A Life to Lead ^_^

Larxene's fists clenched. She looked at Xaldin with piercingly sharp, azure eyes. "Look, what do you want him to say?" She snapped, stepping half a meter towards the large nobody. "The ending is as inevitable; you're just gonna do whatever you can to get him"-she motioned towards demyx-"in trouble. Well honey, get that out of your head. Not for one minute will he go down without a fight." She eyed the Dragoon with fierce eyes, growling slightly. "He spoke to me about fighting to him whilst in the shadows. He explained how he would rather turn that damn warrior into one of use, rather than take his heart. I said no." Her temper was rising; the light complection of her face turning a shade of red. "So take our word, and piss off."

 

His eyes were wide as saucers as Larxene had told Xaldin to lierally piss off. Geez she was either brave or reckless. He didn't know what, but he appreciated her support. Sighing to himself he felt like he was going to sent to his doom or was stuck in a pointless hell of what his enternal punishement would be. "He is really getting on my nerves, but I have to hold it together or else," he glared at the dragoon as he was prepared to leave upon Xaldin's command. Summoning his dancers, he had them circle the dragoon in case it were to suddendly attack him. He didn't trust any of the higher members and their ways especially their commands to their subordinates. Once Larxene had finished her rant, he spoke to Xaldin letting him know what was on his mind. "Because he was expecting that and I wanted to throw him off his guard." He felt like turning his back to him, but that could be a huge flaw on his part. "I was hungry too and I needed my strength since we have to fend for ourselves in order to get food, but you have no problem since you love the vending machines," he joked smiling afterwards. "I love chips too, but I also love cookies and they smelled good and the chocolate milk was good too. I wasn't going to attack him while he was eating like you or the others would of done, because I know this sounds strange and everything, but I thought that would be cheap and not right and cowardly. I didn't want him to see me like that. The friendly approach was perfect. It is better than throwing my weight around like you and everyone else in the organization does," he covered his mouth and slapped his forehead lightly. "Did I actually just say that?"

 

Leon started seeing images of his last fight in his mind blurry ones until it focused towards his near death and the strange demonic creature with the errie emerald eyes shrouded with fire as he suddenly shot up from his bed. His eyes a bit hazy as they took in their surroudings glancing at the cavern he was in. It was familar to him, but in the same time unfamilar his eyes appeared on Cloud who was shaking him. Trying to maintain his posture the warrior attempted to get off the bed, and to his feet, but remembered he had been horribly mangled, as he glanced at himself found that is body was restored to its normality. His eyes turned towards Cloud as his hands gripped him. "Something happend, he was going to kill me, stay away from those black cloaked demons, blackness surrounded me as I felt it at the tips of my fingers, " he replied with desperation. Normally Leon was a more calm mercenary,] but he had never faced anyone such as an nobody before. He knew that he saw four so accordingly there could be in fact more to worry about and probably worse. "Where is my gunblade?" He searched the room in horror as he had noticed that it was missing and knew he was almost defenseless. Sure he could deal with hand combat, but the weapon was better protection.

Axel gradually got to his feet shaking his head a bit at the ambush of the other warrior Cloud blinding him. He had attacked him and threatened to kill him with his sword, but the nobody knew it was a big mistake on the warrior's part. He would hunt him down if had to end his life before he ended the red head's existance. Axel was ashamed and annoyed that he couldn't find another nobody and turning this Leon into another heartless would given him the chance to seek out the nobody. The flurry began walking a bit until he paused for a second recognizing some scents or presences that were in somewhere in Hallow Bastion as well. His eyes narrowed somewhat, unaware of what was going on. He cursed himself of not notifying his assassins to get out information. There was a need now, as he noticed the gunblade on the ground. The flurry summoned his assassins and told them to take good care of the weapon, they applied and then vanished before his eyes. He would at least had proof that he had in fact fought a warrior and not be screwing around. It would look good on his part if any of the higher members saw that he failed on his attempt. It struck a small tinge of fear within him as his fists suddenly clenched off fire eveloping from his hands as he flung it at some near by bystanders. There were at least 12 of them. The people ended up burned to crisp, but then materaized into something else the black dark creatures. The fury in his eyes ended up with more rage as he starred at the emptiness of the town that he had slaughtered with his powers. The fire creating smoke and devouring any wood or debis left standing. In pure annoyance Axel swung his chakrams at another town as more humans were killed as he watched the blackness evaporate and each indivdual's shiny things as well. The mission seem hopeless how the hell was suppose to find nobodies if in fact all of these humans he murdered so far would turn into heartless, and not have a strong willed heart. "DAMN IT!" He screamed his rage getting the best of him as he ran around the town like a rampage and started burning and killing any human being that he saw.

 

Caring not for either insults or made-up stories, Xaldin turned to his Dragoon and cleared his throat."Xemnas, upon reaching the site I have been met with hostility from our very own Larxene and Demyx.The warrior had escaped after bolting out of a house.Demyx claimed that he had intentionally fought in the house with him, but judging from the amount of silence inside it for a good minute, according to your Sorcerer, there are things missing from his story.Larxene is currently trying to defend Demyx, knowing I've placed him in a corner where he is now resorting to use poor excuses such as 'because he was expecting that'." he took a deep breath, having the lances leave Demyx and appear around him now.This was getting tiring and he wasn't enjoying the company of these people.

Continuing onward, he looked at the Dragoon once more, who showed no fear of the Dancers at all."It is clear to me that Demyx has his own agenda that he is attending to.I believe, as you did, that he was attempting to become friends with that warrior, and gave him the chance to escape, despite sending Dancers after him.Perhaps it is just that he is too much of a poor strategist and fighter to understand an advantage from a disadvantage.How you decide to respond to this is up to you." with a wave of his hand, the Dragoon nodded its head, preparing to depart.

With the message prepared, Xaldin looked from Demyx to Larxene."The fact of the matter is, neither of you can defeat me, so I care little about your insults.Now..will you be leaving this place or will you stay?" he questioned.

 

Cloud was starttled when he heard Leon talking so much and he could see the fear in his eyes. "Leon it's all right. We're safe. You don't have to panic. I heard what you said." He rubbed his back. "The important thing is that you're alive and we will get back your weapon or I'll get you another one."


Demyx gripped his fists at what the dragoon was going to do. He couldn't let it deliver the message to Xemnas. Summoning his sitar to his hand, he kept it close to him ready to battle if he needed to. Nodding his head at the dancers they began to circle the dragoon and beat it up. After all they were doing what their leige commanded of them. "Xaldin you really are a tattle tail. The boss doesn't need to know everything does he? Why are you trying to make my life miserable? I haven't done anything wrong except for what I said yet you still think I have other intentions. Well what about you? I bet you do too. In fact I bet everyone in the whole organization has thier own agendas otherwise we would all be the same right? I can't help it you're so what's the word bossy like Vexen. At least Xigbar is cool and I have respect for him. He understands me and looks after me in some sort of different way, but you just have no mind of your own do you? Which makes you like Saix too doesn't it?" He was glad that the senior member was offended by him for it meant that he was trying to show fake pride which meant he was only fooling himself.

 

The Dragoon defended itself accordingly, but due to being outnumbered it was losing the fight.How dare Demyx do this to his followers!Xaldin looked from the Dancers to Demyx, a hidden snarl forming."..If you were smart you'd--" he stopped, remembering that Demyx was an idiot.Having all his lances hover in the air, Xaldin sent them at the Dancers, destroying most of them with all six lances of his.

He then called his lances back to him and snapped his fingers, having several Dragoon's appear around the Messenger, prepared to protect and die for it.

Reassured that the Messenger would be safe, Xaldin glared at Demyx from under his hood."..Hm..you know, its funny Demyx.Tattling involves telling someone of high authority that another has done wrong..and your admitting to me now that you've done wrong.The only one making your existence miserable is yourself for not following orders and befriending targets.Stop changing the subject..live up to what you've done, show some backbone." he finished, voice raised as he lowered his hood, revealing his hostile look to Demyx.If he dared attack either he or his Dragoon's, he'd fight back out of self defense.

And then he'd let Xemnas deal with the rest.

OOC: Water mage went out to eat so I'll make it simple..

Roxas and Xioimara are at Destiny Islands with Alphonse, the adorable little mutt dog..thing.

Demyx is about to fight Xaldin so Xemnas won't know of his horrible failure.Larxene is offline but let's just say she's watching..and idk where Cloud and Leon went..and Axel is running around killing everyone in a town in Hollow Bastion.

 

occ: alright, some story so far. i'll find a place to start out.

Xion sat down quietly on a bench in the middle of twilight town waiting for 2 people. She knew they were always late but she wanted to have some alone time from everyone yelling at her. She soon saw Mixya running down the road and she shot up "your 2 hours late!"she yelled in disbelief.

Mixya stood there breathing hard because of all the running. She couldn't wait up for Xazek because she was taking too long. She thought she was closer to Xion that she actually was. "Sorry Xion, Xazek was taking too long,"she said taking a seat down on the bench soon leaning back. "We, need to wait for her before we head off.

Xion sighed at the reply. She thought they were doing something stupid like stopping for clothes or something. But she now knew it was Xazek taking too long to get ready "alright we will wait!"she said sitting back down to wait for her.

 

Meanwhile, Sora, Donald and Goofy traveled the worlds, visiting old friends, making new enemies, and learning new abilities and combination attacks on the way.They briefly visited the Land of Dragons, having met up with Mushu again and helping to save the Land of Dragons from the evil Shan-Yu.Sealing the Keyhole there, the gang took off, heading for Beasts castle.

 

"Yeah I have done something wrong Xaldin and admitted it already on what I know what I did." he starrred at the taller older member who was nothing but literally a windbag. "You've become so defensive, over your dragoon that you failed to realize that I never attacked you now did I? And yet you were attacking me first with trapping me in a circle with your lances so in a way you began the aggression, not I. Larxene can vouch for me there and so can Xigbar." He summoned one of the remaining dancers forward and took a message of his own. "If anything you've proved that you're nothing, but a bully who didn't get the respect that he would think would be given to him like that. Like the rule states;you don't give respect you have to earn it. You're not supposed to use your high status to intimidate me or the lower ranking members and come to conclusions or speculate unless you have actually seen it yourself and have proof of what I've done. What you're doing now, by protecting your dragoon messenger with the others is that insuring that fabricated message goes through, but I know what happened for I fought that warrior not you."


Turning to his dancer, he sent a message of his own, having the others leave in case they got killed. "Please inform the Superior of Xaldin's inspeakable attitude and using his heigher status of seniortiy to discover for his own beniefit and twist and fabricate the facts in his opinion so that they may match his own version. He was not there so his speculations don't mean squatt. The only thing I'm guilty of is not going to the Underword which you know about already and giving my own opinions to benefit the organization in the long run. Xaldin is a bully, has no facts to back up his words for his words can not be proven. He has even tried to maim me with his onslaught of his weapons as methods of intimidation as you know the organization needs every member that we can get in order to reach our goal of becoming complete. Fake anger and attacking me on my account is not going to help is it? I would rather have Xigbar keep me in line if I need to be watched unforutunetly since he does not go out of his way to disrespect me or try to end my existance. He is someone I'm close to and even Axel would even be a better choice. Xaldin needs to refrain from his tactics and use common sence with dealing with the younger members. Perhaps he would receive respect in return if he were to do so. I await your response." He sent the dancer away having it vanish to the darkness to the location of where Xemnas was present and deliever the message as if Demyx was speaking to him before his very eyes.

 

"The fact of the matter is, once again, that you cannot defeat me..none of you."Xaldin merely sent his own Dragoon off to deliver his own message.He could explain precisely why Demyx was wrong, but he only cared about his own opinions and would accept no other.Now calming himself but keeping his Dragoon's around, he folded his arms and shut his eyes, dismissing his lances and tilting his neck down, going into meditation.He needed it..this was too much to deal with.

Merely a minute after both messages were sent, a portal formed behind Xaldin, and the man that stepped out was none other than the Superior himself.And he did not look pleased either.Immediately he looked back at Larxene, then turned his attention from Demyx, Xigbar, and lastly to Xaldin."An explanation, Xaldin." he moved beside the Lancer, who was still in his peaceful state.

Upon the request, Xaldin took a deep breath, still not opening his eyes."I have explained most of what has happened in my message.Regarding the Nocturne's, he is trying to make himself seem as if he is a victim, and I have no doubt that it is true, seeing as he was leaning on Xigbar's shoulder when I arrived..when he let the warrior escape." he opened his eyes, looking to Xemnas now."He'd rather have Xigbar and Axel watch over him, knowing they'd go easy on him..while I, as you know, do not have any favorites.The fact here is that Demyx brought that warrior into a house, initializing close quarters combat, which makes no sense at all, considering the brat is ranged based.He calls me a bully and accuses me of abusing my authority, but you yourself had requested I come here and find out more..my methods are my own, and I was only met with disrespect." he pointed toward Demyx."I'm accused of twisting facts, when it was you that had given me the initial information from the very start.And might I add in that he had sent his Dancers against my messenger to prevent me from sending it, calling me a 'tattle tail'...he's hiding something from me...from you.." he lowered his arm and looked toward Larxene this time."And I suspect she's in on it..or will be sooner or later.They did more than discuss the battle in the shadows.." he narrowed his eyes at her for just one moment.

Then, he dropped his expression and folded his arms once more, rreturning to his previous position while allowing Xemnas to process this.

The entire time, he kept his expression blank, occasionally looking from Demyx to Larxene, and then to Xaldin.The Lancer had no reason to lie or pick on anyone here..he was sent to find out more, and he accomplished that.Yet here he was, with the same Nocturne, causing more distress and issues among the ranks.Frankly, it was starting to get to Xemnas.Not even Roxas was this much trouble..he was only a young man, and Demyx wasn't setting a great example for a new generation of Nobodies..not at all.

Tonight, he'd pray that Demyx never spreads his intellect or influence to any others.

But..at least now he got the story, but to remain fair he'd give Demyx and Larxene a chance to explain exactly what went on.For their sake, they best not lie.Gaining Energy and Nothingness in his right hand, Xemnas raised it toward Demyx, threatening to turn him into a Dusk on the spot for his insolence.But he was fair enough to hold off on it."..I give you the chance to redeem yourself for your previous mistake, and you return to me only failure, trouble, and lies." before anyone could speak, he raised his left hand toward Larxene, gaining the same energy used to turn them into Dusk's in that hand as well."And Larxene..I cannot condemn you for what Demyx has done, but I am well aware of your attitude..if you dare to spit venom at me, you'll pay the price for it.Now..one last chance to give me the full and truthful story..next time there won't be any chances..I will turn you on the spot, understand?...Good." eyes traveling from Larxene to Demyx, he waited for one or the other to speak.

 

Larxene glanced at Demyx coldly; he was going to pay for this, for making her stand up for him. It wasn't a compulsory move to make, but she felt it was right, somehow.
"My liege," She inhaled, looking up at her superior, and his lap-dog stood beside him. "I do not believe it is on my part to tell Demyx's part of the story, but I shall inform you of my point-of-view on what happened." Her eyes examined the house beside her, the bakery, and the place where the warrior and Demyx once sat to snack on delicacies before her fight with the lunatic. Quickly, her sight returned back to the silver-haired man infront of her.
"It seems to me sir that this has been totally blown out of proportion. Demyx was too afraid to go to the underworld; he was shaking before my very eyes. He decided to come here. I followed, not initially bothered by the fact that he was making a mistake, as I knew he was gonna get it in the neck for what he did." She smirked, glancing at the Melodious nocturne, the thought of him shaking because of the underworld sent a shrill of enlightenment into her body. She snapped out of her smirk, and went back to the emotionless story-teller she once was a moment ago.
"That's when we seen him. The warrior. He was stood there, hungry, tired and desperately looking for work and food. Demyx had an idea and approached him, think it would do no good, I stayed at the side-lines, just watching Demyx speak to the man. He astonished me when Demyx actually offered him a job, but did not tell him the details of location, objectives, and working standards. He just said that we could offer him a job, and that we could take him aboard.
"Now that I think about it, it was a smart move; we need more people in this organisation, which means we get more hearts. But it still baffled me that Demyx would approach this man in such a manner as to be so relaxed. He pulled me to the shadows, explaining in a perfectly reasonable way that the man wanted a job, and that with his structure and muscular build, he would be great to have in the org, as that will get us closer to our goal.
"After our talk, Demyx offered him cookies and milk. This was to prove his trust; to find out whether he wouldn't just take them and run. I suppose that is a logical way to approach such a man, because we cannot just let just anyone into the organisation now, can we?" A smile formed on her lips, as her hands slid slowly to her waist. "Now, this is the best bit." Her mouth stretched into a grin.
"Demyx, the coward, wouldn't fight because he thought I was better. Reasonable and true, I know, but still; he got me to fight the damn warrior.
The man was easy to start off with, but once I electrocuted his damn head, something triggered him to go mental. He hit me, paralysing me to an extent where I couldn't open my eyes.
"I an attempt to calm him down, Demyx blasted the guy into that nearby house-" She motioned towards the partially destroyed house in a careless manner-"and He said a few words to chill the guy out. You know, cover him in water and such. It didn't work, and the man fled." Her hands were now tucked under her arms, her arms folded tightly over her chest.
"That's when Xaldin showed up. He had this attitude which instantly told me that he wanted to get us in some form of trouble. It's reasonable that we both reacted to him throwing his stupid weapons at Demyx, because he was out-of-order doing so." She glared at the large man stood beside her superior. "He turned every action we had done into something totally different, and accused us of making our own agenda. I disagree; we had the organisation in mind when going through the actions of our plan, and it was just plain bad luck that the warrior ran from the scene."
Larxene nodded, showing that she was finished with her explanation.
"I hope you understand the predicament that we were in, sir."

Luxord went to the superiors door with Amber right behind him "oh honorable superior i come back with an vauble member for our fine organization" the gambler said smiling while he knocked on the door. "lets see if my superior accepts you" the gambler said to Amber that stood beside him.


Amber nodded she was nervous but not scared cause she did not have a heart. She was a nobodie plain and simple. "lets see how handosme your superior is" she said smiling to Luxord. She waited for the door to open so she could find out if she was accepted.

 

Demyx was scared to death from not expecting Xemnas to appear so suddendly. The situation was getting worse for the moment and he felt he was sure as dead. Why was this happening? He thought he was doing a service to the organization with his plan, but once again everything was ending up being backfired in his face. None of his plans ever seemed to work so he wondered why did he even bother. He couldn't just obey orders like a mindless drone like the others for he could think and come up with his own plans to benifit the organization as a whole, but now it seemed like he had no choice, but to put his creative license away and just do exactly what the others commanded of him or else face the severe consequences. Instantly he cringed and closed his eyes for a few moments, his hands rising to his face to shield himself from what was to become. The nothingness power that spiraled and intentified in Xemnas's clutch was making him very nervous no actually more like panicing for he thought this could be the end of his very existance. He was speechless for words, as he sent a glare upon Xaldin for his part of causing him so much grief earlier. Turning his head away, he heard Larxene speak out for him which brought his glance back to her. She was saving him and he had a feeling she would want something back in return for risking herself to do so. Sighing he waited for her to finish locking eyes with her and noticing her expressions on her face like a female seductress or demon savoring the moment of seeing him squirm. He was taken a back at the parts where she called him a coward and he shook his head not wanting to hear her say that about him too even though it was true to some extent. At least he tried didn't he? Knowing he had to add to some parts to help him he took the initiative. "Boss with all due respect my only intention was to help us in any way possible. I know how much you want to become complete and that is why I wanted to add my influence to the organization to let you know that I too can come up with plans to benfit us. In no way possible did I ever think of what I'm accussed of to be my undoing when all along I had nothing but the right goal in mind. The reason why I act so odd and you question my methods is because I'm unique and I react based on my memories of who I was before and that is something I can't help. I don't know what else to say except that I was only thinking about what was better for the future of Organization XIII and I just wanted to contruibute to that since I do feel like I'm nothing but a failure. I was trying to prove myself to you." Demyx cast his eyes from the boss's eyes to the ground, back to Xaldin, and Larxene and Xigbar giving eye contact to all that was there.

 

Xaldin took note of Larxene's butt-kissing when the Superior was around.

Xemnas listened and slowly had the power in his left hand diminish, but still kept that power in his right hand for Demyx.At least one of the two could explain without whining about someone...well, minus Xaldin, but it was to be expected seeing as they were in deep trouble."This will be the final time I tell either of you this..the Organization is to remain Nobodies only, nothing more."he said calmly."Regardless of what you claim Xaldin did, he was sent here to find out more than a Sorcerer could.You would have been in trouble, regardless of him coming to this place.He had gotten his facts from the Sorcerer and myself, and he was here to piece everything together."

Xaldin smirked, eyes still closed, but indeed proud that Xemnas was willing to believe his intentions were good.

"And you, Demyx, need not prove yourself to me.All you must do is follow my orders..nothing more, nothing less...you may leave the planning to me." Answering Demyx, Xemnas let the power in his right hand diminish.He then approached the Nocturne, slowly and menacingly, but not planning to hurt him.The member was young and still held those memories of the past close with him, and that would have to change.

He stopped, placing a hand on Demyx shoulder."All I ask is that you obey my commands.I place my faith in every member I assign a mission to..even you.Now..you and Larxene must swear your loyalty to me now, or there will be no more chances." he released his shoulder and looked over toward Larxene."And I expect both of you to show respect for a senior member, whether you wish to or not..understood?" he swore to Kingdom Hearts if he heard any objections he'd blast them before they could say 'But'.

 

OCC: luxord got somebody recruited they are waiting at Xemnass' door

Luxord sat in a chair waiting cause he knew his superior was probally doing something importent. "so how did fate decide you to be a nobodie" the gambler asked her. The Gambler of Fate wanted to know how people became nobodies was they unlucky did the choose to lose their hurts or did they protect someone.

Amber was surprissed at the man for asking. "Luxord i would love to know how i lost my heart but i cant remember" she said to him. She looked down trying to remember how she lost her heart but it was still blank. She rememberd falling asleep then waking up like she normally did every day.

 

Demyx watched Xemnas let his power diminsh from his left hand, but fretted that the right hand still beheld the power for him. He did all that he could not to whine and cry in front of everyone, but only whimpered a bit holding back the urge to shed tears. He really felt this was the end. It wasn't until Xemnas spoke his words serious as they were where the nocturne backed up a bit and stretched out one arm in front of him, his other covering his face ready for his fate to be met, but to his surprise as Xemnas spoke, the power that was in the superior's right hand vanished as well and was placed on the water youth's shoulder making him cringe and flinch from the sensation for he didn't know what to expect. As he listened he cast his azure orbs upon the ground nodding his head like a child that had been caught disobeying an authorative figure's rule. Forcing himself to comply, he mumored something under his breath that was a cross between a whine and a moan to acknowledge him. The last part when Xemnas had finished made him dreading the next move he had to make which was to show his loyalty before Xemnas and unforuntely Xaldin and Xigbar. Groaning silently and under his breath, he kneeled to one knee before Xemnas's feet, crossed his right over his chest and remained there for a minute. "Oh great Superior, he announced feeling like a slave once again and hating every moment of the words he spoke, "I, Number IX Demyx, the melodious nocturne of Organization XIII, understand what you order of me to carry out your plans only and that I shall prove my worth to you as nothing, but one of your faithful servants to follow out your every command. I swear my alliegance to you and only you. I will only answer to you when it comes to your commands, not stray from the path that you have set for me and if I do may I face the consequences of your choosing. I unregreatbility oblige to your rule of obeying and giving respect to those that are higher than me even though they don't deserve it. I ask for your forgivness oh great Superior Xemnas." He rose his eyes to meet Xemnas's as he felt even more inferior than before.

 

..That had better not be sarcasm.

He may have laid it on a little too thick, but perhaps he understood now.Turning his attention to Larxene now, he narrowed his eyes, wanting to hear her speak now."And what about you..?" he questioned her, knowing she was as defiant as Demyx.

 

He's asking...for me to grovel....oh no. Her azure eyes looked up, connecting with the superiors. Okay... make it sound good. Don't just say 'what he said'. Make it sound believable. she knelt, joining the melodious Nocturne on the floor before her superior. Whilst kneeling, her right hand was gently placed over her chest to her left shoulder.
Larxene bit her lower lip, looking at Demyx. Despite the pride she had, she must swallow it to stay in one piece. Sadly, that was going to be rather hard.
Her words came out clear. crystal clear, so clear; it was in comparison with water. Ironic really, considering the person she was grovelling with.
"I, Larxene, number XII of Organization XIII, give you, Xemnas, the master, commander and decider of my fate, my trust, my will, my all." Her teeth gritted; the words felt so acidic on her tongue.
