A Knights Tale

Llednar shook his head "nothing miss, but dont worry, if anything does happen ill be sure to let you in on it, while keeping it a secret" he said smiling at her. "but i got reports of strange behavior out in town so i am going to check on it, be safe miss, and dont hesitate to call a guard. thats why we are here" he said walking towards the door to the courtyard and then off the royal estate

 

yume's eyes filled with pain.
"all right"
she turned away from the men and sat down on the bed with her back towards them.
"do you think...nevermind"

 

"okay." said felix he rubbed the back of his head, it hurt badly.

 

Seto turned to look at her. He sat on the bed next to her. "What's wrong, princess." He looked directly at her.

 

"Llednar! come here!" said King James angerily.

 

she looked away not wanting to see the expression he would make when she asked her question.
"i no this is pointless to even ask, me being 'captive' and all, but do you think we could get out of this tent. you know and go for a walk, or something along those lines? its just really hard to deal with all that is going on AND be stuck in here."
yume turned to look at him now with pleading eyes.
"i promise i wont try and run away and it doesnt have to be very long. just a short while?"
a princess isn't supposed to beg, but that's all i've done since i wuz brought here. i am definitely becoming felix.

Lledar ran to him "yes sir?"

 

"Princess Yume has been captured and Felix is no where to be found...and i really need to talk to him." Said King James, "Do you know where they are?"

 

Seto saw the desire in her eyes. He took her by the hand and lifted her up. "Let's go. I know a secret place deep in the forest." Seto lead her out of the tent. His gaurds questioned this move. "Don't worry men. We'll be fine." He guided her down the hill.

yume's eyes light up.
"thank you"
she trailed behind seto as he lead her to the place he had spoke of.

 

Fortune is lost in her thoughts about being lost in her thoughts. I always dreamed to be royalty, but now it looks like they're struggling. The princess is ... gone?!?! Taken? How could a place that seems so safe be so terribly-unsafe. Maybe I hould work hard like Papa says. I don't want to think about it anymore. That's what I'll do, I'll go bury myself in work. Fortune sprints back to her little cottage by the mill to clean the house and do whatever else she's never done before.

 

He lead Yume to a spring in the forest. "I always come here to clear my mind." Seto took off his boots and dunked his feet in the warm spring. "Very relaxing. So what's on your mind, Princess Yume?"

 

yume looked at seto.
"if i cant call you sir, then you have to quit calling princess."
she sighed and took a seat next to him infront of the spring.
"i'm just really confused about everything. it's as if everything i've known has ben riped away. did you no, out of me, my two brothers, and my sister, i'm the only one that has actually tried to live the way royalty should. the other three are rebellious and always get in trouble. i think Hishio gets it from watching her older brothers. four teenagers in a castle, while three are the same age, isnt very good. none of us ever seemed to really get along but i still love them. and mother and father."
yume sighed and slipped off her shoes as well to stick her feet in the water.

 

Seto chuckled. "Ok. Deal, Yume." After he listened to her he replied with saying "Life can be difficult. I always vowed I'ld walk the knight's path. But after being exiled from the castle the only one I protect is myself. I have almost no purpose anymore."

 

she dipped her feet into the water slowly.
"you know, you can still walk a knightly path. you dont have to give up on who you are because you're not allowed to live somewhere. no one is requiring you to change. and you know, you aren't that bad when you try to act like a gentleman instead of a jerk."
yume pulled her feet out of the water and wrapped her arms around her legs.
she turned her head to look at him.
"i'm happy you took me away. i mean i do miss my family, the castle, and even sir twem but, i feel as if coming here has really changed my perspective on things quite a bit."
yume stood up and looked out at the spring.
"i would miss you..."

 

Seto thought about all the things she said. He looked up at her. He smiled and said "Thank you, Yume. Forgive me for all I've done to you. I should not have done this. I shouldn't really even be alive."

 

yume looked down at the man.
"if you feel you shouldnt have taken me, you can always let me go. but never say you shouldnt be alive. there is always at least someone that would miss a person whether they believe so or not. and...if you werent alive...we never would have met...and..."
she couldnt finish her sentence.
yume sat down alongside seto leaving little space between them.
"i thank you too, seto"
she kissed his cheek and then stood up and started walking a little ways into the spring.
since she cut her gown, it wuzn't as wet as it wud have been when she stood in the water at about her midcalf.
i no there's someone who would miss you. so please dont say that anymore.

 

Yenzo got done drinking the sparkling stream water he looked at his image in the water. He is a silver fox he grined cause the fox was not blessed with being better then anyone the way he liked it. Yenzo headed back to the castle then sniffed finding his cloths he left behind. He turned back to normal his body naked he was happy nobody saw him then started getting his cloths back on. Yenzo walked into the castle then headed to the throne room. "father is there any news about my brother Felix" he asked the king he saw Llednar giving him a small wave smilling "why cant i have a normal family" he said to himself sadly as he waited for his father to answer him.

 

"no news...he hasn't even contacted us...he is proable out on an adventure." said James, "he was to meet his fieance to day...but i guess thats not going to happen."
