A Knights Tale

Phenox raised an eyebrow in surprise. "wow Seto, you've been kissed by a princess." Phenox playfully nudged him.

 

yume exited the tent, blushing a little as she heard phenox's comment.
it's really not that big of a deal...
she sighed and headed towards the trees.
oh no!
yume caught sight of sir twem and hurried off in the other direction.
i can't let him find me. he'll attack the katano if he sees me here.
she headed off towards the stream to follow it home.

 

Fortune walked slowly to town reflecting on her life.

I never writ, nor no man ever loved. "she quotes thinking aloud to herself. Maybe it doesn't matter if he's the prince, just perhaps. Fortune finally sees the shops of towns and runs to her favorite one, the one with strawberries.

 

{ooc: 4 sum1 that's a total airhead...fortune seemed to remember juliets words fairly well. ha! now two romeo and juliet references are in here. lol}

yume kept walking the stream until she felt she was far enough away from sir twem to enter the trees again.
maybe i can get to the castle quicker by entering town.
when she finally saw town ahead, yume noticed a peasent girl as well.
she looked at her clothes and realized that it would be fairly hard to tell it was her, but she thought it would be best to cover her face.
yume pulled out one of her daggers and cut a long strip off the bottom of her dress, making it very short and wrapped it around the lower part of her face.
"uh-um...excuse me..."
yume cleared her throat and tried to sound a little differently then usual.
"miss.."

 

(ooc: excuse me but it isn't from Romeo and Juliet.. it was just Shakespeare in general, thank you)

"Hm?" fortune turns to find a girl, about the same age as her, standing by her.

 

yume cleared her throat again.
"uh-um...my name is y-...yulla, and i was wondering if you could point me in the direction of the castle."

 

"Hm, castle, castle, castle, castle," Fortune taps her chin with her index finger to help her think while saying this. "I think it's that way." She points south. "No, that way." She points due north. "Ya know I've never actually tried to find my way to the castle. I would just walk around until you see a big towering building like castle thing and then head twards that. Why are you going to the castle anyway??" she curiously questions this random girl. Wht kind of stupid name is Yulla?

"m-my business you ask? i was asked to...to be the new maid for princess yume. oh, i here she's just wonderful."
yume looked upwards with a praising look upon her face.
"...uh-ah...but anyways, i live out in a cabin on the outside of town, and i had forgotten how to get to the castle. i was a bit lost you see. then i just happened to see you walking so i thought i might ask where it is. thank you very much for your assistance."
she smiled at the girl.
this girl is so clueless. i can't believe i actually asked her how to get to my home. what an idiot.

 

ooc: hey fortune is actually an old English name back then thank you...

"No troubles, but you might have some. You do know the princess has been missing for some time? Why would they ask for you if she's not even there?" she replies. Thank you for your assistance. Fortune mocks the girl in her head. Who does she think she is? The princess, don't talk down to me. I'm not the one who's lost.

 

yume looked at the girl confused but hid it under the fabric.
how does she know about my absense? does the entire town know? oh foofie.
"i am fully aware of the princess's disappearance. As for why i am still being asked to work, i am not at liberty to disclose with you. i'll be going now."
i need to get out of here.
yume smirked under the fabric.
with that attitude, she would be PERFECT for yenzo.
she rolled her eyes.

 

"Ok well good luck finding the castle and have fun with your new job," she calls out, putting a fake smile on her face. Ya freak. What crawled up her dress and died? "OO! Yeah I'll take eight," Fortune says handing the vendor some shillings. She pops one of the fresh strawberries in her mouth. God I love strawberris, she thinks as sticky drops of juice run down her lip.

 

Eva smiled, then stood up. She wobbled a little, then held out her hand to him. "Any idea where to start?" she asked, grinning.

 

"thanks"
yume walked towards a different part of town hoping the castle would be in that direction.
pfft...so that's what peasants are really like. now i 'really' would never give up my crown.
after wandering around aimlessly for awhile, yume finally found the castle gates.
i wonder where felix is...
she sighed as she headed towards the back waterway, where seto had taken her out of.

 

Seto leyed on his back in the bed. How can I be so relaxed and stressed at the same time. I hope Yume get's home safely.

 

"not really." said Felix.

 

She smiled. "Doesn't mean we cant get going now." She still held out her hand to him.

yume slipped in the water, causing the fabric to fall from her face and for her to get covered in water.
how on earth did seto get me out of here earlier? i wonder what he's doing right now...
she tried to block out thoughts of him until she was on her way back to the camp.
must get inside...must find felix...oh how silly! i can't believe i'm really sneaking into MY castle.
yume crawled through the waterway until she finally made it to the garden.
im in!

yume crawled around the garden on her hands and knees until she came to the blue rose bush.
she sighed.
i wonder whatever happened to tybalt.
just then, a small bark came from beside her.
TYBALT!
yume whispered.
"tybalt, have you been hiding here the entire time? you poor thing."

Yenzo was in a tree he picked a flower when he transformed back into his human form. He stared at the flower as he picked the patals off letting them rest in his palm. Yenzo wonderd what Fortune was doing but he looked down at the ground below at his pack that fell asleep. The wind blew he blew into his palm making the flower petals be carried by the wind goin off to where they was fatted to land. Yenzo sighed "parting is such sweat surrow but your name is engraved into my heart not letting me forget about you" Yenzo said as he washed the petals continued being carried by the wind.
