A Life to Lead ^_^

Xion didn't open her eyes, a small smile curving her lips. "I'm sure you do. You have to resolve your issues, right?" She let her blue eyes slide open, looking up at Larxene with pity. "Maybe he doesn't want to talk to you. Ever thought of that?" she sat up, her hair brushing her blue eyes gently in the breeze. "Or maybe you were too desperate to get a man."

 

What.

Larxene’s azure eyes snapped open, a low growl tearing through her clenched teeth. How dare she even say such a thing, how dare she even insinuate such terms against her.
“What did you say, whore?†She hissed, lunging her hand down towards the girl and grabbing her by her black hood. “You wanna repeat that with no teeth in your skull?†She tightened her grip, and pulled Xion closer.
Quickly, she lifted her hand, taking the young girl upwards and partially off her feet. The Nymph leaned down, just so she was at ear-level.
“Go on.†She hissed. “Say it again.â€

 

Xion laughed, not nervously, just a normal laugh. "You think you're so tough, but I've seen the way you look at him. Sometimes he returns it. I'm not stupid. You want a man. Or several, seeing the way you've chased after Reno. Planning on being a mommy too? I can't help you there, I haven't had mine yet." Xion focused her blue eyes on Larxene's, the mirth still in them, though they still contained pity. "Must suck to have all those men chasing after you, but the one you want, doesn't want you back."

 

With her fist tightly clenched, Larxene slung her fist outwards. Her knuckles connected harshly with Xion’s jaw, sending a tight crack echoing through the sparse streets. With the same hand, she gripped her throat tightly, hopefully cutting off the air supply.
“I’ll kill you.†She hissed, leering intently into the other girls eyes. “And I swear, I will not give a second thought in doing so.â€
With her empty hand, she summoned her kunai, sending static to fill the air around the two Nobodies.
How dare she.

 

Xion winced, but didn't struggle, didn't try to escape. She just kept her eyes on Larxene's, her breath coming in short gasps now. She could barely breathe, her visiono got dizzzy as she kept her focus on the eyes in front of her. "You'll....regret it later." she wheezed, her hands grabbing the one at her throat. "You'll.....remember."

 

“Regret it?†Larxene chuckled, feeling the tingling satisfaction of watching Xion suffer at her grasp. “Ohoho, I doubt I’ll regret a moment of this.†She squeezed harder, smirking at the feeble grip the young girl had on her own hand. How pathetic.
“What’s this?†The Nymph queried, running one kunai blade across the fingers that gripped her wrist. The blade didn’t take the digits off completely, but left a thin red, seeping line of where it carved into the flesh lightly. She chuckled again, her grip loosening a little more; she did want to see her wince in pain from the cut, after all.
“I think you’ll be the one regretting at the end of this run, you little pregnant whore.â€

 

Xion tried to laugh, but ended up gasping, black spots appearing in her vision. "You plan on torturing me? Just like you hurt Demyx? Or something special." She caught her breath slightly, her eyes narrowing onto Larxene's again as she cringed from the blade. "I can see the future, dumbass. At least I stay loyal to one man. You just can't help chasing after every guy you can. At least Axel is getting better. Reno's so lovestruck he's practically drooling, but Demyx...you're just panting after him, aren't you?"

Reno questioned, sitting at a wooden table and watching Rufus on the far side, examining the data Cid had oh so graciously given him.It had been a while sine he had seen any action, and he was ready to bring some people to justice, Turk style of course.Elena and Tseng were, of course, monitoring the area around Nero, being his backup in case things had gone bad. And Rude himself was staying with Rufus for the time being. As for him ..not much was going on.

Raising a glass on wine to his mouth, Rufus drank in controlled sips, not wanting to get too engulfed in it.He had to keep his senses sharp, there wasn't any reason to celebrate anything yet.He went over the names again and again, seeing which target could be taken care of first." ..Odds are, it will be Axel ..he has some nerve showing his face around here after the lives he claimed over a temper tantrum.." he muttered, setting his glass down and standing up, leaving the papers on the table."..Or Larxene, depending on what shes been up to recently."

And it all came down to that, and who would have the right to take who down.Nero himself wanted to take them all on his own, but there were people Reno wanted to speak with before things went bad.Axel he'd like to talk with before, and Larxene was offlimits until he knew where she stood.Whether he liked her or not, she had still committed acts that were unforgivable.She was too proud to leave, he had to know that it was possible for her to kill him ..but that didn't mean he couldn't kill her if it came to it."..Larxene you leave to me .."

 

Exiting from a dark corridor, Gex glared at Larxene, his shoulders squared, his fist clenched.

"Number XII" He called.

"Stop immediatly what you are doing. We have far more pressing matters to attend to besides that girl."

Carefully, he pulled his skull from his right shoulder, He winced as a surge of pain flew up his body from the spikes in his arm. Man, what he'd give to just be electricuted instead of this stupid penetration.

"I'll handle the rest. Go and prove yourself to the organization."

 

Larxene turned her body ninety-degrees to her left, so that only the left side of her face was visible. Oh, now he wanted to stop everything like he was a higher rank? How insanely convenient for him to do so.
“Did you hear what she said?†Her voice rang, emotionless and cold. “...Well? Did you?†Her grip tightened as she closed her eyes, her kunai being raised to Xion’s throat. “I’ll kill her for it, if that’s what she is asking for. I asked her a question. A question. And so she came out with the wise cracks.â€
Slowly, she scraped her blade against the young girl’s skin, making a contorted noise in the process. No blood was drawn, and yet she was still causing the slightest of harm.

Eventually, the Savage Nymph let go of Xion, finishing her minor conflict with a quick – and electricity filled – kick to her gut. She sent the girl skidding across the roof, smiling as she heard her body collide with the brittle tiles beneath.
Now she turned, glaring at Gex with one of her piercing leers. “Wow, Gexlion. I didn’t know you were another to follow the kiss-ass tribe of Xion lovers.†She shook her head and placed her hands firmly on her hips again. “Now, what do yo want?â€

 

Gex looked down on Larxene. His fingers clutching his bleached skull almost to the point of breaking. The twin pools of emerald gazing into her sapphires.

She didn't get it. She didn't get a damn thing. There wasn't a clue in her head about how he missed her ferocity. Every day he never thought he'd find someone that would satisfy him like she did, only to cast him off like she was nothing. It was why he was letting her do as she wished, because he never wanted her to suffer, only himself. If he would be in a tribe of any lover, if he even could feel that damn emotion, it would be for her. She didn't know nor did she want to. Therefore he wouldn't bother telling her.

"I am in no tribe of any nonsense you are discussing. I am merely looking out for myself. Ever since I saved you from the superior, I've put my life in danger. You might not have noticed, but we're all on the watch list now. Since that is the case, it would be best if your loyalty got proven by getting that red head's heart as quickly as possible. If you don't, you'll be the one suffering pain instead of inflicting it."

 

Larxene shifted her weight from foot to foot, subsequently making her narrow body sway slightly as she thought about what the masochist had said. She didn’t like to feel pain inflicted upon her own body. She liked inflicting it upon others, yes; the feeling of additional power and dominance felt...nice to her, but on herself was just a big ‘ole no-no.
“I need to see Axel.†The Nymph confirmed, sighing. “I’m not one to usually say this, and I know I won’t be comfortable with what I am thinking of doing, but I know the power that those clowns posses, and that stuff isn’t nice.†She licked her lips, her foot a blur as it rebounded off the floor immensely fast. It was going to be hard, but she didn’t want to fade when she was so close to obtaining her heart; something she had aimed at for so long, along with the other members.
“I would say... The more people we have, the better. They have all sorts of tricks up their sleeves, and they travel together, or in pairs. I on my own will be out-numbered.†She glared up at Gex, sighing again in the process. “I know I like to go on my own. But it seems stupid to go into a place I will get killed in – and I don’t wanna get kiled.â€

 

Not showing any glimpse of emotion, Gex stared down at the sadist. It was a shame, an utter shame. Larxene was like a child, a very violent, immature child that didn't understand what she wanted or why.

"I don't believe Axel would want to jepordize his chances with the superior. If anything, you are the plague right now."

 

“I’m sorry, but have you been asleep for the past three days or something?†Larxene snapped, raising an eyebrow in irritation. “Were you even there when Demyx blagged off the plan like it was his own? All of us are going in there. This is how I prove my loyalties, Gex. I help kill them and obtain their hearts, to prove I’m not on their side like every damn person here assumed.†She shook her head, massaging her temples slowly and deeply with two of her fingers from each hand. “I want my heart, and if that means killing Reno, well, it’s bye-bye Mr. Axel-lookalike.†She waved her hands away from the side of her head, and let her left rest on her hip, whilst her right hung low by her side. “I’m not going in there on my own. I came here to find the Nocturne, Axel, Xigbar... I don’t know... everyone I can to take those assholes out. I don’t really care, as long as they can help. I’m not one for team games, but if the superior wants us to do that I will, I guess.â€
She walked past the masochist, punching him in the gut along the way to the edge of the rooftop.
“Come on then. I gotta find eople.â€

 

The nobody took the punch hard. His spine hunched, but his knees didn't buckle. He wanted this, he wanted it so bad. However, he'd never admit that he was so driven by it. Straightening up, he watched the Psycho turn his back to him. She thinks that just because the leader ordered it doesn't mean the other members would become bestfriends over it. There was no denying the fact that she was right. They needed muscle, even if it was muscle not inside the organization.

Looking down with a softened expression, the masochist scooped up the raven haired nobody. He stroked her face softly. This was his predecessor, the one whose loved one he made killed by her own hands. Through all that, she decided to help him in the castle, sparing him from fading. He didn't understand her reasons, but he knew enough to be grateful.

The nobody slipped his wounded hand underneath his cloak, rummaging before grabbing one of the vials. Taking off the stopper, he pressed the lip of the bottle to hers.

"Here, take this. You need it right now."

 

Nero, suddenly, without any reason at all whatsoever, turned and left the scene, heading off to wherever he desired because drama across the internet is getting really, REALLY old. Not only is the one playing him dealing with some heavy **** in real life, but the internet is no longer safe for him anymore.

Xion turned her face away, clutching her stomach. Badbadbadbadbadbad. She tried to form a coherent thought, but nothing came, except the bad. Something twisted inside her and she retched, covering her mouth with her hands. Badbadbadbadbad. Flashes burned her eyes. This hurt, this was bad.

Cloud didn't know what else to say for he was silent and lost in thought. A lot of information had just been given to him, but was she implying that he was selfish indirectly because he wasn't thinking of her needs? Sighing he looked away, unsure and his expression was blank wondering if she would continue to say anything else.

When Larxene had graced the area with her presence and when Xion was confronting her and had been hurt by her, the nocturne did his best to stay out of the situation and would see to Xion injuries hoping they were not to serious when she was alone for a moment. He had hid in the shadows the moment he sensed the savage nymph and it was best to stay isolated for the time being. She looked upset, enraged about something that Demyx did not want to approach her about. He did not want to get hurt by her again even though he heard everything Xion and Larxene were talking about and it had to do with him. If he had interfered it would of been disasterous. To make matters worse, Gex had shown up and was ordering Larxene around only to fuel her temper more and now Gex was trying to be close to Xion? Why did things have to be so complicated? Keeping an eye on him and both females, he kept himself concealed in the shadows along with his hood raised up concealing his identity. She wouldn't sense him not if he lowered his power level and plus when one was frusterated one couldn't think as clearly, but he had been wrong many times before. He hoped this time wasn't one of them.

 

Tifa smiled a little, touched Cloud lightly on the shoulder, then finished up with the dishes. "I can't always be the one to stay at home. You can do as you wish, but you have to realize I can do that to. I only ask that if I accept your choices to go away, then you accept mine to do whatever jobs I have to."

On a more serious note, I will take any of the turks - but not too many - until asshole eventually crawls back from his sulking session.)

Larxene paused at the edge of the building, peering down blankly as she listened to the retching that echoed from across the rooftop. “I’m sorry,†She spoke clearly, emotionlessly. “Am I supposed to feel sorry for you? Are you doing this for my sympathy, or for Demyx’s sympathy? Well it isn’t working, honey. You might aswell stop dramatizing and admit that you deserved that.â€
Having enough of looking over the edge, The Nymph slid closer to a nearby wall – the side of a higher corresponding building – and sat down. Her back rested against the wall heavily as she leant all her bodyweight backwards, her eyes closed in the process.
“Suppose you enjoyed your little show, hmm?†She mumbled, tapping her foot slowly on the floor she sat on. “I’m assuming you seen it, or have you just decided to delight us with your presence?â
