A Life to Lead ^_^

Larxene looked, astonished at what Demyx had just went and done. "What the hell!?" She gasped, raising an eyebrow. She looked down to the dryer part of the sand a few meters away, and went to sit there.
As she lowered herself down to the dusty ground, she picked up a pebble and threw it, initially aiming for Water-boys mulleted head. She smirked, imagining the scream that would echo through her ears if it actually hit.
Her hands dug into the smooth grains that surrounded her; the feeling of warmth between her fingers was nice. She looked at her boots, smiling, and kicked them off too.
"Take your time, Demyx." she called, tilting her head back and closing her eyes.

 

While waiting for Xioimara to comment back, Roxas heard a commotion nearby and glanced to his right, seeing Demyx and Larxene together.He blinked..finding it hard to comprehend it.Larxene with someone other than Axel or Marluxia?Times were indeed changing, as she usually had a snippy attitude with anyone other than the two.Odd as it was, he wouldn't question them about it now.

"..Those two are Larxene and Demyx by the way...Demyx is widely known as a coward, and its pretty true.Larxene is the exact opposite of him..and she's got a bad attitude sometimes..but I'm sure its nothing you can't handle." he smiled at Xioimara and watched the other two from afar.

 

Leon really wanted to bash Cloud's head in just for hearing that the man says he could trust an organization member. Of course he would never do that to his good friend, but still the guy perturbed him at times. He had no idea that Cloud seem to have this much confidence in the enemy. "Cloud, don't be that naive. Rember that Sepiroth used to be on our side and then he betrayed you for power. I am starting to worry that you are letting him influence you with this darkness talk with gaining trust with this Demyx guy. They are only out for one thing and of course they can be nice as it is called deception, even though the one I faced was nothing like that. He could of killed me and you try to befriend one of them? That is really insane. The point is I am sure he wants something in return. We don't know their motives yet and have to be careful. So far we have seen 4 of them, I am sure there are quite more that would love to take our heart. Like the one I fought tried to do," He paced around in a circle his head slowly gaining a migraine. "So he is going to meet you again?" He smirked a idea coming into his head. "You know something Cloud that might not be such a bad idea."


Axel was mixed with confusion with outbursts from both Demyx and Larxene he had witnessed both of their departure nearly at the same time, the gunblade was missing. He had a sneaky suspicion that one of them took it. He was not going to let them get away with it. Especially when he had plans to bring this Leon guy to him. Side stepping the boss he hesitated a little as he summoned a portal. "I don't trust them so I am going to keep an eye out," he stated not caring if Xenmas wanted him dismissed or not. He was a bit calm, but on the inside he was raging like a volcano ready to burst. He decided to against leaving when he had seen the surging power that Xenmas had threatened he would use against Demyx, Axel wouldn't want that to happen to him. It was an excuriating punishment almost worse with the dusk issue which was always brought up by Xenmas in order to intimidate fear in all of his members.

 

Cloud watched Leon go on and on about what he thought, but what bugged the warrior was that he kept mentioning his greatest nemesis. "Leon don't speak of Sephiroth. You know I can't stand that guy one bit." He needed to clear his head. Sure Leon had a right to accuse him of such a thing and in a way was trying to protect him, but Cloud had experienced more angusih that Leon could recall that nearly sent him flying over the edge if it wasn't for his stone cold personailty. Cloud was one of those types that preferred to be alone and keep his thoughts seperate not involving anyone who was close to him in his problems. His reasons were to keep them safe and himself guilt free for he had the heavy burden of loss already marked on his soul, the anguish and mournful cries he had witnessed and endured through his life only to witness it happen more and more often. It was best to stay away for everyone's good. His past was in the past and all he could do was look ahead and move forward and follow the path hoping he chose to walk the right one. Gripping his fist, he lashed out at his friend his feelings mixed up about what had surfaced in his mind. "You think that I don't know that? Of course I know the risks, but I'm willing to take them. He did do us a great favor by giving me his bag of munny Leon. Now we don't have to worry so much about our expenses. I owe him that and I know he's part of the this group, but he's different all right? I don't know how or why, but all I know it's better for us." His head was beginning to hurt as he touched his forhead with his index finger and began to massage his temples. Getting his interest upon Leon's last words, he spun around to face him. "So now you're saying you think it's a good idea when before you were aganist it? You're not making any sense."

He emerged his head out of the water only to see Larxene now sitting on the sand waiting for him to get out. Like hell he would. Let her stay there for two hours or longer. He was enjoying himself and if she wanted to torture him then she would have to brave the water to get to him. Swimming on his back, he kicked his feet letting the water splash around on him towards his face as if he was mocking her. It was a perfect day for a swim and he could feel his element becoming stronger and more forceful. Diving underneath again, he swam to the surface of the ocean ground and pulled up a clam that contained a pearl. Examining it, he took the pearl and held on to it for safe keeping. Wiggling his toes, he sighed as his lungs inhaled the sweet crisp ocean air making him feel at ease. Swimming towards the west he happened to see Roxas on the shore talking to a new person. Peaking his interest he swam over to the younger member to listen. Hearing Roxas call him a coward he groaned to himself and had to correct the young one before the other new person began to sterotype him. Getting out of the water, he was drenched and loved that refreshing feeling, his hair all messed up, but still sticking up for the way his hair was. "Hey Roxas that isn't cool to say that about me. I do have my talents and you know that. I'm also higher than you in rank so remember that." He smiled and teased him rubbing his hair the wrong way in a playful manner. "So who is your friend?" he smiled at her wanting to know more about her.

 

Larxene looked at Demyx, smirking. Coward...hah....got that nail on the head alright. She appeared at the soaking-wet Nocurne's side, her eyes analysing his dripping coat and hair. "Demyx....you're all....ew." She mumbled, taking a step away from him.
Her eyes focussed on roxas, narrowing slightly. "Do you wanna try and say that again with no friggin teeth in your damn skull, kid?" She snapped, crossing her arms across her chest. "Bad attitude my ass" How dare he talk about her behind her back like that? It's disrespectful, and totally wrong. He deserves to be torn apart... If only she could get away with destroying the youngest member.

 

As he waited for Roxas or Xiomara to answer him, the water droplets dripped from his lockes, his hair was sort of slicked back, the top of it still sticking up slightly. Walking towards her he felt her shoulder to see what her reaction would be. He felt a bit of a shock as the surge traveled through him creating a shocking, but at some time warm feeling. Her electricity was making him began to dry quicker than normal even though his own skin was absorbing the water back into his body. Shaking his head, he looked like a model on a photo shoot, his muscles relaxing from the current that was slowly passing out of him through his hands. Saying what was on his mind and not holding back, he ran his hand through the back of his hair feeling how smooth it was. "Ah nothing like a refreshing dip to calm my nerves. The boss is really oh what the is the word a jerk to put me through that embarrasing display. I swear he treats me like a child at times. I'm surprised he doesn't take my pants down and spank me on my @ss. Man he needs to get a freaken life," he was acting as a older teen or young adult who had nothing to lose. Smelling the air, he sighed as the water continued to evaporate off of him.

 

Don't look. it isn't worth the look. The look is not worth looking at, for the look only shows his muscles - nothing more. nothing less. Despite the resisting, Larxene's eyes glanced, looking at the small opening at the top of his coat, due to the water making his clothing looser. She swallowed at the sight of his small muscular chest that peeked above the coat, and quickly looked away.
The moment he touched her shoulder, she sent a shock of electricity through him, warning him off. "Don't touch me!!" she batted his hands away lightly, still charged with a current of volts that flowed freely through the two.

 

Should've seen that one coming.Demyx must have had some amazing ability to locate someone, as Roxas was certain he wouldn't take notice of him or Xioimara.Ah well..though the mention of rank really didn't matter to the young man at all.Xemnas was the leader, they all took orders..that was it really, nothing else to it.Pulling back from Demyx ruffling, Roxas swatted his hand away and rubbed his head, trying to get it straight again. He didn't show hostility toward Demyx, but he clearly didn't like it when the Nocturne did that. "Xioimara..I found her in Twilight Town." was all he'd say, as he'd let Xioimara reveal anything else as she saw fit.

And of course, the demonic Nymph had come over as well, threatening to kill him or whatever she usually did.Why were women so defensive?Glaring at Larxene, he just gave off a vibe that said 'try it'. He wouldn't be pushed around just because he was young, and he knew he had the power to defeat everyone present if he went all out on them..minus Xioimara, as he didn't know what power she possessed."..Told you so." he muttered to Xioimara silently, smiling at her as Larxene just gave him the perfect impression just now.Nothing changed when it came to her..nothing.She'd always be angry, rotten, and cold inside. Let her be that way then, if she wanted to be.

Then Demyx found reason to complain about Xemnas once again. He must've screwed up again. he thought as Larxene shocked him.

With Demyx and Larxene gone, Xemnas returned to the castle where Luxord and his guest were waiting.

 

Gasping from the current traveling through him, he got even by getting her wet by purposely shaking his hood at her that was filled with water. Water was a conductor so now she would feel her own shock as well. He felt it intensify, but it was worth it. All in all, he was not fully aware of what she would do to him. Laughing a bit, he starred at Roxas. "Xioimara you say? She looks to be your age," his gaze looked away from her back to Larxene. "Geez no need to be so bitchy Larxene. Calm down before I throw you in the water," he said with a smirk on his face. If she was mad now wait till he tossed her and he would see how she would truly react. "Hey Roxas, you know you can be a tad moody too, but it's your age so it is to be expected, but just don't talk about me behind my back all right. It's not cool at all. I don't do that to you dude," his stance was causal as he felt himself being warmed up by the sunrays or the electrical force. "Now I know why you came here. It's perfect beach weather," he placed his hand to his zipper and unzipped his cloak a bit to get rid of the clingy leather that felt like a second skin. His whole chest was now revealed along with his abdominal six pack as he removed his arms from the sleeves and let the whole thing fall at his hips. "Ahh now I can maybe get a tan for a change."

 

Larxene shook the water from her, and jumped onto Demyx's - now bare - back. She covered his eyes, a smile present on her face. The sun was nice on her skin, so she closed her eyes to soak in the rays.
Looking down at Demyx's body, she raised an eyebrow. "See, if I did that, it would be called indecent exposure." She smriked, shaking her head. "You're such a poser." She curled a strand of hair around her finger, looking out to the sea. "Stay still." she ordered, smiling as she gazed into the waves.

 

That's what I thought. Roxas let out a small hum of victory as Larxene turned her attention from him.Her bark was worse than her bite it seemed.And here came Demyx, yet again, going on and on..Roxas may be a teen, but this guy was a living soap opera."I just told you who you were, that's all.And people really do know you as a coward..just telling the truth." he admitted it was usually mean to talk about someone behind their back, but Roxas said nothing aggressive on the matter.

With Larxene jumping on his back, he immediately had the urge to cover his eyes.This was growing more and more..inappropriate.Larxene was such a bipolar girl, one second she's angry, the next she's flirting.Just when you think you know a person.Tilting his head to the side and slightly narrowing his eyes in mild disgust, he shook his head. "If your going to do that, can you take it to the bedroom or..something? After all, I'm only a kid..I shouldn't be seeing that." he rolled his eyes, having thrown in obvious sarcasm on the kid part.

 

Axel was a little frusterated and thought that it was rude that Xenmas had left without even talking with him, but he figured the boss could do whatever the hell he wanted to do. "Take care Xigbar, I am heading to the beach, " he shook his hand at him in a waving manner as he knew that he was still stationed where Xenmas and Xaldin were previously at until they retreated. The flurry forced himself into the portal running past the heartless that tried to clomber him just because he had torn part of his cloak because of the fight with Leon. "It is a good thing that I am great runner." He smirked as the corridor of darkness lead him to a beach where he could briefly see some silouttes out in the far distance. Letting the wind breeze through his hair he closed his eyes as he let the sun's raging warmth get to him in a satisfying manner. He laid his hands under his head and fell asleep collasping there.



Leon was still holding that smirk as he thought about what kind of plan or how this would benefit them in the long run. He was surprised that Cloud didn't think of this before. It may be risky, but what harm would it do. "You can turn him against the organization or we can use him to gain useful information on them. Think about it Cloud, if we have an nobody on our side then it would be easy to know when they are going to ambush and stragedize against them." He pulled a few strands out of his face as he rubbed his forehead noticing that his migraine was disappearing. He was still half disappointed because of his gunblade was still missing and he stretched a bit and started pacing around the room wondering on what to do now.

 

Cloud had a strong urge to throw his friend back on the bed that he rested in to see if he needed more rest from his close encounter with death. Leon was making sense and it was almost like he could read his mind. Had Leon known this along and didn't want to come out and say it until the time was right? Eying his friend pacing around the room, he was thinking of how he should respond? Coming up with the perfect reply, his blue eyes caught that the brunette was wearing a smirk. "Yes, that could work to our advantage, but the important thing is that he must find me and not have you or I go after him. It would be too obvious. He said that he would find me when ever that is and I'm sure he wasn't just talking. He seemed serious. The best plan of action to recover here and lay low for a little bit maybe a few days and then head back to Hollow Bastion. Now that we have munny we can take care of what needs to be done." Cloud sat on the bed that Leon had been lying on, and stretched out his arms and legs. "It's think it's time that we just rest for a little while just to gain back our strength and stamina."

While talking to Roxas and enjoying the sun's rays warm his flesh that had been covered with his cloak, he stumbled and caught himself from falling forward not being to see except the darkness of the black gloves that were covering his eyes. His back felt heavy and instantly his skin vibrated from the surge of the electricity being forced upon him once again except in a different area and onto his flesh. "Larxene get off." The cloak offered some protection from the elements, but with it hung around his waist, the pulsation was hot and shocking. Not only was he experiencing his back, hips, shoulders and torso in distress, but his hair was being played with to. He cringed from the pull of the wet strand sticking to her gloved finger and her smart alec jeers of self satisfaction as he toiled with her on him. Using his upper body strength, his lean toned muscular arms brought her hands away from his face so he could now see rather than hear Larxene's voice and Roxas's comments. "Did I tell her to do this? No. I had no idea she would jump on me like this." He turned his head to the right, arching his neck to look into her impish aquatic orbs of snobbery and playfulness mixed into one. Moving his arms towards her torso he tried to pull her off and moved over to the side with her, walking aimelessly in an awkward manner. Unfortunetly, he didn't see a small piece of drift wood that had washed up on the beach, and his left leg caught it sending them both face down into the wet sand where the tide washed over them.

 

"AH!" Larxene fell. in the sand. Face first. Well isn't this just so damn lovely!? She spat out the sand that had curled itself around her lips, and batted away the seaweed.
Looking at the water that surrounded her, she instantly jumped form Demyx, letting him breathe. "Demyx you clutz!" She shouted, although her face reflected a playful expression. "Look whatcha did!" Her coat was all wet, and didn't feel good on her body underneath. With her eye closed, she intsantly stopped the flowing electricity from her body.

Sighing, she looked at her wet coat and jeans. In her mind, she was toying with the idea of getting some spare clothes from the castle, but that thought got instantly destoryed, along with her sense of balance as a rather large wave hit her with quite some force.

 

Getting back on his feet, he was wet again as he let the liquid fall on top of him once more. It was very relaxing for his tense muscles. Picking himself up from the sand, he reached out his hand for her to grab to pull her to her feet. "Well you should of not jumped on me like that," the tide was coming in as it flowed around his ankles and receeded back out to sea producing more ripples in the current. The sun over head was beating down on his back, as water vapor slowly rose and disapated from him, creating a small amount of steam. Shaking his head, the water droplets fall from his hair and back onto her, his legs balancing himself as the waves tried to knock Larxene over once more on her butt. He snickered at seeing her visage, her blonde strands hanging in her face, with her cloak ridden with sand, seaweed and even particles of shells.

 

"If I'm down," Larxene spluttered. "You're coming with me!" She pulled Demyx down, letting him topple to the sand with her. surprisingly, the water was cool around her toes, and made the burning of the sun seem alot less intimidating than usual. Her hand dug deep into the wet sand, pulling it from the clear water and letting it drop back down into the liquid with ease. Her eyes examined the particles with fascination, although she didn't know why; the wet sand just interested her for some reason.

Next, she cupped a large shell in her hands, looking at it, again, concentrating. She held it to her ear and listened, smiling at the circulating air made wave-like noises in her ear. "wow..." she murmured, looking at the brown shell again, and moving it back to her ear once more, this time grinning rather than smiling.

 

Axel batted an eye open noticing that both Larxene and Demyx were on the shore. He sighed as he knew he was now going to be disturbed from his relaxation due to them. Rising slowly to his feet he walked over by the mud monsters and scooped up some more of it gently sprinkling it into their hair. "Wow, I have a wet female rat and a male one," He smirked letting his chakrams surround them as they pulled up one of them. One of his chakrams gradually pullling sand with its eight pointed ends lifting the wet sand until a huge hole was placed in it. Then another. He then released Larxene in it dropping her into the hole. As the same chakram sunk into the ground and began spinning fast spilling wet sand all over her body. With Demyx he made him fall head first in the another sand hole with his butt facing up. "Play time is over mud monsters," He quickly levitated into the air out of their reach.

 

"Ow!" He yelled as he fell down into the sand from Larxene grabbing him down into. Spitting out the grains, he stuck out his tongue and was about to get back to his feet when he looked over his shoulder and saw Axel pouring wet sand onto his head. "Knock it off," he tried to smack him with his arm. Before he could react and fight back the fire wielder, he found himself face first inside a hole with his butt and legs sticking out from the other end. "I'm going to kill you when I get out of here," he tried to kick him with several faild attempts as he screamed down below where his voice was muffled. "This is so not fair," he complained and whined trying to get out. It was very uncomfortable with the weight of his cloak wrapped around his torso which was making it more impossible to get out.

 

Axel smirked as he watched the melodious nocturne frail almost like a fish out of water. Being more cruel, he lifted up part of the cloak that was hanging down only to kick him repeatly. "Where is the gun blade and I'm not going to stop kicking you until I have it in my hands again," he ordered smacking him across his bare back, legs and any where else that was showing. "I could do this all day if you like. Just let me know and I'll leave you be."

 

Standing in the altar of naught, the superior began to backpedal on his decisions. \"Did Demyx follow my orders? Hopefully, he is not stupid enough to defy me again. Is he?\" Clutching his head, Xemnas was in a state of disbelief. He was talking to himself. Was this a sign of something? Dismissing the notion with a shake of his head, the leader raised his arms high over his head. It was time to perform a check up on his most dissapointing soldier.

\"Demyx, come.\"
