A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Sky sat outside the door.

Abee smiled back at her, hugging Opal. "Yay."

 

Kiku shrugged. "No clue."

Kami walked up to him. She sat beside him.

 

Opal laughed and hugged him back.

 

"I said sorry. Now Rai is angry at me." Sky sighed, streching his wings. They looked exactly like Alphonse's.

"I honestly thought I wouldn't have a family." Abee smiled.

 

Opal grinned, "Well, now you will, if you like it or not"

 

"I like it." Abee grinned.

 

"And I'm so glad you do" Opal held his hands tightly.

 

"How on earth did you upset the haapiest girl in the world? I have never seen her upset." Kami asked, brushing his wings.

 

Kaia laughed, "I like you, you're cool"

Abee nodded, kissing her.

"Beats me." Sky smiled. He loved it when people brushed his wings, just like Alphonse.

"And thats when the Cumulative frequency adds up to the-" Cid stopped, looking down at Nel. He could tell that she was pretending to be awake.

 

Kiku blushed a little. "Cool, huh?"

Kami smiled. "Are you sure you don't know?

Nel had her sunglasses on, snoozing like a bug.

 

Kaia grinned and nodded, "Yeah, you seem cool"

 

"100% sure." Sky smiled back.

Cid sighed and shut the book he was holding. He held it over Nel's head before dropping it.

 

Opal wes taken by suprise, she blinked a few times and kissed him back.

 

Abee smiled. "I love you Opal."

 

"I love you, Abee" Opal replied quietly, her heart felt like it was about to leap out of her chest.

 

Kiku smiled. "Thank you. So do you."

"Well maybe you were talking about a certain someone." Kami hugged him.

Nel jumped up. "The square root of five is 186.9!"

 

Abee rested his head on her shoulder, happy.

"...... Well, I was angry at you......" Sky replied quietly.

Cid laughed and picked up the book again. "Nel, I know that Maths is boring and you think you can't do it but that gives you no excuse to sleep in my classes. You're lucky that you get these lessons from me instead of having to stay behind more with your boring old Math teacher." He pulled up a chair, sitting next to her.

 

Kami looked at him. "Sky...You must understand that I'm just trying to protect you."

Nel blushed and scratched her cheek. "I'm sorry, Cid. I promise to pay more attention."

 

"I know......" Sky sighed.

Cid rolled his eyes. "You promised me that last week." He sighed. "Whatever am I to do with you Nel?"
