A Life to Lead ^_^

Being in so much pain, Demyx managed to wiggle free and fell deeper into the hole now being covered in sand. He was fortunate that his backside was not being getting kicked still, but now he had to worry about another problem on his hands. Sencing the superior's summoning telepathic notion, he cringed when he suddendly remembered he was supposed to go to the Underworld. "Oh no how am I going to explain this to him? He was literally going to blast me last time and I nearly got out of there, but now he is summoning me back to him and I have no choice, but to get over there or else..." digging his way up, he spit out the sand from his mouth, ran into the water and began rolling around to get the sand off of him. "I got to go. Tell Larxene that I'll be right back. The boss is summoning me," he said to Axel and conjured up a vast portal of darkness as it took him to the corridors of darkness where then he appeared before Xemnas at the Altar of Naught. Approaching him with caution, he remembered his flesh was exposed and hanging around his waist. Quickly putting his sleeves through and zipping his silver zipper up, his appearance was soaking wet and sandy. "You wanted to see me?" he asked while placing his hands at his side with his head slightly down.

 

lowering his hands, xemas saw what he expected. Dripping from head to toe in sandy slush, it didn\'t take a genius to figure that the water mage had failed him once again. It seems now would be the best time to make good on his threats. Before that though, it was appropriate to go through the motions. Furrowing his brow and folding his arms. xemnas addressed the delinquent in his ranks.

\"Where were you?\"

 

Now he had done it. Xemnas was gazing at the pathetic sight of him and he knew he was going to get it. "I... I was at Destiny Islands in the ocean for I was restoring my power before heading to where I'm supposed to go. I guess I did get a tad carried away with exposing my flesh to the sun and all, but the warmth felt so good and I figured I would take a small break before heading to that place. I didn't see any harm at all in it," he wrung out his cloak as the water dripped and fell on the sacred ground that he and Xemnas stood on. "I was in the ocean as you can tell," he smiled sheepishly trying to get himself more comfortable and look more appropriate before the leader of the organization. "I'm going to get it aren't I?"

 

\"Yes\"
At the very least he was sensible enough to know when the game was over. Maybe there was some hope for him yet. Summoning his aerial blade, the superior walked up to his vicim untill there eyes locked. \"Anymore words left to escape the maw of judgement?\"

 

Fiddling with his fingers he was nervous as one could be. His teeth were chattering, his eyes were wide and he was prespiring all over. "I'm sorry," he backed away as the aerial blades came closer to him. "Boss I really did have a good reason for what I did," he wasn't sure what to do next and closed his eyes cowering in fear. "But let's think about what you're going to do before you slash me with those," the heat was radiating towards him. He opened his eyes and gasped several times. "Is it worth it to put me out of commission for who knows long?" His mind was coming up with all sorts of excuses. "I couldn't help myself and I myself blame for my memories for my screw ups. I'm young so I'm supposed to be like this right? I'm very useful to you, well my element is since it brings forth life and take away life. I didn't mean to mess around. I wasn't thinking," he fell to his knees at Xemnas's feet begging for forgiveness. "Please show mercy. I can't help the way I am. I'm trying to do as you ask, but my mind gets side tracked easily. Please Superior," he gripped his boots, shedding tears "Don't strike me with those!" It was truly a pathetic sight to see, but it was all Demyx could do. He wouldn't dare to summon his sitar for that would be treason if he fought back.

 

the smell of ozone choked the air as xemnas slashed demyx\'s arm. Fortunately, it was merely a graze. Xemnas dipersed his blade and grabbed the failure\'s throat. Lifting him aloft until his feet no longer touched the ground.

\"It appears your words have failed you just like you failed me.\"

In a faux rage, the superior threw demyx into the altar\'s wall and cracking the finish.

\"Get up and follow my orders. the mark is purely superficial. You have thirty seconds to make it to the underworld. If you deviat at all from my plan, there will be more to worry about than a scratch.\"

 

Luxord could tell Xemnass was back but not happy "well time to meet your superior" the gambler said while he put his cards back in his pocket. Luxord made a portal to the alter of naught he and Amber walked into it. "oh my honorable superior i bring forth an companion that could be of value to you" the gambler said as he bowed respectfully to Xemnass.

Amber looked at Xamnass she thought he looked cute. But she was nervous she saw a man was leaning against the wall "ouch that must hurt" she said to herself then looked at Xamnass. "hi im Amber" she said to him smiling.

 

Who were this person? From what he could tell, luxord had brought in a possible new member. Turning toward the gambler, the leader addressed one of his few reliable members.
"Luxord. Explain this woman please. Tell me everything I need to know."

 

Luxord smiled he could tell his superior was pleazed with him. "with pleasure superior" the gambler said smiling before he continued talking. "she became a nobodie recently i found her durring my recruitment mission to twilight town her element is crystalization meaning my fine gentlemen she can form crystals on any surface such as water and etc that can defend or attack its quite beutifull and effective at the same time" Luxord said to Xamnass.

Amber was surprisse Luxord actually listen to her while they talked. "Leo where are you" she said to herself while she let Luxord tell Xamnass about her ability

 

Expressionless as a blank slate, xemas hid his vast interest in this new asset. "intriguing. most intriguing."

Crystlyzation of water, with every passing minute demyx was losing valuable favor. Still, this woman was an unknown. Maybe more information was neccesary.

Xemnas walked up to the prospect and stroked her face.

"Give me a demenstration."

 

Flinching his right arm he held with his left as he looked at his right sleeve of his cloak that was slashed and now revealing his flesh. It appeared to be a small burn, but it was a cause for concern. The sheer terror was in his horrified expression, his life flashing before his eyes while the consticting of his throat was making it hard to breathe. His face became pale, his eyes drifted to the back of his head as he was being lifted by the ground, the weight of his body making his muscles go limp and ache severely. "Can't breathe.... " he gasped feeling like a snake was squeezing the life out of him.

His dancers that were protecting the castle heard their master's gasping for air and his last words before he was lifted into the air. Deciding to investigate, they watched the shocking display, their bodies swaying back and forth not able to feel emtions or feelings they were like dancing statues wating for a command.

Managing to look the other way, he barely could see his dancers since his vision was making it hard to see. "Go... Destiny Islands... Larxene... Axel... he barely could say the words as he gave the command. The realization of intense pain struck his whole nervous system, preventing oxygen and blood to get to his brain shutting his vessel down once his body collided with the wall having everything happen so suddendly in mere seconds. Reaching out his hand he motioned for the dancers to leave. Not hearing the last of Xemnas's words for it was muffled to him, his eyes closed as he faded into an unconscience state his body lying helplessly on the ground with blood seeping through his skull and down his face forming a puddle beneath him staining the ground with it, his element making it have the appearance of watered down state as it spread over the area.

 

Axel had noticed that Demyx had left as he glanced at Larxene still in the hole that he had placed her in. She was still muddy and probaby pissed beyond belief at him, but this didn't bother the fire dancer one bit. Bending down to her level he carefully scooped up some mud having some tiny sand crabs fall out of his hands. A smile had quirked to him, as he scooped a handful of them holding them in a cup like way with his hands. He slowly opened his hands up and let them trail down Larxene's body, front and back or even down her cloak. His intention was to watch her squirm and scream as he thought it was a nice pay back for ignoring him, or simply avoiding just to chase after Demyx. A slight tinge of guilt seem to lay in the pit of his stomach as the portal breeched open to only see the Melodious Noturne's dancers step out. He communicated and now knew why Demyx didn't come back. Swallowing back his pride he entered into the portal to glance around the Alter of Naught where he saw his friend lying on the ground unconscious. Worry had stricken his features and so did guilt as he ran over to aide him. "DEMYX!" He yelled his eyes accusingly starring at Luxord, but shook the thought of the gambler of causing any harm to Demyx. Instead a dangerous glare met the new member Amber. His eyes starred daggers at her thinking she was the one who did it. He did not know that she was a new recruit. Without saying another word he had summoned his chakrams and attacked her with them. "AHHHHHH ARGH!" he growled.

 

ramming his forearm into axel\'s throat, Xemnas was able to prevent the flurry from ruining his new soldier. This couldn\'t get worse, not only is the flurry roaring with rage, but his watermancer fainted. He truly was worthless. Reaching for axel's arms, Xemnas tried to restrain him. The man could barely dispel his inferior's pseudorage.

"What is the meaning of this axel?"

 

Coming out of his dark dismay, he slowly opened his eyes and held both of his arms up, as he was now dripping with blood, and his element. He tried to stand, but fell down slipping on the surface. "What happened?" he muttered feeling as if he was going to pass out once more. Getting up again, he staggered over now seeing Xemnas's forearm against Axel's throat as well as a new person watching and Luxord gazing at them. "Axel!" With the strength he had left, he gripped Xemnas's arm and held it back against his back preventing him from hurting Axel anymore. He didn't care who it was for in his mind, anyone who attacked Axel would be stopped. He couldn't just stand around and do nothing plus he was delrious from a slight concussion to his mind allowing him not to think straight. "Stop it! He did nothing to you that I saw. Leave him alone!" It was difficult to hold someone taller than him, but he managed not seeing the boss as the superior, but as someone who had attacked his friend. In reality if he had known it was Xemnas and was thinking clearly he would of never attempted to do such a herendious act.

 

Getting grabbed by demyx was an interesting sensation to say the least. To think that he tryed to protect his associate was impressive. Xemnas thought demyx might actuly have some potential. The thought was quickly dispelled at the realization that the water dancer was bleeding. Insubordinate, weak, false emotions, and bleeds easily. If he owned a teddy bear then he was officially gone from the organization.

Though it was against his nature, Xemnas decides to let demyx continue trying to attack him. He wanted to see what would happen if he came to his senses.

 

Axel coughed covering his mouth as he held his throat with his right hand. Trying to recover he heard his name being shouted and he witnessed Demyx charge at the boss holding his arms back. Greatful for that response, he backed away rubbing his throat. His eyes widened as he saw what appeared to be the melodious nocturne holding the superior's arms behind his back. Walking towards them, he was in shock and felt that the water wielder had lost it. Looking at where the musician had lied before he saw the crack in the formation of the altar and put two in two together figuring out that his friend had a concussion and was not thinking clearly. Giving him the benefit of the doubt he glanced at Luxord and Amber to see what their explanations would be. Using his arms, he went from behind Demyx slowly peeling his arms off of the superior and held him back gentely looking at his head that still appeared to be bleeding. "Boss, I attacked her since it had to be that intruder that Luxord has that attacked Demyx." Axel was not aware that Amber was being brought into the organization by Luxord and had arrived at the time after Demyx had been thrown against the altar by Xemnas.

 

Demyx had a form of amenesia only reconizing some individuals and others were forgotten. "Axel why did this creep with silver hair attack you? He will pay the price,"summoning his sitar, he ran at Xemnas attempting to slash and destroy him with his very weapon. "You are to never touch him again," his azure orbs were fierce and narrow as he lunged nearly piercing Xemnas in the chest. He walked around him, summoning his element as the water came forth like a violent storm. In his mind, Xemnas was his enemy. "I'm warning you. You better stay back and go back to the dark hole you crawled out from or I swear to you I will cause you to drown in your own blood!"

 

At that moment, all essence of patience left Xemnas. He had now seen the end result of the deranged nobody's actions. Demyx will pay dearly for his betrayl. With all ungency, the superior summoned his aerial blades and charged his assailent. There was no mercy in this world and xemnas was no exception.

 

Gasping, Axel lept into action summoning his chakrams in defense of the water wielder as he stood between Xemnas and Demyx."Boss? What are you doing? He doesn't recgonize who you are. He has a concussion and amnesia. He just sees you as the enemy, but I can fix him if you'll just let me, Demyx is loyal and would never ever attack you like this. Please give him the benefit of the doubt," he tried to hold back the boss's aerial blades with his own chakrams while making sure not to accidently get stabbed or sliced by Demyx's sitar.

 

Xemas uttered a dry clumsy laugh to exhibit his disbelief.

"Loyal? I have seen no such loyalty. If you wish to save him then save him."

Dispelling his blades, Xemas stared axel dead in the eye.

"If you happen to fail however, you will be the one to finish him."
