A Life to Lead ^_^

Lexaeus followed close behind.

The parameters of the leaders orders were rather flexible. If we do find any obstacles, the best thing to do is eliminate such obstacles. Maybe we should talk to vexen, get his hands dirty.

 

Shaking his head he observed the actions of the others that were watching them. "Larxene must you always insult everyone? Geez what am I going to do with you?" he let go of her hand. "To say the truth this is normally how she is, but I would like to know your skills. Have you heard of Organization XIII?" he asked.

Cloud was resting his head on the pillow and before he knew it he had fallen asleep. He stirred thinking of the the images that played in his mind ones of Sephiroth, the fight that had unfolded today and the young member known as Demyx who had helped him. Waking up in a cold sweat, he felt his heart for it was beating rapidly. "He said he would come looking for me, but the question is how will he find me?''

 

The man began to stratch his head. Being bound up like that really does a number on a nobody's memory.

"organization 13....are you the nuts trying to get your hearts back?"

Being so dazed, the man seemed completely harmless, even vunerable.

 

"Yeah and I'm sure you want the same thing right? Isn't that what all nobodies are in search for? The boss says it is the reason why I exist." He starred at Xeol now. "Don't you want your heart back as well?" Turning his focus he reached out his hand. "I would like to know your name and if you would be interested in joining our group?" he asked once more.

 

The man slumped his shoulders. This did not fit into his schedule. He had alot more to do at the moment than chasing after something like that. Still, it didn't hurt to have backup. Maybe he will get what he is after faster this way.

"Sorry, whatsyourname, but I will only join your group on one condition."

 

Demyx shifted his weight to his other foot wondering where the heck Hades ran off to. He heard more monsters in the distance that loomed somwhere deep in the underworld. The sooner he got out of this place the better for him and Larxene. '"Let me hear you out first and then I'll give you my name, but you must tell me yours." He stretched out his arms, feeling a tad fatigued from being in Hades's domain for so long.

 

The man gave a simple smile and stuck out his hand in a greeting.
It seemed fair enough.

"The name is Gexlion, call me gex. My condition is this. When we get our chance to regain our hearts, Don't let me get mine."

 

"Okay what ever you say. I'm Demyx and that is Larxene," he pointed to her. "Why on earth would you not want your heart? I thought all nobodies shared that goal?" He was confused and thought this new fellow now known as Gex was strange. He shivered again from the creepy feeling in the air and the dismal atmosphere the Underworld was known to be.

 

Gex waved at the two members of the organization.

"Hey demyx, hey roachhead. Now let me tell you Demyx, not wanting my heart is simpler than you make it out to be. Would you like to know?"

 

Placing his hand over his mouth he tried not to laugh at what Gex had called Larxene. "Roach head? That's funny dude." Snickering he would keep that insult for later. "Yeah go ahead and tell me and then I'll take you and him," he pointed at Xeol "back to the castle with me. You can meet my boss and he is very dangerous might I add. I'm not on his most favorite list of nobodies," he gestured his hands spreading his two of his fingers out in the air like signaling that his sentence was in important therefore the quotaiton marks of the form of his two fingers were obvious.

 

Gex smiled a wide smile.

"It is very simple actually. You see, I can't remember who I was before all of this. I've have done things to try to fill that void, terrible things. If I do get my heart back I will also get my memories. If I was a good person, the grief would destroy me. Therefore I found a substitute.

 

Axel looked up at the superior and smirked evily. Finally he had his chance to get even with them. "I thought that you would never ask. I wouldn't glady watch over those two," He was about to leave when he heard Xenmas mentioned Lexaeus. He froze for a moment on hearing this. "What do you mean give me complete control over Lexaeus? He is a better subornate for Zexion," He never really got along with him that much and half the time the silent hero kept to himself with his comrade Zexion. Either reading or doing chores from his standards that he remembered.

 

The superior looked down on the flurry and gave the most subtle of smiles.

"That much I know, but if he is good at anything it is following through on and order. Such skills would be useful for dealing out order in your situation. Keep in mind, I said only if you need to. Not a moment sooner. Do I make myself clear?

 

Demyx was making sense in all of this finally. So that was the reason why he didn't want his heart. Nodding, he formed a tight fist then spread his fingers as the darkness came forth once more. "Okay good enough answer, but say something different that the boss would want you to say otherwise you may not be able to join," he seized Larxene's hand, and then Xeol's not wanting to lose track of another nobody as well. "Are you coming?" he asked Gex as the dancers went in the void.

 

Axel nodded his head thinking of what Xenmas meant by that. "Yes, that will be fine." He thought if there was something to say. "What if they complete their mission, then where would you want them to go?" He asked his back facing him once again. The flurry knew that Xenmas meant well.

 

"Don't make me hurt you..." Larxene growled, eyeing Gex. "You're just a worthless bag of bones." She sighed, shaking her head. She let her hand fall limp as the Nocturne took it, and didn't think anything of his daring actions towards her, although once she thought about it, she put it on her list of multiple reasons to beat Demyx up later. "And hun," She looked back at Gex with a cocky smile. "At least my head isn't decomposing. Mr. Zombie-man."

 

Gex began to walk towards the portal, but stopped just a inch or so before it.

"Um, sure demyx. Theres one problem though. What do you want me to tell him? I haven't had much experience in lying. So this is kinda tricky."

Xemnas continued to look down upon his inferior. All these question, He truly did care about those two. He cared where the organization was going. Stepping down, the superior walked over to axel and gripped his shoulder softly.

Bring them here. I want to see the results with my own eyes.

Again the man's smile graced his face. Arrogant, bias, superiority complex, and now she was blind too? She was become more and more useful with each passing retort. Maybe just a little more and it will work.

Inching ever closer, Gex began to raise his chin high and began to thumb his nose.

"Not only are you stupid but blind aswell? As you can see on closer inspection, my noggin is in better shape then yours. If you can't see that then I bet you can't even land a finger on me."

 

Xeol smiled at how Gex was making larxene mad "Roach head good one" he said laughting a little. The fog wielder stoped cause he did not want face the womans furry. Xeol looked at the two members then at the man known as Gexlion "so your recruiting for your organization iv been sooo boored lately can i join" he said to them smiling. Xeol wanted to learn what was the purpose of organization 13.

 

Larxene snapped at the man they called 'Gexlion'.
She span, her body a mere blur, and his Gex on the nose. The impact of her fist making contact forced a loud crack to echo through the tunnel. Once her body hand touched his, she sent a smooth current to flow through her arm and blast Gex backwards and into the wall behind him.
"Arrogant son of a Bitch." She growled, kicking his stomach with the same force- if not greater - than her punch had applied.

 

Such a wave of utter pain. Yes yes, this was exactly what he wanted. The raw agony. The only thing even close to emotion he could possess. Peeling himself off the wall, Gex began to snicker. Soon, the snicker grew into an uncontrolable laugh. The laugh of a madman.

"I think I'm in love."
