A Knights Tale Reborn!

Llednar gathered with him a squad on 10 biskmatars, including Luso, and himself they were all ordered to retrieve their weapons and armor and walked outside the main gate

 

Nox watched the soldiers go by. He made his way towards the castle. He wonderd if he'd be stoped at the gates or they'd just let him through.

 

OOC: they didnt leave yet they are standing outside the gates waiting for further orders

BIC:Llednar walked towards the unknown men "stop right there, what business do you have with the Tenturus family?"

 

"Business is exacly the correct word," Nox said, "I heard you have a rather large security problem a princess, not to long ago, was kidnaped in broud daylight at this castle. I thought you could use some help."

 

"yes, i am head of the guards Llednar Twem, if you have an issue regarding security it is told to me directly, speak your proposition,"

the other soldiers drew their blades in case of an ambush, or an attack

 

"Well Mr.Twem I'm not going to lie I don't like the swords being out. Tell them to put em away and we can talk," Nox said his right hand resting on his leg.

 

he looked at seto "ill be blunt, if you desire my services then as long as you pay me i have no qualms doing as you desire within a few limits."

 

"sir twem to you, and i am sorry but until i trust you, they will do no such thing. speak your position and i will evaluate it from here, since i am in charge of the guards, all militaristic decisions are given to me and me alone, so until then, no, the swords will remain drawn. prove we can trust you and you will be allowed open passage" Llednar said

 

"To be frank you have the some of the worse defenices I've seen in a long time," Nox said he griped his wand now a bit nervous with open swords, "that and it doesn't seem like your very good at protecting the royals."

 

"I know everyone in Benervia, you are a foreigner, i dont trust you as far as i could throw you, and frankly dont care what you think of our defenses, i along with the other biskmatars are the elite fighting force of this castle, the normal knights stay inside the castle, believe me, you wouldnt stand a chance getting in, so dont give me your high and mighty talk foreigner, speak your business" Llednar's patience was growing thin

 

"I thought I just told you so I'm going to make it simple," Nox began to speak slowly, "You guy are imcopendent. I'm not pay me to portect a royal and to build up a defence thats actualy good."

 

Llednar broke out laughing, he wiped a tear from his eye and composed himself "i wont kill you on the spot foreigner, but if you had been a local and said that, i would have had the archers put you down by now, i can see by your pet's toy there that you like unconventional weaponry, thats all fine with me, but i have run this army for a few years now, still no one has penetrated the castle... you know why? because despite how you think of us, we are skilled, these men behind me are the best i have, and if you would like i could demonstrate, so about your offer, would you care to reword it?"

 

"No I don't intend reword it. A princess was kidnaped from the castle in the middle of the day. Face it your ssecurity is horriable," Nox said with a smirk, "and your not open to any new ideas or are you just that densce."

 

"i am truly not in the mood, for the record, it was the night of a ball, and she had stepped outside, she came back and left again on her own accord, and to be honest, how the hell do you know that?" he was growing suspicious

 

"People talk to other people and they to talk to others," Nox said, "did you realy think no one knew. Other contries know about your discrace. I'm just surpized that you haven't been executed or at least fired for all your mistakes."

 

Llednar walked up to Nox, "i think ive about had it," he and all of his other troops had their blades drawn "i think ill make an example of you if you dont show some damn respect, we are the only castle in the land within a few hundred acres, i think that if you will show such slandering, ill send you home, in a few more pieces than what you came with" he gripped his sword tightly, his knuckles were white,

 

"Awww the little knight is mad at me. Can't take the insults he rightfully diserves," Nox mocked. His left hand reached into a pouch on his left side.

 

"hes got a weapon! shields up!" all the soldiers raised their shields. they encircled the man, "you should be warned, i will not let word of this reach the king, the assassins will not be so cordial towards you" Llednar said from behind the shield

 

Nox took out some white grains and looked at Llednar like he had a large bug on his face, "your afraid of salt?"

 

"i know your type foreigner, i have had good men blinded by powder weapons, im not falling for it again, they kept their position, shields up and surrounding Nox
