A Life to Lead ^_^

After what seemed like hours, Elena had to stop and catch her breath.During her running she had gotten up from the ground below and climbed up on the cement walkway on either side of her.Figuring she had lost them, she decided to check out with the nearby grate above her.Turned out that some weird creatures wobbling around above her, staring down at it.Now, she can take care of punks like those with ease, but during the period of getting that grate open, she'd be a sitting duck ..and she wouldn't waste ammo on blindfiring them.While she couldn't get them, they couldn't get her. A stalemate.

"Damn it ..I'm not going to run around and look for another ..all this just to--" she froze, hearing gunshots above her and seeing them collide with the Dusks, destroying them with ease before they could even raise their heads."..?" she began climbing the ladder and listening for any voices.

"These things are everywhere ..are these the 'Nobody minions' Rufus talked about?"

"Probably ..never seen things like that before ..and the signal stopped right here, so where is she?"

"Rude, Tseng, down here!" Elena shouted up to them, hearing her voice echo around her as she raised her left hand to try and shove the grate over.It was hard to do with one hand.But she was surprised the signal went off for trouble.good thing they set a password for their phones to fit all kinds of situations.

"..Elena?" Tseng moved with Rude towards the sewer grate as he reloaded his gun.He'd keep watch, but Elena needed help getting out."Rude, you got this?"

"Hmph." always the dirty work for Rude, but he didn't mind.You needed muscle for certain things, and with Tseng having a ranged weapon the situation called for him to help her.He slipped his hands through the hole in the grate and lifted it up with ease, setting it down beside the sewer hole where Elena was waiting.He extended his hand towards her, hoping to help her get out."Sorry we're late."

"Better late than never." Elena took his hand and climbed out with the help of Rude's strength.Finally, out of the surprisingly clean sewer and into the open again.She didn't even recognize where they were at anymore."I take it the tracking system worked well?" she patted Tseng on his shoulder while he scanned the area.

"Yeah ..things must've gotten rough for you to have been running around so much." Tseng responded as he slowly backed away from the grate.Rude and Elena followed cautiously beside him.Rude retrieved an Electro Mag Rod from his suit while Elena pulled out her own gun to use."Rufus is safe ..he's taking care of something at the moment.We need to regroup ..is Reno safe?"

" ..I think so, he's with Larxene I think ..did you guys shut the phone off like he wanted?"

"Yes, its unusable now."

"All right ..but I'm being followed, so I think we should put off meeting up with Rufus."

"We'll be fine .."

"No, you don't understand ..they are annoying and persistent ..they won't just leave me alone."

Tseng suddenly came to a stop upon hearing this, as did Rude.His eyes flew to Elena's."..How many?"

"Two.."

"Gender?"

"Male.."

"..Perverted now, are they?" shaking his head, Tseng ran off, Rude and Elena following closely behind, armed.

"Hm..?" Reno looked up at her, noticing her features gone sour and her attitude gone irritable with a suddenly interval.And her rage usually came from certain people. Looking behind him towards the open glass window, Reno stared back at Cloud and his butt buddy, Leon(Just a term, don't get mad).Figured. Cloud wanted him to die and get hurt and all that crap, yet here he was staring at them like some lonely puppy.How sad."Jesus, is Tifa NOT giving him any?" he questioned with a smirk as he waved over to Cloud with a fake smile.

Now, to do a little showing off.Cloud could only wish he had a babe like Larxene after all ..Tifa and Aerith must've either seen him as the egotistical moron he was, or just went lesbian(again, just a term, don't get mad).Looking back towards Larxene and her glaring, Reno slipped his arm around Larxene, dragging her in his grasp and giving her an intense kiss on those lovely lips of hers.Oh, but was he done?

No no no ..

Raising his left hand, Reno delivered a swift smack to her rear end and gave it a nice squeeze for a few moments, just a few, before raising the middle finger towards Cloud's direction.Hah ..jealousy was amazing, wasn't it? What Cloud needed to do was stop obsessing over Reno and Larxene, and everyone else, and get a life quickly.He was a washed up hero who was now working with criminals, and while Reno couldn't say dating the enemy was better, he wasn't letting people walk off and kill others either. Larxene would be free of them one day ..he was sure of it.

 

Gripping his head, eyes closed, Xemnas tried to drown out the constant sounds and noises his subordinates were making.

"ENOUGH!!!" Roared the superior.

"One at a time, all of you. Saix, repeat your request, after words come you two."

He pointed at the dancer and Xigbar.

 

Now what was happening between Reno and Larxene, Cloud did not see any of this for he had been talking to Leon at the time and if he did then Reno would of just degraded himself in front of the blond warrior. With his back against the wall, Cloud felt a slight rumbling beneath his feet as he heard the noises through the kitchen of chefs preparing food and others attending to the restrooms. Widening his eyes, the rumbling became more noticable like a earthquake was taking place.

Thinking that he had washed her out, he sent one of his dancers to survey the area where the water would come out, but this wasn't the case. The dancer traveled quickly though the sewer rescuing the assassins before they got killed and brought them back to their master. The dancer then joined the dusks and traveled to the other side of the town to cause havoc to a nearby moutainside. "So she is crafty and escaped the flood which means she is above ground. No matter, the damage is about to begin." He felt the vibration below his feet and smirked knowing the water below was passing through. It was time to let himself be known for who he truly was as Xemnas had told him many times. Narrowing his eyes, his demeanor had changed to that of one who was serious, coniving and unforgiving. There was a reason why he was part of Organization XIII, and he would let this world know it. "And for the next part of my plan," playing his instument once more and being an individual of having no heart for what he really was, the young nobody manipulated the water to flow back towards him away from the sea and the outskirts where it would of have normally ended up. The lower nobodies saw the water recede as they kept up their destruction upon the mountain.

Spraying up, the water errupted from the ground in front of him, splashing the streets and washing any debree from the roads to the lines of the plumbing thus blocking them and causing any water lines to break thus bringing forth more water. Using this water, he combined it with his own until it became spiraling towers, a wall just ready to crash like a tidal wave upon the town. Instead of bringing the wave upon the ground in one onslaught, Demyx split the wave apart with a simple pulling back motion of a string from his sitar, this action creating two waves. Dancing his fingers across the sitar, the one wave swept through the underground and this time there was no escape for it as the exit had been blocked with a landslide of rocks from a nearby moutainrange on the outskirts caused by the dusks and dancers with their violent attacks to it as instructed by thier master. The wave above ground, however held its self rising in the air for it was the control of the nocturne whom relocated himself up towards the higher regions where numerous unsuspecting people would panic and run to safety trying to avoid the underground flood only to find themselves doomed in the end by reaching higher ground and get washed away by the wave being controled. And there it stayed shadowing the unsuspecting town up on the higher levels unable to be seen until one reached the upper elevation and went past the hillsides. Demyx made sure his secret weapon could not be seen by the town until it was to late.

Cloud's feet were now vibrating and it was like an earthquake had struck the town. Quickly he got inside the restaurant starring at Reno and Larxene not saying a word except his yell to the manager. "Evucaute this place now. You are all in danger." Get out!" He ran to the kitchen and yelled to the chefs. "Don't use the plumbing." But it was to late, the water gushed out through the plumbing, breaking the lines and began to flood the restaraunt. People screamed and scurried for the nearest exit, but an explosion was heard from the ground as the water could not longer stay underground, thus blocking it and the water was now up past everyone's ankles as if standing. Cloud jumped onto a table, slashing the roof with his sword and jumped out, now standing on the roof, gasping from nearly being struck by the water himself. It begin to rise more, and created a current, breaking the glass of the windows to escape the restraunt. It wasn't just the restruant, it would occur anytime water pressure was being compressed by a faucet, a line, a pipe, sinks, toilets, anything where water was being used.

Demyx being with the wave in the distance in the higher regions where no one knew where he was at, stood on top of a ledge to oversee what his dangerous element was doing to the town. "If this doesn't get that woman then I don't know what will." Laughing softly to himself, the water had that blasted up from the ground, began to break the power lines, the sizzling of electricity now evident as the water washed over it, flooding it complely and turning off anp power and cutting off any reception for phones, any high tech equipement and anything that involved the use of electricity. There would be no contact, no restoration or any chance of backup to get the power on not with the water present. "This will prove myself to the organization and we'll see whose side Larxene really is on. If she stays and protects Reno, then she is what Axel says, a traitor to be dealt with, if she reveals her true nobody instincts then she is one of us. The question is what will you do Larxene? Will you betray us and have Axel annihilate you like the trecherous demoness you are or will you realize the truth about us?"

 

Larxene pulled away from Reno, and was on a table before anyone had time to blink. Water? Crashing everywhere? Oh, well if this didn't spell out "MELODIUS NOCTURNE" then what the hell did!?
With a glance at Reno, she knew he would be able to save himself. "Reno," She called towards him, her eyes piercing with imminent fury. "Get yourself outta here, find your little crew, and just... Just get away from this place once and for all, okay?"
At that, she was out of the building completely, looking out into the horizon. He was out there somewhere, most probably laughing to himself of the mess he had made of Hollow Bastion. What an idiot he was to mess with a female such as Larxene. What. An. Idiot.

She glanced at Cloud, but decided that ignorance was the best option at a time such as this. And so she continued to run as fast as her hyper-speed legs could take her across the rooftops of houses, stalls and other various building and structures of sorts.
Eventually she stopped, and scanned her surroundings again. That idiot of a member had to be around here somewhere. He just had to be.
As a last resort of finding and slughtering the boy, the nymph took a sharp intake of breath and focussed herself for what she was about to do; Scream at the top of her lungs.
With a moment of stillness, and a clench of her tightened fists, Larxene finally let loose on all that pent up anger.
"...DEMYX, YOU COMPLETE IDIOT. GET YOUR STUPID MELODIUS ASS OUT HERE NOW."

 

Luxord walked the halls of the castle he been informed about the actions of Larxene. The Gambler hated that women but yet he had to respect her cause she did have buety and she got the job done. Luxord was in his own little world when Saix talked to him normally he would show his formalities but sadly he did not. The gambler of fate made an portal then enterd it he appeard beside Xigbar when he steped out of the void. Luxord could tell his superior was mad so he waited patiently and respectfully for the others to speak.

Xeol was in his room on the balcony he thought about the progress of his first mission wondering if he did an good job. "i probolly messed up somewhere" the fog wielder said to himself as he looked ahead. Xeol noticed that everyone was not in the castle he was not informed so he simply did not bother. The fog wielder exited out of his room then continued taking an walk in the halls to use some time he had so he would not be bored.

 

The earth shook beneath the Masochist's feet. He looked around, hearing ocean waves. Standing up, he looked to the sky, eyes widening if mechanical shock.

"Impossible."

He couldn't believe it, blue on blue, Liquid serpents. Before he could think any further, the twisted force of nature came down upon him. The force alone knocked what ever sense he had left. Blurred by the water and numbed by the cold, he watched as the brunette's body was washed away, claimed by the murky depths.
Numb and alone, not feeling a tinge of pain as the air fought free of his lungs. He didn't want to die, not like this, not in this hell. Pulled by the currents, he closed his eyes, washed about hollow bastion, tasting the oblivion he had feared.

 

Xigbar noticed Luxord and he gave him a wave. "Hey you've been gone a long time. Where is Xeol?" He asked and then remembered he neeed to speak to Xemnas. "Well as you know Superior a lot has happened right under your nose without you knowing. Instead of me telling you why don't we go for a trip to Hollow Bastion and you can see for yourself. I'll provide details if you have any questions." He glanced at Luxord and Saix. "You two can come if you want as it also pertains to Axel," Xigbar mentioned the name of the one Saix was more familar with.

Cloud rested on the roof hoping Leon was hot on his trail and he looked down below only to see the body of the brunette, Aerith float through the current. "No! We have to save her remains!" He shouted to Leon. While waiting for a response, he stood still and heard the echo of Larxene's voice almost knocking him off where he was. "Geez she is loud even when she is not present."

Demyx's chuckling stopped and he gasped now hearing Larxene's bellowing voice ring true throughout the valleys. "Oh great," he thought, but stood his ground for he still had the wave and would not release his hold on it until the time was right.

 

Not even responding, Xemnas opened a portal straight for hollow bastion. He face was completely blank, this was the closest indication he had to being blinded with rage. Something was happining, something big. What's worse, it was ruining his plans.

"All of you, hollow bastion, now."

Fast paced, the Superior power walked through his portal.

 

Luxord gave Xigbar an smirk then he waited for the free shooter to finish talking. After Xigbar got done talking he decided to speak "ah dear free shooter Xeol is most likely making his presence in the halls roaming around to avoid boredum" The Gambler of Fate said to the man. "also with Axel's name being mentioned in a matter like this i presume he did something yet again to damage our fine organization so dear free shooter ill take the journey with you" Luxord said to the man. The Gambler did not trust a group of people that made their stain in their organization but he would keep his mouth shut cause he realy did not feel like getting in a fight cause that would be childish to do so. Then he walked into the fresh portal his superior mad looking foreward to see how was messing up the organization that meant his futur.


Xeol made an portal then steped through appearing at the dark city. The fog wielder looked at the neon lights he always wonderd how light can still show in a place filled with darkness. After a few minuts he finally arrived at Memory Sky scraper he remembered the time he got created it was an while ago but the memory was still fresh. Xeol had an smile on his face but it turned into an sad frown he always wore an smile infront of people in truth he felt dead inside.

 

Xigbar nodded agreeing with the gambler of fate and watched Xemnas head directly into the void. He could tell the boss had some inner rage by the way he walked and ordered the rest of them to follow so it was best not to infuriate the top one anymore. "As you wish. Come on let's go," he took lightly to the situation and followed afterwards. Upon arriving, Xigbar saw where he was at and looked to the city to see it flooding. Laughing with mirth, he tried to make the situation light once more. "Woah look at that. That's gonna cause some true damage." He awaited for Xemnas's exit and felt sorry for the melodious nocturne to have to face the boss.

Demyx was stunned to be looking at the senior member and hear his reactions. Still holding up the wave with the tempo, he let it remain where it was only puzzled by how the freeshooter had found him in the first place. "Huh? But how?"

 

Xemnas exited his portal infront of the nocturne, his chest bumped against his smooth face.

"Demyx..." Xemnas began, his fists curled

"What...have...you...done?"

 

Leon kept his distance as he watched the body drift off as well. "I know, but Cloud, we have to save the other people and have them evaculate," He replied as he followed suit, but where would they find any boats? There was no pier down in this direction. He raised his head up as well as he heard a shrieking voice as well. "Yeah I know what you mean," he replied.

Roxas nodded towards Xion and was surprised that Axel and Demyx would do such a thing. It didn't make sense, to him. Axel was a fire wielder and he couldn't do anything with the use of water. He wasn't an mischief maker by heart, but at times the flurry could be immature. "Okay let's go find them," He waited for Xion.


Saix was about to repeat his question when he saw that Xigbar had approached Xemans as well. He felt really bad for the superior that he had to deal with all of this horse play. He listened to the conversation and seem outspoken when the one eyed pony tailed nobody was leading Xenmas around. "Xigbar, the boss doesn't have time to watch over the children of the organization," Saix dubbed the two young nobodies. He saw them that way. The youngest nobody Roxas he had no idea about, but already guessed him a traitor. "However, if you think you have evidence then I guess you will have our best interests." A cold ruthless reply spewed from his lips, as he followed them into a portal, but upon seeing the horrible sight left him speechless as he noticed Xenmas's fists clenched and remained quiet. He only shook his head though wondering what Luxord thought of this change of events.


Axel eyes nearly popped out of his socket when he noticed the raging waters and currents seem to be flooding the town of Hallow Bastion. All thanks to the idiotic methods of Demyx. Sadly Axel had lost sight of Elena because of the water and earlier the interference with Xigbar. Shaking his head in disbelief and aggravation and glaring out coldy in the distant the flurry had remained on the roof tops as the safetly from the water. He only wished that he could stop it. Afte thinking with a short period of time he snapped his fingers as an idea had struck his head. Concentrating with his powers the flurry's chakrams were brought forward sparked up and then zipped off in mid air towards an destination and begun to dung into the ground rapidly as it rushed past the flooding water and began shifting through the dry ground which had not hit the water yet. It created a huge hole where the flurry knew that the water would hit and then it would disappear into the earth and the end up in the magma on the bottom. This was the only way to save this town. He could coat the place with fire, and heat but it would cause more destruction, and there was too much water to begin with so instead he portalled himself into the resturant in search of Larxene. He had already felt the presence of the other nobodies and wanted to get away from them, because they would blame him on this. After all Axel was supposed to be keeping an eye on Demyx."Demyx is such an stupid idiot that can't do nothing right," he muttered. He didn't know that the lightning nobody was already in pursuit of Demyx.

 

Luxord took an look at the scene it was flooded but the only water wielder that could cause the mess was Demyx. An smirk appeard on his face "well well the little joker made an grand presentation of his shy furry" the gambler said to Xigbar. Then he let his eyes focus on the scene that would happen between the Nocturne and the superior. Luxord looked again examining the chaos he knew such an flashy action would always be fallowed by hurtfull reactions. Then he turned his attention to Saix and shook his head in disappointment "actions like this is an disgrace to the organization noble name" Luxord said to the Luner Diviner and The Free Shooter.

 

Xigbar could only contain himself from seizing the young member himself, but that was what the Superior had in mind. Edging closer, the one eyed nobody loomed along the side lines, wondering how the musician would get out of this mess. "Oh boy, he's good as dead if he doesn't have a good explanation for all of this." He told Luxord.

Demyx leaned back, cringing as the Superior was right against his face making him nearly wet his pants. He was scared, and afraid for his life and also embarrased for the other members such as Xigbar, Luxord and Saix were watching this. Finally his mind got over the sudden verge to run knowing he would be hunted down. Stepping backwards, the wave almost crashed for his nerves were whacked out from the fear in his eyes. "Proving my worth to the organization boss." His eyes were only on him and if he had a heart it would be beating really fast and hard.

Cloud nodded relunctly for he had wanted to leap to his doom into the water and save her body, but the citizens came first. From his viewpoint he saw the fire wielder and thought that he was hear to burn the people alive that were running towards him. "Watch out!" He yelled as some of them didn't watch where they were going and fell in the pit below to their doom where some of the water was going. Other people had scattered like rats escaping and heading towards higher ground not realizing what would come of them when they reached the hills and ridge.

 

Xemnas sweeped his arm across the soaked carnage, not taking his eyes of the boy for a moment.

" This is your worth? to obliterate everything, to make the whole world know of our existance? To have them consider us a threat? Let us not even mention how much of a bother it will be to now salvage and harvest the ones we need."

 

"Not exactly. If you will just hear me out, you'll know why I did this. I had a reason to flood the town." He stepped back some more, and bit the inside of his lower lip hoping that Xemnas wouldn't strike him where he stood. "Axel and I were after this woman who belongs to this group known as the Turks. Cloud knows a lot about them which is how I know, so anyway she stupidly leaped into the sewer to try to get away from us and I decided to use my power hoping to drown her. This woman along with the Turks could pose a huge threat to us boss as she is aligned with another known as Reno who is trying to turn Larxene aganist us and he is influencing her with thoughts of who knows what and I don't want that to happen. Reno was also talking to Axel so in a nutshell this Reno guy poses a huge threat to our goal if he tries to turn members of the organization against us. I was trying to get rid of that woman so there would be one less nusiance to you." He sighed and shook his head. "I was only trying to help the organization is all," he looked down at the ground ashamed of himself. "I was trying to be ruthless and cunning like all of you and know that there is a reason why I am part of the organization and not a mistake."

Xigbar stood tall and he nodded in approval of what the boss had said and then Demyx's explanation did make sense. At least the younger one was trying to hold his own and be destrucitve like they were. He didn't do it because he was bored, he had a reason behind his actions so the senior member acknowledged Demyx with a call. "Raise your head. Do not be ashamed. I say we misjudged you, but it is the boss's decision of what he thinks and what will happen."

 

Xemnas continued to glare at the water mage, not impressed.

"If that is the case, we could easily have done private assasinations. Now these, turkeys, are now forced to mobilized. We could have avoided them all together, and reclaimed our hearts if we had stuck to procedure.
On your other note, I don't care about Larxene, no...Larene. There would be casualties. This just makes it for one less for the rebirth. Do I make myself clear Demyx?

 

Demyx stomped his foot and gripped his fists at his side. "No one had told me of any procedure so I took matters into my own hands. There is nothing wrong with that." Demyx was hurt for the boss wasn't going to reason with him. He now stretched his arms out in front of him. "How was I supposed to know what you have planned? No one in this organization ever tells me anything and it's not fair." He moaned and looked away, attempting to be strong and not break down. "Besides," he sniffed and cleared his throat, "My flood will cause lots of destruction and deaths which means Sora will be busy where ever he is when he learns of this and that means more hearts for our goal. Isn't that what you wanted?" He had the nerve to stare at the boss. "Axel had the idea to go after the stupid woman in the first place and I just followed to help him. I didn't want to stand around and do nothing after all."

Xigbar drew closer to Demyx and waved a finger at him. "Careful young one. You explained and the boss will take that into consideration."

"But I'm not done yet. There is other stuff I need to say to clear my name." Demyx protested, his quivering eyes like that of a young child being shown directly upon the freeshooter. He heard what Xemnas said about Larxene this exactly what he was trying to avoid by warning her.

"Calm down kid. Let's see what the boss has to say now?" He raised his voice, but in a comforting relaxed state so the musician would understand.

 

"I've needed to crush his skull for the destruction he has caused in twilight town aswell Demyx. The procedure was follow my orders. Any questions or doubts were to be brought up with me. You knew this. The keyblade wielder is dismissable, he is no concern of ours. His head has not been raised for quite some time now."

Taking a step forward, The superior placed his heavy hand on the mage's young shoulder.

"Do you understand?"

 

Demyx nodded after he let the boss finish his words. The weight upon his shoulder was giving him some ease, but the tension was still there. "I forgot and was only thinking of trying to be useful. And that brings me to my next subject." He swallowed and prepared himself for what would come next out of his mouth. "Boss, I have something else to say. I... I... I..."

Xigbar crossed his arms annoyed with the hestiantation. "Out with it already."

" I got a job," he admitted and began to break down.

"You what? Demyx you know that is forbidden."

"I didn't know that? I was just trying to find a way to pay back Cloud and Leon for the contract that the boss agreed on and I to help," he bit his tongue refusing to say anything more.

"No I know what you were going to say. You wanted to help Xion and Roxas with their unborn baby by providing them with munny." He glanced at Demyx whose mouth dropped open. "Yeah I know a lot of things. I'm a easedropper remember?" He tapped his foot.

"I can explain." He was not going to cry, but felt he would pass out any second. "This baby could help us in the future and plus with the whole job thing, while I'm wowing people over with my impressive musical talant and skills, you guys can easily ambush the unsuspecting prey right? They will be distracted and won't know what struck them. "So my intentions were always for the organization and our goal, but my biggest mistake was not discussing it with you boss and that I'm sorry for."
