A Life to Lead ^_^

The superior closed his eyes and sighed. He didn't want to admit it, but this child sounded like a good idea. It could be useful with his later objective, but he wouldn't let Demyx know, not directly.

Turning on his heel, he put his back to the mullet child.

"Find them, bring them to me. We'll see if the traitors are worth as much as you say."

 

Leon couldn't believe this was happeneing as well. This was their home and he had no idea where all of this water had come from. It couldn't have possibly been from the rain? No, it had to be something else, but he couldn't start pointing fingers right now. "Cloud, come on let's help the people."


Saix could only nod in Luxord's direction as he crossed his arms as well. Very highly disappointed in this. "So this is Axel's fault as well?" His eyes seemed to darken a bit as he glared at the melodious noturme. "Xigbar, stop kissing ass to the boss or Demyx he should of known better to ruin our plans like this," In the distance he saw a huge gaping hole and people running right into it. "Feh humans in this world are very stupid, it would be better to dispose of them all, but it would take too long." He looked at Xenmas as if he was on to something.

Axel had sent a dusk to listen in onto the conversation of the other higher members that were speaking to Demyx. He knew that he was screwed and so was Demyx, but it was stupid with the destruction that had happened. Either way he remained in hiding in the restuarant though for some odd reason he wanted to make sure that Reno was okay. Hopefully he had gotten out of here alive. It was not natural for Axel to care about another human, but he felt he had a connection to the Turk and had nothing against him. They also talked a little bit so that was the reason why he wanted to know about his safety. The flurry glanced out the window and saw people falling into the hole. "Oh man, give me a break," summoning a little bit of his power he called back his chakrams and then one at the side of the pit to make sure people could see the fire and go the other way. He wasn't going to put flames around the entire pit because then it would freak out people more. An redemption was on his conscience right now.

 

"Of couse and that means to get Axel away from them." Cloud lept down from the roof and bransihed his sword once he had leaped onto a spot of dry land that was away from the current. "What are you doing? You causing these people to die and you don't care because you're a killer yourself. I don't know if you're helping or making things worse, but Leon and and I are not going to stand around watching you wreck havoc like you did before to the town. I remember the contract and I will not kill you, but I will stop you if you are up to no good."

Demyx was now trying not to panic. How could Xigbar say such a thing that the water mage had kept hidden for so long? He couldn't put Xion in any danger, nor coud he hurt Roxas but he had to follow the boss's orders whether he liked it or not. There had to be away around it. "Boss, about what I said I don't think that is important. We don't even know if she is pregant, but we do know all about those unsuspecting people out there with hearts just ready to harvested so allow me to go with the plan of taking the job. I haven't signed the contract yet and I'll wear a disguise so no one will know that the rockstar is distracting all of these people."

Xigbar didn't know about the loyalty Demyx held for Xion and Roxas and Cloud, but in his mind, the freeshooter knew that if Demyx tracked Roxas down, he would surely fail and the boss could not afford another failure. "Demyx would screw up dealing with Roxas anyway if he is a traitor that is. I'll take care of it and it's best that he goes with the plan to decieive others. Demyx is perfect when it comes to deception."

Demyx agreed with Xigbar. "Sadly to say I would mess up especially if Roxas were to fight me. Fighting is not my strong suit and I want you to give Larxene another chance. I'm sure there is a reason of why she is doing what she is doing. She's an important member to this organization especially with her skills and speed. Please reconsider and I'll even take the punishment for her and my own if you would please understand. We can't afford to lose any of our members boss, especially if we have the Turks going to be coming after us."

 

Xion took Roxas' hand, and led him down the streets, stopping when the world around her moved. "Whoa...." she leaned on him for a second, closing her eyes. "Tifa's angry. So is Cloud. He..." her eyes snapped open. "He's fighting Axel."

Tifa whirled again, her leg snapping out to kill another one. She panted lightly, then took off, running after Cloud. Her thoughts were in three different directions, so she didn't notice anyone near her.

 

Roxas's eyes widen when he heard what Xion had said and he immediately got her to higher ground. The waves gotten out of control and he kept her safe on the roof. He could see Axel and Cloud at the distant and the scene seemed pretty bad as he saw the pissed off expresion on the flurries face. He meant business. But could he interefere? No his priority was Xion and their baby."

Leon backed up when he saw Axel as he remembered this was the one who had put him in a coma. "Cloud I would be careful, but I am not going near him. He is the one who put me in that coma," He said his voice darken for a moment.


Axel frowned when he saw Cloud and then eyes of fire glared dangerously at Leon and once again the guy was judging him. He found it kind of funny that he would threaten to hurt him, but not Demyx. Either way the flurry had quite enough with his attitude. It was time to settle this. If a fight is what he wanted then by damn he would give him one. Running across another roof the flurry landed right in front of the warrior, but of course he fighting range away from the current as well. "You idiot, can't you see that I am helping these people?" He pointed down towards the place where some people were running like chickens with their heads chopped off, towards the now water pit, but the others seeing the fire ran away from it. This warrior couldn't be this dense now could he? The flame dancer's snapped his fingers having his chakrams come right to him as he grasp them. "Leave me alone or I will kill you. Last warning!" His voice more harsh than he can make it with his expression darker and more dangerous than before.. In a swift motion the flurry sent some fire dancing around and as it began to chase after Cloud. Maybe common sense would tell him that he wanted him away and intimdation was the only way.

 

Xion, pulled against Roxas, her eyes wide. She turned and hugged him tightly, burying her head into his chest. "I can't watch." she murmured. "You can go and stop them. Please, do what you want. I don't want to be a hindrance."

Tifa pulled herself out of the water near Axel, then pushed her dripping hair out of her face, watching with a small frown. Xion knew this guy, said he was good, said she missed him...reading the situation, she got to her knees, then called out, "Are you Axel?"

 

Cloud glared at Axel not being intimidated by his fire since he had dealt with it before. Not to mention, there was water in various areas and he was going to take advantage of that. Jumping into it and making sure the current wasn't so stong, he held his sword up and would use it to defend himself against his attacker. Spotting Tifa, he waded in the water towards her. "Tifa stay away from him. He is the one that knocked out Leon. I would also stay away from Reno as he is not himself right now. The turks can not be trusted." He held onto her shoulder and wiped the few wet strands of hair away from her eyes. "Is Xion safe?" He asked her.

Demyx could only wait for the boss to answer, but it was to suspenceful and there was something else he needed to take care of. He couldn't run forever and not deal with his problems. This was his time to take care of things that needed to be done. He wanted to make sure Xion was all right, and hoped she or Roxas didn't get swept away by the flood and then there was the situation with Larxene. He would face her and help clear her name, but that meant facing her unspeakable wrath. "Superior I will be back and in the meantime um Xigbar will speak to you. I'm sorry about this. Please forgive me," he let go of his wave as it flowed down the mountain side before he made himself a portal to disappear into to. Hoping he knew what he was doing, he appeared before the savage nymph, and stood in front of her. "There is so much that has happened that you don't know so before you jump to hostility please let me explain for what I have done." He was either stupid or very brave to face her head on for his legs were shaking slightly and he kept fighting the urge not to run. He would deal with what ever she planned to do to him or say for in his mind she was worth any trouble or pain he had to go through to make her understand how much she meant to him from that time when she had made him a promise to always be there for him. He was now returning the favor.

 

Luxord stayed silent as everyone talked he could tell Demyx's legs was shaking and the mans nerves was shoot he could tell when an poker face failed. The Gambler always thought the Nocturne to be an obnoxious waste of darkness but with the man not running away and taking an gamble Luxord had to respect what the man did. Luxord sighed before he started clapping for Demyx's risk taking actions and reasonable explanation. "Bravo Demyx im honored to witness you growing an back bone by doing something risky that was intended to help the organization even if you lost the gamble at least you tried" The Gambler of Fate said to the mullet nobody with an smirk as he clapped knowing his words was one of the most encouraging and respected amoung the organization. Then he turned his attention to Saix and Xigbar "well no we await our superior's highly prized decision" he said to the two senior nobodys.

 

When the Nocturne had appeared infront of her, Larxene was perched on a nearby chimney top, close enough to hear what conversation and grovelling had taken place - but only in the tone of a low murmur.
So, he was willing to take her punishment for her? ...All of it? No matter how bad? Well, since she had last threatened to kill him, she really did not expect that. The honest truth was that she would rather be the one committing the punishing actions towards him, and not Xemnas; At least then she would get to have some fun.
The presence of Demyx did not sway her attention of the direction she was gazing in, with her neither turning, nor glancing at the nocturne to acknowledge his being there. What did he mean when he said ‘I'm sure there is a reason of why she is doing what she is doing.’? She was merely with Reno, eating dinner and conversing on trivial topics. It wasn’t as if she was giving out critical information which could send the organisation into a meltdown. All she had said to Rufus was their goal, and why they must achieve it. Did they just automatically assume that she was betraying the organisation? Yes, the chance had revealed itself so that she could do so, but she had not taken it upon herself to actually take herself away from the organisation at all, and did not plan on doing so in the future.
The turks, she did not care for. Rude, Elena, Tseng and whoever else may be in their smart-dressed clan of people with guns, were the least of her worries at the moment.
When she eventually looked up at Demyx, her eyes smouldered with the thought she had put through everything in such a small matter of time. Why had he come to her when he knew she was furious?
“You have two minutes to explain, Demyx. Two. Minutes.” With a swift nod, she allowed the Nocturne to carry on with whatever he was to blabber over. If she had a question, there would be no hesitation to interrupt and ask, for she was not one to be messed with at this moment. He had ruined too much for her so far, considering the fact that Demyx had previously professed that he cared for the Nymph; he didn’t do a decent job of showing it. Well, not as a good a job as Reno had done. On the other hand, Reno was a ladies’ man, and knew how to charm...
But, as for now, the ball was in his court. It was probably his last time to prove himself to Larxene, as she was certainly done with holding back on him.
In preparation, she summoned her kunai, and began to twirl them around her fingers in a bored fashion. “I’m not getting any younger, Demyx, and your time isn’t getting used any wiser...”

(OOC: I tried the best I could, I'm just not in the best of health today and couldn't put as much as I wished I could have. x)

 

Tifa nodded, her eyes meeting Cloud's for a moment. They had all she needed to say in them. It was strange, how they knew what the other was thinking like this, but effective. Xion and Roxas are fine, they were going to be attacked by some heartless, but I dispatched them. Seems Xemnas isn't the only one interested in her anymore. She watched Axel carefully. Xion knows him.

Sora dodged the blow with a reversal, then jumped in the air and executed a backward flip. This time a ribbon of Darkness trailed his feet and legs, wrapping itself around them as he landed.

"No," Sora whispered to himself, "Not yet. Even if it is the only way, I... I can't." He whirled his Keyblade to make it a spinning shield and cast Reflega on it to keep it spinning. He noticed that his Reflega had a Dark element to it, each hexagonal face reflecting only blackness. As Sora shield bashed the apparition, knocking it off balance. He followed up with an Ars Arcanum, finishing with a powerful Zatensuken slash, leaving the double battered and fading. But it didn't last.

"So I do have to. The power of Darkness. I suppose, it's time. Give me strength!" And so it happened. Sora transformed from a man of the light to a creature of the dark, if only temporarily. An Oblivion appeared floating by his left hand, Oathkeeper at his left. It was time.

"So this is... Darkness."

OOC: Well, this took a while. If you're wondering why Sora's Antiform has Keyblades, I got the idea from this video on Youtube.

 

Demyx nearly stumbled over his own feet as he took one step closer. Yes he was afraid, no more like horrified, but the truth needed to be said and she deserved to hear his conversation. "Um first of all, you won't have to worry about getting older, for we won't age and we'll stay this youthful forever," he hinted back a chuckle trying to bring some humor into the situation. He was that kind of guy, to remain optimistic and hopeful that even a bad situation could get better for it was all in the mind. "And you can continue to be yourself the way you are forever." He chuckled again and realized if he kept this act up it was only prolonging what he wanted to say. "Oh all right. You want to know why I flooded the town right? Well the truth is Axel and I were after this woman who looked like you and we throught she was a huge threat as she belongs to the Turks. I don't know if you ever met her, but she is the opposite of you and not as beautiful or deadly as you are." He grinned showing some of his charm. Clearing his throat he continued. "She ran away and jumped in the sewer of all places to get away so Axel took to the rooftops and I decided to use my water to flush her out, but somehow she got away so I decided I would get her and prove to myself to the organization that I to can be deadly and dangerous like the rest of you which explains why the town is flooded." He waited for all of that information to sink in before the other things he wanted to say. After all he didn't just want to ramble like an idiot.

Cloud fought the current that was past his legs by proving himself not to fall over as he glanced at Tifa and then Axel. "Are you sure you can trust the guy? He did hurt Leon, no knocked him out cold and he summoned his fire towards me which is why I'm in this water. I don't know what the reason was for hurting Leon, but it was uncalled for." He sighed and looked away starrring at the water that was passing through the town. "Aerith's body floated away and I wasn't able to get it, but I won't stop until we have layed her to rest. It's what she would want."

Xigbar scratched the back of his head and gazed at Luxord. "You know everything you said, the guy didn't hear because he disappeared, but he said he would be back." Glaning at Xemnas he walked towards him. "Superior, what do you think of all of this? Before you could give Demyx an answer about what he asked he left and I think I know where he went."

 

"Xion can find it." she murmured, keeping her eyes on Axel. "Xion knows him. Cloud, we have bigger problems. The man who....who took Aerith. Xion said he wanted her heart. Now if he takes her heart...." she waited for him to see it, her large brown eyes, watching his face now.

 

Xemnas looked off into the distance, Scanning the town's soaked remains for his targets.

"I do not recall what Demyx had said nor do I care. We have more important things to worry about. For starters, We need to find number XV. I sent him on a mission and he has not reported back. He might have gone the way of the others. The second objective is to find cloud and leon. I need them, quickly. Do you understand Xigbar?"

 

Luxord was just practicing what he would say to the water wielder most of the time his words would be irritated because of the other nobodys obnoxous behavior. The Gambler walked over to Xigbar as he listend to what his superior said. "Free Shooter there was an meaning to my rambling on without the subject being around to hear it i simply practiced what to say after all i am known for my words also unpracticed words often leads to making the speaker looking like an fool" Luxord said to Xigbar giving the man an smirk. Then he turned his attention to Xemnas "my dear superior may Xeol have an oppenturnity to venture with the free shooter cause he is sadly stuck in the castle being bored because of fate since i presume Xigbar will be blessed with the duty of finding number XV or two find the two humens" Luxord asked his superior respectfully and politely.

Xeol was walking around he heard two lesser nobodys talking about the incident. The fog wielder chuckled to himself thinking how bad Demyx would be scared. "he is probally wetting his pants" the fog wielder said to himself with an smile as he oppend up an portal. Xeol appeard where Xemnas and the others were as he steped out of the portal. Xeol looked around "wow demy made an mess" he said to no one perticuler as he walked towards the others looking at the mess.

 

"Come on ..get up, you can't kick the bucket yet old man ..I haven't even had your pasta yet." said Reno as he helped a soggy old chef to his feet while the man whimpered, muttering about his home, his restaurant, but more importantly ..his family."I know, I know ..one thing at a time." this was a serious disaster for the town."Restoration Committee must be having a handful.."

Once the man was comforted to the best of his abilities, Reno rubbed the back of his head at the others who were now on their feet and leaving the destroyed Olive Garden, only to find himself looking down towards a large pit down below the level he was on.And by that pit, there was Axel.And, as usual, Cloud was picking a fight for the wrong reasons.


"Reno!" Tseng called as he, Elena and Rude ran up to him from the flank, both dry except the ankles and below.None of them seemed to be harmed in the slightest.They had been looking for him this entire time."Where've you been?"

"Yo!" Reno turned around and quickly grabbed Elena, giving her a tight hug.He realized he shouldn't have left her alone like that ..it would be the last time, that was for sure."Glad you're all okay ..Elena, stick with me this time."

"Forget it, I'll ask later ..me and Rude are going to find Rufus, you two help the people and check all the damage!" Tseng nudged Rude and ran off with him as well.

"While you were enjoying your dinner, Axel and that other guy were chasing me!" Elena pushed him a little and looked down there towards Axel.

Surprised to hear this, Reno looked down towards Axel."..For what?" he wondered as he nudged Elena and descended down the steps towards him to get some answers."Axel, come here for a sec!"

A gentle knock was placed on the door of Merlins house, and outside that door was Rufus Shinra, cloaked, but standing with a metallic cane.He needed to talk with Cid, desperately, about the town and perhaps use his help in other departments as well.

 

Well, this guy could talk alright. He could seriously blabber over obliviously trivial rubbish. Soon, Larxene grew bored and began to pick at the tips of her gloves, beginning to slowly mute out whatever Demyx was talking about. Blonde girl....blah, blah, blah....looked like Larxene... blah, blah, blah....She was prettier, obviously....blah, blah, blah....
Finally, the nocturne had finished talking, ending his lecture with the typical ‘and explains why the town is flooded.’ How drab. She expected at least some blubbering, not just the stating-the-obvious comments regarding her beauty and deadliness; she knew all of those were true, at least.

With the closing of her eyes, the Nymph sighed loudly and put her kunai back in between her claw-like fingers in preparation to tear the water mage apart completely. First she would start with the cutting of his body, then move to his arms, legs, then throw him from the building-top completely. Perfect plan, in Larxene's eyes.
“Are you done, now?†She asked, reopening her eyes to look straight at Demyx. She had never lost that aggressive edge through his inane speech, and didn’t plan to. “Or do you have any dying wishes to profess?â€

 

Cid placed his hands on his head as he noticed the screens showing the damage of the town and people have a frantic attack. He had no idea of what had caused such an catastrophic mess. "This is an nightmare," Supposely there greatest hero Sora could aide them since he had no idea where Leon, Tifa, Aerith, Cloud, and Yuffie were. Perhaps they were helping to clear this mess up. Drawing out of his thoughts they were interrupted as he noticed a knock on his door. He pulled the cigarette out of his mouth and left his rolling chair as he clutched the handle of the door then opened it as he gazed at the cloaked man with the metallic cane. "Yes?"

Roxas held Xion back as he shook his head at the mention of her words. "No, that was a big mistake and I am still kicking myself in the ass for it," He replied. "I need to keep you safe and I can't chance you running off again," he added with concern.


Axel swung his head in the direction as he noticed that voice of Reno and then he gazed in another direction and glared at Cloud who seem to be threatening him again with the sword except in the water. He saw Tifa and only nodded in acknowledgment that he was indeed Axel. However, with Cloud throwing accusations at him and telling him he was a killer and other trival stuff was beginning to show more disinterest in the flame dancer's emerald eyes. He already knew this and he wasn't going to explain it anymore. Axel completely rolled his eyes when he saw Cloud had dived in the water, but once again threatened him with his sword. The flurry took a few steps backward to keep himself prepared just in case Cloud might pull a fast one. Tensing a small bit for the water he thought that this warrior was crazy especially since in Axel's mind he was challenging him to attack him in the element which he dreaded the most. The pyro didn't have time to mess with him and started walking away from him and Leon. "It was self defense, but you two are the ones who brandished your weapons on me. He deserved the outcome that he received," he merely said.

Leon balled his fist at the remark, but he knew that Axel was right because the warrior did try to threaten him with his gunblade. He kept very quiet. "Nobodies can't be trusted. Oh and I deserved to be knocked out?" He folded his arms with his weapon brandished as well.

"Get over yourself. You think just like Cloud! Which is to makes matters worse, " The flurry then stepped down and descended down the steps to talk with the one who had called out his name. "Reno, glad that you got yourself out of here, but was it you want to ask?" Again his tone was more casual though he saw Elena there as well. "Oh it is a good thing that you found her even though she ran away from me just because I don't like to be snuck up on,"

 

Demyx was getting more weary of her by the second now espcially with the kunai back between her fingers. "Uh Dying wishes? You know you wouldn't kill me. I mean to much to you and without me the organization would be boring. You're a woman of your word and you said you would always be there for me right?" He reminded her of what they both spoke of awhile ago and that was before all the hostility. "I know you don't want to take your rage out on me. What good would it do?" He scratched the back of his head and moved his fingers tapping the back of his head until he brought it down and extended one finger out at her. "And I'm willing to help you if you give me the chance. The boss is thinking otherwise about you something about not being in the rebirth since he doesn't know whose side you are on. I was convincing him that you were on our side and still are. It's not easy standing up to Xemnas for it could very well mean crucial danger for myself, but I'm doing this for you because I don't want to lose you and... " he paused knowing this was the hardest thing he had to say to her. "I care for you and if you don't believe me then you're not keeping your promise that you made to me at all." He placed his hand over his chest where his heart would be if he had one. "I miss what we had before Larxy. I was a fool to ever push you away. I'm willing to change and do what it takes to prove to you that you and I can get over this hatred and be like we were." He walked closer to her. "If you want me to be tough and strong, I can very well do that as you've seen my destrucitive power. If you want me to be a victim of your enjoyment then by all means just as long as you don't go to far and if you want me to grovel just so you and I can get past this I will." He got down on his knees to prove he was serious. "I would die for you and it might end up like that for how I was questioning the boss to save you and convince you that you're one of us. I know I'm acting pathetic and weak and easy to kill right now, but I'm confessing what I feel towards you okay?" He then looked down, and stood up awaiting her answer. "Oh man I can't believe I just said all of that."

Xigbar spotted Xeol whom had showed up. "Well it looks like Luxord you won't have to go get him afterall." His hand stretched out towards the destruction that Demyx had caused. "Yeah the water boy has a lot of potential. He means well and his power is great when he wants to show it. I got to hand it to him though." Before he could forget he wanted to answer Xemnas so not to be rude. "So you want me to get Number XV and Cloud and Leon? Whatever you say you're the boss and Luxord and Xeol can come with me if they want, but that is up to you of course."

Cloud watched Reno descend from the steps and he eyed the turk suspiciously not caring that he was talking to Axel and visa versa. "Aerith is gone just so you know. It would help if you could send any of your men to find and retrieve her body. This did not have to happen." He glared at Axel. "If you want to redeem yourself for the destruction you caused on this town earlier and the pain you caused my friend, do want you can to make yourself useful and find Xion and Roxas. Make sure they are safe, but know this nobody if you ever hurt Leon again for no good reason, I will have no problem returning the favor and giving you your own medicine. He glanced at Tifa. "Xion does not need any of this stress. We have to help her in anyway we can. I'm going to find the one who killed her. Leon you can stay or come. It's up to you."He got out of the water, and wiped the water off the best he could from his pants.

 

Luxord saw Xeol appear the boy always appeard at the right time. The Gambler was gona anwer Xigbar but he knew his superior did not speak. The Gambler of Fate pantiently waited for Xenas to speak giving out the orders. Luxord sighed and shook his head thinking about Demyx and Larxene once again he would be the grown up to get the chldren to behaive.

Xeol looked at Xigbar giving the man an smile. The fog wielder curiosity wonderd what the superior was gona say and what entertainment that would appear. "hey Xiggy" Xeol said to the one eyed nobody when he gave the man hug. After he got done hugging the free shooter he took another look at the destruction. Then he turned his attention to Xigbar again then started poking the mans shoulder "soooo can you pweez tell me whats the plan and whats eating up the boss cause he been mad lately" he said innocently as he continued poking the mans shoulder.
