Nice. ;D I love the blurriness going on here, it adds to the depth excellently. The only things I don't like are the border, and that some of the detail in the face was lost. But overall, great collab.
The colouring and smudging are excellent here. Wonderful job. As for smudging, this may be personal taste but you could try adding some more directional variation to it. Have some smudge lines go up and over instead of just all flowing in one direction (though it's not bad, and I really don't mind it that much here) The border is a bit distracting, but I do love the colours more in the second version. The border... meh, it just looks slapped, and I really kinda just go "Why is it even there?" ya know? Also in the second one, as much as I do love the colours, the lighting is a bit too strong, and I think that's cutting a bit of detail off of your focal's face. Great collab. Very nice. =)
