"As long as you and I are never on opposing sides," Cloud mentioned after she had finished her sentence, touching her shoulder after he spoke. "I couldn't stand it, but this Nero character I don't trust at all."

Demyx turned his hood in the direction towards her. She had senced and spotted him. Just great now things could get rough. What was he supposed to say now? He better pick his words carefully and try not upset her even though he really wanted to lay out his words of how she treated Xion. Demyx hated it when others picked on others especially those that were more vulnerable. It just made Larxene a bully more than anything, but he wouldn't say that to her face bluntly. No he had to be careful around her. Though he was much taller than her and she was dwarfed in comparsion especially with her sitting down, he still had to watch his tongue. Thinking carefully of what to say he glanced down at her, his hidden expression concealed underneath his leather hood. "I saw everything and it was uncalled for what you did to her. Why have you come? Last time I saw you, you left in a huff from the Altar of Naught. Do you care to explain that?" He honestly said what was on his mind.

 

Tifa smiled a little more. "I can promise that won't happen." she murmured, placing her hands on the counter. "He's fine, Xion trusts him. She sees a lot more then she should, that girl."

 

Silence, thick and heavy, coated the air around the two.

She thought, wondering whether the truth would seem appropriate right now. What was he doing? Trying to be all spy-like or secretive with his hood up?
A small smirk lined her lips, but nothing too big that it would make the Nymph seem like she was in kinks over nothing.
“I came looking for you, actually.†Larxene declared, clearing the silence that hung between the pair or Nobodies. “...I was hoping to find Axel, too. You know, to fight... I didn’t want to go in there alone and end up dead.â€
She shuffled on her spot, looking at the shabby tiles below her as her fingers traced the outlines.
Did he hear what she said, too? What did he think? Urgh. I’m getting a freaking headache.

 

After taking an sip from some time sweetened rum. Luxord held the shot glass in his hand thinking of an way to lure her.There was plunty of options but The Gambler of Fate wanted to do the wise way. Taking yet another sip of rum looking at Xigbar. The tavern was quet slightly wet but surprissingly it avoided major water damage. "dear free shooter its better to do an direct approach so her easily misguidable eyes would witniss my memorable action" Luxord said as he looked at the bronze colored alchohol before he took another drink finishing the shot glass.

 

Xigbar picked up a glass of alchol himself and took a small swallow. "Yeah that is some good stuff. Just let me know when you plan to hatch your plan and tell me if there is anything I can help you with like maybe luring her to us by some chance." He placed his glass down on the table and wiped his mouth with the back of his right hand.

Cloud stood on the opposite side of Tifa, shifting his weight to his other leg. He just hoped Xion wasn't gulliable otherwise that could make her end up in a lot of trouble. He was unaware that she was hurt to no thanks to the likes of Larxene. "Like what kind of things?" He asked.

Demyx saw the smirk on her lips and he knew exactly what that meant. Something was brewing in her mind or she knew something he didn't. Was she actually being genuine or sarcastic by her comment. Her looking for him? Yeah to most likely hurt. He had to keep his guard up just in case. "You came here to find me or do have something else on your mind?" He let her think about that before he blurted something else out. "And yeah I did hear everything you and Xion were saying and happned to notice that when she was talking about me you didn't answer her. Want to tell me what that is all about?" He was smirking underneath it and savoring the fact she couldn't see him acting smug. It was a perfect way to fool her to make her think he was scared to death of her, anything to hear what she had to say about what Xion had said about him and if Larxene would deny everything or confess.

 

Tifa washed out the sink, then leaned against the counter. "She saw Aerith dying, me coming, you.....dying. She keeps an eye on Denzel and Marlene for me, as well as Barret. She knew I was going to ask before I did, so I probbaly didn't even have to. Not everything she sees comes true, but it just depends. She saw this whole place underwater, she saw herself losing the baby, she saw Gex coming...." Tifa shook her head. "Xion is something different."

 

Larxene fell silent again. Man, he was getting daring with his questions, and it made her the slightest bit irritated – or uncomfortable, she did not know which feeling was more powerful at that moment in time.
This time, she waited for the thoughts to fill her mind of the topic at hand. What was it all about?
Her mind drew blank, forcing her blonde head to shake side to side as she tried to think. And yet... Nothing.
“I don’t know.†She muttered, her eyes narrowing. “Would you know what to day if you were in my position? I doubt you would. I doubt anyone would. I just wanted to hurt her so badly, and to stop the words flying from that mouth of hers...â€

 

Demyx was in awe by how she was acting. So upset and clearly hiding something. "And why because she is right about you and you couldn't take it so you decide to shut her mouth by hurting her? You're being a bully Larxene something I thought you weren't. Clearly you're pissed off about something and are taking it out on the wrong person. So tell me what really is going on with you? And for the record I wouldn't get myself in these kind of situations," His voice was coarse and serious like he had become a different nobody entirely. His eyes were now narrowed not that she could see them from the shadows of the hood and that was what he wanted. If she saw his expression she probably would feel more threatend and uncomfortable. The silence hung in the air not one of them speaking afterwards until the other had spoken. He gripped his right fist, his fingers curling underneath. The tension was brewing betweeen the both of them that it could be cut like a knife on a stick of butter.

 

Larxene stood up, turning to face Demyx with a small sense of curiosity. He was beginning to make her irritated...or maybe even angry, if he pushed her far enough.
“Nothing is going on with me, Demyx.†She answered abruptly...coldly. “And come on, I thought you knew me better than you actually do. You shouldn’t be surprised that I lashed out at the kid when she came out with that bullshit. I asked her where you were... and that was it.†Small sparks flew from the Nymph’s hands unexpectedly, forcing her to readjust her gloves and clench her fists several times. “I don’t even see why she taunted me like that. It was stupid considering I only asked her a question...â€

 

Larxene was acting like a spoiled brat like she should be proud of what she did to Xion and Demyx wasn't liking any part of it. "Yeah, but you could of ignored it instead of fueled the fire and she was trying to prove that she can stand up to you." He looked down upon her. Something about how defensive was an obvious sign she was hiding something from him. "You're lying to me." He pointed to her with his right hand before dropping it back to his side. "I do know you. And you're using Xion as an excuse of wanting to hurt someone who really put you in your foul mood. So stop denying it. You were all pissed off when you left and I want to know why and if it involved me? Don't take your anger and aggression on someone who is going to be a mother soon. That's what makes you pathetic in my eyes Larxene," he had a feeling he would be regretting what he said, but in this side he wasn't going to hold anything back. "Face it you're upset with me and not what she said and that's what I don't understand so go ahead and take out your wrath on me. You'll be surprised by my reaction." He wanted her to open up even if it meant placing his own well being in the way.

 

Gex wasn't in the mood for the girl's games. She needed medication and she needed it now. He didn't want to hurt her, but it was the only way to stop her suffering. Taking his good hand, the masochist pinched xion's nose shut and shoved the vial into her mouth, not letting go until all of the green liquid was swallowed. Slowly, the nobody saw the bruises fade and the cuts knit themselves closed. He had healed her. It was the least he could do.

Looking out towards the edge of the rooftop, Gex watched and larxene sat with a cloaked figure. Their voices were those who were fighting. He could pick up a touch of whininess coming from the cloak figure. Demyx, of course. It was about time the Nymph found the musician. He was no Axel, but he'd get the job done when needed. Those two souls, the ones he saved. They'd never admit it, but their lives belonged to him, just like his belonged to this little girl.

 

Slowly, very slowly, little creases formed on Larxene’s forehead. “Don’t.†Was all she said, closing her eyes as more static – and tension alike – filled the air. She actually didn’t want to hurt him, and for that reason, she was tempted to portal away.
But no.
She would not do that. That wouldn’t seem right, not at a moment right now. She just wanted to walk away from everything, kill those stupid turks, and return for her heart. Once she obtained her heart, she wanted things to be right. But, of course, things were never right.
“Don’t ask me to hurt you. Don’t tell me to hurt you. And don’t expect me to either.†Her hands slid behind her back, both of them gripping one another as an internal war raged within her; she could spill everything, lose the respect – or what little she had – of others, and mostly, lose respect for herself. It just really wasn’t worth it.

 

Now she was startting to confuse him. Didn't she want to hurt him along, but how she was acting was unusual. She looked like she was hugging herself like she was suffering with pain inside of her. Then again it could only be a trick. He wasn't so sure of what to think now. Shaking his head, he stretched out his left hand towards her ready for her to attack. "The Larxene I know would have done it by now. Something is preventing you and I wonder if what Xion said concerning me is true and you can not deny it any longer. Are you actually experiencing other needs and fears?" He was willing to dive deeper into her insecurities just for her to break if it meant finding out the truth about what he wanted to know. "Larxene you can not deny this forever. Now admit it."

 

The nymph’s eyebrows twitched, edging their way further together as if to frown or form an angry expression. She resisted, and merely leered up at the Nocturne. “What do you want me to profess to you? What do you wish for me to proclaim, spell-out, or even scream at you in bold capital letters?†Her head tilted to the side slightly, her face cringing further into a more irritated type of confusion, rather than the previously curious type. “Is it so hard for you to read between the lines of things? Or are you getting to be the type to lower and degrade others until they spell it out?†She shook her head and closed her eyes slowly. “Go on then. Tell me what you want to know. Spell it out, if you want to play that game.â€

 

He walked closer towards her, his steps lightly touching the ground and hardly making a "Only giving you a taste of your own medicine. You have to be the one to tell me Larxene since I can't read your mind, but I can tell you what I do think though." His eyes were almost sparkling with life if it had not been for the darkness that was peering through. His demeanor was one of seriousness not to be messed with even by the likes of her. She had yet to see his true nature, the one he kept hidden unless it was time to expose it. There had been signs of it, but when pushed in the corner he would react accordindly. "This has to do with the plan doesn't it? You can't be pissed off because of that? I bet it's one thing and I will spell it out for you. P-R-I-D-E. You and I are supposed to work together on this not against one of another. I bet there are other things, but you don't want to tell me because you're afraid of what my reaction will be and don't you deny it. I heard everything what Xion said."

 

Choking, she slowly caught her breath, not daring to open her eyes. She knew who it was. "Why?" she asked, her voice no louder then a whisper. "I saved you, but.....why?" she winced as something wrenched back together in her stomach, then went still. The bad feeling was gone, but she wasn't sure what it had been replaced by yet.

 

Carefully, Gex laid the girl down on the building's roof, making sure she didn't suffer anymore from the medication.

"Sssh sssh." He started, placing a finger over her lips.

"I'm the one that should be asking that question right now. Why did you do it? I had you kill that woman and you still saved me. I don't understand."

 

Xion started, then watched him, her blue eyes confused. "Why wouldn't I? You had to kill her, it was either that or be eliminated yourself. I saved you because I can't watch someone die. It was my choice."

 

Gex curled his finger back, hearing the girl's words as he let his arm go limp at his side. Such a strange soul. She was kind of like himself, not really wanting to kill or be killed.

"I'm helping you because I owe you my life."

Gex glared over at the squabbling pair of nobodies

"Just like those two owe me theirs."

 

Xion sat up, wincing, pressing a hand to her stomach. She narrowed her eyes, trying to see...but could see nothing. Panic swept over her. "Look, I don't know your name, but I was pregnant, about three months. I think something happened. Do you have anything to help me see if...." she swallowed past the lump in her throat.
