A Knights Tale

yume sighed a little.
as long as he goes back to his men.
"as long as you go back to camp."
she buried her face in his chest again.
"i wish you wouldn't treat me like a princess."
she sighed knowing that was a silly request.

 

"Not as a princess. As someone I truly care about." He walked toward the staircase. "Shall we?"

 

yume smiled.
"lets!"
she hurried over to him and wrapped her arms around his right arm.

 

He looked at her and smiled. He opened the door to the outside. "It's only a short distance back to camp." He walked along the trail with Yume next to him. "So...what's on your mind?"

 

yume looked up at him.
"hm? oh...well i was just thinking about how happy i am right now. i've never really been this happy to be around people before and when i'm around you..."
yume trailed off, not quite sure how to finish her sentence.

 

Yenzo tried to resume his course tracking the scent of his brother again but he just could not concentrat. He sniffed her scent making a foxy smile be place on his face Yenzo looked over at the open window again to see Fortune continue what she was doin. "i gotta introduce myself but i cant in this body but i wonder if she likes foxes" he said to himself as he looked ahead seeing an flower bed. He walked over to the flowers then layed down on his stomach as sunlight shined making his silver fur glisten and shine while he layed being surrounded by beutifull flowers forgetting about being a prince.

 

Seto couldn't stop smiling. "I feel the same. Meeting you has changed my view on many things."

 

yume looked at him with serious eyes.
"do you..."
she paused for a moment.
i have to ask it...
"...still want to die?"

 

Seto's face became blank. "I never wnated to die. But it's inevitable. We all must die. I'ld rather have honorable death than die old."

 

Fortune notices a little critter scurrying past her window. She walks outside to get a better look.Oh it's a cute little fox! She steps slowly forward trying not to crunch the dirt and scare it away...

 

yume looked at him confused.
"you never wanted to die, but u feel you would rather die honorably than living out your life for as long as you can? where's the logic in that? there's nothing honorable about vengence."
yume unwound her arms from his and just held his hand.
while looking off in a different direction, she said: "i don't see why anyone would want to die at the hands of another rather than live out there life happily."
she glanced at him and then off towards nothing in particular.
...i dont want you to die...

 

"It's complicated, I know. But I made a promise. I promised I would not let them die without vengence."

 

yume just looked at him, not wanting to argue anymore.
she sighed.
"...i wonder...what happened to tybalt..."

 

Yenzo looked up to see the girl he was looking at come outside coming towards him. He got a better look of her there was nothing of royalty or richness he smiled cause that is how he liked things. Yenzo saw a white rose he picked up by using his mouth while he slowly walked over to her. He looked at her eyes again he felt sudden joy then he layed the white rose by her feet then looked back up at her.

 

Fortune Giggled and kneeled down to say hi. "Why thank you Mr. Foxy. Careful you could be in big trouble if you mess up someone's flowers." *Scratch* *Scratch* His fur is so soft it's almost like he normally doesn't live outside.

Yenzo ears went back as he was scrashed making him smile as he closed eyes loving the attention he was getting. He nuzzled her check happily feeling something he been wanting for a while love that did not have a price tag on it.

Fortune laughs at herself. "Your the most affectionate creature I know, " she says looking at her newly found best friend. "Your the only one who even acknowledges that I'm around...." Her voice trails off into desolate thoughts of her family. Hm. Maybe if I feed him something he'll come to visit me.

 

Yenzo smiled an foxy smile he felt so warm and happy inside he was glade his brother ran off for once. "yea but people dont see what nature can bring to the fortionate unlike my father i dont see money as a ticket to love" he thought to himself as he looked at her. Yenzo noticed that her voice trailed off he tilted his head sideways concerned. Then he walked past her face while his fluffy fox tail tickled her nose then he sat down looking at her again to see if he made her smile.
