A King's Story

"he didn't try hard enough..." Reese was angry again

 

Kaida understood. "After the idea was shot down, he just decided to forget you and become king. So hating him is all you can do."

 

Reese nodded. "yes."

 

Kaida looked around the room. "I bet these books are so he can just forget you."

 

Reese laughed. "maybe."

 

Kaida smiled. "Do you wanna end your personal tour of the castle now?"

 

Reese smirked. "call everyone to the courtyard."

 

Kaida turned to Reese suprised. "Why?!"

 

"let's let them meet their new king." Reese laughed

 

OOC: Everyone means soldiers, spellcasters and staff I control.

Kaida smiled. "No offence but they'll believe you more if you hold that blade that you conviniently stole from me." Kaida lifted up her dress and pointed to the empty holder.

 

Reese slipped the blade out of his sleeve "i suppose so."

 

Kaida put her dress down again and sighed. "I'm Rei's- was Rei's most trusted person in this castle. If i've been taken down and Rei is dead then it'll be eaisier." Kaida then focused on the minds of everyone in the castle. Come to the courtyard! Rei has an anouncement to make! Soon, Kaida heard the voices of the people outside. She nodded.

 

"before i go... what's the plan?"

 

Kaida smiled. "Grab hold of me and put the blade to my neck. I'll pretend to be scared and struggle a bit, not alot though. Then just annouce whatever."

 

"alright." Reese put the blade to her throat. and walked outside.

 

Kaida winced as the blade dug into her a bit. Looking down she saw servants, cooks, spellcasters, soldiers, everyone. Then Kaida moved her body as if she sruggling.

 

Reese smirked. "hello everyone! its been awhile!"

 

Everyone looked up at Reese's face. "Its Reese!" "Where's Rei?!" "Look at Kaida! Shes been taken down!!!!" Cries of suprise came from the crowd.

Kaida pretended to struggle again. "Its working." She whispered.

 

"you're a wonderful actress." he whispered back. "Rei is dead! bow to your new king!"

 

Kaida went red and struggled again. She made herself cry.

Another shout came up from the crowd. "How did he die then?!"
