A King's Story

"We need to use me as bait to catch Luxor" she sighed.

 

Hikaru nodded. "Lemme guess. Putting Xyam in one of those sexy bunny costumes would do Luxor enough to make him run here?"
Kazune nodded.
"While of course, you could get an eyeful Kazune."
Kazune blinked and went bright red. "ITS NOT FOR ME! ITS FOR BAIT!"

 

Xyam giggled. "Can we just get it over an done with so i never have to see him again please"

 

Hikaru nodded. "Sure. But while i'm doing that...." He passed Kazune a flannel and bowl of water. "Just dampen the flannel and put it on Karou's forehead. He's knocked out completely but be quiet, if he wakes up...." Hikaru gulped. "Lets just say that flannel will be up were the sun don't shine."
Kazune nodded. "Okay then. Tend to Karou and be quiet to protect my man-hood."

 

"Lovely, come on then" she started to walk off.

 

Hikaru walked off in the other direction.

Kazune watched him go then followed after Xyam. "He should be in his room."

 

She nodded and went to karou's room. She silently opened the dorr.

 

Karou lay in bed, his top half exposed. Turning over onto his back, he frowned. Beads of sweat were all over him.
Kazune looked at him. "He's got a fever...." He whispered to Xyam.

 

"Do you think he'll be alright?" she said quietly.

 

Kazune flew over to Karou and hovered above him. Putting his hand on Karou's forehead, he immediatly drew back. "SHIIT! Hot! HOOOOT!" He whispered angrily, holding his burnt hand.
Karou frowned again.

 

"I'm guessing people from the fire kingdom get hotter than everyone else when they're ill" she whispered, watching.

 

Kazune nodded. "But Karou's like..... 80? 90 degrees?" He sighed and then used the water in the bowl to dampen the flannel. Putting it on his forehead, a small sizzle was heard then nothing. "NeverDryWater. Clever...."

 

"What?" she said.

 

"Its water that doesn't evaporate. You can have under EXTREMELY hot conditions and it'll still be as cold as it was before." Kazune smiled, looking at Karou.

 

"Oh" she said.

 

Kazune smiled and flew back to Xyam. Opening the door again, he was about to leave.
"Hikaru.....?"
Kazune froze and looked back at Karou. "No. Its Kazune and Xyam."
"Hikaru...? Answer me.... Please...." A tear went down Karou's face.
Kazune frowned. "I don't think he can hear us...."

 

"We should fetch Hikaru" she said worriedly.

 

"I'll go fetch him. Stay with Karou." Kazune said, running off.

Karou shook his head. "Where are you....? Mom? Dad?"

 

She nodded and went and sat in a chair watching Karou.

 

Karou started to cry. "Please wake up...." He cried out.

Kazune ran along, spotting Hikaru. "HIKARU! KAROU'S ACTING WEIRD!"
Hikaru nodded then ran back to Karou.
