    This is true.

Frostwire's still running, though. And it's just as free!

Didn't Limewire get sued and removed?

Anyway, I don't know if it's free, but it's illegal. Also, it puts so many viruses on your computer, it's not even worth it (same thing with Frostwire, if i'm not mistaken). Just try Mediafire instead.

Heyy guys, let's try to stay on topic. Their second question hasn't been answered yet. =]
By the way, Limewire/Frostwire in themselves are not illegal -- it's just the things they are often used for that are.

Anyway, I really want to say it won't add a virtual drive on its own, but I'm not sure. I know there is other free software you can download to get a virtual drive, however.

Holy **** someone who knows what they're talking about.

Frostwire and Limewire are not illegal when sharing folders are turned off. The reason that they BECOME illegal is because when things are downloaded, they are automatically shared, meaning that you've just taken something for free and given it to someone else for free. The taking is not illegal, but the giving is.

I doubt Limewire and Frostwire allow you to have a virtual drive on your computer. If you want a virtual drive, try out Daemon Tools. The Lite version of the program is free but it can only be used for mounting images(no image conversion, creation, burning, and so forth).

They don't. Just go with Daemon Tools.

I'm guessing this is to mount a .ISO file? If it's to burn a .ISO file, I'd recommend trying out MagicISO as well, seeing as it might be a little bit simpler than Daemon Tools.
Alcohol 120 is the best one though, but isn't free for everyone *cough*
