A Knights Tale Reborn!

"I'm not having much luck today am I," Nox asked retoricaly. Nox brushed Yume when he walked into the room. He touched her with one of his charms this one in paticular would allow him to liston to the girls thoughts for a short period of time. Nox was sure she wouldn't notice as he snuck the charm back in his poket.

 

"i suppose not. although, this rather upsets me because i very much so needed to speak with master sid as well."
yume turned to look at him.
"what did you just do?"

 

Nox looked at Yume. He pulled up his left arm to show her his charm brace. It was clamped to his lower arm; it had several wooden charms on it that did lots of diffrent things.
'I'm invocing a charm,' Nox touched one oh his charms and it glowed a very blue violet, 'it lets me know if I'm in danger.'

 

yume studied him suspiciously.
i really don't believe that...
"what danger would you have? tis just you and i here."

 

"I've thought that before and have been proven wrong," Nox said. He lowered his arm after looking at his charm.

 

yume crossed her arms in front of her chest.
"if thou says so."
she turned to walk out of the thrown room.
"i'm going back to my room now. do as you want."
yume walked down the long corridor to her chamber.

 

Nox noded and looked around the thrown room. As usaly it was the largest room in the castle.

 

when yume entered her room she lied down on top of the fluffy comforter.
she stared up at the canopy above her bed with her hands clasped together on her forehead.
yume sighed.
this is quite a predicament. i need to stop all of this fighting. it has been going on for far to long and no one should have to endure it. it doesn't even matter whose fault it is. it just needs to end.
she rolled over, shoving her face in the pillow.
i need to see seto, but i know that the only way this will work is if i don't see or speak to him until that very moment in time. it can only end like that. i don't think i could go through with my plan if i were to see him before then. it would just become far too hard.

 

Nox listioned to the girls thoughts. She couldn't hear his but he could hear hers. So she's working with Seto. She must fancy the man trying to kill her father. Ironic actualy... no I take that back just a strange cercumstance.

 

Seto walked into town and drew closer to the castle. Soon, Yume. Soon I'll end this. Seto took in a deep breath. I'm not going down without a fight. I'm not going to sit back any more. I'll never be rid of my shame, but I'll always hold my honor. What is shame to me?

 

Hoshi sighed as Yume and Nox left the room, "Yeah nice talking to you!" She yelled but not a loud yell. She sighed and went to her room and looked out the window.

 

hoshi i heard you!
yume rubbed her temples.
she didn't need to yell so loud from the other room. anyways, did you give him my message?
she started pacing in her room.
yume started thinking to no one inparticular.
i have this strange feeling right now...i don't know how to describe it. i really don't trust that nox fellow. i don't believe his story about a defense spell or whatever it was...

 

Hoshi had her mind closed out so she didnt hear Yume complain.

 

Nox sighed he never really liked using this charm in the first place but having to listion to this one go on and on, well it didn't make things any better.

 

yume plopped down on her bed aggrivated.
i just want everyone to be happy. everyone's happiness and safety are the only things that i'm asking for. i wish my brothers were here. they got lucky and ran away with the women they loved so they no longer have to go through with all of this. it's just me and hoshi now. there's no way she could deal with all of this on her own once i'm gone. i hate to leave her like that...i hate to leave anyone like that, but i feel it's the only way to stop everything. no more fighting, no more silly wars, no nothing. it'll all be over....
she started to cry.

 

Nox sighed. Had it not occured to the girl the only way to keep this all from happening was to kill Seto and be done with it?

 

{ooc:} i'm sorry to anyone that may think this post is god-modding, but it's not because yume is having a dream. anything in the centered section is not really happening so please try to ignore it. thanks ^_^

yume sobbed in her pillow.
her make-up stained the pillow covers and she ended up crying herself to sleep.

i'm...at the camp?? she peaked around a tree and saw the captain's tent ahead of her, there was movement inside. SETO!
yume ran to the tent and flipped open the large tent door to see the man she was falling in love with.
"seto!"
he turned and smiled at her, as she stepped towards him he became her father.
"i should have known you would do something like this, i mean you are your mother's daughter after all."
"no! i didn't do anything! i swear papa, i swear!"
"that's your magesty to you."
he swung his hand at her face. as the king was about to hit her the scene changed.
"wh-what...??"
yume looked around and saw that she was now standing in the royal garden, her one happy place within the castle walls. tibalt came bounding towards her with excitement. in one of his leaps he froze in the air, caught by sir twem.
"sir twem, would you please put tybalt down?"
he set down the puppy and then walked toward her placing his hand on her cheek..
"why would you do this to me? you know how i feel about you lady yume."
yume sighed and a tear rolled down her cheek as she looked at the man in front of her.
"i'm sorry sir twem, your just...your just" she swallowed down a lump in her throat that was building up, "your just not the one i love. i'm sorry. if there were different circumstances this would be different, but i met someone else and...and i just don't have those feelings about you anymore."
"i'm sorry it had to be this way..."
he released his hand from her face and grabbed his sword.
"if you want to be with that mongrol so bad, you should have the same fate that he will have."
sir twem thrusted it towards her.​

yume woke up right before the sword would have pierced her abdomin.
she bolted upright and grabbed her forehead.
that was...that was scary...i don't know if i can go through with this, but i have too.

 

Hoshi leaned her chin against the window after a while and sighed, "This would all be a lot easier if they all just came to some agreement.. sure.. dad's killed his share of people.. but so has a solder at war.. they do what they think is right, and when that solder becomes a war hero, people tend to look up upon him, or frown. That's just life.. and this whole thing is just stupid..." She then closed her eyes as she spoke to herself again, "Even if dad died.. or if Seto died.. this whole thing would probably still go on, everyone has their friends to stick up for their loved ones..."

 

yume walked into her bathroom and cleaned her face off in the sink.
she then redid her make up and stepped outside of the room.
it's time for some fresh air...
yume sighed and then walked out to the garden.

 

Hoshi eventually opened her eyes again and fell back onto the ground, for some reason, She just went through a Charlie horse.
