Something still wasn't right. There was something in her eyes. She was more rigid now. Could it be that she had succumb to what axel and demyx had, false emotions?

 

"No. That's your job." Larxene answered, walking to the other end of the room and sitting down on one of the beds. "You're the powerful superior, sir, and I found it in the right respect to let you do the honors of granting our new recruit with a slab on the altar."

 

Very well. Out of curiosity, has he chosen a name for himself? If he has not, can you think of anything? After this is done, I have a mission for the both of you.

Xeol smiled at sight he hated being bored now their fight will be more fun and now he could be more playfull. The fog weilder closed his eyes as fog surrond him and sora again but this time there was darkness in it so it would not be able to be blown away. Xeol started to laugh happily while he made 3 clones beside himself from the surronding fog. "now show me what you can do cause i dont want to become bored" the fog wielder said smiling while he and his clones got in their fighting position.

 

Xemnas began to wonder what happened to luxord and the other recruits. He should be done with his research by now. Lifting his left hand in a claw, the superior attempted to summon the gambler.

Luxord, come.

 

Larxene closed, her ears muting out all sound that occured, beside her own thoughts.
At that moment, she felt like all time had gone from her grip; scenes were replaying themselves in slow motion repeatedly. Ther black underside of her eyelids were like a movie screen, in a sense that the scenes before her were like projections, and she was viewing them in a third-person point of view.
With her teeth gritted, she attempted to ignore what her mind was repeatedly saying to her.
That same saying.
over.
And over.
And over.
Again.
"Whatever happens, I'll come with you. We are in this together."

This was bad, real bad. Larxene seemed to freeze up like when a mouse is noticed by a cat. Gex had to do something, but what? Acting on impulse, the maniac grabbed Larxene around the waist and waited for her to come back. Hopefully, this would cause her to do her usual and snap back to reality.

 

Cloud held up his arm behind Leon's back punching in more coordinates into his comlink that transferred to Aerith. He hoped she was home as he sent a file to her explaining everything that had happened with him and Leon. It was encrited with a password that only he knew and he would open the file for her once he got back to the main headquarters. He just couldn't leave right now since he had no way of getting back. Last he remembered he was shoved through a portal of darkness by Axel and then after that he had entered the same void, but this time it was conjured up by Demyx. And that was when he had carried him to the medical ward. Cloud was feeling tense, wondering what was taking place. "So I think I have it all figured out," he causally took his hand and linked a device to his comlink to charge the battery that was connected to the side of the black belt loop inside one of his pockets, "We have Demyx ask Xemnas for us for I remember his boss saying something along the lines that we are to help them or leave. And this gives us the perfect opportunity."

Demyx's attention was shifted over towards Cloud and Leon. He heard what their conversation was and smiled nodding his head that he would be able to help them out. "Of course guys. The boss seemed to ignore me the first time for some reason, but I will get his attention. "Come." He opened the same void they had traveled through and walked through it making sure Leon and Cloud were following. Dragging them both through, he appeared before Xemnas and saw what Gex was doing to Larxene. Snapping his fingers, water fell from the sky upon him, the frigid substance getting them both wet. "So anyway, he said to Xemnas. "I don't know if you heard me back there or if you chose to ignore me, but I meant what I said and I will get even with her whether you approve of it or not. No one punches me there and gets away with it and if you should be forunate that Axel did give me those magic potions otherwise I would be out of commission." He sent Larxene a glare she would normally give him.

 

Very well then. I hope you know your mission first. You are to track down and capture people with exceptionally strong hearts. If they are too powerful for you alone, I will sent other members for back up. Do you understand this demyx? I hope you understand.

 

Demyx was puzzled by this objective for he thought that the boss had said something before. And now he was being given another order? Making sure to clarify, he held his hand out in front of him. "Wait a sec. Didn't you say that Cloud and Leon could work for us or leave? That's what you said before right? It's their decision and Cloud has agreeded to it."

Cloud was feeling uneasy about the whole matter. He wasn't sure how Xemnas was going to respond. "You did say that I could assist with your goal as long as I'm paid for my services and I don't become a heartless in the process and either will Leon. Those are the terms." He crossed his arms waiting for an answer.

 

xemnas barely even acknowledged them. Terms and payment, was that all they cared about?

Very well, your terms have been made. Assist demyx in his mission. Report back here if you need assistance. I don't want this mission to become another failure, not when we are so close.

 

Larxene didn't move.
She simply sighed and opened her eyes again, the current from her body emitting itself into the water around her. She couldn't concentrate on anything except the sore ache eating away at her insides like a rabid disease wanting to gnaw her flesh away.

 

Gex squeezed harder, trying to bring her back. She can't go, not yet, not unless he goes first. He hand found someone, someone that was everything he needed. That is something he simply can't let go.

"Larxene, stop it. Stop it right now!"

 

Leon was surprised as he smiled at Cloud glad things were working out and that they would be paid for their services. Leon imagined all the munny he would bring back and he would be able to pay off his debts that he owned for the computer security components and also earn enough so he could buy more food and try dishes from different worlds that he always tried. Perhaps he could get enough to buy his own transportation that would take him out of the worlds.

Axel folded his arms starring at Leon wondering what he was thinking and slapped his forehead now that Leon and Cloud would be accompanying Demyx. "This totally sucks and I can't do anything about it without making a scene. I'll just go along with it and see what happens with this whole thing. They better not show me up in anyway though or Leon and Cloud will have a rematch with me." He smirked starrting at Leon.

 

Demyx became excited on the inside screming within, but on the outside he remained calm and lowered his head in high regard. "Thank you Superior. I will not fail you like Larxene and Gex will," he added with a bitterness in his tone. "But hey perhaps you'll have a new target to inflict pain on since he seems to enjoy it." He smirked glancing in their direction glad that he had gotten them soaked. "And don't think I won't use hot water next time," his tone was firm to Larxene walking briskly by her, nudging her on the shoulder on purpose his head up high showing he was indeed higher in command than her. He stopped leaning to whisper something in her ear. "I will get even just you wait. You're not getting off that easy ***** and if you try anything Axel will come to my defense," he flashed a smirk at Axel and nodded his head to him. He stepped away her in case she would try to hurt him keeping his eyes on her and her alone.

Cloud nodded his head and asked a few more questions. "Very well, but I would like this agreement in writing and I would like to know where we will be sent to? Hollow Bastion is overrun with heartless so I think we should start there."

 

The superior arced his eyebrow at the remark. This wasn't going to be easy.

heartless? Who said we were going to be hunting just heartless? You may have your writing, but you must be very specific. I to not want your volitile hearts to boil over because of some fine print.

 

Luxord was watching the battle while he played with his cards. The gambler looked at Xeols and Ambers skill but he also noticed Amber was hesitating a little. Luxord heard his superiors voice he got up then walked over to Amber "our superior wants to be enlightend with our presence" he said to her while he oppend up a portal.

Amber looked at Luxord wandering what he was doing for the whole time. "alright will do" she said happily as she made riku's crystal prison shatter making the man free. Amber walked into the portal then appeard in the same room with all the other members when she walke out of the portal.

Luxord smiled when he saw Amber listen then he went to Xeol walking through all the fog. "alright you had your fun time to head to our superior" the gambler said to Xeol smiling in his british accent.

Xeol looked at the Gambler he sighed sadly as he made all the fog dissappear and his clones disperse as well. The fog wielder looked at Luxord "i was just having some fun man now im gona be board" he said as he walked over to the portal complaining. Xeol looked at sora "dont worry we will have some more fun when we meet again" he said pointing at the keyblader smiling then walked into the portal appearing beside Amber.

Luxord looked at the keyblader smiling "i hope you had a delightful time with our member now i would love to excell your delightment by having a game with you but unfortionatly i have to listen to my superior" the gambler said to sora as he walked into the portal appearing at the same place as Xeol and Amber.

 

Xemnas acknowledge the three new arrivals.

Welcome back luxord. I see you have brought back the other aswell. How were their skills? On another note, which should be sixteen and seventeen? Be quick, there is more that has to be done.

 

Larxene glared at Demyx, his words - just like Gex's had - shattered the facade that had appeared infront of her. The venom-like guilt that was once dripping like a broken pipe was now burst into full-flow.
"What have you done to me?" She demanded, appearing infront of Demyx. Her teeth were gritted tightly together through her growling demand, and were not showing any signs of loosening.
"You have driven me insane." Her breathes came out sharp, with a tight malicious edge to them, like she was going to kill someone there and then. "what the hell have you done!?"

 

Gex rushed forward and threw himself infront of Demyx. He barricaded the water wimp from the thunderous rage. This can't be happening. It wasn't happening. He can't lose her right now.

"Larxene, stop! You are not insane. Trust me, I know these things first hand. Your are not even close to insanity at this moment."
