A Life to Lead ^_^

Gex shook his head, bending on one knee. Poor thing, She is suffering through pain that he could only dream of. A living creature feeding off you, only to burst out of your body. It must be suffering that pushes you to the brink of fading itself.

"I'm sorry, but all I can basically do to help you is hold your hair back. I don't think you'd want that."

 

Xion shook her head, almost crying. "I think something happened to it. The baby. I want to know if it's okay. I need it to be okay..." she whispered, wrapping her arms around her stomach.

 

Larxene’s body tensed as she watched Demyx move closer. Her eyes were heavier and yet still rather distant in contrast to the usually sharp, bright eyes that were to greet any oncoming person or Nobody – or anything, actually.
But no, not now. Her expression revealed a sullen shadow in her light. A stain on a white dress. I rip in the fabric of tranquillity. An ink dot on a page of scripture.
A fault.
Again, she didn’t reply. It felt insanely painful to hold back like this and stop things from spilling, spilling in many, many different ways that one could not imagine.
This type of emotion – this type of false emotion – that flared within her made the Nymph feel rather vacant, like the shield had been removed, showing the person it protected on a daily basis. Revealing the person beneath it whom did not want to be shown, and did not plan to be shown in the near future at all.

Still, no reply. Just a vacant, slightly sullen stare.
All because of pride..
P-R-I-D-E.

 

Gex stroked her stomach quietly, trying to calm her.

"Ssh Ssh, it's ok." He lied.

She didn't need any more truama at the moment and surely the truth would kill her. Anyone could tell that her baby was dying. Someone as young as her wasn't developed enough to bare a child. This was for the best. In truth, the child would be a freak. It would be a nobody that had no heart to hunt for, truly nothing.

 

Xion shook her head, weakly trying to push him away. "There has to be something..." her eyes widened and she grabbed her stomach, biting her lip. Pain surged through her, a huge wave of pain. She tasted blood in her mouth, she must have bitten through her lip. Her head spun. God......

 

"Damndamndamn" Gex murmered to himself.

This was bad. It started already. Her baby was dying and it wanted nothing more to take her with it. The abomination of teenage foolishness and cold blooded thought. Just for spite it would throw its own mother over the edge of the oblivion that they all balanced on.

Frantically, he looked around himself. The nymph and mullet were to absorbed in themselves so they'd be worthless. His Superior was no better. He'd let her die without a second thought. Maybe the other members would help. If only he knew where they were. He was alone, trapped with an impossible choice. Another death will stain his hands.

In defeat, Gex did all he could do. Bending down, the Masochist held her hand and cradles her head. Her agony would fill the air soon. This was all he could to soften it.

 

Xeol quetly did playfull strides making his feet splash in the pedals of water. The fog wielder's laughter ceased when he looked at his reflextion in the water. Xeol missed the way it was his dreams and his life was nothing now. Slowly lowering his hood with an sad frown on his face "am i the same" the fog wielder asked himself. Closing his eyes he felt Gex's presence oppening up an portal then entering it. The fog wielder steped out seeing Xion and Gex but something was strange. "uh what is going on" Xeol said to the Massochist wondering what was about to happen.

 

Xion cringed, gasping. "It hurts, it hurts, make it stop!" she whisper screamed, clutching her stomach. Her head whirled, but not enough to make the pain go away. "God, make it go away." Another explosion of pain rocked her body, making her eyes run with tears.

 

Gex's head whipped around, looking for the new presence. He couldn't believe it. The boy back from his initiation. He never thought he'd see him again.

"Xeol!" he exclaimed.


"That the Gods! It's Xion, the traitor. Her...her child. She's having a miscarriage. If we don't do something, she'll die along with her still born! Help me, please."

 

Xeol raised an eyebrow was he really distant from Gex just shrugging his shoulder he went over and sat by the man. After an few moments of hearing the man freak out Xeol put his hand on the man's shoulder."ill help" The fog wielder said giving the man an freindly smile then turning his gaze towards Xion "so she is the traitor i been hearing about" Xeol thought to himself. Most of the organization would let her die but he just could not let someone die espacially if she was giving birth to another that did nothing wrong. The fog wielder havnt seen Amber it bugged him wondering she went every moment in a way he been slacking in his missions but he was not serious about them.

 

Xion shut her eyes, trying to place herself far away, but it did no good. She felt something try to get out of her, but she held it in. It wasn't supposed to come yet, it was too early. "Make it stop, make it stop." she didn't realize she was murmuring this over and over, her nails digging into her palms.

 

Demyx stared into her eyes like she was an empty shell that had been cracked revealing someone else inside. He didn't know why she had not spoken to him as the silence dragged on like a cloud of darkness had swept over the area. Snapping his fingers, the silence broke shattering the solitude as he was prepared to say something at last. "Nothing to say to me huh? The truth about you hurts doesn't it? It had to be said. Like you give a damn about me anyway after I wrote you that letter and promised to be there for you not to mention you wanting me to protect you. I won't break my promise as you have done to me. Now for the last time what are you so upset about that you hurt poor Xion over instead of myself?" Demyx waited for her answer not knowing Xion was in serious pain and Gex was attempting to help her.

Cloud took a few steps towards Tifa and touched the side of her face, his fingers pushing her long hair away from her beautiful eyes. "Glad to know you and I will be there for each other." As he was about to lean forward to kiss her something he was planning on doing for a long time, a sudden stab in his heart caused him to clutch his chest as if something was wrong. Was this a sign from either Zack or Aerith that all was that well? Listening to anything that would give me a sign of what was wrong, his ears picked up on Xion groaning and earlier had screamed. "Tifa something is wrong with Xion." He whirled his head to the left as a sudden wave of dread washed upon him. "We have to help her."

 

Tifa closed her eyes, then pushed herself away from the counter. "Let's go." she said, turning for the door. "She said this might happen, but..." somehow the situation seemed worse. She headed out the door, then looked around, trying to find the smaller girl.

 

“Hold you’re horses, cowboy.†Larxene placed one sparking hand infront of her. “...I’m not keeping my promise? Is that what you’re saying? That ‘you don’t give a damn’ crap is pure bullshit. If I didn’t give a damn about you, I wouldn’t have wanted to find you or involve you in this plan of mine, and to be honest, you would have been launched from this building with your jaw snapped by now.†Folding her arms, she glared up at Demyx, her bright eyes seeming to freeze on his face completely. “I hurt Xion because she got too carried away with her mouth. I warned her twice before actually hurting her, and really, I’m not one to give chances.â€
She still looked at him, her soft features examining his expression as she slowly leaned towards the wall beside her. This was a discussion long overdue, and although it probably wasn’t the best environment, things were getting out into the air between the two.
I shouldn’t do anything too rash. Self-control is something I need to sustain.

 

Helpless, utterly helpless.

The masochist sat by the girl's side, clutching her hand. Maybe if she squeezed back some of the pain would be transfered to her. Damn hellspawnm, it chose the wrong person to make suffer. If it was born, the child would grow and prosper into a beautiful sadist that could have his fill with his screams and his spasms.

 

Demyx smirked underneath his hood that he gotten a rise out of her at last. Not that he intentionally wanted to piss her off, but he needed to know why she was so upset and finally she managed to say it. "I see why you're so upset. It does have to do with the plan, but..." he thought back to the time when he and her and been rescued by Gexion from Xemnas and then afterwards Demyx did speak to Xemnas regarding the plan after Larxene had told him involving the Turks. "Oh now I see." He starrted to laugh thinking Larxene was utterly absurd for how she reacted. "You think I told the boss that it was my plan and so you got all upset over nothing? Oh Larxene you should know me better then that," he revealed himself placing a hand on her left shoulder. "I asked him if the plan would be okay to carry out since he wanted us to confirm with him of what plans those would be and wheter he would approve or not. I didn't want to risk the chance of getting maimed again for doing something he didn't know about. I didn't tell him it was my plan at all." His eyes gazed into hers as he gave her a small grin.

Cloud led the way as he was looking for the young girl. "Xion? Xion It's Cloud and Tifa. Hang on!" He searched for her to see another guy with her. "Get away from her!" He yelled to Gexion for he thought he was trying to hurt her instead of help her.

 

Larxene nodded. She turned to Demyx, giving her version of an actual smile, which in reality, was very rarely - if at all - expressed. Her white teeth glistened as she let out a small laugh, bringing her right hand across her chest to lay it on his.
“I think I figured that out already, otherwise I wouldn’t be as calm as I am now.†She gave an unusual smile again, and closed her eyes, a sudden bout of tiredness striking her small body. She licked her lips and sighed, feeling a release as her body had chance to relax for a moment.
She couldn’t be bothered to listen anymore, and just wanted to block out the world for a moment and rest her eyes. She got bored of the emotions such as anger and frustration, although the need to feel them was so compulsory that it was almost consistent in all situations she was lumbered in.

 

Looking up, Gex didn't know if what emotiong he should have felt. If he had any, he was pretty sure it would be a tie between relieved and beyond scared. Finally, someone could help him help Xion. The only catch was, the pet Cloud wanted him dead. Torn, he did the only thing he could, beg.

"You! he roared.

"Please, help her! She's miscarriaging and if we don't act fast she'll fade."

 

Xion slowly let the world fade around her, letting it turn brighter with gold like highlights. She coudlnt' hear herself crying out, or anyone else yelling, she just felt the agony, and the beating of her own heart. Was that even real? Maybe it was just a dream, she didn't have a heart. This had to end, every minute was just making it worse and worse.

 

"What do you mean she is miscarrying?" Cloud shouted to Gex once he got down to Xion's side. "Xion it's Cloud. You'll be okay." He picked her up and carried her to another room. "This is not good. Tifa!" He called. He needed her help desperetly hoping there was something he could to asssit her. The only thing he could do was make her comfortable. Leaving her in the room, he got some blankets and some wash cloths with cool water to put on her head. Racing back, he placed them on her forehead.

Feeling her hand on his chest, he didn't remove it for he was enjoying the sensatation. He had seen something he had not in a long time. A geninue smile and not a smirk from her. "So what now?" He asked just starring into her eyes before she closed them like she was the nobody he knew she could be to him. "We could see what the others are up to if you don't mind?" He shrugged both of his shoulders. He had a worried look on his face about Xion and what kind of condition she was in when Larxene had hurt her. He was unaware that Gex had given her a potion and that she was miscarrying. "Unless there is something else you and I need to do?"
