A Knights Tale Reborn!

yume suddenly stopped and slowly turned her head to face luso.
"sir luso, do you realize how much trouble you could get into, just by saying that in front of sir twem?"
she looked back at seto and continued to heal him.
yume spoke in a very serious monotone voice.
"sir twem, you may be excused."

 

Seto's mind drifted. Is this the end? No. I'm not done in this world yet. Seto slightly awoke but was drained of strength.

 

"i dont care, he may be stone cold from serving his life in this army but i am not, if he sees it needed to disband me or have me killed so be it, but that can wait till after your friend is healed"

"sorry Princess Yume, under orders of your father I am to accompany you, not even under your orders am i do leave" Llednar said

 

"sir twem, you can acompany me by standing outside. and as far as i can tell, you have not done a very good job accompanying me thus far."
the light disappeared inside seto's body, so yume removed her hands from above him.
she whispered slightly.
"seto...are you with me?"

 

Seto looked up a Yume. "You didn't think I'ld go so easy, did ya? I can't move. Temporary paralization."

 

Luso looked at the wounds on Seto, and then stood up, he realized it was an enemy of his but he respected Yume's wishes, he kept his book out in case his magic was needed

Llednar drew his blade and was silent, staring at Seto, his knuckles turned white with how tight he was gripping his large sword

 

Hoshi yawned as she woke up and she realized what was going on, "I probably don't understand any of this.."

 

yume smiled at the sight of seto's revival.
"i'm sure you'll be fine soon."
she turned to look at sir twem.
"can i speak with you?"
yume stood up to walk out of the tent.

 

Nox stoped when he saw a guard, two guards standing infront of a door. This peaked Nox's curosity. He was temted to just walk over and ask but felt he wouldn't get the right answer.

 

yume grabbed Llednars wrist to pull him out the opening of the tent.
"sir twem"
she looked at him sternly.

 

Llednar looked at her "yes?" he said calmly, his blade still in his grasp

 

yume held his hand gently.
"sir twem, i beg of you to calm down."
she looked at him with pleading eyes.
"these men here are actually a lot nicer than you would imagine, but they have no one so they are willing to attack at a moments notice. if you provoke them, i'm not sure what would happen and i couldn't bear the thought of anything happening to you while here. i will return with you if you promise not to fight."
yume looked at sir twem seriously.
seto, i'm sorry i couldn't be of any help...

 

Llednar's stone cold expression started to waver... and he sighed "here, take this" he said pulling a jet black card out of his pocket with glowing red inscriptions on it "use this card and he will be given full life, and new identity to all that see him, he can choose to even become a new person if he wishes, that card is what we are to use to 'rehabilitate' convicts into soldiers, they forget everything and you can write them a new story, chances are that i will be punished for giving that to you or possibly put to death, but as cold as i can be... ive always had feelings towards you so i cannot bear to see you in pain..." he said

 

yume smiled at him gently.
"sir twem, you are a very good man and a great knight. i will make sure no harm comes to you. i promise."
she took the card from him and then wrapped her arms around him.
"thank you very much for all that you have done so far. i hope that you will continue to help me in the future. i know that i am very selfish though, so if you were to refuse i would understand."
yume unwrapped her arms from around sir twem, held his hands, and then stood on her tip-toes to give him a kiss.
"i really am sorry."
she let go and turned to walk towards the tent.
"sir twem, if you will, please return to the castle. i'll be sending luso and hoshi soon afterwards. i promise i will return as well before nightfall."

 

Llednar let go of her and could feel himself melting on the inside, his discipline failing "as you wish Miss Yume" he said as he turned and started walking back to the castle, he slowly treaded through the forest towards the castle he called home.

Luso turned as he saw Yume walking back "Princess Yume, where is Llednar going?"

 

yume entered the tent.
"sir twem is returning to the castle. the same as you and hoshi are to do, sir luso."
she tucked the card into her dress where no one would see it.
"i shall return before nightfall as well, but the two of you are to be dismissed now."

 

Luso sighed "if that is your wish Princess, i shall listen" he walked out of the tent to wait for Hoshi

 

yume nodded.
"thank you."
hoshi, we have much to discuss later when i return. until then, will you go back...or at least find something to do that is away from here?

 

Luso was still suspicious of why Yume had to be alone with Seto....

 

Seto rested. "Well, what am I going to do now? This is an unfortunate turn of events. Oh well, at least I get some much needed rest." Seto sat back.
