A Knights Tale

Felix ran throught the forest, he endded up out side of the forest where the mountains were. he looked around and the turned back into the woods. He made it in to the middle of the woods. He then saw a big group of people looking at him. He took three steps forward, and they notice that he was the prince, then came after him. Where is hoshi? thought Felix as a man threw the first punch. Felix took out the first six easily, but now it was the seventh one, the strongest, the hardest one. Felix began fighting with the man, the man was almost dead, when he pushed Felix back. felix fell back and endded up twisting his ankle, The man walked over to where felix was and to one swift shot and cut across felix stoumach. Felix grabed his stomach whinceing a bit. Felix glared at thw man. he then therw his sword at the man, strikeing him in the stomach.The man feel down dead and Felix crawled to a tree and propped himself agianst it, His wound was bleeding...alot. Felix whinced as all the pain settled in. He couldn't help but scream.

 

Hoshi was still invisible but she heard Felix scream so she followed the sound of his scream up to a tree and walked over to it and bent down forgetting she was invisible and asked. "Felix are you okay?"

 

Felix whinced trying to sit up he looked around, was cover in blood. "Hoshi....where are you?" said Felix.

 

Hoshi then spoke a little shocked. "Opps. sorry hold on." she said then she touched the tree he was leaning on and turned back from her invisibility. "I told you I could take care of myself. But no one knows enough about me to trust me." she said looking up at the sky then noticing another star pop up in the sky and she pointed to it. "That person didn't get murdered. they died from old age. you can tell cause it's brighter than most new stars." she said then looking back down at Felix. "Im not good with wounds so i hope you are."

 

"I know...I just wanted ot say I'm sorry about earlier." said Felix looking at the sky. "My mothers up there somewhere, I know it." Felix looked at Hoshi, "I'm good with wounds...aslong s their not mine." Felix whinced.

 

Hoshi then looked up and inspected the sky. then she saw a star that was bright next to the moon and next to that was 2 faint stars behind them and she pointed up at the star. "She's right there. you always said she was shy but she loved the moon right? she said then she reached into her pocket and got out a kit and then pulled out a bottle of blue liquid. "I swiped this out of one of the healing rooms in the castle. since I always come prepared. Your not the only one who sneaks out of the castle every now and then. But thanks to you they don't know i'm gone." she said giving him the bottle.

 

"Yep...that is her." said Felix he shut his eyes and smiled slightly. "yeah...I have to go back to the castle later...I have unfinished business to do there and it includes dad, and the throne." Felix garbed the bottle, "do you have anything to wrap the wound up with?"

 

Hoshi reached into her pocket and found a cloth that was clean and handed it to him. "I'm not. the last time I annoyed him like this i.." she wanted to finish the comment but caught herself off guard.

 

"It's okay...I just have to do something to take the throne away from him..." said Felix, he finished fixing his wound, "But I may not come back out of the castle thought..." felix stumbled, and stood up. He hand the bottle back to Hoshi.

 

Hoshi then sighed when she took back the bottle. "Don't say that. He's weak. he will just call the guards to do his dirty work. If you need me to help feel free to ask." she said putting the bottle back into her pocket. "I'm only the youngest by 3 years. And if i counted how many wives he has had and killed and got older by a year for each i would be over 250 years old. He really needs to make up his mind." she said instantly pointing at a star that was in the middle of an area where no stars were around it. "That's my mom right there." she said after a tear dripped down her face. "It's not fair! he kills my mom then makes me blind! even though he didn't do a good job at it." she said wiping the tear off her face.

 

"I'm not goign to kill him I'm going to do something else." said Felix looking up at the stars. "I have a question..." said Felix he looked down at the ground fightinhg back tears, he hated crying in front of people...even if they we're his family.

Hoshi looked over at felix who was attempting to hol back tears. "to him? or to me?"

 

"to you..." said Felix, "Did you see you mom get killed?"

Hoshi looked down in spite of te question and held back tears that were about to drip down her face. "Yes i did, and i was only 2 years old and i remember the whole thing."

 

"Try being five and being the cause of her death..." Felix's voice trailed off.

"th-the scrap! the scrap of fabric from when i cut my dress. oh no! how cud i lose it?"
she sighed and walked over to seto wrapping her arms around him.
"im sorry. please forgive me"
i cant believe i lost it....

 

Eva bit her lip, wincing as she looked away. She made sure she wouldn't cry or anythng, she had gone through worse. "Thank you..Yenzo."

 

Yenzo looked at her he could tell why his brother cared for her. "no problem im always happy to help people" he said to her smiling as he coverd the wound. Yenzo stood up as his fox pack stood beside him "my brother will be coming tell him i got the wound taken care of and i have to go i got someone to see" he said to her as he and his fox pack exited the cabin goin back into the woods.

 

Hoshi looked at Felix wide eyed and nervous. "How did you become the cause of her death?" she said almost shaking as the wind kicked up.

 

"It's all right. Don't worry too much on it. C'mon, we're almost to camp."
