A King's Story 4: Fading Light

L stalked off.

"really" she smiled.

 

"ThEn...." The figure stepped out from the crystal and in front of Xyam. "What about now?" He asked, his voice the same as Kazune's.

 

"you think you can scare me?, fat chance, I laugh at you"

 

The figure took Xyam's chin in his hand, smirking. "I'm not aiming to scare you." He tilted her head side to side, looking at her before letting go. "Don't you think you should go check on Kazune?" He asked before going back into the crystal.

 

She narrowed her eyes at him. "what did you do to him?"

 

"Nothing. I did nothing to him." His voice echoed around.

Kazune was slumped in his seat, passed out.

 

"then who, or more likely what did?"

 

"If I told you, it would ruin the suprise~" The figure appeared next to Xyam, kissing her cheek and disappearing again.

 

she wiped her face. "fine have it your way" she left the room and shut the doors.

 

The figure stood there, waving at Xyam as she left.

 

She went to Kazune's study and knocked on the door.

 

Kazune didn't reply. He was still passed out.

 

She tried the door handle. "honey?"

 

Kazune still didn't answer.

"I tOlD yOu It WaS gOiNg tO bE a SuPrIsE...."

 

"open this door right now!"

 

The door handle was pulled down and the door opened wide, showing Kazune slumped at his chair.

 

She ran into the room and up to him. "Kazune! Honey wake up, can you hear me?"

 

Kazune's eyes flickered slightly. Shifting his head, he looked up at Xyam, his eyes red.

 

Kami looked at him. She sighed. "Fine. I trust you." She hugged him.

Raikou smiled. "Well me a Chicchai are off!" She went to the door and walked out.
Chicchai followed.

Opal smiled and kissed him back.

Kaia walked slowly through town, in no particular direction.
