A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Akuji noticed him and smiled back, holding his hand tightly.
Grell stood up, looking at them both. "Go back to Hiiro. And this time, act more human. I thought Ledoux was keeping you on a tight leash."
"I tried."

 

Clark watched Grell. "So is there anymore surpises I need to be aware of today?"

 

Grell sighed. "As far as I'm aware of, no. There isn't anymore."
Rhyder and Veilia looked at eachother before shrugging. "See you in 3 years." They both disappeared.

 

L stood outside Amai's tent, shuffling around. "Amai?, are you ok?"

 

"Great." Clark turned to Akuji again, smiling as he took her hand. "Time for us to spend time together."

Amai was sitting down, staring forward.

 

"amai?" he poked his head inside the tent and waited for a reply..

 

Akuji smiled back at Clark, holding his hands tight. "Yeah."
Alois blinked, snapping back to himself. "Hmm?" He looked around. "Claude, why're we here?"
"We were invited to visit Lady Akuji." Claude replied.
Alois crossed his arms. "I feel like I've been here for hours. We should take our leave, not to get on His Majesty's badside."
Claude bowed. "Yes, your Highness."

 

Amai looked at him, still not saying a word.

Clark smiled more warmly, staring into her eyes.

 

Akuji smiled more before looking at Alois. "I hope to see you soon then." She waved to him.
Alois nodded. "Of course. You know I'll always be here if that steps out of line." He pointed at Clark and smirked. "Ciao." He headed off.
Akuji giggled.

 

Clark frowned a bit then smiled as he turned to Akuji. "What do you want to do?"
