A Life to Lead ^_^

Cloud was stunned now. "So you're willing to employ me? Is that what I'm hearing?" He asked placing his sword down by his side. He looked at Demyx. "Have I proven myself to him?"

Demyx shrugged at Cloud and nodded as he understood Xemnas's words. "Wow I didn't think that?" He scratched the back of his head. "So am I forgiven and you're not going to punish me?" He played with his fingers, and tried to be strong before his presence.

 

Axel let Mixt fall as he let go of his cloak that he was wearing and then eyed him carefully. He was surprised with his speech, but he wasn't going to let him get in that easily. He was certain that the guy had an agenda."You may think you understand us, but I still don't trust you. You may be a nobody, but there is no proof that you were sworn in to join our allieigiance. I am convinced that you are still a stranger who either wants information on us, or wants to join. Either way you better think quickly because you won't last that long," He held a chakram to Mixt's throat and edged it closer as a few drops of blood to make his point. "Don't try anything stupid, just give me the answer,. Oh and Roxas go ahead and hurt Gex if you want,"

The flurry snapped his fingers as an assassin came to his whim as it wrapped itself around Cloud's body. Cloud joining us? Not that easy. Axel knew what he was doing and wondered how the blonde would react towards it. Xenmas might have gone soft, but Axel hadnt in the cases of recruting members. "I was the one who brought you here and now that I have the information we need. You judge us because you don't understand our ways, yet. You are the one defending someone you hardly know. Perhaps our kind fasinates you. What will you do? Will you sacrifice your life to become one of darkness? Willing to kill innocent lives just to have an heart? All I know is the superior wants only nobodies, but we can change that," He smirked speaking to Cloud, but not taking his threatening gaze at Mixt.


Leon glared at Xenmas, Mixt and anyone else who annoyed him except Cloud and Demyx. His gaze was dangerously on Axel and saw what the lesser nobody was doing to Cloud. His friend had given a good speech and he was proud of him. He however was surprised by the reaction that the red head had done to Cloud. "Cloud! You bully leave him alone. I won't hesistate to kill you," He narrowed his eyes his gun blade out.

 

You haven't disobeyed me yet. Only lost your way.

Cloud, I promise you nothing as of now. Either you help us get our hearts of of the goodness of your own or you leave.

Axel, kill this new nobody. Mixt, defend yourself. That's an order to both of you.

 

Demyx sighed glad that he wasn't in serious trouble, trouble still but not as much as if his life was on the line. He must of had a guardian angel watching over him. Looking at Gex and Larxene, he was not to pleased with how Gex reacted ealier towards him, but he was new so he didn't know the rules yet. He glared at Axel for having his assassin seize Cloud, and he walked over to him, breaking the assassin up from him. He pushed the creature away as it hissed and snarled, but did not attack him."Axel, Cloud hasn't done anything and the boss already said that he could assist us if he wants to so why are you making matters worse?" Walking over to Leon, he placed his arm down so there would be no fights hopefully. "Leon there are not going to be any fights that break out. So you don't have to worry about that." He kept his eye on Larxene knowing her personaility and how much of a trouble maker she could be. It was odd that she was just standing by watching and listening to the whole scenerio without as much saying a single word. He could tell she was planning something.

Cloud watched Demyx come between the assassin and him. "I guess that would only be destroying heartless which I do anyway and I have no problem with that," he fought against the assassin's grip. "I would like to get paid for my services though." He was released due to Demyx's interference and rubbed his arms hoping to get his blood to circulate once more. Once his skin was not numb anymore, his right leg stepped forward as he kept his eyes on the whole group that was present. He lay his hand on Leon's shoulder. "It's all right I can handle what ever comes my way." He let go and stood by him and Demyx, punching in some more coordinates into his comlink thinking this encounter was going to longer than he thought. He kept his blue eyes on Larxene and was prepared if she would attack him or not or least say some rude remark after earlier he had told her to not say anything.

 

Larxene looked at cloud, their eyes meeting. She felt her body tense at the mere thought of him joining the organisation; he was just too... not-right.
After forcefully rewording her rant, she allowed herself to open her mouth.
"What the hell? We are letting him join the organisation? Are you kidding? look at him." she looked the warrior up and down, her face painted with disgust. "A man of his standard doe not deserve to shine the boots of the superior, never mind worship them."

 

Phenox gulped and shifted his keyblade and his body into a different stance, preparing for the attack. the heartless inched closer. "aw man. why is it always me?" he said with despair.

 

Cloud shook his head, disgusted by her words. "You're not the one in charge are you? I don't care if it benifits you. You're just along for the ride and are pissed off that my skills are better than your own. I'm a warrior and faced adversity and have fought opponents with speed. My own beats yours hands down and you can't stand it."

Demyx knew she was going to open her big mouth. She could never keep anything to herself. Standing over her since he was taller he eyed her 5'4 stature compared to his 5'9 or 5'10. "Larxene think of what you're saying? This is for the best of the organization. You're just sore that he beat you when you fought. Face it. There are better fighters than you. Get over yourself." That felt pretty good to stand up to her. It made him feel like he could take on anyone and it was like a huge weight was lifted off his chest. He was standing up for himself in front of Xemnas, letting his status be known that he was indeed higher than her.

 

Larxene smiled. "Awww... Demyx... you and your speeches. So moving." She changed her stance slightly, looking down to her fist. It's at the right level to hit him somewhere... she though with that same smile. "You wanna know what else is moving? hmm? My fuckin fist in your nuts." She followed through with her words, letting her fist snap out and hit demyx right where he didn't want to be hit, especially when he was standing up to her. She stepped back, expecting him to vomit infront of her from the electric charged punch.
"See? I was right wasn't I?" She giggled, watching the nocturne before her.

 

Axel's mouth about dropped opened, but deciding to take care of Larxene first, he took a good look at Mixt and then sliced him knocking him unconscious perhaps. A more severe punishment was in gear and he would make her suffer as well. "Larxene that was strictly uncalled for. You witch why the hell would you do something like that?" He confronted her, his anger getting the best of him with his fist clenched he punched her square in the chest where it would hurt her girls and then lashed his leg out forcing her to fall face down on the ground, but he wasn't done when he slammed his foot on her back. "Don't you ******* do that again or I will maim you next time," he waited for her to get up, but if she attacked him she would find herself with an open a chakram to the face,foot, fist or anywhere else. He was deadily serious on this and rage was filling his fire if she provoked him. "No, guy deserves that, but that is what you get, instigating b*tch!" He growled.


Leon did his best to stay out of it. He kept his distance, but was nearly cheering when he saw what Axel had attacked Larxene. He only hoped that Cloud was not going to lose his temper and attack as well. "Sure Cloud," He began looking for something to cool the pain, but then remembered he had carried a water bottle and luckily for him it had ice in it. "Here, that was a low blow," he glared daggers at Larxene.

 

Larxene winced, hitting the ground hard. She let a current flow through her body, in a mere hope it would connect with axel. "Argh..." she mumbled, her face creasing immensely.
She quickly stood up and brushed herself off, glaring at Axel the whole time. "What...what...what does this have to do with you?" she growled, her breathing unsteady. "F-first I talk to cloud, Demyx g-gets involved. Then y-you get involved."
She hunched over slightly again, her eyes closing as she held back a scream. Her chest felt on fire from that damn punch, which made her temper rise more. She couldn't help but let out a short moan in pain, and when she did, it let out short sparks of electricity from her body.

 

Cloud gasped not expecting Larxene to do such an inhumane thing. All guys could relate to that sensitive area. He dropped his sword and was at Demyx's side knowing all to well how much pain he was in.The poor guy was whimpering and cursing underneath his breath, as he was pale and gasping hunched over from the severe pain he was experiencing. "You ****ing ***** "You're going to pay for that. Leon thank you so much," he caught the water bottle and placed it where it needed to be. He glanced at Roxas. "Aren't you going to help your team mate and friend?"

Demyx screamed so loud, that the windows shattered in the castle, alerting the lower nobodies that something was not right. He pounded his fists on the ground, cursing every swear word under his breath for what she had done. He couldn't even defend himself for she was to quick for him to dodge the blow. "Why? How would you like it if I were to hurt you on your breasts!" He wished he was the one hurting her instead of Axel, but Axel was doing a better job. Demyx staggered to get up, whailing as loud as he could and stomping his feet wishing for the pain to leave him. The ice was helping a little bit, but damn it still stung and burned. He hoped he wasn't damaged or he would damage her in an sensitive area. The tears were running down his face as he pointed to her. "You're going to regret this Larxene. No guy in their right mind would ever let you harm him there." With his weapon still out, he held it in his right arm attempting to strike her with it.

 

Axel kept his eyes locked on her his fury growing even more with each second. "Shove it, you know exactly why I did it," The eletricity sparks didn't harm him, but only made his element grow more. It was some sign of self destruct release of anger, and he kept his eyes as they glazed with fire making sure she wasn't going to try anything else. "I admit, I don't agree with letting him join as one of us, either, but you were the one who stepped forward and let him have it in the wrong way. You have no one to blame, but yourself Larxene," his weapons spung threateningly as fire had glazed them.

"I think the poor kid is just shocked of what had happened." Leon replied as he patted them both on the shoulder to try to show some kind of human comfort. He couldn't believe that this was in fact a woman. Did she always get away with being abusive? Or did she want some kind of attention on the fact that she was being ignored.

 

In a desperate attempt Demyx tried to strike Larxene with his sitar while she was being dealt with by Axel, but that turned out to be futile for his nerves were sending to many impulses to his brain signaling he was out of commission and could not attack without aggravating the injury. Dropping his weapon on the ground, he wobbled over falling on his side as he leaned ready to throw up."Damn her! She better not get away with this," he was huddled in a feeble ball and was hunched over crying in his hands for the intensity was not leaving him alone. He sniffed and acted like a child to be expected of an injury of that caliber.

Cloud nodded. "That may be the case Leon, but you would think he would help him unless he is not choosing to which I don't understand?" He turned his neck to the left to eye Roxas out of the corner of his eye. "I bet it is just shock though." He kneeled before Demyx rubbing his back and doing his best to keep him calm. "Poor guy. He needs to get away from the likes of her. And she is going to pay Leon. Mark my words she will pay for what she did."

 

It was official,Xemnas was a good-for-nothing idiot who only bullied on the weak.When a new person comes in the picture he doesn't care what they do.What a loser.Scoring at Gex, Roxas looked at the display that took place with the child and was pretty amazed...except he didn't believe Xemnas somehow.Perhaps it was just some hate he had for not taking care of the new guy.Unexpectedly, Demyx and Larxene got into a spat, and what was even MORE unexpected, Demyx stood up to her, only to receive a blow to the baby blue's.

...Ouch.That even made the Keywielder wince in shock.

"What's wrong with you? Just because he made a point doesn't mean you should do that!" Roxas exclaimed to the Nymph, eyes widened as he saw Axel strike Larxene..which seemed a little harsh to do like that, but what she did was horrible.Still, seeing her chest heave and her stuttering made him feel a little bad for her..but maybe from this experience she'd learn not to react so cruelly.

Cloud, he gave an annoyed stare at.The older blond already placed the bottle in the appropriate area, and Roxas was supporting him verbally instead of beating Larxene to death, which is what most of them would like to do in the first place.He would've asked Demyx if he really needed anything until Axel summoned his weapons in his hands, heat sparking from them.

It was getting out of hand.

"Axel, wait a second.This is getting too far..after that punch and shove, I think she's learned her lesson already." he moved toward Axel and Larxene, hoping to try and get each to stand down.

 

Demyx couldn't take it anymore. He had to get away from her. He had to find some place where she wouldn't find him and try to hurt him again. Damn his cockiness. He was only attempting to prove himself before the boss letting her know that he was higher in rank than her and then she retailates letting him have it in the jewels. Gagging, his stomach retched nothing coming up except for some blood. Whimpering and shivering he couldn't face having Roxas see him in the condition he was in. What would he think of him now? Nothing but a whiny baby not fit to be in the organization. Thinking quickly he pulled his hood over his head to hide his identity and quietly sobbed into his gloved hands.

Cloud saw the glance from the one who resembled his own hairstyle and looked away. He had heard him, but was attending to Axel now speaking to him requesting that he leave Larxene alone and looked like he was going to break up a fight. Cloud didn't care though. His priority was set on Demyx and helping him. Even if he was a member of the notrouriou organization, Demyx had gone out of his way to help him, defend him aganist the likes of her and now was suffereing for it. He needed to be away from this whole group of violent animals. He did not derserve what had happened to him.

 

Larxene straightened up, staggering back slightly.
This is going to get out of hand. she thought to herself, sighing. She winced as her deep breath outward caused her sharp pain deep within her upper ribs. She looked at Axel's chakrams and staggered back more, her kunai appearing in her hands.
"Axel..." She wheezed, taking a few shakey steps back, her eyes sharp. "D-do you think I'm gonna step b-back and let you hurt me any more..?" her voice was a low mumble, without the sharp energy it usually held.
Axel's punch had seemingly taken alot from her, and yes, she had to admit she did deserve the first punch to stop her from going further...
But she would expect Demyx to react worse than this ginger bastard had. He was beginning to irritate her, actually.

 

Xemnas was stunned by the sheer volume of chaos and idodicy coming from his own soldiers. Flushing his face red, the superior let out a monsterous roar

ENOUGH! Enough enough enough! This is my organization? my elite? You are all nothing but children. Worthless, clueless children. what do you have to say for yourselves?

 

Axel glanced at Roxas as he was now involved and he decided it was best to step down since Roxas was the only nobody he would listen to. "Fine, but she better not ever do that again or come close to it," he kicked her in the chest, disgusted with her as a nobody. "Okay Roxas want do you think should happen now?" He stepped away from her waiting for her to get up on her feet. He glanced at Demyx and how much agony he was experiencing all that could have easily been avoided in the first place. He was glad that Roxas was there otherwise he would of ripped Larxene to shreds. He was caught off guard at the way Xemnas reacted. Never had he seen him so full of fake rage. "Boss if you would just calm down and let us explain. We'll tell you what happened."

Leon gripped his friend's shoulder getting control over his own emotions. "I agree Cloud. If there is anything you need help with you just let me know." He rubbed Demyx's back offering as much kindness as he could knowing he was part of the ones that did take hearts, but what mattered at the moment was that he would be all right. By the looks of things, it wasn't going to be that way anytime soon, not with the sudden fear he was getting from Xemnas.

 

Xemnas backhanded the flurry across the face

No! no more talking. no more of this in fighting. Now is the time for action and action alone!

 

Demyx shivered like a child, a lost alone young one who needed the comfort of others. True he didn't have a heart, but he could feel pain as he rolled on the ground screaming in agony. "Axel?" He moaned after the flurry was struck across the face. Laying on his side, he looked up at Xemnas who was showing phantom rage. "He didn't deserve that. If that was meant for anyone it should have been for Larxene since she is the one that struck me where it hurts. And thanks to her I'm not going to be any use at all." He whined, his cries of pure terror and blindly pain ringing through the exterior of the castle and into the interior so all the members of the organization would hear.

Cloud rubbed his back knowing his pain was getting worse. "Oh man he needs medical attention I bet," he looked at the others. The ice form Leon's water bottle had already melted and he couldn't just leave Demyx sobbing hysterically on the ground like that. The poor guy would need therapy after this. He doubted he would never be the same. Cloud did his best to keep him calm, keeping him from getting up for he was afraid he might hurt himself more.
