A Knights Tale

Eva rubbed his shoulders gently, smiling slightly. "That's ironic, isn't it?" she murmured. "I'll always be here for you."

 

"yeah..." said Felix, "okay..." Felix smiled slightly.

 

Eva smiled, then closed her eyes, leaning her headon his shoulder. "I'm sorry I'm so tired..." she murmured.

 

"It's okay." said Felix looking at her.

 

She smiled slightly, opening her eyes. "Is there any possible way I could hide you again?" she whispered, slowly falling asleep.

 

"You could if we went to a nother kingdom..." said Felix.

 

Eva looked up at hiim. "We could?" she asked, thinking. She hadn't even thought of this.

Hoshi closed her eyes smiling at the light warmed up her arms that were cut up with scratches. "What a nice day. This would be a day i would be allowed to go outside and play my flute."

 

"Yeah..." said Felix.

 

She tilted her head, thinking the plan through. Obvious flaws, and there were so many ways to get caught. "You would really do that?" she murmured, looking down at the bed. "You would be leaving everything behind, and wouldn't be able to come back."

 

Seto sat on his bed in the tent pondering on tactics and his options. This is becoming increasingly difficult by the second.

 

"I have a doubt about it, and My dad will surely kill me after he finds me...If we did that..." said Felix, "And I would like to get out of this kingdom for awhile, We could even stay here for awhile...but I would have to find a way to change my appearence."

 

Eva smiled slightly. "I have makeup and bandages, but I doubt that's what you mean. If you really wanted to......We can probably find someone who can do it magically."

 

Hoshi sighed and looked around and found a leaf and pressed it up to her lips and started playing the only tune she knew how to play on a leaf and she closed her eyes.

 

yume watched as seto sat down and she went to sit by him.
"seto, can i talk to you about something?"
she grabbed his hands and played with his fingers while she waited for him to respond.
yume was afraid of making eye contact so she just stared down at their hands.
i don't want to go...i don't want to leave him...but i have to speak with felix...
she sighed.

 

"Thats not what I mean..." said Felix, "then lets find someone."

 

Seto was dazed for a moment and then looked over at Yume. "What is it, Yume?" he asked.

 

yume hesitated and continued playing with his fingers before she spoke.
"i think..."
she then looked up to meet his gaze.
"...i think i need to leave for a little bit...and speak with my brother..."
she swallowed the pain she could feel rising in her throat.

 

Seto looked away and smiled. "Go, but I hope I'll see you again."

 

yume was suprised by his response.
"that's it? no dramatic: i can't let you leave me? no nothing? geez."
she sighed and smiled a little.
"i won't be gone long."
yume stood up and then leaned over him wrapping her arms around seto to give him one last hug before she left.
"i promise you i'll be back soon."
to show she really meant it, yume leaned in close and gave him a longing kiss on the lips and then turned to walk out the tent entrance.
