A Knights Tale Reborn!

Llednar decided he had waited long enough for her and walked towards the Kanato camp, his blade drawn he cut away branches from his path, and out of anger, cut a tree down entirely with one hard swing, he knew his blood was boiling and would kill that Kanato if he had done anything to Yume

 

yume jumped as she heard a thud from a tree falling.
"wh-who's there?!"
she stood there frozen in the water.

 

Llednar thought he heard a voice "who is there! show yourself!" he said in an angry bloodthirsty tone, he lusted for battle

 

"s-sir twem...is that you?"
yume slowly walked out of the water scared.

 

Llednar's angry face lightened "Yume... is that you?" he said walking towards her

 

Nox was getting sick of looking for one personin the god damn castle. Where the is this guy you'd think he'd want to talk to me about the fricken list but no he's no where to be seen.

 

yume let out a great sigh of relief.
"sir twem thank heavens its you. i'm not sure if i could handle anymore excitement tonight."
she walked over to greet him.

 

Llednar had a half hearted smile on his face "what of that traitor.... is he with you?" he asked her

 

yume glowered at him.
"no sir twem. he is not."
she spoke very stearnly.
"seto is at his camp, where he belongs. he will not be near the castle any time soon either. and you have no need for worries over me. i will not be returning."
yume sighed as she turned to head for the castle.
"i think everyone is to be expecting us back sir twem. you know how your men start to get restless when you are gone for too long."

 

"you will not be returning?" he questioned her "what makes you think you can just..... leave when ever you please, especially with that dog!..... what do you see in him!" he was growing angrier but a small tear was forming in the corner of his eye

 

"SIR TWEM!"
yume sighed.
"i understand this upsets you, but you must calm down. i ment i will not be returning to the camp. i beg of you to take back what you said. i know it was only stated because you thought opposite of me."
she walked up to him and pressed her palm on his face, wiping away the forming tear.
"shall we return together?"
why does everything have to be so difficult. if it wasn't for seto, i would probably still be madly in love with sir twem. everything has become far more complicated. i wonder how much more pain i will feel in the end...the end. that's coming a lot closer than i wish it would.

 

Llednar felt his feelings for Yume still in his heart.... he knew he was cold, but he couldnt remain stone faced, "you mean you didnt mean...." he caught himself in the foolishness of his action "im sorry Princess, when you said you werent returning..... i had assumed you meant returning home, to the castle, not returning to the camp..... i am a fool not to see that" he looked at her again. "im sorry, i mean not what i said... i just... didnt know how to respond" he said to her, still nervous about if he had just blown away his chances of ever becoming more than just 'the body guard', in his heart he loved her, but he knew that he may had just blown his chance

 

yume removed her hand from his cheek and stared down at her feet.
"sir twem, i have obligations as a princess. i could never just run away for good. my duty is the castle and that is what i shall do. i understand that you misunderstood and i forgive you. please do not speak ill of seto though, he is as good a man as any. the two of you have more in common than you think. please don't be rash about my words. you most likely wont understand what i mean by that...and i am okay with it. we should most likely be returning now."
she looked up at him and smiled sheepishly.
"shall we?"
i just want things to end...i don't like having to make choices...it's just too much...

 

Llednar sighed "i guess your right..." he said "i will stay my tongue when i speak of Seto, but as a traitor, and the leader OF those traitors, they are the cause of this war... one of us has to go, be it them or us" he said walking with her

 

yume nodded once, tired of the fighting she didn't argue with him.
she walked in silence for a long while with llednar, eventually speaking when the tall peaks of the castle could be seen.
"sir twem," she sighed,"i'm not ready to go back inside. i'm going to go to the garden."
i wonder if tibalt is there...

 

Seto pondered on his thought. Honor...power...love...revenge. What are these to me? My motives? Or what I want? I will fight for those who have died. I will be a hero and end the king's reign... or die trying.

 

yume drifted away from sir twem and into the royal garden.
the blue rose bushes had never appeared so inviting to her.
as yume sat down on a bench admiring all the gorgeous flowers, a small puppy appeared by her feet.
"tybalt! you are still here! oh thank heavens."
yume picked up the puppy and held him tightly in her arms.

 

Llednar left her alone in the garden, he couldnt stand all this...

 

yume sat on the ground petting tybalt.
"what am i going to do tybalt? things are just so wrong."
she sighed and picked him up to walk away.

 

Llednar could feel the emotions the others had towards him, Luso hated him, Yume probably would have never come back if it wasnt for him forcing her to... he sat on a rock with his face in his hands... he wondered what he could do to make this right
