A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Alphonse smiled, hugging back. "And if I forget, Heaven help me if I live to see tomorrow thanks to you." He laughed.

Sky watched her go. Frowning, he transmuted the floor back to normal, gathered his stuff into a bag and ran after her. "rRai! Wait up!"

OOC: The Floating Continent is, of course, floating above the rest of the world. But the Kingdoms and the castles (apart from the Air Kingdom which IS in the Sky) are on the ground of the Continent.

"Now about food." Abee grinned.

 

"Yeah, I'm starved" Opal laghed, and held his arm tightly.

 

Kami laughed as well. She smiled at him. "Sorry about how I acted."

Raikou turned around. "What is it?"

"Not helping that you just threw up." Abee smiled, walking out with her.

OOC: Why yay?
BIC:

"It's okay. You had the right to be pissed off." Alphonse smiled, kissing her.

"I wanted to come with you and-" Sky was cut short, seeing Alphonse and Kami kissing. "Ewh.... Dad! That's disgusting!"
Alphonse pulled away, looking at Sky.

 

"True but still" Opal grinned.

Kami turned around and looked at Sky. She blinked, turning a little red.
Senkou poked his head out. "Good morning, mother and father."
"Hi mommy and daddy!" Raikou said right after.
"H-Hello, sweethearts."

 

Alphonse walked over to Sky and picked him up. "You know, when you get older and have a girlfriend, why don't I call it horrid when you two kiss?"
Sky pulled a face. "But girls have cooties!"

Abee smiled back at her.

 

Kami giggled. "Oh my. So I have cooties as well?"

 

"No. Mom doesn't have cooties. Neither does Rei. Or Auntie!" Sky grinned.
Alphonse looked over at Senkou. "Hey, you don't need to be so formal."

 

"You mentioned food?" Opal laughed.

Kaia walked through the town aimlessly, watching all the people go by.

 

Senkou blinked. "I indeed do, father. Princes and Princesses are meant to be formal."
Rainkou poked him. "But you're always so dull! You need to be happy!"
Kami kissed Sky's cheek then looked to Senkou. "Your sister is right. You don't have to be formal until you're older and even then, that's only when you are discussing business about the kingdom or at balls and banquets or something along those lines."

 

"Pizza it is!" Abee grinned, running along.

"Alas my child, why don't you question your mother on how 'formal' I was?" Alphonse grinned.
Sky looked up at Alphonse.

 

Kami rolled her eyes. "You don't want to go there." She laughed.
Raikou laughed too, not even knowing why they were laughing.
Senkou simple watched them.

 

"How formal were you?" Sky asked.
"You know Uncle?" Alphonse replied.
Sky nodded.
"Let's just say I threatened to make him sleep forever if he DARED to hurt Auntie in anyway. And there was the time I almost beat up the Light King over your mother. OH!" Alphonse looked at Kami. "Remember when I went on a rant about your father when he was right behind me?" He grinned.

 

Opal laughed and ran after him.

 

Kami burst out laughing more. "I remember that! It was so funny. But yet frightening."
"You made fun of grandpa?" Raikou pulled at Alphonse's pant leg.

 

Abee ran slower, letting Opal catch up with him.

Sky was awed.
"Yup. Lets just say, I called him a meanie-bo-beanie that doesn't care about anyone but himself and can go have private time with a pig for all I care." Alphonse put Sky down. "That was just the start of it. And there were a lot of adult words in that rant too that I can't tell you otherwise your Mother will make sure I sleep forever."

 

Opal quickly caught up with him, she raised her eyebrows but said nothing.

 

"You're right I will." Kami smiled at him.
Raikou lifted her arms up. "Upsies, Daddy!"
"Why is it that me and twins have purple hair?" Kami thought outloud.

 

"Because you're very slow compared to me." Abee laughed.

Alphonse smiled, picking up Raikou. "You're getting bigger Rai. Soon Daddy won't be able to pick you up! And you might be taller then Sky."
Sky blinked, frowning. "But I was born before them!"
