on Larxene, but take a rain check on that. We should be getting back if you know what I mean."

Axel was suspicious of what Larxene was whispering in Demyx's ear. He did not trust her, but he was not going to cause a scene in front of Xemnas either. Keeping his eyes on the newer recruits, he walked over towards them noticing the one named Amber for he had remembered her slightly, the one he had almost hurt. Taking his eyes off of Amber he starred at Larxene. "So you're actually feeling guilt for a change? Do you really think that Demyx should forgive you that easily so you can ensare him in your web again? Not going to happen bitch. You have lost trust here and have to earn it back."

 

Xemnas raised his hands to quell the chaos that surrounded him.

When I said enough I meant it. Trust, please none of you deserve any trust. Demyx, you disobeyed direct orders and you betrayed Larxene in a futile act to have axel gain more favor. Larxene, you are you, heartless and kiniving. And axel, you turned your back on a close friend just to protect yourself. close your mouths unless it is to follow my orders.

 

Cloud acknowlegded Leon since Xemnas was choosing to ignore him again, but that was his choice. "I know what you mean, but I would like to get proof of our deal by having a contract proposed first." He turned to face Xemnas. "Contracts are an agreement on both parties involved so it is offical otherwise I'm leaving until I get one."

Demyx muttered some words in Larxene's ears. "We'll talk later about it." His eyes were that of slits his other side revealing itself, but instantly he demeanor changed as he gasped when Xemnas rose his arms. He was afraid that the boss was going to summon his powers. "Um I didn't betray her. She did show up late and that is her loss and Axel has been having his assassins around in the worlds anyway so..." He paused of what else he was going to say. "Okay I admit I did disobey direct orders and I was wrong to do that being confused and emotional and fail from my past memories. I thought we were past that," he cringed backing up a few inches with both of his arms spread out by his side and a look of terror on his features. He was afraid he was going to get punished in the process.

Cloud fell silent, his eyes starring at the intimidating display before him. Suddendly having a contract at this very moment didn't sound like it would happen. Backing away he hid his fear and stood by Leon hoping that nothing ominous was going to happen.

 

Larxene nodded, her eyes narrowing as she watched Demyx's body seize up in fright.
The burning on her insides had cooled slightly, and the voice she had heard turned to a mere whisper now. She wondered slightly why cloud was so frightened, too.
Placing her hands on her hips, she let a sigh roll from her exasperated lungs; she was bored of this room, and felt slightly tired now.
Great. Another lecture.

 

Quit with your excuses demyx. Of all of us, you are the worst at it. I ordered you to hunt down the strong hearted. Do it now!

Ignoring the others, the superior turned towards the two sombodies

Very well. Get your papers and writing equipment and let's begin right now. I need you to assist demyx as soon as our business is finalized here.

Excellent, give those two cloaks and bring them, along with gex, to the altar of naught so they my have a proof of existence.

 

Axel frowned and felt a little guilty for that being brought up even though he mentioned it was a test. Still Xemnas always had the last words and if he didn't then Saix did. Axel was glad that Saix wasn't around, but who knows when he would show up. Standing there he shook his head now hearing Xemnas give Demyx another lecture. "Great why can't the boss ever leave him alone? I wonder what that sneaky witch is up to?"

Leon who always carried a pen with him, looked for something to write on. He then got an idea. "Could we go inside and write it out out there. I'm sure you have a desk and a table or a pad of paper right?"

 

Xemnas gave axel a soul piercing glare. He did this only to motivate the flurry. Even he was an embarrassment. All of this talking was getting old. He might as well rid himself of all three of them and bring the number back to thirteen.

Axel, I need to ask you a question. Follow me an the sombodies into the next room.

the amber eyed nobody turned his back on the others and began to walk down a corridor.

 

Luxord nodded then looked over to see Xeol and Amber flirting with each other it seemed like it came natural to them. "Xeol and Amber fallow my honerable superior to the next room" the gambler said to them. Luxord walked over to them giving them their cloaks smiling then watched as they got their cloaks on to make sure they was the right sizes.

Xeol heard the Gambler then turned his attentoin back to Amber "alright i guess your buetifull body and I have to fallow our superior" he said to her smiling. The fog wielder took her hand and held it as they started to walk with Xemnass. For some reason Xeol did not fell wierd holding Ambers hand it seemed it was natural for him and her.

Amber smiled and Gigled when she heard Xeol flirtery. "o thank you handsome" she said smiling before Xeol held her hand. Her face became bright red she was blushing that was something that happend to her often. Amber looked at Xemnass while her and Xeol fallowed him since their superior was wanting them to fallow anyways. She turned her attention back to Xeol and got her body closer to his "i hope we can get some time to relax cause i want us to do something fun later" she said smiling to him.

 

Cloud pulled out another contraption known as a palm pilot as he began writing the coordinates on the screen of what he wanted Xemnas to sign. He then followed Xemnas and showed him the display.

To the parties involved this contract is an abinding agreement that for exchange of services that will be issued and completed in a timely manner, that Xemnas shall agree to pay Cloud Strife and Squall Leonhart aka Leon the amount due that is decided between both parties. In addition, no subject of becoming a heartless or any major physical harm will come to the ones involved. This contract shall remain in effect unless an agreement is broken by the indivduals of one party Cloud and Leon.

"I need to print this out now so we may sign and retain a hard copy and I assume you guys have a computer."

Demyx looked down at the ground for being yelled at once more, but his attention was diverted when he wandered over to the display and read the screen of what the contract was consisting of. "Oh we have a computer and printer. I'll take you there. Boss you need to come to the same room since you have to sign and agree with payment. After all I need to be involved in this since I'm the one that found them."

Cloud shook his head as he spoke to Xemnas. "Leon and I are not going anywhere with any of you unless Demyx is there since he is the one that I seem to trust more than any of you. I know he won't harm me, but I have my doubts about the rest of you."

 

Gex looked over at luxord and the other two recruits

"hey genius. He didn't say follow him. He said that you deliver us to the altar of...whatever."

xemnas looked over the contract.

These terms are unsound. The simple fact that you'd work for me would ensure that you will experience at least some injury. Also, you haven't written down the payment offer yet.

 

Luxord smiled at what Gex said "just watch" he said to Gex as a portal appeard infront of Xeol and Amber making the two nobodies walk into it taking them to alter of naught. "now come and make hast cause time is not to be dwendle with my dear companion" the gambler said as he walked towards the portal that would take him and who ever enterd it to the alter of naught.

 

Shrugging, gex hopped into the portal. Just one more thing and he'd have the power he needed. He just hoped that Larxene would be ok until he got back. He needed her.

"Your a strange one goatee guy."

 

the heartless inched closer and closer. suddenly Phenox got an idea. he stood still. waiting for the heartless to come. once they got close enough Phenox jumped over them and ran through them on the other side. time seemed to stop for a moment. did i get them? Phenox thought. the heartless exploded. Phenox made his blade vanish and breathed a sigh of relief. "that was close." he said. he walked forward. once he entered the new area he saw a huge white castle. "woah..." Phenox said he continued walking forward, entering the castle.

 

Leon followed Cloud and smiled at him. He began following side by side and observing the castle's structure and was amazed how grey and white, and silver it was. "I am with Cloud on this one. He will discuss payment when we are at our location. The rest of the contract stands, but Cloud might modify it a little bit."

Axel seem to tense a bit at the soul piercing glare directed towards him and sighed as he followed Xenmas and the other somebodies in the next room. He starred at Demyx for a second just blankly as if not really okay with this idea had coundered up in his head. Though the flurry had no say in the manner. "Fine, as you wish superior, but this contract will have to be taken place first with you either way." He explained as he showed them to a desk and computer.

 

Xeol did not expect an portal to appear infront of him and Amber but they could not stop in time. "uh ok what the heck just happend" he said to himself then looked at Amber it seemed she was surprissed as well. "hey Amber i think we just got tricked i bet it was Luxord that british prick" he said to amber smiling as Gex appeard by them from the same portal.

Amber gigled at Xeols comment about Luxord she smiled then she saw Gex aswell. "yea i guess we both was too distracted o well" she said to Xeol as he body stayed close to him smiling. she smiled before she gave Xeol an hicky on his neck "o no i guess i left a mark" she said smiling at the fog wielder.

Luxord smiled at Gex once agian that somebody need to play poker with the gambler sometime. The Gambler walked into the portal then walked over to the group that consisted of Gex,Xeol, and Amber. "no gex im not a strange man im just a man who likes to play with fate and chance" he said smiling to Gex then saw Amber give Xeol an hicky on the fog wielder neck "well i guess those two are getting along" he said to himself smiling"now fallow me to get your weapons displayed and to be recorded into our organization history so it proves your part of the natorious organization" he said to the members while he walked over to the small room known as the proof of existence that showed all the members weapons and a few empty blocks that needed to be filled.
