A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Kami stroked his head.
Raikou opened the door, looking at Sky.

"Love me for all eternity even if I can't learn math." Nel turned her head to the side.

 

Kaia laughed and smiled at her, "Thanks"

Opal smiled, it felt so good like this and she didn't want this to end but at the back of her mind what Abee had said how it might have effects on the mother troubled her.

 

Sky looked at Rai. "Hi."

"Silly, I already do. But you won't love me when you come back with a big fat FAIL in Maths and not be able to do a lot of things in life." Cid smiled at her.

 

Raikou looked at him more then put a huge smile on her face. "Hi, Sky!"
Kami blinked. "My, I wish I could change my mood that easily."

Nel gasped. "Not true! I'll always love you no matter what!" She protested.

"You're welcome." Kiku looked at her. "You're not from around here, are you?"

 

"Just one thing. I have no idea how long you'll be pregnant. It varies in species." Abee said.

"Reeeally now?" Cid asked, putting a finger on her nose and moving it around.

"She's too happy-go-lucky like Dad is." Sky replied.

 

Nel blushed more. "Y-Yes. Really."

Raikou kept smiling as she opened the door all the way.
Senkou was sitting on the floor, his back to them.

 

Opal frowned, "Okay, we'll just have to wait and see then"

 

Cid leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "Good. I might even love you more if you come back from the test you have tomorrow with at least a C or you got the Cumulative Frequency questions right."

Sky stood up and walked over to Rai, hugging her.

"Nobodies, it's 4.5 months. Humans, 9 months. Currently, I think it took almost 3 years to make me. Lets hope that doesn't apply here." Abee smiled.

 

Kaia smiled, "Is it that obvious? No, I travel a lot but I'm from the Air Kingdom originally."

OOC: Where are they?

Opal laughed, "Yeah, I hope not, I'm not sure I could stand being pregnant 3 years"

 

Nel smiled. "I'll do my best." She opened her book.

Raikou hugged him back. "Hee thank you."

"Air Kingdom, huh? Nice." Kiku smiled.

OOC: I have no clue. @_@

 

"You're in his form, so i'm not that scared of you"

 

"Some even take 7 years...." Abee shuddered.

Cid smiled. "Good." He closed the book again. "I would say that I would help you with this but since you slept through my class, it's now the end." He stood up, taking the books with him.

"Oh really then?" Dark smirked, walking around the crystal. "What if I wasn't in his form?"

 

"So, how about you? You from here or somewhere else?" Kaia asked, intrigued.

 

"Well considering you've already told me what you are, pretty much the same"

 

She breathed out deeply at the thought "I really hope not but this is a first, right? So, we'll just have to wait and see"

 

Nel jaw dropped slightly. "B-But-!"

OOC: Dun forget Sky.

Kiku frowned slightly. "I'm sorry but I can't say."

 

Lawliet slumped sullenly towards the bakery in the middle of town, dragging his battered shoes on the coblestones.

 

This made Kaia even more curious but she didn't want to be rude, "Oh okay, that's fine. May I ask if you're here for a reason or if you're just here by chance like me or is that secret too?" She asked light-heartedly.
