A King's Story 4: Fading Light

Alphonse hugged her tight. "Awh..... Don't cry...."

"It's like Mom banning you from doing trying to use your powers!" Sky carried on.

Abee looked at her. "You okay?"

 

Kami tried her best to hold back her tears. "I-It's so dangerous. T-T-That's why I'm t-taking it slow w-w-with Rai."

Raikou frowned more.

 

"Tell you what. I make sure Sky uses Alchemy safely if you lift the ban and stop crying." Alphonse smiled, kissing her cheek.

Sky stopped, looking at Raikou. "Why're you frowning?"

 

Opal smiled at him, "yeah, I'm fine. My taste has just gone a little off lately"

 

Kami looked a him. After a while, she began to smile. She hugged him. "Thank you."

"You're talking bad about mom." Raikou replied.
Senkou look from his book. "No good." He said to himself.

 

"Hmm.... First you throw up, now your taste it off..... Do you think you might be sick?" Abee asked.

Alphonse smiled back, kissing her. "You're welcome."

"Oh, so what?!" Sky crossed his arms. "She's being mean for no good reason."

 

"I guess, but it's been funny for a bit now" Opal frowned as a thought crossed her mind, "I gotta go" She suddenly dashed out of the room and up to her room.

 

Kami kissed him back, lieing back and pulling Alphonse with her.

Raikou's eyes began to turn from purple to red. "She's just trying to look out for you,"
Senkou sighed and stood up, standing in front of Sky.

"It's not like looking out for me will do much. I'm not doing anything dangerous!" Sky frowned, looking at Raikou. His eyes flashed red for a second.

 

Opal reached her room and locked it behind her, she quickly got out her calender and began rapidly flicking through it, looking for small marks. She suddenly dropped the calender as she saw what she was looking for, she had definatly missed two periods. She shook her head, how could she have missed this? She rushed into the bathroom, flung open a cuboard as began frantically searching in the back of it.

 

Abee raised an eyebrow before carrying eating his pizza. "Opal sure has been acting odd lately."

 

Opal finally found what she was looking for at the back of the cuboard. She held it in her hand unsure if she should use it or not, she had got it as a joke. She took a deep breath and decided she had to know.

A few minutes later, Opal was sat down, shaking. She couldn't believe it and she was partly over the moon and partly terrified. How would she tell Abee? All around her were scattered used pregnancy tests, she had used every single one she had and each one had the same result: She was pregnant.

 

Abee finished his pizza and put the box in the bin. Maybe I should check on Opal.... He left the kitchen, heading to Opal's room.

 

"Oh shiz" she paused, staring at him.

 

"What's...... wrong.....?" Kazune asked, his eyes flickering.

 

"Your eyes...they're ..red"she hesitated. *Just like crystal dudes*

 

"Red......?" Kazune thought for awhile. "Oh yeah......" He smirked. "I rEmBeR wHy NoW....."

 

She quickly backed away from him.

 

Kazune sat up properly. "I also discovered what's wrong with the crystal." He stood up, leaning against his desk. "There was NOTHING wrong with it! Nothing what so ever."
