A Life to Lead ^_^

"Shush" he whispered through his grinning teeth. "It is I that should be thanking you." The lunatic placed Rexa down for a moment. Fumbling with his robe, Gex procured a smile potion. Taking off the tight cork top, he placed it to his lips.

 

Forcing herself to stay under control, Tifa glared. "I swear, I will kill you for this." she murmured, her hands clenching again. "You just play games because you have no relationships."

 

"in the rule book of life im not suppose to exist in the first place" Luxord said to her. "everything in life is an delightfull game unfortionatly i did not learn the rules before i lost my heart with that i take my leave remember my words" the Gambler of Fate said calmly with an smirk as he started walking out of the door. Up a head the blond made an dark void appear without looking back Luxord enterd the dark void with it closing after he enterd.

 

Slumping against the counter, Tifa looked up at the ceiling, willing herself not to cry. So much had happened so fast...she wasn't sure how to deal with this. Automatically, she started cleaning up the house, righting the fallen furniture and cleaning up the broken glass.

 

What Gex said caused Rexa to tilt her head. "Thank me?" She scratched her head. "Why? I injured you... why do you need to thank me?" Rexa asked with big, innocent eyes, but still slightly ashamed of what she did. "Sorry..."

 

Guzzling his healing elixer, Gex sweep Rexa into another strong hug.

"You don't know me very well, do you? To me, pain is good. None is bad. What about you?"

 

Rexa giggled. "Well, I don't really like pain too well. But, I guess it really depends upon the person." She smiled. "I try to avoid pain." She laughed, but quickly stopped, realizing something... she has never felt so comfortable talking to someone. But Gex, for whatever reason, made her feel safe. She finally hugged him back.

 

(OOC: Sorry guys I haven't been on. Been busy with life. I've caught up though.)

Xigbar smirked while Luxord continued his games with Xion "poppet" and Tifa. He was watching upside down from the ceiling undetected so far. Any minute now, he would surprise Roxas if he came to Xion's aide.

Demyx had purposely ignored Xaldin for he was trying to fix the confrontation that was had occured between Axel and Cloud. Wait, did Xaldin know that he had been with Cloud for some time? Things did not look good in his favor. Maybe if he kept ignorning he would leave him alone. Wrong on so many levels. Rough surface of that of leather rubbed against his neck line, his metal chain almost stirking him in the lip as he had been lifted by his collar by the whirlwind lancer. "Man stop," he moaned thinking he should of have replied to Xaldin after all instead of ignorning him like he didn't exist. Coughing afterwards once he was back on the ground, he rubbed his neck to see if there was a red mark on his neck or not. Before he could respond to Xaldin once more telling him where Xemnas had been, the third member took off with what looked like another person in tow. Sighing with relief he was glad that Xaldin was gone.

Cloud almost had reacted when he witnessed Demyx being lifted in the air by the other member, but didn't since Xaldin had gone on his way to another location. He had no clue that Tifa was in trouble and if he did he would be there, sword drawn ready to strike who ever was messing with her. While Demyx was adjusting his cloak collar, Cloud wondered back into the shop and still saw Larxene standing there as in deep in thought. Taking a step closer he waited to see if she would react or not. Keeping his guard up, he took one step closer.

 

Nexon awoke on the ground. He sat up. What had he been doing before he woke up here? He struggled to remember... all he could get out of his memory was being surronded by darkness... tons of it... then waking up there... He silently groaned to himself as he stood up. Where was he? He looked at a banner hanging off of a nearby building. "Welcome to Twilight Town..." He muttered. "Twilight Town... I guess that's where I am." He walked around town, taking in the sights. He noticed a boy and a girl hugging. He thought for a moment.What if they belong to that group of creatures that attacked my village...? What if they'll finish me off like they did to my friends and family...? No! Gotta be brave... He approached them.

 

Sitting on the couch, Tifa placed her chin on her hands, staring at the other couch opposite her. She thougth about her choices, what had led her here. She didn't regret it, but whatever happened tonight, there was a good chance she might not make it. Xion had more to live for then her, so if it came to that.....she had to smile.

 

Roxas looked around his surroundings and stopped. He had felt an presence and could tell there were at least several members of the organization in this house. Cringing his teeth he tried to sneak past, Luxord in order to get towards Xion. "Why are you here?" He quickly summoned forth his keyblade and wasn't afraid to use it. But held it still as he noticed the gambler had left and scratched his head in confusment.

Leon saw Cloud wander back to the candy shop and saw that his weapon was pointed out. "Cloud, is there something wrong?" He placed his hand on the other warrior's shoulder to calm him.

Axel blinked several times at the time a little threatened with the weapon that Cloud had held out eariler, but then stopped his approach when Demyx was between them. So once again Demyx was stopping him from aggressing an fight. He had noticed Xaldin, but didn't have an chance to answer him as he ran off after some other target. Seeing that Cloud was gone made the flurry more relaxed as he thought perhaps he could talk to Demyx in private. "Demyx, if Xaldin was here then perhaps the other members are as well." He folded his arms casually.


Saix shroudded himself out of darkness and then approached Xenmas. Though his focus was on the moon as well. "It seems more complicated as I thought, but Xigbar and Xaldin are taking care of the traitors." His voice emphasized with complete emptiness in his voice. "Though with Axel and Demyx I am questionable on their motives."

 

An dark portal appeard on a roof top there the Gambler of Fate steped out looking at his companion. "ah dear Free Shooter the keys to the exclusive game is set up" Luxord said to the one eyed nobody with the Cid and Xion card in his hand letting Xigbar see their faces frozened by time on the cards befor they got captured. The british blond just had to chuckle he loved it when his plans worked perfectly and he could enjoy the final product. "shall we venture forth to our superior to present our progress to him" The Gambler of Fate asked Xigbar.

 

Xemnas nodded dreamily, barely acknowledging the lunar warrior's words.

"It is as I feared. Has Gex kept them in line? If he hasn't, I want you to do something special. find him and execute him infront of the traitor."

 

Xigbar jumped down from his postion in front of Roxas and gave him a cruel and devious smirk. Noticing Roxas with the keyblade, the older member revealed his weapons and pointed them straight at Roxas. "Ah so it seems you have come to play?" He remarked in a sarcastic tone. Preparing to fire in case Roxas were to make a sudden move against him or Luxord, he answered the gambler of fate's questions first. "Yep I suppose so. Xemnas would want to speak to us, but then that leaves the kid," he referred to Roxas. "And don't forget poppet," he added while raising his other freeshooter at Xion.

Cloud felt the sudden touch on his shoulder that made his eyes peer over towards his friend. Larxene had not moved a muscle or was planning something. He had to make sure she wasn't going to attack him or Leon out of surprise. "Nothing that I can't handle." He answered bitterly not trusting the female nobody. "Something tells me she is up to something."

Demyx shook his head for he knew what Axel said was true. "I know what you are talking about. I sense the others here too. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad?" He placed his finger to his lip to think then removed his hand. "Something is going on and I have this strange feeling it won't end well for any of us. The boss can only wait for so long, but pretty soon he will wonder we are all up to and come here himself I bet. When that happens we better have something to tell him or else it's torture once more," the melodious nocturne felt he was letting the Superior down especially with how the situation had turned out with Larxene and Axel. "Man I got to do something, but have no clue of what."

Raging waters was overhearing just beyond the steps of Altar of Naught of what Saix had discussed with Xemnas. Should she tell her master of what Saix was saying or leave matters be?

 

Roxas glared at Xigbar, but did not hestiate to lower his weapon. His stern expression still plastered on his face regardless of Xigbar's words."Where is Xion? What do you want with us?" He asked feeling the light in his weapon get brighter. This could not be happening, he couldn't lose his girl friend or her unborn child.

Leon looked over and starred at Larxene. "If she attacks us then she will be dealt with. I think we need to see how Tifa and Xion are doing." He grabbed his friend by the shirt dragging him away from Larxene.

Saix nodded his head and for a moment it seemed that a dark smile had broaden his features. "I have been waiting to hear that. Is there anything else?" He asked. The lunar knew that execution was not a problem for him and that Gex was simply going to hang on death row now. But what of Axel and Demyx?

Axel looked at Demyx and wondered if there was anything they could do to help the situation subside. Without a word he placed his hand on Demyx as he looked at him seriously. "It seems that the senior members don't trust us to get the job down. Demyx, there will have to be some drastic meaures, now are you with me or against me?" His tone was of course more casual, but it held an meaning to it. The flurry was an surival and he would do what he could to surive and stay on the superior's good side.

 

So....The Organization was involved now...Cloud's friends...Tifa rubbed her forehead, thinking. Politics weren't really her forte, she would rather just go in and plan a strategy to fight. So...if they weren't Cloud's friends, but his friends were on the same side as nonfriends....then maybe they could negotiate. Something had to be done, though. She didn't trust those Nobodies anymore, not even as far as she could throw them, and she most certainly didn't trust Gex.

 

Luxord stayed silent as he shuffled his deck of cards as the Free Shooter talked to the Key of Destiny. "ah where and when is she unfortionatly trapped" the Gambler of Fate said to Roxas with an smirk. Taking a few moments to look at the keyblade "that was always your ace Roxas but will that ace help you win this round of life" the blond british thought to himself silently. Looking at the one eyed nobody with an smirk "Roxas dear lad i would love to ease your mind but you should know how much the organization is demandable" the Gambler of Fate said as he pulled out an card from his deck his blue eyes looked at the card an smile appeard on his face as he saw it was the Xion card.

 

Xigbar loved to toy with the kid like he was a small animal. It was enjoyable to see him squirm and especially when Xion was involved. "Oh you mean poppet? You're just going to have to wait and see," he acted all causal like nothing was wrong, but indeed there was and it was starring at Roxas clear in the face in the form of a card. Xigbar knew what Luxord had accomplished and it seemed that their plan was going to go full circle. "Yep, I'll let all that sink in before you answer kiddo." He glanced at Luxord and sent him a sinister grin and a thumbs up with his left hand.

"Yeah she can die for all I care," he glared at Larxene and left with Leon for he was concerned about Tifa especically. Something didn't seem right to him and he had this strange feeling that he needed to get back in case there was trouble. Exiting the building and leaving Larxene in the lurch, he walked towards Demyx and then stopped to tell him something. "I'm going back where Tifa and Xion are with Leon. That's where you'll find me," he placed his arm on his shoulder and then released his hold and led the way for Leon to follow him.

Demyx felt the sensation from his shoulder and nodded understanding what he meant. Watching Cloud leave with Leon he turned his attention back to Axel to answer his question. "Of course I'm with you. Don't ever think for a second that I'm not man. The question is are you all right meaning with Roxas and Xion having a baby and all? Maybe we should go check on them too?" He looked in the direction to the west and then looked back at the flurry of dancing flames.

 

Luxord watched as Xigbar played around it was truelly amusing. Looking at Roxas the Gambler of Fate wonderd how long it would take for the young nobody to figure out the problem. With Luxord's stratigy there was an side benefit if Tiffa did not trade her life when Gambler presented the chance Roxas would hate her. With that both of the opposing partys would be weak slowly destroying themselves. With an light chuckle Luxord made the deck of cards disappear.

 

(OOC: Sorry for no reply. I was waiting for fire mage, but wanted to keep this going and had some ideas come to me.)

All Xigbar could do was smirk at the younger member and keep his other eye on Luxord. Starring at Roxas, he knew the keyblade would be revealing itself from the burst of light that was being produced in Roxas's hand. "Ya know, I've given you a lot of time to decide what you're going to do, but I guess I'm giving you the doubt, but I won't wait forever as time is ticking on by," he eyed Luxord again referring to the gambler of fate's element. In the back of his mind, Xigbar wondered if anyone had been sent out to retrieve him, Luxord or the other members yet. Surely Xemnas was growing impatient and would want to know the progress of how things were coming. Not to forget that Xigbar still needed to get Cloud and Leon and hopefully the trap with Xion and Tifa that was set up for them would ensare them like bait.

Cloud picked up his pace and came closer towards the residence that Tifa was at. Suddendly he paused for a moment as if a knife had dug into his heart. Grasping the left side of his chest he knew something was wrong which made him that more determined to get back to the others. Starring outside the window, he saw the display before him and froze like a deer with its eyes caught in the headlights.

Demyx waited for an answer from Axel and tapped his foot in annoyance. Trying to be patient though, he looked around at his surroundings and felt another presence from the other side of the town. Getting a shiver down his spine, his fears brought him to the realization that it could be Saix or Xemnas. Again his imagination was playing tricks on him, but the thought of seeing the boss in Hollow Bastion was enough to make him feel ill and worry about his well being once again.
