A Life to Lead ^_^

Xion sucked in her breath, then kissed Roxas quickly and dove for Demyx, hugging him around the middle fiercly. She had come, he would be okay, they could get out of this together. She closed her eyes, blocking the images. She didn't want them right now.

 

"So you were thrown into this at the last moment..?"

"...Well, I'm done waiting." Nero reached into his coat and grabbed his large silver gun, complete with two gun barrels, one over the other. He pointed it past Rufus and fired twice, shooting a hidden Assassin's peeking head twice, destroying it instantly.He then placed the gun over his shoulder, firing behind him without looking, having the bullets ricochet off the edge of a building and head down an alleyway, knocking out three Dusks.It was at this point that the others left were alerted and took off.

Looking around for a few moments, Nero holstered his gun back in his coat and looked towards Reno, Elena and Tseng, all of which were shocked at the moves.He looked at the three."..What?..something on my face?" he asked, running his left hand along his face.The sling could be annoying, but it was necessary.

Tifa smiled a little. "I suppose you could say that." she murmured, tilting her head at gun shots. They didn't sound close, but they were there. She smiled a little, still listening. "Hasn't that happened to you? Especially with Reno as a partner."

Demyx gasped, screamed out in pain from impact to his middle region and looked down at who was hugging him. The small figure with the short black hair was Xion. How did she know he was here? It was to dangerous for her especially in her condition. She had to think about the baby of all else. She was placing herself at risk by protecting him. "Xion!" He gasped and whirled his head around to see Roxas. "But how? Why?" He was confused and severely injured. "Xion you shouldn't be here. The boss he..." he panted, trying to catch his breath. "I did something stupid as usual and the boss is not acting himself as he has had it with me." He spoke quietly to her. "I can't move. I'm to injured."

Cloud continued his search for the Turks, his speed increasing until he caught the sight of Tifa speaking to Rude. This was different. Jumping down, he began to walk towards her.

 

Xion loosened her grip slightly, her eyes concerned. "I'm sorry, where are you hurt? Aerith..." she swallowed, "Aerith taught me basic medical healing." Her face grew stubborn. "I'm not leaving you. Neither is Roxas."

Tifa smiled at Rude, then whirled, punching at whoever had walked up behind her. Her eyes were fiercely brown.

 

Luxord watched the free shooter pretend to shoot imaginary creatures. A few moments later 3 of his dealer nobodys appeard this gave The Gambler of Fate and idea for an card game. An card appeard infront of one of his lesser nobodys "alright dear free shoot we shall engage in an delightfull card game" Luxord said with an smirk as the cards started to circle around the dealer nobodys. After an few moments the lesser nobodys turned into an card then they all gatherd infront of The Gambler of Fate he shuffled them by commanding the cards to shuffle by using his fingur that he twirled to instrict where the cards to go. "alright here is an extra prize Xigbar if you shoot the card that contains this" Luxord said pulling out an golden neckless that had an golden pendent that had an ruby engraved in the middle. After an few minuts of messing with the treasure Luxord tossed it into the shuffling deck of cards making it become hidden. "alright the game is shoot an card if it is fortionate for you to be an X or the golden ruby pendent chain then you win but" an smirk appeard on Luxords face before he continued. "if it unfortionately happens to be one of my gambler nobodys to appear or an blank when we travel somewhere if an bar is open your buying the drinks for the night" Luxord said as the 6 cards raised up above The Gambler of Fates head. "now shoot to select what you desire to choose hopefully lady luck favors you" Luxord said with an smile he raised up 2 fingurs "you got two chances remember dear free shooter luck can help you or destroy you" The Gambler of Fate said to the man.

 

Cloud easily caught her punch with his right hand and then let go. He had fast reflexes and was used to Tifa being aggressive and able to defend herself. "It's just me. I've been looking for you. We need to talk."

Demyx didn't want to argue with her as he winced in pain. "Just help me then. Don't interfere with the fight between Axel and Larxene. It's not worth it." He raised his head up to look at her in the eyes. "Watch out for the boss and whatever you do, do not challenge him. He'll get over it. Focus your energy on me." He coughed and tried to be strong for her. "I'm hurt everywhere. The boss seized me by my hood, and yanked me dragging me through the castle, to here and then flung me as hard as he could to the ground. I'm in no shape to fight and promise me you won't either or Roxas. You two having something to look forward too remember?" He gave a weak smile.

Xigbar placed his hand to his chin and thought about his choices. "All right let's see here.I'll choose the middle one closest to the right," he shot the card.

 

Tifa's eyes widened as she relaxed her arm. "Cloud, I'm sorry..." she glanced back at Rude, thinking. "I was with him. I can talk, but I'm going back with him." she stated. She didn't want him to think she was a pushover, and Rude was nice to her. She wouldnt' just leave him.

Xion nodded, holding her hands over Demyx's middle. "But you do too." she murmured, her blue eyes glowing at the small magic. Anyone could do it, if they were taught the right way. "No one is leaving wihtout you. We'll get Axel soon enough."

 

Demyx knew what she meant and he calmed himself down for her to assist him. "Thank you. I have something to tell you too, but it would have to wait until I get out of here if you know what I mean. Let's just say you and Roxas's munny troubles are over." He grinned and nodded his head. "Speaking of Roxas does he still hate me for helping him like I did the last time. I wasn't trying to take away his independence away. I was simply looking out for you and him." He hissed through his teeth, for the pain was becoming unbearable but lessening thanks to Xion. "Be sure to help Axel too. He's mad at me and called me a traitor, but I know he doesn't mean it. He's hurt in both ways. And please, don't argue but when the fight is over heal Larxene too. Larxene and I made a promise that I would be there for her and I intend to keep that." His arms were shaking as he forced himself to try to stand, but couldn't just yet.

Cloud wasn't pleased to hear any of this news, but he didn't want to argue. "Fine I'll go with you and we'll talk. It's about Aerith anyway." He glanced at Rude and then back at Tifa. "Let's go."

Xigbar thought of where he should shoot next. "Let's see how about the one closest to the middle on the left side now." He aimed his guns and shot that one.

 

Tifa sighed. "All right." she followed him, signaling Rude she woudl be back soon. SHe didn't intend to leave him now, because he hadn't left her.

Xion pushed Demyx down. "Sit." she ordered. "I'm going to help him....." she cringed. "Larxene...for you." she sighed. "For you, and your future." she smiled to herself, then sat back, her face slightly pale. "Now try."

 

Demyx attempted to relax, but was still concerned about Xemnas and what might happen to him and Xion and Roxas. What would Xemnas think to see them here back at the castle? Out of the corner of his eye he saw another member Gex and then he looked away to see Saix just standing there not saying a simlple word. "All right I'll try to relax I guess?" He knew it was easier said then done for his body was hurting in other places that normally didn't hurt such as his some of his organs and his stomach was giving him trouble at the moment, making him feel a tad dizzy and uncomfortable.

Cloud walked with her, hoping Leon would find his location. He stared at the destruction of the town and sighed. "I'm sorry this had to happen. Aerith was recovered by someone and I would like to know who brought back her body? I saw her laying on the couch and Cid was in no mood to answer me. We need to make arrangements as you know." He looked down to the ground, hoping she was at peace.

 

Luxord watched as Xigbar made his choice the projectile hite the selected card it slowly turned. When the tension was at its highest it turned reveilling it was one of his dealer lesser nobodys. The card disappeard and the dealer stood there starring at the free shooter. "im sorry but your destined choice was not an excellent pick dear sir but maybe lady luck will shine her honorable grace upon your next choice" he said to Xigbar with an smile. Now only 5 cards remained and Xigbar had one more choice The Gambler of Fate loved games and he was loving this one. The Gambler made the cards shuffle once again when they got done they went back up into the air. Luxord held up one fingur "remember gentlemen you have one precious choice left to pick an lucky card so be very carefull cause remimber if its not my beutifull treasure or an X you are destined to take me to an bar an pay the amount that will be presented to you" Luxord said to the man with an smirk.

When Xeol made it up the stairs he could hear an girl crying so the girl he heard about was loved here. With that he figured that with an high equipment place and Cloude being mention in the same sentence with a girl named Aerith this is where the man would come. The fog wielder wonderd about if he heard correctly the girl was named Tiffa and it seemed an group of people was causing trouble to the organization he was working for. "lets see if i can get more information i can do more" Xeol said to himself silently as he stayed in his fog form.

 

Tifa fiddled with a strand of hair, not looking at him. "Rude found her, when we were walking. He brought her back, under no obligation to us." She looked down at the ground. "She wanted to be buried at home. That's what she mentioned at me once." Tifa sighed. "How is everyone else holding up?"

Xion let her eyes slide shut, working hard to repair what she could. "Okay...you shoudl be able to walk, but I can't do anymore if I have to help the other two." she murmured, tucking her hair behind her ear. "But you'll still hurt, just not as bad."

 

Leon listened to the conversations being said and just nodded in agreeing with Cloud. He had followed as well as he had nothing else better to do. "Cloud, I since something else isn't right." He said as he looked at Aerith's body and turned away.

Roxas clenched his fist and looked at Larxene and then at Axel both at battle. "Why are they fighting?" He asked Demyx. He noticed that Xion was trying to help Larxene, but he pulled her back. "You will get hurt as the attention is focused on Axel in her eyes." He said to her and tried to hide from Xenmas.


Axel couldn't help, but start laughing at her ridiculous nonesence as he knew she was trying to get to him. He knew that at times that he fought using his emotions, but this time was not the case. He didn't believe her anyway and he saw that she did in fact avoid him. "Wake up Larxene since you and Demyx started avoiding me, I catch the drift. I don't see it that way that you ever gave me the benefit of the doubt. You can't prove it to me anyway.You and your stupid promises to Demyx. Feh....makes me sick." He replied avoiding a few of her fast melee's moves yet the slashes didn't stop him though it only stunned him and instead of keeling over from the back of the knee, he flew forward extending his right arm chunking her right in the stomach. A pointed part of his chakam point had landed itself there. He pulled out forcfully. "That is what you get for brusing my jaw," He mutterd his eyes still dark. "Only you can fix this, and you do know if we go to our extreme we will both kill each other." he motioned his body vibrating from some flares of flame that had dawned themselves on his cloak. The fire seem to be raging like an inferno as he checked on hers as well. "If we both die no one would miss me," his tone soften a bit as if almost with regret as he Twirled the twins dangerously once again and dashed forward and faded doing a tricky manever that only nobodies could do with warping and stood behind her as he thrusted the chakram right at her boot and forced it down to the ground hoping that she would lose her balance. A few gashes were on her leg as he stepped back.


A few of the assassins and dusks were killed as some of them retreated to get away and report back. They knew that Axel would be upset with them and most likely he may have to spy on the Turks himself. The assassins that were still alive stayed hidden, but went further away to avoid getting killed.

 

This was too much, far too much. Now the first traitor was comforting the other traitors. That was all the proof he needed. Unable to refrain any longer, xemnas released his attack. The superior threw his two aerial blades at the traitors. Like arrows cast from sinister light, the blade sang as they traveled towards their intended victims, begging to take a life.

The blades struck, but not in the soft flesh of their targets. Laying on the ground, pooled in his own blood, the masochist choked and wheezed. Spasiming, the lunatic tried to move under the influence of so much pain. The heart he had clutched tight in his trembling fist.

He couldn't let Larxene suffer, he couldn't. There was no way he could do it. Demyx was no exception. Without him, he never would have experienced her, the perfect pain, all agony and no damage. Such a thing he wished he could have forever. Now, now the girl was here, the one he took from. It appeared like his entire life had come together, right at the end.

 

Naminé's eyes studied Axel as she started to draw his picture in her notebook.
She wanted to get all the organization member's pictures;displaying different emotions.
"Must not be seen,must not be seen." She muttered to herself in a light,mostly confident voice.
She paced back and forth in place;her feet lightly touching the ground.
"Don't want to be heard,now do we?" She whispered to herself.
She continued to draw and take notes,waiting for the organization's member's next move.

 

"Because Roxas, Axel and Larxene just don't get along and they both said stuff to each other that made the other mad." At the cause of the commotion, Demyx hugged Xion holding her tighter as he would take the blow from Xemnas to save her and her baby, but instead another nobody had stepped in and sacrificed himself. Demyx cringed at the sight of blood he saw from Gex and wondered why he would do such a thing for him, Larxene, and Axel and Xion and Roxas. He thought Xemnas had aimed his blades at him and Larxene only, but with how the boss reacted and with the rage in his eyes who knows what he was thinking or doing. "Are we safe?" He panted, staring at the condition Gex was in. Starring at the boss with fearful eyes, he staggered up and took a few steps back while holding Xion's hand in case he was attacked again. "Boss why?"

Cloud listened and now understood what Tifa was saying and he felt guilty for not being there for her, not being able to prevent what had happened to her. "Not good." He then heard Leon speak which raised suspension. "I would like to know Leon." He turned back to Tifa. "Of coruse we will make arrangements to go back there for her funeral and obey her last wishes."

"Yeah, yeah I heard ya. In that case I will take the middle one in the center." He aimed his gun arrow at that one. "So interesting game so far as it is a nice way to pass the time I guess." He looked over the edge. "Yep the water is getting closer. It goes through some obstacles and night is drawing closer," he smirked.

 

Xion screamed as the future collided, and pressed her face into Demyx's coat, smelling blood. It brought back too many haunting memories. Slowly, bit by bit, the images slowed down, leaving her a headache. She winced as they sluggishly pounded through her brain. "He...he.." she could barely breathe.

Tifa nodded, still not looking at him. "I have to go back to Midgar, sometime." she said finally. "Marlene and Denzel miss you, and Barret can't look after things forever. I was going to ask Xion if she and Roxas wanted to stay there."

 

Roxas crossed his arms as he looked at Demyx shielding Xion, but he decided to not say anything as he looked on at Axel and Larxene. "It is a struggle between them. I know that Axel likes her and Larxene is being a bitter to not realize it." he wanted to say the word "*****" , but decided agianst it. He didnt want her to come after him next, but he was wowed by what Gex had done. His eyes went to flying saucers as he noticed that she was intense now. "Xion, what's wrong?"

 

Xion looked up at him, her blue eyes haunted. "I heard him inside me." she whispered, her body pulling her toward the strange man. She closed her eyes against the brilliant white object he held, then narrowed them to see against it. Gently sitting beside him, she wondered if she could save him and still help the other two...musing gently, she placed her hands over him, lightly glowing. She could at least ease his pain.
