A Life to Lead ^_^

"Those hearts belonged to people once.Taking them away just because you lost yours isn't the right thing to do!" Sora said, getting ready to try out a Drive Form to end this battle.

 

Amber reflections on the crystal walls shook their head before sighed sadly. "i gave a chance to continue enjoying happyness before you felt deaths uncaring hands but you denied that chance" she said saids as the relfecions dissappeard. Then suddenly the top of the crystal walls connected making a roof while the walls started to grow spikes. Amber focused on the spiked walls making them get closer to each other.

 

Riku stared at Amber. 'What is she trying to do? If those walls are up, I wont be able to get in. That would be toublesome.' The teen stood straight up, trying to look none threating.

 

Demyx listened to the suggestion Cloud presented to Leon and he had to think before he spoke. It seemed like a good opportunity and it would get him closer to finding out more about the truth, but in a way it was another form of deciet if he were to think he could become more human without actually having a heart he was only fooling himself all along. There were pros and cons to this and he had to look at them through every single angle. Should he pass up on this once in a lifetime opportunity and what harm could it do? In the long run it would benifit him knowing he was bettering himself and being open minded rather than close and narrowed minded like most of the others of the organization. He should do what was best for him, but there was that one vital factor hanging over his head like a guillitine ready to execute a scared victim. He had to be careful of not to be seen as a traitor knowing what his direct orders from Xemnas were and how many chances he had recieved before coming close to his own foreshadowing actions that could lead to his doom. Perhaps if no one were to find out and that he would see them in private it could work, but there was always that slim chance of something going wrong. What should he do? He wanted to be friends with them knowing it was better to have them as allies than enemies and he didn't have a vendetta against them for it would take someone with a heart to experience that. On the other hand, it was a risky move on his part and he would be forced to deny the whole thing if a member were to discover what he did. He was in one of those situations where he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't? It couldn't wallow on this decision forever.
"Well I consider myself to be eccentric and unique in so many ways compared to the rest of the organization and I don't have any problems with either of you so why not?" He shrugged his shoulders. "I have to do what is best for me anyway. I mean us nobodies have our own intentions and we only do as we are told since we have no choice, but this chance of becoming more human is my decision and my decision alone and I'm going for it."

Cloud glanced at his friend and gave him a thumbs up. Things were working out perfectly at the present time. This was just the news Cloud was hoping to hear. Demyx was indeed the only member that he could converse with and hope to influence. "Excellent and Leon and I will help you every step of the way and you don't have to worry about sides either since I consider myself to be neutral. Your organization should not have a problem with that and if they do then that's thier loss." His eyes peered through the darkness as he thought he heard something, but it was probably a bat lurking about or one of Demyx's dancers. "So with that said Leon and I will show you the first thing you need to know about being human is being able to tell who is friend or foe. Friends are others who you can reply on who will never let you down or betray your trust and can rely on in your time of need." Cloud explained pointing to his friend Leon to use as an example.

"Oh I see... So you're talking about someone you can promises with, trust them with every being and have no doubt in your mind that they will make backstab you? Oh... Then that must be Axel since I respect him and can trust him with anything I say to him. He's a great guy, someone I look up to and he's always there for me when I need him well most of the time anyway," Demyx waved his hand in a circle explaining to the two warriors about the flurry of dancing flames and how much he meant to him.

Cloud gazed at Leon with a puzzled expression knowing that Axel was the same indivudual that nearly killed Leon. This was very awkward. "Uh yeah sure," he hestitated to say.

 

Xeol smiled while he threw the 2 gient balls of fog into the air. The balls of fog exploded making fog spread up into the sky making the dark night turn gray. The fog wielder landed softly on the ground then looked up at the sky focusing on the fog above summoning daggers in the sky. "so many tears i shed as i lost my heart so much pain" he said while he looked up looking at the daggers up in the sky as they sparkled like stars. Then Xeol looked at Sora "now i want you to experiance what i did" he said with an sedistic grin as millions of daggers started to fall from the sky.

 

"WAAK!?"

"UH OH!"

Sora panicked for only a moment, then remembered what Yen Sid had taught him in the short time they spoke.His friends were counting on HIM this time, not the other way around."Reflect!" he shouted, bringing his Keyblade to his right and casting a barely visible shield of light to deflect the daggers away from the group.

 

Xeol looked at his daggers being deflected he heard what Sora shouted. "so he used reflec such a pain" he said to himself while he looked at Sora. "stop under estimating me use your full power" the fog weilder said to Sora as fog and darkness swirled around his body.

The walls for Ambers technic was set up now time for Riku to suffer. Amber made the roof of the crystalize trap open while she jumped out of it. Then she looked at Riku giving the boy an smile before the walls swung to sides of Rku "now time for you to be a gem your buety will be forever saved" she said as all the walls was surronding riku. The roof of the trap formed making riku sealed in as Amber was outside focussing on the structure the boy was stuck in.

 

Leon nodded his head at Cloud agreeing with his comment, but he had not unexpected Demyx to say anything that would sterr the conversation about the one who nearly ended his life. From hearing the name he nearly dropped his cup and his eyes turned forward to gaze at Demyx with an skepical and untrusting glance. He had recalled he was the cocky one, but still why he even mention him let alone trust that freaky red headed fire flamer. "Uh, I don't think so. He is a killer who wanted to take my heart and he would suceeded if Cloud didn't find me in time. How is he any different than the rest?" He raised an eye brow at Cloud this time. "Nobodies don't feel compassion nor do they care who they hurt so how are going to make him more human Cloud? Hmmm." He leaned towards getting to close to his comfort zone. He turned towards Demyx. "Do you really think you can pull this off ? How about your so called family. I am sure they might have sent a spy and then they could get rid of you."


Axel kept himself in the shadows where only his eyes were visble because of the darkness in the cavern. He had decided he had heard enough nor did he want to be bashed to death most likely by Cloud and Leon. He was still skeptical of Demyx's plan and he wondered if he was still loyal to the organization though he was keeping secrets now. In his mind he believed that Demyx had a reason for acting this way. Maybe the Melodious Noturne was lonely and wanted companionship. This is something that Axel could relate to since his friendship with Roxas. No matter if other members that dispised it or called it indifferent or an illusion. This is something that Axel didn't care what they thought and would do what he wanted. His goal was to get a heart more than anything and being rebellious was just something he had strived in with his memories and who he was as a nobody. This is where they have simialrity, however Roxas was one of them. The humans were different and the red head knew that things would collide since he was an enemy to the ones who his underling had befriended. He wondered whose side his friend would choose if he was in an unpredictible situation. He would find out his intentions and then decide from there to see if he was worthy to be trusted or not. He slowly decended from the shadows revealing himself his posture stern and not at all relaxed, but tense in the terms of the method of don't mess with me or I will kill you. "So this is where you guys are hiding. How very convenient to think that I wouldn't find you both here. Demyx, I am disappointed in you, what else are you keeping from me? You better have an good explanation or else your ass is grass," He stated his eyes narrowed dangerously with fire glints in them.

 

Larxene nodded, her hands still lightly resting on her hips. She licked her lips and let a small cough rumble through her chest as she felt slightly nervous as to how her superior would react to such a smartass reply.
She looked up, looking at Xemnas. "Should I give the newbie a tour?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

 

Not until the recruits give us their numbers and proofs of existance. You of all of us should know this Larxene.

Xemnas stared blankly down at the pair. Something seemed off, what exactly that was he wasn't sure. Still, at least the new was is obidient, for now. Larxene on the other hand failed him. maybe he should split them up.

 

"Apologies, sir." Larxene bowed her head solemnly before her master. "I-I really don't know what I was thinking." the look on Xemnes' face was enough to tell her that something was being planned in his head, and that something will not be benificial to her.

 

Phenox was walking when he stoped in his tracks. something didn't feel right. he shook off the feeling and continued walking. he took no more than two steps when what seemed like an army of heartless appeared.

 

So tell me, what should this, newcomer, be numbered? Also, will you choose his proof of existance or will you?

 

"I-I thought that you may want to do that..." Larxene mumbled, swallowing again. She looked up, regaining her confidence. "You are the superior, so musn't you do your job, sir?"

 

I am the superior Larxene, that is why I can delegate and give you orders. That is why I am giving you the order to give that nobody a number.

 

Cloud could get a sense that Leon was still frusterated and he had a right to be, but he needed to move on past that for now. They would discuss it more into detail later. "Leon, can we get past this for now? The point is if Demyx says something entirely different then we should take his word for it. He knows him more than we do so that's all that we can go by right now." His blue eyes sent Leon a warning of his own not to make the tension between them more noticeable. "The first thing to making him more human is to understand what he is going through rather than blindly say that it can't be done. We have to compromise on that part." Cloud normally was aloof and narrow minded himself, but since Demyx did help him out finacially he was greatful and wanted to fullfill his gratiude.

Demyx was afraid Leon would say something so negative, but it wasn't his problem to worry about. This was Demyx's choice and Leon didn't have to worry about what happened to him. "I know what I'm doing and I wouldn't really call the organization my family unless you're referring to all the bickering and squabbles like all families have," he laughed until he spotted a certain red haired nobody come out of the shadows and surprise him. Demyx saw Axel's expression and how upset he was ready to kill Leon and Cloud on the spot. "Axel! I uh what brings you here? Right stupid question to ask. Ok I know this is going to sound weird and all, but Cloud and Leon are teaching me to become more human." He couldn't lie to him since he was his best friend and Axel deserved to know the truth. "I just want to be friends with them so don't assume anything else and before you say another word just know that you owe me and you know what I'm talking about."

"This is just great. When matters were supposed to be kept hidden everything gets revealed." He stared at Leon making sure he was all right and then starred at Demyx confronting Axel. Cloud had his weapon in his hand in case there was to be an ambush. He would defend Leon and Demyx from Axel if he had to.

 

Larxene sighed. "Well it's kinda obvious, right? He's obviously gonna be number fourteen..." she mumbled again, her forehead creasing. She hated it when the superior was lazy like this.

 

Really, last I checked we already had a fourteen member. We lost her during a conflict. The details escape me however. No matter, what have you chosen for his proof of existence?

Leon felt confused but didn't want to argue with Cloud who was giving him a glance that spelt trouble. If there was anything he knew about Cloud it was that the blond warrrior was not one to be messed with especially being the light and the opposite of the light being the dark or in other words Sephiroth. "Ok Cloud, I trust your judgement, but just let us take it one step at a time. Remember what Aeridth said. "It's best to show compassion to others, but I say don't let it go to your head." He hoped he knew what Cloud was doing. "So I guess you're saying that Organization XIII is like a real family then? Well when you put that way, you and Cloud and I are not so different," he grinned in a content manner folding his arms. His grin faded when he saw the one who tried to kill him before appear and was now speaking to Demyx. "Look Cloud and I just want to be friends with him. There is nothing more or nothing less. You should not have a problem with that," he was feeling a tad nervous as he kept close to Cloud and had his weapon ready to strike with if provoked.

Axel glared at Demyx not liking this attuide of his and then Leon was interrupting with his own comment. He had to make a choice of what he was going to do and how he should deal with the matter. It was true that he did promise Demyx a favor, but if he kept his mouth shut and if the boss would find out that he was involved then he could easily face some consequence. Axel had to protect his own @ss when it came down to it. "That's a really big secret that could endure me more of a chance to become a dusk than anything. Is that what you really want? For my existance to fade away so you can keep your secret. I'll answer this for you. Of course not Axel. So how I see to solve this problem is to let you tell the boss yourself and tell you what. You'll take Cloud and Leon with you and that way we'll see what he says or does to you," he opened up a void and pushed all three of them through it. The portal led to the Altar of Naught as Leon and Cloud crashed out upon the ground caused by the shove of Axel. He held onto Demyx by his arm and dragged him towards the exit of the Corridors of Darkness.
