A King's Story 3: Dark Secrets

Abee nodded. "Oh... and that video..?" He looked up at her, grinning. "Is doesn't exist. I never recorded anything~!"

 

"What? Oh you little..." Opal threw a pillow at him, then checked his phone to make sure there was no video.

 

Abee laughed, catching the pillow. Watching her, his smile suddenly left and he snatched the phone away before she could acess media. "Whoops! No looking in there."

 

Opal raised her eyebrows, "Why? What are you hiding? Have you got something you shouldn't on there?"

 

"I've got pictures on here I don't want you to see. Or anyone." Abee frowned, putting his phone away and waking out. Walking down the corridor, when he turned the corner Abee brought his phone out again and flicked through his pictures. Most of them were just of Opal.

Bic: "uh okay?" Opal frowned as Abee walked out, waited a moment then went after him, "Abee, wait! Don't worry, I'm not gonna press you on them" She ran down the corridor and round the corner.

 

Abee jumped and dropped his phone. A big picture of him and Opal came onto the screen.

 

Opal grinned as she came round the corner, "Hey, what are you looking so shocked..." She spotted the picture and laughed, "Is that what you didn't want me to see? What are you so embarassed about? I think it's sweet and you should see my...anyway, it doesn't matter"

 

Abee went slightly pink and picked up his phone. "Umm... yeah..." Lets go with that....

 

Opal laughed and moved her hair out of her eyes, "So, where to?" She looked at him, it was so sweet he'd got all embarassed about that.

 

"W-We're meant to be on scouting duty again. Abee said. "Out in the sea, looking around, fending off any wild fish..."

 

"Oh god, I completely forgot. And again? That's the third time this month. Okay, then we'd better get down there before they notice we're missing. You know, it's your fault for last night but we don't have time to worry about that now, come on!" Opal grabbed Abee's hand and ran off.

 

Abee blinked, being dragged along by Opal. Passing a window that looked out into the sea, he caught a reflection of himself in his armour like he was when Chosen. Why am I constantly haunted by these visions?

 

Opal glanced back at Abee and frowned, "Are you okay?" He'd seemed to space out a lot recently, she carried on running and pulled him down a flight of stairs, "Just round this corner"

 

Abee still followed, staring at his reflection on the windows. Should I.... become that person again...?

 

As Opal went round the last bend and reached the sea, she looked back at Abee. She wouldn't tell him but she was worried about him. "Hey, you want to do this?"

 

Abee stayed quiet for awhile before looking up at Abee. "Yeah. I'll be fine." He smiled at her.

 

Kami tilted her head to the side, smiling. What a creative imagination you have there, my love. She looked up and thought.
At that moment, a shadow lurked around, watching them.

 

Alphonse laughed. "Mind, I'm am technically 8 years old. I have a child's imagination but I am grown up mentally too."

Bic: Opal smiled back, "Alright, let's get this show on the road and just hope they didn't notice we were missing" She grinned and dived in.
