A Knights Tale

"i was born to protect the royal family and that includes you, and if i didnt allow you to break some rules i would be my father.... and trust me, neither of us want that" he laughed, he was starting to feel more comfortable with not always being a biskmatar... just a normal person. he spun her again and kept dancing. he looked over and saw Yenzo and Fortune walking in.

 

yume glanced over at sir twem's father.
"yes...i remember the way he took charge, it was rather frightful just to ask for an escort to town."
she giggled a little and did another spin.
"that peasant girl really does look good in my dress."
yume sighed as she looked at her brother and fortune.

 

Eva grinned. "That's why we need you to pretend you're sick. I"ll take you to your rooms, and we'll leave then. If you still want to."

 

"you seem like you know her from somewhere, were you friends previously?" he asked looking at Fortune

 

"Hmm...sounds like a plan to me." said Felix looking at Eva, the pain in his leg was draining th color from his face, makeing him pale..

 

yume laughed.
"absolutely not. i just met her this morning when i was trying to get back to the castle from the camp. she was rather rude to me."
she looked at fortune and laughed some more.
"i didn't want her to know who i was so i had a ripped peice of fabric wrapped around the lower part of my face and i made up a name. i need directions to the castle. she was really no help at all."

 

"makes sense because i found a piece of material from a dress when i was looking for you, it was probably yours" he said laughing

 

Eva put one of his arms around her shoulder, smiling slightly as she helped him up and made for the exit. "I see to have many talents. He's sick. I'm taking him to his rooms." she told the guard, going down the hall.

 

yume looked at sir twem suprised.
"the peice you found probably was mine, i lost a peice of fabric, but the one you found wasn't the one i was wearing when i met her because that peice is sitting in my room."
she looked down a little embarrassed.
"i was getting hot in my dress so i pulled out one of my daggers when i was sitting at that camp and cut off a few chunks to lighten it. my poor gown."

 

"well i think you look a lot better in this dress though" he said smiling, but his smiled faded when he saw his father walking towards him "oh no.... here he comes...." he said nervously

 

occ: recap? i remember guards taking Hoshi to her room with a broken arm but i don't know where to head.

 

Felix acted sick, hopeing the plan would work. he then spoted his dad come toard the gaurd near the door. "Hurry...my dad is comeing." whispered Felix.

 

OOC: the people are at the party, Llednar is with Yume, Fortune is with Yenzo, and Eva is taking Felix to his room

 

{ooc: get changed and then go to the ball room.}

"i like this dress better too. it's not torn up, cut, or covered in dirt."
yume's eyes shifted over to sir twem's father.
"just relax and you'll be fine."

 

Seto sat in his bed. He let out a big sigh. What's going on? Phenox is a wreck, Yume's gone, I'm sitting here thinking my life away. "What an I suposed to do?!" Seto yelled out loud.

 

occ: okay thanks.
Hoshi sighed then got up and walked up to her closet and got out a blue dress she had had but never wore and put it on and sighed as she looked down at her broken arm. "Obviously they won't care if i have a date or not but the arm might freak dad out..more." she said as she walked out of the room and started walking down the hallway towards the ballroom.

 

Llednar took a deep breath "i wont drag you into this, will you excuse me" he took his hands off Yume's back and walked towards his father and bowed "hello Judgemaster" he said as he bowed
Judgemaster Cid looked at him "i may be judgemaster, but you do not leave a date alone, especially when your date is of the royal family" he said in a quiet angry voice
"im..im sorry father, i will not make that mistake again"
"and if you do? what shall i do then? forgive you and say the royal family will forgive you? your mother might have, but not me!" he said angrily
"yes judgemaster" he said quietly
"now dont leave her all alone to watch her body guard be scolded... go on, go!" he said
Llednar walked back "i...im sorry you had to hear that...." he said as he resumed dancing with Yume

 

"I'm thinking it would be time to dance now," proposed Fortune. Fortune decided to start to lead the way to the floor with Yenzo in hand.

 

yume looked at sir twem with sadness in her eyes.
"it's all right."
she glanced over at judgemaster cid with anger in her eyes.
"i would always forgive you sir twem and it really wasn't that large of a problem. i could have always found another person to dance with until you came back. your father is just..."
yume thought for a moment trying to figure out the right word.
after doing another spin she finished her sentence.
"a crab."
yume laughed a little and then looked sir twem in the eyes.
"really, don't worry about it."

 

Eva pulled him around the corner and into the room she had changed in, closing the door behind her. "Quick. Can you get to the stables from here?"
